any blackjack tables in a close vicinity to Assembly Hall so you should be okay that’s massive uh I don’t think a team needed to get home more than uh this Indiana team needed to get home they needed to get they need to get away from Atlantis away from Resorts away from golf courses away from casinos home is good home is where the heart is does this Indiana team have any heart uh that is Up For Debate what’s the what’s the what’s the one character from Dorothy that ain’t got a heart uh well let’s see the first off we should both watch Wicked that’s my takeaway the Scarecrow didn’t have I’m talking about Wicked that’s a different movie we’re talking about wicked’s the prequel to Wizard of Oz it is yeah oh come on uh yeah it’s either I’m trying to remember T lion needed courage it’s the Tin Man the Tin Man didn’t have a heart yeah and the Scarecrow didn’t have a brain yeah okay so Mike Woodson’s the Scarecrow uh Umar balos the Tin Man miles rice is the lion is the lion there we go you’re Wicked there’s your game preview we just saw who’s the wicked witch of Bloomington Curson Eddie pretty much pretty much uh not all that Wicked if you actually think about it Sam Houston State’s not that bad which is not what Indiana fans want to hear 128th best team in the country uh they are forign four they’ve lost to everybody with a pulse that they’ve played but the metrics still believe in them and they can really shoot the ball from three they got blown out by Baylor lost by 37 points uh they lost by 16 at Nevada those the only two top 100 teams they’ve played they did go on the road and blow out Tarlton I’m not saying tarlton’s any good but like I watched that tlon team in person give Michigan a game and Sam Houston blew him out so I don’t really know what to make of Sam Houston they shoot 40% from three as a team team though from three that’s 15th best in the country and uh that would scare me a little bit if I’m like Indiana fan on the come down from a bad battle for Atlanta week like I would have liked to see a worse team than Sam Houston step into Assembly Hall yeah um if I could change the schedule um anyway I would I would have literally clicked on threep point percentage on kmom and I would have did the like the whole sort through lowest like I needed somebody at the very bottom I would have loved to play like a a Youngstown State level shooting team not a not a San Houston State look when you are a team that is going to be underdogs and you are going to play against a team that maybe didn’t necessarily have the best prequel games leading up to this game there is a world where Sam Houston State gets very hot from three and they find themselves in a spot and Indiana finds themselves in a spot they don’t want to be that’s pretty much the only hope though right Sam Houston doesn’t have much else they don’t they also don’t shoot a lot of Threes for a team that makes a lot they’re not super high volume right but I mean 40% close 40% clip and like history tells us that they almost always are a good shooting team they shot 38% from 3 two years ago 16th in the country last year 35% 113th in the country so like making threes is what Sam Houston has done as a program for a couple of years now my computer’s falling okay let’s let’s not have that um a team though that likees San I mean they’re like I said you they’re not a total cupcake like they’re 104th offensively uh efficiency so like if you if let’s let’s say this if Indiana plays like they did in the battle for Atlantis very much a loss is in the cards here yeah uh okay so I have I have two other things that scare me that Sam Houston does well that could exploit Indiana’s weaknesses they’re good at forcing turnovers they’re top 70 62nd in the country at forcing turnovers Indiana’s offense been awful at turning the ball over 277th they’re going to turn the ball over in this game the other thing Sam Houston for not being a very big team like they get beat up at guarding two-point shots they get beat up on the offensive glass when they’re on defense uh they are very aggressive at offensive rebounding the ball top 70 there as well they rebound 35% of their misses Indiana for as big as they are is one of the worst teams at preventing offensive rebounds in the country I mean come on come on it’s crazy like how what am I reading this right are they 292nd in the country off rebound yes at preventing offensive rebounds the Indiana front Court which costs at least $3 million uh is that bad at preventing offensive rebounds how do you like I I I I just uh L luckily Indiana might not be a metrics analytic school so they might not even know this is a thing yeah uh yeah I don’t know it’s scary to me I think uh looking past Sam Houston’s results the profile really terrifies me the results don’t you look at what Sam Houston’s actually done I mean they lost to Appalachian State lost to UNC Wilmington this feels like a game where Indiana will win but just kind of let them hang around you know yeah it’ll end up being like a 13-point victory but it’ll be with eight the whole game let’s say you have one wish suddenly you’re a Genie or actually you’re you’re the wizard You’re The Wizard of Oz you get to Grant whatever one wish that uh that Umar Balo miles rice and Trey came to wish for uh what wish are you granting what are you giving Indiana I I want I want my my little kitty cat miles rice to Have Courage that’s the number one thing we’re after he’s he’s acting like a lion cub like oh spooky I’m go hide under my hide under hide under the man of my big grown-up father of a you know of a lion I need him to be a lion courage Simba Simba are there any bad cartoon lions Woods in s shape like Pumba uh yeah okay well I think for me for this game specifically would rather Umar Balo have a heart this is crazy that this is our Dialogue on Indiana basketball right now but like if Umar Balo just plays hard I think they they destroy Sam Houston yeah so let here’s the angle I want to end this with if they blow out Sam Houston State are they fixed no no okay uh is it deathcon five if this is a single digit game yeah there this game there this is a classic nothing to win game nothing to win there’s nothing to win you could beat Sam Houston by 60 and we would be like that’s a bummer it’s Sam Houston if you lose to Sam Houston it’s fire Woodson again tough times hey look at the schedule there there isn’t a game for them to prove themselves until they play Ruckers in January they got a stretch coming up here I mean they only play what one top 100 team it’s crazy everybody else in the Big 10 starts their conference season this week Indiana doesn’t till next week they just asked for like a week delay for whatever reason I mean
