Duke lost another close game to a big opponent last night and you know this Kansas game could have been decided by a number of factors uh but one thing I wanted to take a look at since we’re earlyer on this season K can nipple has struggled shooting in some of these bigger games he did hit a few big threes against Arizona but in the Kentucky and the Kansas game his shot has not been falling so I thought it’d be a good idea to take some time and go through his 14 shot attempts plus the two times he was able to draw free throws in this game against Kansas so without further Ado we’re going to go in chronological order and then I’m going to let you guys know whether I think it’s a good shot a bad shot or an okay shot this first one I think is a is a good shot to a great shot unfortunately it doesn’t go in next one he gets pass har Dickinson this is a nice reverse layup he’s able to finish this one I think is just okay he he tries to get that bump and separation off of AJ store but is unable to really clear this is a a good shot as far as I’m concerned he’s pretty much wide open and now again good ball Movement by Duke he gets pretty much wide open in the corner a little bit of a contest there but I think that’s a good shot as well here it looks like it might be a good shot you see Zeke Mayo had gone into the paint a little bit but Khan’s release is not necessarily the fastest so by the time he’s starting to get this shot up this is a contested shot as far as I’m concerned this is a bad shot by KH kiple here he gets the the fast break layup good shot by kiple next play we’re going to see him get the ball in the corner and attack a smaller Dean Harris inside good shot by kiple this one he tries to drive the ball inside he’s contested it’s a little bit of a wild shot it’s a bad shot as far as I’m concerned here what I’m pausing it right here because you can see he is a little bit in Rhythm let’s go back actually let’s go back a little bit on this one so he gets it he’s in Rhythm it’s not the best shot I think it’s okay but I really like that he’s in Rhythm off the spin move this one he is wide open uh it does take a little bit to get to him I still like the shot though by nipple here he draws a foul okay I you know it was a little bit of a a touch foul there so you could argue it wasn’t the best this one let’s go back let’s go back a little bit so Cooper flag as they did a lot in the second half goes to set the on ball screen for Khan and it leaves because store tries to get under he is wide open and if this game had gone a little bit differently for Khan I would say this is a good shot but based off of how he’d been shooting the ball today to shoot a ball that’s beyond NBA 3 I I don’t think was a good shot here I think it’s maybe okay here again we’re going to see Cooper and Khan kind of work it and this one I really wish he would have kicked to Tyrese Proctor I think it’s an okay shot because the contest as we’ll get to in a second here by dwan Harris is kind of like a half effort contest he is trying to get back to Proctor but based off the way Proctor had been shooting this ball the ball in this game rather I think this should have been swung to Proctor for a better look lastly here he’s able to get the the free throw drawn um he had posted up on AJ thore there and was able to draw the contact nice aggressive move Mo by Khan his last shot of the game um was the the three at the buzzer which as far as I’m concerned is a good shot based off of the time and score no other options there so I had him as nine good shot attempts including the free throws five okay and two bad ones you can quibble with with a couple of them whether they should have been probably downgraded more than upgraded but overall I think he start off with good shots and as the game went on he started to take more bad and okay shots um maybe because of frustration as some of the early ones didn’t go in I think if he passed a little bit more on some of those bad and okay shots there were opportunities to find open kickouts to his teammates so let me know what you guys think about Khan’s shooting in this game versus Kansas
