[Music] because I have to give my weekly New York Jets rant um the look Ahad here against the Jags they were a three-point favorite 39 and a half the total little early money on the over pushed it to 40 and a half not much on the side kind of hovering between three and three and a half uh the Jets lost last week we just mentioned of course the Dolphins beat him how did the Jets lose well the game was tied 23 all the Jets had first and 10 at the Miami 27 yd line with a minute and 14 seconds left at that point the Jets had an 80% win probability in the game first down run for minus five second down sack then instead of running it on third down and guaranteeing another 30 seconds off the clock Aaron Rogers decided to change the play at the line of scrimmage they called a pass to Devonte Adams who caught the ball and then got pushed out of bounds so of course instead of uh 22 seconds left when the Jets kicked the field goal there was 52 seconds left they made the field goal and then they allowed a 45 yd kick return which set the Dolphins up for easy field position they tied it on a late field goal and then of course won the game in overtime Comedy of Errors for the Jets to lose that game but that’s why they’re three and 10 this year Jaguars fought last week guys they were a dog against the Titans three-point Road dog won the game outright so tenness or so Jacksonville you know fighting at least for Doug Peterson and I just don’t have anything more to say positively about the Jets they are an absolute train wreck and this is going to be a big game and determining the draft order Chris do you want to start us off here um yeah I’m going to go I’m going to live bet the Jets actually uh minus three um I I somehow some way the Jets are are you know just underachieving on results they they do a lot of things well they they’ve won games on the box scor handedly and and came away with the loss and uh the Jaguars don’t have a lot of incentive here uh you know they’re running out the clock themselves and and the Jets I I think are as inept as they’ve shown they’re at least trying so uh my my numbers like the Jets I’m going with the Jets here my numbers make the game three and a half so they agree with laying three but I refuse to do so back to that uh coaching it’s not complicated you have to run the ball and you can’t lose yardage so you trick them you trick them you put out four wide receivers you act like you’re in a two-minute drill you fool the defense and then you have three straight counter plays up the Middle where you get stuffed and you gain a couple yards and then you kick your 44 yard field goal there’s 20 seconds left and you win but as soon as they lose the five yards now and then they get sacked now they got to throw the ball down the field and here’s a team that’s not invested Devonte Adams get your butt down on the ground nah I’ll just amble out of bounds what difference could thir 38 seconds possibly make on the outcome of a game it’s just a train wreck across the board with teams with players that are making business decisions no thank you business decisions being made by the Jets and again the Jaguars I know the Titans stink but M Jones despite two interceptions last week actually finished 17th out of 27 qualifying quarterbacks in EPA per dropback so despite throwing two picks he actually was not the worst and not even frankly in the bottom 10 of quarterback performances last week in terms of the analytics and the Jags lost that game or lost the turnover margin in that game uh minus two and they still won the game so I I think Jacksonville is actually showing more fight than the Jets are frankly um we’ll see the Jets should win this game by two touchdowns easily based on Talent alone but that’s not the case Chris you’re a braver man than I laying it with the Jets here um on the live bet minus three I I I cannot touch this Jets team at all but yes absolutely they should win this game Fez agrees but we just can’t touch the Jets [Music] a [Music]
