yeah a contusion leg leg contusion tough as they come Warrior what was your what was your message team after that uh reminded of uh sir Andrew Barton uh fight on my men sir Andrew said I’m a little wounded but not slain I’ll lay down and bleed a while and we’ll rise and fight again particular frating play the no just no it was uh two uh two really good teams nothing but respect for the the Chiefs the way they play uh you know their physicality they their confidence uh you know their belief in in uh the system and each other um you know we were we were uh we were trying to better that in all in all three of those uh all four of those areas and uh yeah came up uh two points short of that um so how do you feel like the defense play contain them for most finish the game on off yeah um it was it was a battle two uh you know it was a football fight you know both sides uh you know I thought uh defense played you know quitting themselves really well I mean uh once again Red Zone you know getting to uh getting uh getting pressure getting stops getting three and outs uh you know just um I thought they played well the third and seven at the end there that they were able to convert what were you guys anticipating there as far as what they were going to call and were you surpris all that they decided to throw uh no we no I mean that’s uh I think we were we thought thought it was likely that was Jesse had uh yeah we predicted a couple of those the roll pass early um but this executed yeah it wasn’t wasn’t wasn’t a surprise or a shock you like for the receiver group without tonight uh well uh Quinton Johnson just um just tough as Nails game I mean uh catching the ball in traffic contested contested catches uh getting open took the took the big hit to the Head uh um kept kept the football I mean just down after down ran good with the ball after catch I mean uh yeah just guys came to play I mean uh Quinton Johnson came to play uh Josh Palmer uh DJ shark uh you know the really the whole football team um and it was uh it was a it was a football fight you know for four quarters uh we’re just we’re just battling doing uh doing our best uh and then you know what get better um but uh you know sure no quit I I’m I’m uh I like I love that about our team do you thinkes does any of the the offenses struggles concern you at all second half first Atlant of strg at that at all second half was I mean outstanding we pretty much flipped the flipped the uh the script in the second half our offense um you know had a had a had a great second half first half yeah there’s some penalties we got behind the sticks uh you know a few too many times that stopped drives but uh yeah we just keep keep working and uh you know getting better that’s but I you know what more can the coach ask guys are guys are uh you know giving it their very best and and they’re also working to get better every day too there’s uh that’s that’s in place so that’s all uh that’s all I can ask our guys to do coach what is what are the the biggest lessons you take away from the two match ups with Kansas City uh I don’t I don’t I don’t know that I have the biggest the biggest one or the biggest two lessons uh you know respect respect uh a lot of respect respect for the Chiefs for Andy Reid I think he’s uh he’s uh he’s the best and um you know we’ll just keep keep working and uh like I said earlier you know we’ll this one hurts we’ll lay down and bleed bed for a little while not long and then we’ll rise and fight again the uh the kickoff before their final drive obviously C must have M there but what what was the plan what were you guys trying to do in that situation yeah he just hit a little bit high high on the ball yeah rare rare mistake were you guys I me were trying to get him kick Landing zone so you could try and pin them as oppos to kicking through the end zone yeah we’re trying to kick it to the to the goal line how did you feel Stone smart play yeah really good yeah man felt he played really good uh came up with some clutch plays um really really happy uh happy for stone uh uh couple contestant catches big Downs I mean uh converted conversions so uh you know some some real good things to build on there for stone did you guys adjust anything significantly first half to second half or you feel like it was more just executing better yeah made made some adjustments and uh I think the biggest difference was you know staying uh staying ahead of the sticks and and uh and um you know efficient you know being efficient with the with the Run got a fishing with the Run fishing passes uh conversions and um and eliminated the penalties the offensive penalties they were bogging us down in the first half as far as the the rush plan against momes like contained him for the entire game until that scramble in the end is how’ you feel about the rush not necessarily getting there you guys I thought it was good I mean the there was good pressure there we hit some uh you know some stops some sacks some hurries uh you know the pressures were were good um yeah he gets he got out a couple times you know he’s uh uh but yeah it’s the best you can do you know is uh try to contain him
