hello guys and welcome back to another video in our channel so when you look at the last nine games you can see the position that Chelsea Football Club is in and uh that is just um position three the first nine games Chelsea was position five however uh Chelsea has not uh registered a win in their last two fixtures in the Premier League actually getting their third loss of the Season against fham now uh there’s a lot of things that happened in that fullam game and I did not have a lot of time to do an indepth review about it but uh one thing that I noticed is that Chelsea lacked control in that game from minute one to minute 90 meaning that fullham controlled that game and that’s why Chelsea was so were unable to actually hold on to a one- n lead [Music] so what really happened in that game well so I’m going to do a a two-part Series in this video I’m going to do a a review of the fullam game while I preview the next game against it switch down so uh let’s look at just some clear Snippets now one problem that I identified with Chelsea was how they pressed fullham the way Chelsea pressed fham was a man-to-man approach pressing but it was not well coord uned as you can see here Jackson is the one who’s leading the Press but you can see how the position of Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez really made fullam play through Chelsea now Fernandez was the one who was stepping out to cover fulham’s uh right sided Center back after Jackson has pressed the goalkeeper and look at the position of Palmer who should have actually moved to cover the pivot player while Jackson covering the other pivote player but the problem here is the right sided fullback is able to play the ball towards the pivote player and you can see Palmer has not shifted across to win that ball it is even being made worse because Robinson who’s playing as a left wing back has actually occupied a left wing kind of position and WBY has dropped de and he is looking to pick up the ball from deeper regions and in this case malog Gusto who was covering iwobi has to drop so deep to cover iwobi putting pedrono in a one V one situation with Robinson and opening a huge gap between TOs drao and right back and that is how iobi manages to bypass malog Gusto who’s en able to stop him he is able to turn and he’s able to play the ball ahead of Robinson who wins the run against pedroo that’s how Chelsea kept finding themselves in trouble now if switch down away is not an easy game and I’m I’m saying this these lower league uh lower table teams are not easy fixtures now if switch down at a team that will go at you as much as they can this is another chaotic game that’s just the way it switch down play key players are like delap and Chelsea’s former star Hinson and and you just know how these things are Written in the Stars uh you always find the player who played for your team is the one who’s actually scoring against you so one thing that I realized about Chelsea in the last game is their inability to finish off the game earlier on immediately CH Chelsea went one n up I think should have done better so that they can ensure Chelsea have that 2-n cushion because whenever Chelsea have that 2-0 cushion they they play with a much more relaxed feeling now we realize that in the fullam match Chelsea lacked a bit of control and maresa even explained about this in his press conference and it further emphasizes what I always say that Chelsea need that buffer goal because if Chelsea go 2 N up then even uh fham will Chelsea will just drop deep and look to contain fham and look to hit them on the counter because fham will be more expansive but when when Chelsea just went one n up and even you can see the first goal that Chelsea considered it was a sloppy goal maresa went ahead and talked about Joe Felix he explained about ja Felix and you know it it has it was a pressure why ja Felix was not reintroduced into that game and he talked about how you know to get the balance of the team he had to bring on kungu there was no way he would bring on on ja Felix because it would alter the balance of the game and there are rumors that are coming out that the he actually did not sanction the signing of Ja Felix at the club he also talked about non mad he bundled him together with renat Vega saying that he expects more from them in training indicating that there’s something that he’s displeased with with non mad in training but he said again that in the I switch game he might make some changes and actually players might come in probably a player like non mad might actually find himself back into the team another key and critical player he talked about was R James talking about how R James is back in full training and uh how they will he will assess him whether he’ll be ready and available to start in tomorrow’s game I believe again the problem is that we cannot always rely on R James but if we have a fit R James definitely we don’t lose that full H game with R James at right back we don’t lose that game and probably we have better quality in the Everton game when we have R James at right back we have seen how Gusto has fallen off this season maresa also went ahead and talked about Lavia talking about that Lavia is also back in trading and uh probably might also probably get back into the team again you see a player like Lavia together with cedo in that pivot in Midfield they help to control the game again when you have a player like La in that game you can’t have uh fullam dominating that Midfield you know when you have Fernandez and kaedo in that Midfield you lack the balance because uh without the ball Fernandez is not going to give you the kind of legs that Lavia is going to give you and that is what we really found out now before we again you know Sanchez you don’t really understand him he saves Chelsea a point at away at Everton comes this week plays well I think he played well throughout the game until the last moments of the towards the latter stages of the game um going to go with a fullback pairing R James and Kella I probably think that re James will be fit enough we really need R James’s leadership we need his physicality Gusto has really really fallen off this season that’s something that we really need to talk about Gusto has really fallen off and that’s why in the fullam game iwobi just kept spanning him even whenever he went tight on iwobi iobi will just dribble past him and play the ball in behind for Robinson and uh indicates how Gusto has been poor this season uh we’re going to go to the center back Partnership of tosin Andi cwell fana is yet to be back we really don’t know when fana Bena will be back so most likely it’s going to be tossin and Cel both of them I don’t think they’ have done anything wrong I cannot blame them tosin has looked qu has played quite well though he has he has made some sloppy passes but uh both of them have played well I cannot complain about the center backs now I’m going to go with a Midfield then we just have to rely on the mid field of quo and Fernandez but I would really like to see Romero Lavia back into the team yeah I I do understand that we need laia in the team as much as Enzo is giving Chelsea a lot offensively when Chelsea are not controlling games Enzo Fernandez is not giving kaedo that needed help in that Midfield and we saw it the game against FHA going with a front three of non down the right Palma down the middle and Sancho down the left one thing I really want to say is Sancho attempting shorts on shots on goal a lot of times Sancho is just dribbling and passing the ball dribbling and passing the ball and that annoys me a lot he needs to attempt shots from that position one thing that I also like about non oreto is that non mad likes to shoot a lot and sometimes he scores goals NATO is just attempting to spam in crosses and there’s no point in Crossing if you know very well that Jackson is so weak on the air and we can only rely on Kella to score ahead goals leading in the line we have no choice it is Jackson he’s been out of form recently Jackson really needs to work on his heading ability he’s offering Us together with Palma Sancho and mad in the flanks while Jackson leading the line because remember both kaedo and curella can really be solid in that Midfield there’s no point in pushing curella further up the pitch and you make him cover long distances you can even subject him to hamstring injuries now one way maresa looked to achieve numerical advantages in that game is moving to a 313 with having Fernandez Advance down the right and Kella playing down the left and it’s something that maresa can do also in that game uh that system allows Chelsea to have many players in Midfield and it it also allows a player like kaedo to have options everywhere on the pitch and uh having a player like San in the wide area gives you much needed control and also having a player like urella who’s able to overlap in those kinds of scenarios but I really really expect much more from the Wingers in this game in particular and the forwards need to step up because I am feeling pity for Palmer Palmer just came up with a moment of magic why can’t the other players just work hard and defend that goal why does NATO have to fake an injury because the minute NATO falls down and he fakes an injury the entire defense switches off they expect the referee to do it again it’s indicating the inexperience that Chelsea have in that team because you it it is always known that whenever you’re playing football always play with the referees whistle so I don’t know why the defense switched off and that’s how we considered the first goal because nobody absolutely knew how the first goal was being considered everybody was focused on looking on whether pedrono was okay but the referee allowed the game to play on so what you’re supposed to do is defend the ball win the ball then kick it out and then look at nto but you cannot assume that you just continue to slip off while defending because your player is down that is how Chelsea managed to lose points in that game Chelsea and maresa kept on saying this when people are saying that Chelsea were in a title race maresa kept on saying this this we are not in a title race because of the goal we conceded against brenford we are not in a title race because of how we almost conceded a goal away at Everton why are we so absent especially in the last 10 minutes of the game look at all the games that we have considered goals in the latter stages the brenford game the Leer game Chelsea are constantly switching off minute 80 to minute 90 the entire team is Switched Off why the reason why Chelsea are losing games is because they switch they getting switched off that’s why we are even as fans when we are watching the game we are constantly asking that the team scores two goals because we know very well they’re going to switch off towards the last minutes of the game and that is something that Enzo maresa has to address with the players you have to be 100% switched on in the game the game ends when the referee blows the final whistle enough of
