M before we come on to talking about where he ranks in terms of other highly successful Premier League managers does does he get the credit he deserves a city because people point the finger that they’ve had all this money to spend but then you can point that finger at United they haven’t delivered in recent years you can point that finger at Chelsea in terms of the money they’ve spent and haven’t delivered either in terms of what he’s delivered at City yes with the vast resources they have available does he get enough credit I I think so I think everybody appreciates him I think everybody thinks he’s a great manager I think we you can everybody can say all that and he’s had the money he’s had the pl it’s not that it’s the way they win it the way they play the EXP the the way they play football the way they pass and move the what you know he he’s always ahead of everybody else you know he brings in Canelo to play he plays him at left back brings him into Midfield make that extra man you know then everybody else starts doing it and then all of a sudden he stops doing that and starts bringing stones out the back and he starts playing in Midfield cuz if you’re bringing the fullback out all the time it leaves Gap so he’s always ahead of everybody else he’s giving everybody the thing of like you’ve got to catch us up he’s he always seems to be one step ahead ahead of everybody else and they all seem to do what he does after he’s already done it and then he moves on again so you know I he should get the credit because it’s not just with great players but he hasn’t played unbelievable football uh his record as what as the trophies Clinton 2.35 points per game is is the highest of any manager that we’ve ever seen in in the the Premier League and when you look at the the trophy Hall under guot at City you look at the impact that his playing style has had on other teams not just in the Premier League but beyond as well for you are we looking at the best Premier League manager ever oh that’s a good debate isn’t it it’s a tough one he he’s definitely up there because you can’t forget about Sir Alex Ferguson and arson venger when I was playing arson venger when he came to the Premier League he changed a lot he changed it we’re talking about pep style of football arson fer when he came to the Premier League he changed it and M made a good point earlier before we started they’re Invincible they went unbe that is fantastic for ARS veng so there’s different things at this precise moment yeah Pep Guardiola is the best because you’ve just said it there to M he spends a lot of money but it’s not easy spending that much money and winning titles and the style of football it’s not just the Premier League that again it it filters down to the championship league one League two even at conference you see teams trying to play out from the back and that is down to Pep Guardiola massively so yeah listen I think that’s a that’s a good debate there’ll be a few are are you saying he is you sitting on the fence different yeah difficult cuz Sir Alex I think it’s between you’re going to run out of pet no I won’t be no no don’t worry it no it will be it will be out Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola but I’m just going to go for Pep Guardiola there you go I’ll give you my answer now you you answer go on now you answer you answer go you answer yeah I I would I I would have to say pep guard yeah four on the four on four in a on a in a row and it’s the way they play yeah I I would go Pep Guardiola but what about Sue Sir Alex Ferguson 13 Premier League Trifles Trifles if it was Trifles we’re not even talking about him but he got plenty of he got plenty of trophies uh along the way I mean 38 in all we think about the young players he brought through the class of 99 yeah for you does he sit above or below Gua it’s such I think you could you could argue for for all of them couldn’t you it’s such a a tough sort of debate really and yes Sir Alex Ferguson what a an unbelievable manager he was that the way that he brought the that you through and and developed because I think when you think of the best managers in the world I always think of of course tactically they’re going to be very good they’re going to have those in-game changes that when a a manager does something they’re able to change and adapt all of the managers that we’ve mentioned can can do that the Improvement of players and the development of players but I probably would say Pep Guardiola just because of the you know four in a row they’re looking for for five in a row all the challenges that that get put in front of him seems to be able to to overcome and and tweak things like M was talking that the Tactical tweaks we see Grassroots football trying to play the pep gu so is it partly not it’s not just the trophies it it’s the influence he’s had Beyond city as well for you I think so yeah and I think Sir Alex Ferguson has has had an influence of course on on football arson Wenger had an influence like Clinton said when when he come into the league there’s so many managers that you could mention but I just think the Here and Now um You probably would have to say him and just it’s just that desire to keep going and and the way that he’s an absolute perfectionist and he instills that onto his players you can see that his players are like that they just want to keep winning and so it’s it’s it’s a tough one and like say there’d be an argument for you know for for everyone but probably at this moment in time you would say him where do you stand do you got plenty of time to think about it yeah no I have and I Echo everything that the the guys have said there and you can go back to our generation I looked to when I was a young kid growing up and Sir Alex Ferguson was the best of of that time but the game’s evolving all the time it’s still doing it now because you go to the championship and that’s down to Pep Guardiola when Pep Guardiola was was at Barcelona and they went to Bayern Munich and I was playing at that time and I’m thinking could Pep Guardiola do this in the Premier League could he come to all right I’ll say a Burnley night a Burnley on a on a Tuesday night when I never used to like going when it was called and windy and the pitches isn’t great could it do that not Stoke well Stoke as well you could put them in in quite a few as well but I just look he’s he’s done that he’s got Manchester City playing in that way but could soex Ferguson have done that you evolved with the time so these people you can go back to dagle shankley Busby all these people of time it’s all about your Generations my Generations is it has to be be Guardiola because I think he set the bar he set the standard he set the philosophy and people have followed people want to be like him and people trying to imp implement the way he has his teams playing so we’ve gone everyone’s gone pep everyone’s gone pep Chang in the end everyone’s gone pep
