oh today just gets worse Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the table they play some brilliant football winning 63 on top of obviously what happened at Bournemouth early today it’s not been my day especially seeing how good Liverpool were particularly in that first half Four Points clear obviously with a game in hand they could go seven points clear of Chelsea with better goal difference which is basically eight and I don’t like to say this but I think Liverpool are comfortable the best team in the league they’ve played the best football I think they are the best team in the league I think Chelsea have played some really good stuff but they just lacked that Cutting Edge versus Everton today Arsenal could lose out on sacka and city is just is it’s just awful City I think Liverpool are going to win it and I hate that but it’s Christmas their Four Points clear a game in hand you never know they could drop off but they just look Unstoppable right now and while Liverpool was so dominant but particularly that first half performance I thought they were excellent until the last 20 minutes maybe the subs maybe taking the foot off the gas but they came out so electric so fast part of me did for an because his Squad is decimated four of his first choice back five was missing an went and put his strongest lineup against man united on Thursday only three days ago Liverpool got the extra days rest and they rotated about eight players and you could see in those first 20 minutes Liverpool were fresh they were running top the right and then part me felt sorry for an but then the other part me said this is Liverpool they’re the best team in the league right now they got the most inform attack and you are giving them that much space you cannot be giving Salah that much space sasai was incredible in terms of his movement his third man runs to exploit the space but you know I I captain Sal in FPL this week because I just thought Tottenham they play quite an open game and that’s the worst thing you can do versus Liverpool you’ve got to par the bus because that Liverpool side Diaz gapo um Salah in terms of exploiting space players like soas that can kind of um just move almost creates space in his third man runs and you know Liverpool had a 4.46 XG 24 Shots they came at Tottenham and yes Tottenham were decimated and I feel a bit for an because of the injuries that that Tottenham have and the players missing and the fact that they couldn’t really rotate much against Man United and had to go full strength but it was very obvious that the Tottenham score was just knackered it was just exhausted whereas Liverpool had that energy from the rest midweek rest um but you cannot be giving Liverpool that much space an you just can’t nine big chances Liverpool had today do you know what’s annoying is Liverpool’s XG today was double the XG when they put seven past man united they just like to be clinical when they play Man United it’s really annoying um but they they had nine big chances today Salah could have had a hattick um and that not doesn’t just come from the attack Salah and Diaz were excellent I’m going to talk about them but a lot of this came from the Midfield because I said Spurs could cause Liverpool problems and the reason I said Spurs could cause Liverpool problems before this game is because saw is very energetic and he can run and run and run um koses is fantastic player Madison’s good player obviously they don’t have benon car and a pursuer is good on his day he is good and I said you know there’s energy and there’s legs in the Midfield it can make Liverpool run but I think they were just exhausted from the United game particularly s basuma because they normally really can out run and outwork you that I thought maybe it’ be difficult for Liverpool because of the energy Tottenham have in Midfield but because the Midfield grenberg and SAS stand outs but mallister did well controlled that game and and and swarmed and they did so well and I think slot played a bit of a 4 to4 at times with the false NES and stuff it’s quite interesting what slot did and Slot seems to play different tactics every game and he adapts and he makes tweaks to formations Liverpool controlled that Midfield and I think that’s why they created the nine chances as good as the front three was today and you can see just the attacking numbers as it goes out throughout the game I thought the control they had in Midfield just meant that Liverpool were attack and attacking and they were moving the ball so quickly and what I mean by that is sasai who was playing in a more very very Advance role today his third man runs his movement was drawing out players he was opening up space he was using his athleticism to run into space the ground he was covering winning back the ball the work of the Midfield Graber just being so technically good playing deeper breaking the lines progressing play was again exploiting and opening up spaces and I felt that Liverpool were just creating so many chances and I thought SZ and stas were probably my stand outs I think all three of them could have been man of the match I thought Trent was excellent with his passing I thought Graber was fantastic and I thought that Joe Gomez had a good game now you might disagree with me on that I think Liverpool did concede three goals but I thought that it I thought Joe Gman had a better game than Sal today but we got to talk about Salah is Salah the best player in the world right now that that’s the question I I can’t think of anybody right now that’s had a better season than Salah I think renberg in terms of Liverpool he’s been unbelievable but Salah just gets the goals he gets the assists he does the fancy work you know Palmer’s excellent but it’s not been on salah’s level mbappe’s obviously just not really delivered this season 15 goals and 11 assists for Salah and the first player in premier league history to reach double figures for both goals and assists Before Christmas in the single season which is an absolute joke 26 goal contributions before Christmas I believe 33 in all competitions like that’s not normal that is not normal he’s on track for like 66 goal contributions it was said um this is the sixth Premier League season in which Muhammad Salah has both scored and assists 10 plus goals the most of any player in the competition history overtaking Wayne Rooney’s five so he now becomes the first play premier league history hit double figures for both goals and assists for six seasons I think he’s been is this his seventh or eighth season at Liverpool meaning he’s almost done it every season at Liverpool the consistency of this player is a joke and today he was unbelievable three key passes two assists two goals seven shots I think he could have had a hatrick today I think the biggest criticism of Salah was he missed he missed the chance I think he could have put away um but he was unbelievable his movement he gets in the right eras at the right times goals his all around play was was really really good today he’s more of a poacher he was there with the goals making the assists but he was getting the ball and he was dangerous and he was exploiting the space and he was just fantastic and he’s been fantastic this season I don’t like it and I don’t understand how he’s not been given a new contract I I I honestly I can’t get my head over what Liverpool are doing there because he is just unreal what I’ve just realized is my microphone wasn’t plugged in my microphone wasn’t plugged in so I’ve just plugged it in now so I’m really hoping the audio wasn’t bad to begin with in this video I will watch it back before I upload uh but seven shots five take on three chances created two big chances created two assists two goals he’s an output machine you know he’s not as aesthetically pleasing as yet Eden Hazard with his dribbling and his movement but the output that he has is an absolute joke you can be as aesthetically pleasing or as brilliant as you want but at the end of the day outputs what wins you titles what you need every team needs an output player you know aesthetically pleasing players that help all around play really important you need loads of them but every team needs a gamewinner and output player and that Muhammad Salah is that guy and yeah 26 goal contributions in the league 33 in all competitions I believe is is ridiculous and he does it against the big sides did it against City he did it against United he always shows up go and assist versus City go and assist versus Chelsea go and two assists versus United two goals and two assists versus Spurs gold versus Arsenal every single big game he has showed up in and that’s all you can ask for your big player players is to show up in the big games you see de bruyne in the UCL finals and big games for City he’s not done what salah’s done in the big games um I want to share my general thoughts on the match today I thought tottenham’s Squad was just decimated I Had A Bit of Sympathy for them they were just exhausted and it made it easier for Liverpool but they can’t be giving Liverpool that much space Liverpool were more fresh they I thought I think Salah had about five shots in the first 30 minutes of the game I thought Liverpool were just thriving they were given space to attacking and Spurs just allowed them that Spurs just allowed them that and I thought the first 45 minutes in particular was a very dominant performance by the mallister mistake which was very you know you know that shouldn’t happen normally it was completely dominant and it was a commanding performance where I thought that SP if I was a Spurs fan I’d be fuman I’d also think that actually there’s just a golfing class between the two teams you look at the two lineups there is a golfing class but the way that Liverpool played Tottenham off the park in the first 45 minutes I can imagine why the Spurs fans were not happy of course clear goal from class one has a better Squad but the performance from Liverpool was ridiculously good and I thought s was probably M of the match in the first 45 minutes I thought the movement and I think he’s been really good the last four or five games he really stepped up in that Manchester City game and I remember a month or two ago I was seeing a lot of negativity around SAS he was getting a lot of hate a lot of stick um but he’s really stepped up maybe being benched for for um Curtis Jones and the competition there made him um Step Up he was been AB he’s been absolutely phenomenal um I think just yeah across the board Liverpool defensively I think Robertson’s a liability van dijk probably didn’t have his best game but he’s van dijk at the end of the day um you could argue maybe Eno could have gone on just because of resting players and how good he was midweek um but I thought that you know in the Midfield they controlled it the attack they were clinical defense they were a little bit getable but it was more sloppy errors and sadly Liverpool do look like the best team in the league I just don’t I thought maybe AR could catch them maybe they’ll drop off but I just think after what I’ve seen this week and hate saying this as a man united fan but I don’t I don’t think anyone’s going to catch Liverpool um I don’t I know Tottenham grew into the game the last 20 minutes um and they looked a lot better but I just don’t think any was to catching Liverpool um Dominic s SL was another player that stood out to me six out of eight Jules won five recoveries two chances created 100% tackle success rate 100% dribble success rate and a goal and assist he was phenomenal six out of eight Jules five recoveries the press the work rate he does is phenomenal and I think because sasl is someone that a lot of his workers off the ball not on the ball I think it goes under the radar a bit more but he’s one of the most unselfish players of sin I think he had been shaky at the start of the season but I just think his pressing and his movement today um his ability to exploit space pick out teammates with passing but it was his ground coverage you’re playing Tottenham they’re giving you space he’s covering the space he’s creating the space he’s exploiting the space that is given he’s using his physicality and athleticism to his Advantage he’s making those thirman runs he’s driving into the space he’s getting the ball he’s moving it quickly and he was making it very difficult for Spurs to defend against you cannot play a high line when you’ve got someone like sde driving making those third man runs uh he was fantastic today and he knows he’s a physical player he knows he’s a ground Runner he knows he’s a workos and he used that today and I think Spurs struggled with that physicality thought he was good on the ball I thought his passing was sharp and I think you know he was almost in this 42 a four Triple Two shape up with Diaz and I felt that that press was making it difficult and I think not having Romero who’s so good at playing out on the from the back and having maybe drason that is a little bit more vulnerable and they probably saw what happened when Spurs tried to play out from the backat versus United with frasa fer and dragon having those two in the workhorses I think Diaz and soas are probably the two biggest workhorses in that Liverpool side pressing Tottenham making it difficult for them really did cause Tottenham some issues there I thought Graber again was fantastic I don’t think Grabber has had a bad game for Liverpool this season um wasn’t in my man of the match contenders which is a bit of shock but I I think that di Salah probably soide with the main three but I thought gra but could aru be there he creates the chance he does his dribbles he wins his tackles he intercepts the ball but it was just all round performance in Midfield he was dominant he allowed Liverpool to set the tempo of the game set control and I think the energy and the legs and the ground coverage you know Spurs were depleted Spurs were exhausted and I think that’s what pinned Spurs back particularly in that first half as well I thought graen but was really good and then of course Trent Alexander Arnold four chances created against Tottenham more than any other player on the pitch all four from open plate as well and two of them are big chances but I think that assist you got first goal of the game that ball was Prime Trent that is what Trent is about and that was absolutely fantastic and I think he’s been better defensively recently Trent as well I’ve said that a few times I think he’s got better defensively this season I know he didn’t have his best game versus Fulham but I do think he’s improved defensively I think Liverpool if they want to win the league I think they need to go out and look at kirz or Robinson and get that left back because I think that uh Andy Robin Robertson is just a slight liability I think you know he’s just a little bit getable on that side as well but listen people let me know your thoughts down below I have to say it was an entertaining game it was an entertaining game but um I was hoping Spurs were going to take some points off Liverpool um but seeing that performance I am pretty worried that Liverpool are going to win the league they just look very very good and I think they just had it was men versus boys they had that quality on the pitch that Spurs couldn’t match but let me know your thoughts down below thank you for watching bye
