hey welcome on in guys toin here with you and thanks for checking out the channel hope everybody’s doing fantastic out there boy what a busy day it was huh with myami Heat news Galore uh National landscape you know it was funny I was just talking about this on the last video that I did on how the powers at be at ESPN just so happened to put out a uh segment where they’re talking about fake Warriors trades and lo and behold who arrives on the door first step with some rekindled Jimmy Butler th but one sham shiria who comes out and reports that the Miami Heat are basically open to listening to Jimmy Butler offers I mean here’s the thing it it it gets very very heavy stuff nationally because you talking about the number one NBA Insider and he’s throwing it out there basically like this is new even though it’s not new like it is all kind of drama and even the teams that he throws out there are not teams we haven’t heard of like there there hasn’t been a new team that’s popped up and so even when I was reading this today it’s not that I don’t believe Shams it’s just I’m trying to grasp the urgency of like is this anything that feels like it’s going to happen anytime soon and I would say with the way the heat are playing basketball right now my initial inclination would be no and especially here in the tone of Eric spoler today um especially the way that he ended his press conference today which I kind of want to spend a whole another video on but um you know for those who didn’t see Shams reported that both uh he was talking about Butler and and Brandon Ingram and their trade deadlines and all that stuff so here’s the stuff that he reports on Jimmy Butler he says the heat are open to uh the heat are open to listening to offers for Butler and making a deal the proposal is Right League sources tell ESPN Butler’s agent Bernie Lee has indicated in League circles that Butler is open to destinations in uh such as the two Texas teams the Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks and the gold State Warriors Butler’s a native of Houston and above all he is believed to prefer a win now title contender in any trade which uh what was it the other report that came out over the summer was Brooklyn right just because they were nice to uh Bernie Lee’s other client the uh um Ben Simmons you know and that that seems I guess this this would run you know counter to that BS Houston we all know that um let’s see it says the Heat have hovered around the playing tournament and with Butler’s contractual status they have been open-minded to trade inquiries Butler’s been professional throughout the season by all counts and has an affinity for Miami where even opened up his first big face coffee shop in the Design District so that’s the stuff from Jimmy uh that that came from the national landscape he had some reporting added on today from the Miami Herold um that basically I guess put some put some eyes and teas on it uh Jimmy Butler it says uh this is from Barry Jackson and Anthony Chang Jimmy Butler has not asked to be traded and the heat are not aggressively shopping him but Miami is now listening to offers and is open to trading him for an offer that deems appealing enough sham serani reported on Tuesday the heat which sometimes publicly denies trade reports declined to comment on the ESPN report Butler’s agent Bernie Lee also declined to comment Butler declined to interview uh after Tuesday’s practice which Jimmy doesn’t talk after practice that often so that’s not that unheard of um especially if they have back-to-back practices so if he does it again and they’re all requesting it maybe you could look into that you know if if they’re all huming Tyler was the only player to speak today after practice I believe as far as a group setting and it did look like there were a lot of cameras there um but Butler just just to let everybody know Butler does not speak after practice a lot and the way it kind of works with practice a lot of the times because there’s not always a huge media contingency covering practice a lot of the times you can just get guys one-onone or the side and then they’ll ask it I think if it’s like multiple people are asking or enough people are asking then they’ll bring somebody to a group setting and that’s kind of how that works but guys can always say no it’s not like they’re required especially if they speak after games um I think only if you dip out after games so many times that’s where it actually becomes an issue but Jimmy’s been pretty available to the media this year um certainly I would say more so than in previous Seasons when they talk about uh the professionalism and the way that he’s handled things I definitely think playing the back to backs that element uh all that stff yeah I would definitely say that there’s definitely been an effort from Jimmy to uh not ruffle any feathers in that regard so I do feel like there has been a lot of mutual respect in all of this I think if people are are feeling I just want to get this if there are Heat fans feeling like it’s a frosty environment in the heat locker room or it’s it’s really not and Tyler hero actually made this point today to reporters when he was asked about this and he he said today that uh Vibes are great obviously you get to a point in trade season where players are going to be mentioned there was some speculation out there I’m sure you’re aware of Jimmy buckler today ESPN reported I’m just curious I didn’t know that you get to trade speculation season how do you guys inside internalize that and not let that impact obviously you know you’re familiar with that having dealt with it for years yeah I didn’t know that whatever you I got to check my phone still this morning um I didn’t know what was said uh but the Vibes felt good been here today so I don’t know I don’t know I don’t know what you’re talking about so and to be fair like Vibes have kind of felt great around the team all year and I would say you know out of all the years it’s not like the best but it’s also definitely not like the most bogus it’s been it’s like they were joking around the other night uh the whole team was was remember that the clip that went viral about Terry roier going after the rebounds and everybody’s oh my God Terry like dude they busting balls about that in the locker room afterwards um you know for for a few minutes everybody was having fun with that Jimmy was shooting the bleep with Bam Bam was shooting the bleep with Terry then bam comes back around while Terry’s doing his media um so yeah I would say The Vibes have been really I mean obviously winning always helps but they you know they’ve been playing better basketball so yeah that is uh so there’s that and then there’s some stuff from uh there’s stuff from SPO we’ll get to here in just a second um the other thing in the reporting Wise from the Miami Herold they say a source of direct knowledge said the heat is not concerned about the possibility of losing Butler in free agency if it comes to that partly because there’s no Contender with c space to sign Butler outright with the heat uh without the Heat’s help of a sign and trade which is true um and this is all stuff we’ve all been over and that’s kind of one of the things like we’ve covered all of this stuff but when it comes to the National landscape um it’s frustrating right now because because the heat are playing really good ball and now we’re throwing the Jimmy Butler thing and I don’t really I feel I almost felt like it was more on the back burner than it’s ever been and then it’s like you put Sha’s name next to it and it becomes a thing again like oh my God Jimmy Butler’s out the door oh the war like just because the Warriors want to trade for a star doesn’t mean they’re entitled to anybody helping them get a star like they were talking today about like LeBron and Steph teaming up because all the Lakers are open to doing a trade and I hate to look like I I I’m not saying this stuff isn’t true because there’s obviously truth in it but when you report stuff like it’s new and you put it out there like it’s new and then you got to ask about this stuff like it’s new um even though I don’t deny it it’s not like I feel like Pat Riley’s Fielding calls today like this you know waiting for the Warriors to call waiting for the Rockets to call waiting for the like he’s like this isn’t going to put the ball Mo because if anything I highly doubt the heat leaked this to Shams I doubt that I doubt it very much um just like all the Jimmy Philly stuff I feel like myy was behind that this summer um so it’s not that if things go arai and the heat really suck and they or somebody gets hurt if Tyler and Bam go down and it’s time to just wave the white flag on it okay I understand that but I I’ve been under the impression that the heat are kind of last dancing this and that they’re GNA go into this try and Trigger some things figure some things out they now have a starting lineup that works really well together um and this is even with some of their young guys not really I think maybe ascending the way that they had hoped but Tyler hero is playing like an All-Star bamat bio is finding his way now certainly the team is playing great on both ends and Jimmy Butler’s been good like Jimmy Butler has been Rock Solid Jimmy Butler has not you know I think everybody kind of came into this oh career year Jimmy like I didn’t think that I I never thought that with this like I thought Jimmy Butler was going to be Jimmy Butler like we’ve all watched him for six years as Heat fans you didn’t know like hey there was going to be some bumps and bruises along the way and you know in some key moments just like you did against the Suns oh was Jimmy Butler that not there to close that puppy out he certainly was um and I think I’ve made my my point on this but for people who are new to this channel who just want to hear my point on it I was for giving Jimmy but the original extension Jimmy Butler for those who missed it this summer wanted basically an extra year added on so Jimmy Butler has a an option year for next year that’s over 50 million and then he wanted another year that basically would have been right under 60 I think and that’s what he wanted and the heat were like no then there was this whole thing about the playing the games and apparently it’s never been said out of the mouth of Jimmy or representation but it’s been reported by multiple parties locally and then win and then it’s even been quoted like Jimmy’s agent has been quoted in those stories um and it’s also been reported by Shams as it was on um D night and you know I think there’s a thing where people like oh Jimmy’s agent hate Shams because they’ve gone back and forth on Twitter I do think Jimmy’s agent has a little bit of Jimmy to him in the theatrics of trolling on Twitter so I wouldn’t read too much into that um you could like you can notice that in in other reporters he messes around with that I don’t feel like you would think like oh he hates that guy and I don’t think that he hates that guy so um as far as the like so I’m not so getting back to it I was for giving Jimmy the extension the one year but it all was kind of Moot and then it was like well then he’s going to come back and he’s going to want a multi- multi-year extension I’m like all right well that’s going to get to the point where he’s almost 40 and then like what does that look like um if he wins the championship then okay I think you’re drunk ah whatever you want but if he doesn’t then if he’s true to his word which I do think Jimmy Butler is a man of principle I think more so than I think a lot of other stars who would just want to kind of have their cake and eat it too um I think that I did I did believe that this could possibly be a last year but my Hope was with a a team that didn’t really have the only drama they could have over them this year was him and he kind of squashed it right out of the gate he showed up to Media day professional as the S said he’s been a professional around the team he has tried to play as many games possible but he still missed five because Jimmy hey guys Jimmy Butler plays hard he gets banged up everybody thinks that he coachs all the time and yeah there are times where you can see it but I think Jimmy Butler plays a pretty physical style he plays a rugged style and he gets banged up but he gets banged up he’s been getting banged up his entire career and missing games his entire career especially like since he got to like 27 28 that’s what happened I didn’t have this illusion that Jimmy Butler was going to play 75 games this year I don’t care I usually say like hey manage it right have him ready for the dance if it’s Raptors Hornets Wizards backto back front end I’m cool with Jimmy Butler taking those days off why you know like people have gotten a little crazy with this stuff and and and going completely against load management but I think this guy gets legitimately hurt I think you if you like watch the Netflix documentary where he’s like why do you want me to play if I don’t feel good you’ve seen Jimmy Butler this year like try and play a game he physically doesn’t feel right he looks like a zombie I don’t understand why people just want him out there for those games especially like against the Hornets of the world no offense so but the thing that is the payoff for him and people will be like well then why would you extend him because the payoff is he’s one of the best postseason performers in the mother bleeping League that’s the payoff it’s a Gamble and they did he buy into that too much last year and did the team buy hope into that too much and make desperate rier trades because of it yes they did yes they did undeniable the heat were too much banking on Jimmy going Super Saiyan turning into playoff Jimmy again and that was going to save the day and unfortunately Kelly UB the knee boom wasn’t able to make the postseason and would they even handled it the way that team was so injured no no Duncan no roier haime going out all the injuries that they had on top of Jimmy H probably not but are they better suited now I there’s something about them dude I I don’t know they do have a go you talk about Golden State like they have kind of a golden state thing going on right now Tyler is their Steph I know he’s not Steph don’t take that out of but he’s playing like their Steph Duncan Robinson’s their clay bam is doing their Draymond thing and Jimmy is now like the thing that the Warriors want they want the extra piece Haywood’s doing all the the stuff that they can they have excellent you know guys on the role and gez if they get any of these young guys that spoke in trust man they could really have something but I almost feel like the he are in a spot where it’s like you know you add the right kind of backup B like you do what Dallas did last year I think that he could be in a really good spot is it enough to catch Boston I don’t know Boston’s a juggernaut you got to acknowledge it but the heat do have their B do have Boston’s Boogeyman and you want to know who that is Jimmy Butler like if there was a guy you think that Golden State would want why do you think that would be because they probably think they’re going to play Boston and who is the number one arch nemesis of Boston Jimmy Butler and I’ve said for many years how jealous I am of the Warriors I’m jealous that they got stephh Curry to always play through and he never left like dwade did I’m jealous that he got a fourth ring dwade never did I’m jealous that they were able to go get Kevin Durant I’m jealous that they’ve been able to do some of the things that he’d have tried to do but just haven’t been able to do since the big three era they got Jimmy and they’ve gotten close and the thing is they’ve gotten close but they but the Warriors always feel like Warriors like they’re just ahead like that that you know you buy you you you buy a lawn they buy a a push they they buy a riding tractor you know you buy a hot tub they have a a an inground pool you know like it’s the like they’re the Joneses they always have to one up you that’s what it feels like and so for Jimmy to go there I’m like I guarantee he goes there he’s going to win the championship I bet I bet anything he would I’m not ready to give up on that dude this guy has given too much to this organization he’s given too many good memories he’s dragged a really imperfect roster far and now forget the star stuff you have all they’ve been waiting for is for Tyler to play like this all that pursuit of Damen Lillard and and and Donovan Mitchell has all led to because you wanted Tyler herro to be this kind of wingman for him if he can stay healthy and Tyler herro plays like this are you really going to count them out I I I don’t know I don’t know if I’m ready to let that walk I don’t think I am in fact I know I’m not and I you know I said that I’m not open to trading him on Twitter I think most of the response that I’ve gotten from Heat fans I’m like yeah I think most most Heat fans want to ride it till the wheels fall off maybe the wheels are maybe the wheels are already squeaking off the axle and there are others who are like he’s washed he’s retire retire already get what you can for him I I get it if I was running a front office I understand you got to talk about The Prudent thing to do um and if somebody came with like you know uh what what is it I think uh Barry put it in this article or Anthony put in this article um on the teams who could trade picks right [Music] the Warriors have three tradeable first round picks Dallas and the Lakers have two the 76ers have four Houston has five let’s just say Houston offered you you know Green Thompson whatever the salary is and three first round picks do you have to talk about of course because then the heat if they do really feel like this is over yeah well then they can pivot in the off season and they can get in the game for whoever the star is that wants to go but should that be an easy decision with with with all the moments Jimmy Butler has given you it’s kind of one of the things that’s cool about this team this year is the solutions are in the guys who have been here the longest Duncan bam Tyler and Jimmy with a Sprinkle of Haywood in there but even a guy like Drew Smith who’s been in the system it’s cool to see him flourish and so I guess my my C of this and I’ll get to SPO here in just a second is I I don’t want the heat to trade Jimmy Butler I want to ride it out till the summer that’s me um you know if if the heat end up doing it and they get a haul for him which I don’t think that they will with his age and contract status but let’s just say that they did let’s just say the Rockets were feeling frisky um you know will I be able to justify it yeah I can justify but I’m not going to like it I’m not going to like it Jimmy’s a very Jimmy is a special part of heat history he is there’s going to be when when you write the chapters of heat history you know there’s going to be there’s going to be the the early years Glenn rice and Ronnie cley there’s going to be the zo Timmy years there’s going to be the dwade era there’s going to be the dwade big three era there’s going to be the post big three era and then there’s going to be the Jimmy Butler era it’s his era and yeah I guess a lot of fans are I don’t know maybe you guys weren’t there for the 56o game but I was and it’s still some of the coolest memories that I have as a Heat fan here is uh Eric spol when I asked about this today as we get into speculation season even a report today obviously the league thrives on that kind of stuff what’s the messaging inside the room when another one comes out when something else com I didn’t mention anything just like I didn’t before I think the biggest message is uh the fact that we’re three and 0 right now this past week and the player that was uh r rored in so many trade speculations the last 3 years it seemed like every week that that player uh is still here and he was player of the week uh so that’s really the only thing I’m thinking about it’s it’s been our best most consistent stretch of the season um so anything else uh any other narrative uh I don’t care um you know nobody should because uh most of this stuff has this been all like a bunch of gibberish there you go then he went off to this other rant that I want to save for another video cuz I found it very interesting to how he closed that out it had nothing to do with trades by the way um but it’s it’s on a completely different topic of this but it also made me feel like oh this guy ain’t ready to fold he ain’t ready to fold um and I don’t think suppos ready to fold I don’t know about Pat Riley you know we about Pat Riley’s future you know you think Pat Riley’s like yeah my last year let it be known that I just I I folded and moved on to the next hand I don’t know I don’t know good week if a if a if a good if the he finish with a strong end of the month you know like let’s look at their let’s let’s let’s take a little looky L at what the he got coming up we know Thursday they got the Raptors then they got the uh the Pistons coming up then they got a good match up coming up against the Thunder at home couple Orlando matchups in Orlando has been even with their injuries has been froggy and Atlanta and there is a Houston matchup you know but it’s not the most dire schedule in the world and so if they heat are if they heat position themselves well if they if they like legitimately see themselves in that three four spot um who’s to say that they don’t see there’s some addition that they could make that that could uh that they feel like could really solidify them we’ll see um I don’t I think that this is a lot of noise it’s not it’s not unaccurate noise but I just think it’s almost microwave noise I don’t feel like this is a fresh recipe I feel like these are leftovers from the summer that are kind of getting thrown in there and Shams is like does anybody run to talk Jimmy Butler trades like thanks Shams appreciate it dude what is it it’s a Tuesday in the in early December trying to drw up some uh I mean they did do top 10 reverse dunks yesterday on on NBA today instead of talking about the Heap being and the Cavs so Lord knows why don’t they do just trade speculation today
