this is the most interesting game of the night from the brand name standpoint the big conference standpoint this is the Big 10 matchup Nebraska Indiana in Lincoln tonight uh Nebraska a four and a half Point favorite we speculated on the show yesterday would Nebraska open Jeff I think you were saying like one or two it opened I think at four or 4 and a half there it is at or four and a half the total is 154 in this one uh any thought Jeff initially here on that line did it tempt you when you saw that yesterday or last night yeah I gotta tell you it did I I don’t I don’t know if I understand this number I I could understand maybe one or two but four and a half I mean why what has Nebraska done to be a 4 and a half Point favorite in this spot I mean Indiana as we’ve talked about that played really well I mean we magnified two days of that that tournament that they were in out in Atlantis but I mean they were against two quality teams I mean Louisville is significantly better and gonzaga’s top five team you know since then you they taken care of business they won every game by double digits and here they are on the road in Lincoln this is not as strong a Nebraska team as last season I guess though I understand you’re betting against uh I think sharp money and probably some you know surely public money here too too um I don’t know it kind of has a feel Nebraska has the win at kraton that’s what I think fuels some of the thought they’re at home here yeah well listen it kind of reminds me of that Rucker Penn State game the other night I think if you get four and a half you’re probably in a good spot it wouldn’t surprise me if this game Falls like two or three and by game time this is two and a half and you either win or lose I I I think it’s close I I just don’t see a a blot here and for for that rate I mean Nebraska did beat kraton but but they did lose to Michigan State 8952 I mean they lost by 33 point we at 37 points that’s that’s crazy so yeah lean Indiana here I think this is a little overreaction we saw the Trevor comment Nebraska is opening you know the Big 10 season it’s Indiana’s first true Road game what do we think about all of that Corby Craig thoughts including on the total here for this one tonight in the Big 10 yeah I’m going to live button this under 154 uh talked about yesterday I thought it would open like 151 152 so again I’m not not coming on the show to give uh nothing I’ll try to at least like we’re scraping marginal value here boys but we’re gonna try we’re gonna try uh and it makes sense in my head like we we seen Indiana team who I do agree with Jeff like four and a half feels like the Buy number like I mean even like three and a half would have made sense but just like Crossing through four doesn’t yeah I’m not buying I think there’s too much homec court advantage baked into this we go look at this Indiana team though they scored 82 vers Minnesota awesome we talked about that game and said Indiana would be able to do whatever they want Minnesota um is going to have no ability because they’re going to have to play with Pace they played Miami Ohio they scor 76 points in that game like Miami Ohio gave up almost 100 in Michigan I I think it was a lot less impressive of a win than like people probably just Skip by it but I see like a lowlevel only went 67 possessions versus Miami Ohio Nebraska 52 points versus Michigan State Jeff just talks about they shot awful don’t get me wrong they also gave up 22 for 23 from the free throw line to Michigan State so I think we’re just seeing like a recent bias of this thought that maybe like they want to play faster than they do that is excellent shooting by Michigan state that true score is probably closer to like they scored 89 it’s probably closer to like 80 and it if like what is this what is this total if you make that game 80 to 64 it’s probably a little lower than 154 so I’m going to take it under it’s uh again it’s directional it’s a marginal amount of value but it’s a Friday and we’re going to play it I mentioned Jeff that Nebraska beat kraton at kraton I don’t know if cul brener played in that game I’m trying to remember and rack my brain we got to look at the box score they beat them by yeah they beat they beat them by double figures uh in Omaha then after that they beat South Dakota we we mentioned North Florida they blew them out at home but then what to make of what happened to them in a 37o loss to Michigan State now this is the home opener with Indiana he just throw that out there he did play but he was supremely ineffective he only had four points in 39 minutes I also want to make this clear we talked about North Florida shooting 45 threes in that game for kraton they shot 42 threes in that game only made 12 28.6% so again super weird game yeah it’s one of those yeah to your point C Brer didn’t even shoot a two that game TJ he played 39 minutes zero for Zero from two zero for one from three and four free throws he didn’t even score a field goal that game so super weird box score there and again Nebraska won that game but they also have a loss to St Mary’s earlier in the year they have that bad loss to Michigan State again this is Friday night action uh that is upcoming here on Fox on the on the over the air big Network at 7 Central 8 Eastern time and Corby Craig’s live button is stay under stay
