realize that what it is what’s expected of you when you play for Manchester United what was interesting there he’s talked about unity and together is he waited for everyone every member of staff and player together as a group to go over to the to the traveling supporters all the all these things matter you know they they make such a difference you know when you get that Unity the togetherness uh it’s going to take him a long while to to put his thoughts on the team his ideas know the way he thinks what what makes a team tick what what is needed for the whole the whole football club to come together so they can move forward together it can be done it’s not a it’s not an unwanted task it’s something that can be done but it it takes an awful lot of hard work behind the scenes and that togetherness and that desire to understand what the new manager wants and you know go out and incorporate it on a on a match day did you see any difference any change any slight areas today I mean it’s going to be difficult in two and a half days I actually didn’t I didn’t I didn’t think there was much urgency to win the game as Teddy said you see the manager he could have frustrated figure at times wanting the team to get the ball forward particularly in the last 5 10 minutes but everybody was safe everybody goes sideways nobody wants to take the responsibility to do something Amad did it what in the last couple of minutes of the game drove forward took somebody on got somebody in the box but apart from that I thought it was quite an insle performance from United they didn’t really make any chances they tried to change it around by putting different uh bodies on zi came on hland come on May some mou trying to do something different but in all honesty they offered very little I was a bit disappointed by them I thought they’d give the new manager more I thought there’d be an excitement a buzz an agency but actually it was just a bit of the the same all United really I expect them to get better I think the manager is one of those managers who will be better with this team but I was disappointed with them today I was more impressed with ipswitch performance than I was with than United’s yeah Manchester United probably dominate in terms of possession but goal scoring opportunities if had by far the best opportunities and probably would feel a little bit hard done by that they’ve only got a point today but yeah massive the the foundations are there the result against Spurs in the last game to get three points to go to the Totten hot spur stadium and get the three then Bruno Bruno amarim sorry Ruben amar’s first game in charge to get a point and play as well as you did it’s big positives and again it’s it’s the building blocks as well and that point could be crucial coming into the season so nine out of the 10 are down your manager said before this game that in his opinion this was the biggest game in the world this weekend and the eyes of the world were on it so those watching what would they have made of that I switch performance today um I think we showed mix of things really um disappointed not to get the win on reflection with the chances I think their Keepers made a couple of fantastic saves um right from close range but we’ done well um we had to show our resilience at the end and yeah it’s a it’s a point in the right direction Amari Manchester United got off to the best possible start from their perspective but how positive was the IP switch reaction to going behind yeah that’s how that’s what we do um you know if we go go behind you know I think we play even better um you know we get extra boost and I thought like we get extra confidence when we go one down and we just have to uh keep in it and stick together and show resilience as skip said and yeah hopefully the outcome comes positive you’ve scored a few special goals particularly in that promotion push and and similar ones to that in the past but how did you rate that one personally and how crucial was the timing just before halftime yeah I’ve been working on it and training we’ve been waiting for that one we’ve been waiting for it um we I just want to help the team you know gos and assist and my performances and trying to win games um today was unlucky but yeah Sam how many have gone in in training yeah um he’s got that he’s got that quality um loads go in we’ just been waiting for that first one and now undoubtedly he’s going to he’s going to score a lot of goals this season it’s going to make a difference for us you mentioned you should have probably and could have won the game today how much was that down to Liam dap and his efforts today and how good an oldfashioned Center forward is he yeah oldfashioned battering ram with real quality real power um he’s having a great season he scored a lot of goals um he’s had some good chances today but equally the keeper makes some fantastic saves um so we won’t be too hard on him on this occasion Amar you got that all important First Premier League win at Tottenham managers coaches players always say it’s important that you back that up in your next game do you feel you’ve done that with that performance today yeah 100% I always try to give 100% in my performances as I said working working hard for the team on and off the ball um and I think I showed that I’ve been showing that in my games and I just want to carry it on and keep performing Sam just quickly and fin do you feel it switch becoming of age now back in the Premier League I think so yeah um we’ve got good momentum we’re getting better and better obviously we take each game as it comes it’s a really competitive league but the big thing is we get points on the board and we keep improving and um that’s the culture of the football club to keep getting better and um yeah within the next block of games I’m sure we’ll improve and get more points well listen well done to both of you but Amari especially well done to are they finding their feet are they making steps forward yeah they are I mean again I go back to the the Tottenham result getting that first win but today I thought they played really well again you look at the stats Manchester United would would have had more possession but the clear goal scoring opportunities is should be W walking off the pitch today with a 34-1 victory because they got a great goal Mari Hinson he he spoke about working on that in training but Liam dap’s probably thinking in the change room right now I should have had a couple um there’s been so many opportunities they had they got themselves into good areas and I think they coped with man United really well so I do think moving forward now they can take real Confidence from the last two performances I think they’ve been in the game the brenford game was a prime example they go two up they maybe the inexperience is which is what consed them over the line today they got back into shape we probably more happy with the point than Manchester United were but I can understand that it’s been it’s been a tough start to the season for them playing Liverpool Manchester City the first two games of the season but they are starting to find their feet now and they’re starting to show some good signs two great chances for dap getting himself in the in the center of the goals when the ball’s coming into the box you’ve got chances you know the first one in the first half should score gets himself in a great position lovely little pass and should should finish the one in the second half coming from the right wing getting himself in the center of the goal again lovely little flick great save from Manana could have been could have been a real hero today couldn’t he dap but but probably the the main player of the day I would say um the standout player put himself about made himself a proper Menace for for the man united defense and unlucky not to come out a winner they the fine lines as a newly promoted team you know one goal suddenly you got to win instead of a draw a couple more points on the board you’re out of the Drop Zone yeah but I I just I thought there was a a lot they did right today you know we’ve seen two of the teams that are struggling at the bottom Southampton against Liverpool and ipswitch and you’d think ipswitch certainly look more equipped than Southampton at this moment in time they had a pattern of play they didn’t give up many opportunities to the opposition you they worked really hard you can see there’s a passion around the ground it’s going to be a difficult place to go Portman Road and get a result so um I thought he’s themselves proud today they didn’t get the results but they certainly weren’t second best I thought they made the better chances that they look dangerous and they look more of a unit than U than United did today so I think going forward as as Bentley rightly said they’ve only just come in the league they haven’t got the finances of other teams but they’re starting to build a little bit of a momentum which will help them yeah and the next and they’re not too far away from it again today the next post is to get that first home win to get that little bit more belief yeah and move forward again exactly I mean they’ll give anyone a game at Portman Road I think away from home at times may be a little bit easy to to play against but at home with the fans behind them because that set of supporters down there don’t expect too much that’s the biggest thing they’ been in the Premier League for over 20 years so they’re not expecting him to get into the Premier League and start blasting teams away and finishing top half of the table this this first season back in the Premier League is all about survival and if they finish 17th and they survive fantastic season but um again the building blocks in the foundations to go Toe to Toe of a Manchester United side with a new manager who we will expect to be better than where they are to get a point and should have won the game that would give everyone uh among turn would be um massive confidence mhm because that the more than finding their feet at home really aren’t they well there’s so many games at home they should have they should have taken all all the points I mean we go back to the first half against Liverpool I thought they were fantastic maybe ran out of steam second half and Liverpool’s quality showed us and today they they played against the Manchester United side and you look at the chances they created the Conor Chaplin one we even speak about where it comes across and it just gets stuck under his feet I could have if I had won 4-1 today no one could watch that game and go oh that was against a runner play they would have thoroughly deserved to beat Manchester United 4-1 based on the chances that they got and what belief will they get from that loads I mean Liam did that he won’t do that again in his head he be thinking right I missed two chances but he’s been brilliant this season so no one will point the finger at him and say we haven’t won today because of you because he’ll probably play next week and score a hattick because that’s how good he’s been not just his goals but his General play as Teddy spoke about holding the ball up rolling Defenders creating opportunity stretch in the pitch I thought he was outstanded today he probably takes man of the match if he scores the goal yeah he’s lovely and aggressive wasn’t he which really like to see from a team that have only just come into the league working hard a lot of them work hard and you know they’re fighting for every for every ball which is great you thought Amari Hutcherson was outstanding today didn’t you I thought he was fantastic absolutely fantastic how good probably man of the match is Heen is that a good enough for you Mari fantastic fantastic how good does that sound yeah no very happy with the performance um quite frustrated we did come with a win you know Liam dap had a lot of chances I thought we done really well um it was a tough second half but we stuck with it and showed resilience is that the level of your performance then that you’re disappointed to come off and and not beat Manchester United yeah that’s how we always want to play you know we want to dominate games and and win games and uh that’s what we work hard and training for um but you know they they good side you know they had a new manager had a lot of confidence but we stuck with it and you know we’ll take we’ll take the point Amari I thought you guys were fantastic today do you guys feel like now that you’re you’re playing at a level that’s premier leag League standard 100% I think we’re getting better every game um especially coming away from the Everton game you know we learned a lot from that game and yeah as we said we’ve been working hard in training and looking back at our clips and trying to trying to work hard on them and yeah I think we’re getting better by each game you can we cannot do it uh at the moment but they tried they really really tried I know this is is is for some for some guys it’s it’s hard to to understand this but they are really really trying and they they want this when you talk about the players maybe thinking too much is that because they’re they’re thinking about what what you want from them what you’ve asked them to do and and the differences from what they they’re used to doing that’s that’s the the reason uh that’s really his that that reason uh but we have two ways so we try to win just win games and don’t risk nothing in this moment and I guarantee next year at the same stage we will have the same problem so you have to try to to since the first moment uh we will have problems the players will be like confused sometimes but we have to address since this moment the new idea and try to be better in the next year at the same stage oh sorry me next y obviously you’re still getting to know the players but you’re also hoping for proper football intelligence from some of the players decision making is that is would that be a concern I think that is is a concern because you can understand you don’t need to to to to coach them because at this level level you have to keep the ball know the momentum of of to put the ball in front and you sometimes you feel that you can’t keep the ball and you put the ball in front then you have like uh we are in the end of the game you are rounding the box with two Strikers with just has to understand that he has to go to the box to to have the crosses so we are doing some things that not in the right moment so that is something that we have to address sometimes it’s not the all every every people talk about the 343 that is not the concern the system is a system but the understanding of the game I think we have to improve a lot in this area you you speak about the system and obviously it’s been the Talk of the Town since you arrived with this system but what have you seen from the players in this last week of training which has impressed you the most and what do you want to take forward from today’s game the most important thing again it’s hard to understand but they want they want this sometimes they don’t know how to get it that’s that was my feeling you can say that is three trainings if they are not excited at at the moment so we have a a big problem then you you you start discovering things I I I didn’t know I think Garner can hold the ball between lines you can understand that by seeing the the games because he always open so you you you try to find this this these things Bruno Fernandez I think he improved his game by playing near the near near the ball feeling the ball so he can give us like the sometimes the long pass but you you cannot put them there all the time because he want the long pass all the time so we try to find things about the the players and we we will need a lot of times a lot of time to to to work out these things Ed sharan’s come to join us Ed we’re just chatting to to Reuben amarim who may not want to talk to it was Big F but from an point of VI it was almost perfect so I Lov it I love being back so you you you feel it that in data but we have to to understand the data to see the data understand what happened in in the game first they have to understand the game then then we have to be to be so much better physically to cope with the high pressure the the the volume of the high speed running all these things but we we need time to to work this these things Ruben one of the things that start but we see the manager the pressure man united to to sporting chalk and cheese and they’ve been struggling for goals so far this this season look as as much as that may not have been the the cleanest of contact from from Amad dialo it was an early goal for for Manchester United and it did come from from that setup is that one of the positive that you were asking amarim about that he can take forward yeah without doubt and I think that this goal comes from design the way that they built out from the back you know we speak a lot in football about building from the back but there’s got to be a purpose and ultimately that’s the perfect goal because they’ve actually scored from you know a goal kick essentially and that is a benefit of that system and we’re not just talking about Ruben amam and you know coming to United and playing a 343 that other managers do play a 343 as well we’re just analyzing it a lot because it’s Manchester United but and also we hadn’t seen them by that point so we had to talk about something exactly exactly and we we needed to speak about the change that was going to occur because the new manager come in and there’s going to be change and we’re all fascinated by that but ultimately he would have been you know delighted with that start and it comes from exactly that they’re playing out they they direct they had Runners intensity but for some reason they just dropped off after that goal and they they reduced the intensity and then it showed in the game it’ be interesting to see as well when did this system going forward whether you will have the whereever the two like do and ammed will be obviously Ahmad is left footed and DOW is predominantly right footed whether he wants to go that way or whether he’ want to go with left footed Wing back or a right footed Wing backer make it more of a natural thing obviously with the way the games progress normally your Wingers it’s better because they come inside but then you have fullbacks overlapping them so unless you get one of your three center backs coming out overlapping I don’t know how that’s quite going to work so that’s going to be something we’re only going to see as a personel changes and what he gets in his place there’s going to be other players that he’s going to look at and give him an opportunities one thing I really like that he said there which was really important the good thing is is no he has to start now straight away because if he waits and maybe says oh this team’s been playing with a back four and he has six months doing them they’re not going to change so he might as well work on it now and and we have to accept that there’s going to be some highs some lows it’s not always going to be perfect so I think that was the most sensible thing I took certainly from that conversation ideal yeah he has to go over the way he wants to go again people say oh you need a preseason no no you you learn you you learn at weekends how tough it’s going to be because un night have been so poor anyway so that’s that’s if that’s what he believes in then go with it obviously well if fan had stayed with us for a couple of minutes longer we would have showed him the IPS which equalizer which I’m sure he would have wanted to see might
