is Jude Bellingham with Micah and Alexandro after the game you you were the real guys now you the real guys Jude how was that difficult uh they played really well they have amazing weapons um difficult here difficult atmosphere to play him but um important that we we got the job done we needed them points so really important strong game from you guys but what do you think you you did more than Atlanta in term of winning the game I think we were clinical in the end we took our chance chances that came to us um we didn’t have loads but when they came we were pretty clinical in taking them and you know they probably had most of the ball but in areas that were a little bit more um comfortable for us and then when they did have shots on goal they were from far out and TBO could collect them comfortably but you know such a difficult game that they work so hard they’re so intense um they go One V one all over the pitch it’s difficult to play against but um it makes the win even better talk us for your goal the little drop drop on the shoulder I didn’t know where the ball was going so I had to duck I was waiting for it to just hit my back and everyone start booing me but um yeah luckily I managed to get one V one inside the box and um I thought he was waiting for me to go on to the right so I us the used the momentum just to come back on the left and then honestly I just swung swung anything at it and it went in and yeah really important goal and really important win for us tonight you’ve been in some really good form uh especially in La Liga you scored five and what your last five five games got winning the champions league tonight he was under a little bit of scrutiny because of the Season you had last last year as well and then not scoring but this season you’ve been absolutely since that sort of void period you’ve been back to your best would say yeah I think even before I was scoring goals it was frustrating for me because I felt like I was playing well but you know because of the expectations that I set myself and that I set last season I’m always wanting to you know affect the game with goals and assists as well you know it’s it’s something that you can I can away from and say oh it’s not important but you know it’s important that I do the rest of my job really well um but if I can score goals and make goals and directly influence the game then it makes me a lot more valuable to the team and uh that that’s all I want to be to be honest so now I’ve got that kind of the sniff back for it hopefully there’s there’s a few more coming now hopefully can I could you talk about your mentality as well because we know you got the ability you work hard technically good you score goals but your mentality seems to be top top where does that come from how professionally you top to you like it yeah it was very nice very um no I I think I’ve been raised by Good footballing People my parents and my friends keep me grounded and you know I think the amazing thing with football is there’s always more to do you know um we won a lot last season had a good year but um I’m I’m desperate for to do it um many times and many seasons over for this club you know I have the best people around me to push me in that way and uh yeah I just want to maximize my potential as much as possible I don’t know if it comes down to mentality or what but I just want to be there for my teammates and you know see what I can do in the game you played beside the goal that was amazing after that run you know having the Lucidity you know to to step over you played 90 minutes well and and comfortable you look you know much confident in what you do and everything what change before the beginning and now and how much can you and the team team move on because it seems that you have all of you not only you potential more things to that you can do yeah the potential is huge um I think you’re right when you say that I think we’re still only scratching the surface of what we can achieve as a team to be honest I still feel like this team has many levels to go um I think we do the outstanding things really well at times and then the fundamental things is what sometimes lets us down in in games like uh the previous Champions League games and stuff like that and obviously for me personally I think with the new team it’s a kind of a new era at the club and there was a lot of changing of positions to see where I could uh fit in and feel comfortable but I’ve always thought that as a player when I’m playing with freedom um that’s when I’m at my best and you know I’ve had meetings with Carlo and he’s he’s helped me find that freedom again and yeah I think I’m benefit benefiting as a as a result um you know we had a little uh was it bet you know I had to we a full Madrid you still still I did it I did it I full we the full Madrid kit and you’ve still not done the the mic celebration I’m waiting for it can we make another deal now can we yes so next time you score just do the M that’s all yeah for big me that’s all I need yeah deal yeah deal big for big please no yeah we talking about stop top 11 and you go and no I’ll go only once in the Champions League let’s talk about Real Madrid who did get a good result tonight as well 3-2 the final score against Atlanta for a while there you didn’t know which way that game was was going to end Jamie no you didn’t and for a lot of the time I think we felt atanta might go on and actually you know get something you know certainly when it was level at halftime but then it goes to 3-1 you think it might be comfortable for Real Madrid but again Atalanta come back and then you probably thinking Atlanta are going to get an equalized U and Real Madrid get the fourth goal so it was a really tight game but again Real Madrid are the Masters in this competition of getting over the line and getting the result at today and that was absolutely vital for them tonight yeah I mean I agree with uh what Jamie’s saying and what a result for Real Madrid when their backs are against the wall they need to get the three points and they’re able to make it happen um a little bit unlucky Atlanta on the second goal that deflected and went to Vinnie perfectly on stride and and finish but you asked what Real Madrid you were going to get tonight and you got a A team that found a way to to get the job done big players stepped up Bellingham Vinnie Jr I thought put in strong performances and just curious to see what’s what’s up with mbappe now that that’s the only negative on the night and they conceded two goals you talked about some of the the defensive shape that they had in other games and conceding more goals than they should but uh credit to atanta they kept fighting to the end and the two guys I talked about uh before the game they got goals for them they just they needed to get one more and they couldn’t get it make it happen so there we go you have uh the company of myself Terry James and Clint for the entire postgame show you also have the treat of the company of Micah and Micha this stage of of the show you’re always letting everybody know why should they stay around why should they stick with us do the same for us please yeah well I’m not going to do that because I’m not there I want people to come to us to get their interviews you’re on the show the only way they happened today as well and uh they had a great performance but uh if I was an Atlanta coach today I would clap for my players because they did an amazing amazing game I really liked Bellingham today I
