Lakers pick up the win over the San Antonio Spurs balanced attack by the Lakers as Dalton connect gets the start seven Lakers in double figures dton gets 20 LeBron a triple double I thought big games off the bench by DLo and Max Christie very important minutes uh for those guys but the story James it’s got to be the defense JJ said it at halftime that’s where they’d been struggling during this losing streak they turned it around yeah they they had to uh after three losses in a roll and the Orlando loss was still you know you still taste that loss in your mouth the free throws but you know it’s early in the season and they had to get back on track Gater uh two you know bombs against Phoenix and Denver two good teams uh but the effort was there tonight I thought the third quarter uh San Antonio kind of got back in there a little bit but the Lakers were able to with the help of Christie and guys off the bench uh they were able to separate but they did it defensively tonight and that’s what they needed to continue to do uh for the rest of the season really but particularly on this trip James you and I were trying to figure out what JJ reic would do the starting lineup and you nailed it you said hey if you’re going to put Dalton with the starters cam goes back to the bench I was like no maybe not ruy with for you said no it’s got to be it’s got to be cam another great move by JJ reck saying okay this offense has really struggled especially in the third quarter the last couple games so what we need to do is is get the guy out there who’s been hot uh I I respect JJ for saying ru’s back from injury a couple games ago he’s not losing a starting spot just a great job by putting Dalton in there I don’t think he’s I think he’s there the rest of the year I don’t see how you can dislodge Dalton connect from that starting five he just adds a different element to the game four threes tonight as you mentioned 20 points boom offense looked great he plays well with that unit yes and for a young player who has that type of talent you got to find the right unit for him he can shoot but not as a great shooter with the second unit because it’s something about it it just doesn’t flow the same shots in come as easy so I think your right bra I think that’s a keeper uh coach vtis can always come in and apply the defense all right let’s go back to San Antonio dton connect is with Mike trell all right Dalton connect a tough loss for you guys last night get in super late you find out you’re going to be in the starting lineup and you come out hot what was that like for you mentally just getting right back on the court and trying to erase the feeling from the loss uh just have a shortterm memory going out there uh you know we got a lot of games this season we have 82 plus more in the playoffs so we know we got to come out uh and just forget the past pretty much you know JJ has told us that he’s confident you’re going to play the same way whether you’re starting whether you’re coming off the bench but what was that message from him and the coaching staff about what they were looking for with this change today um pretty much he told me is I’m going to start and just be you just go out there be aggressive shoot the ball and you know uh whether he said that or not I was going to go do that D you guys had some good contributions from the bench tonight I think about Max Christie DLo what they were able to bring what did you see from those guys yeah they came up big Off the Bench uh you know those two came in was was ready and uh not only just the scoring but they came in and Sh uh put a lot of effort on the defensive end and came out with a lot of energy so you know those helped us to get the win today you know I know you pride yourself on being a three LEL score we saw the threes we saw floater we saw a couple of when they attacked you or to came to close out you attacked the close out got to the rim and finished I I know that’s part of the game but how do you approach it offensively like that um you know that’s just I’m not a just a straight shooter I’m a three level scorer I think uh showed that in college so you know just keep going out there and uh you know shooting mid-range shooting floaters getting to the rim dunan laying it up and then I don’t just that but uh playing out the pick and roll and hit uh you know my bigs for a easy layup all right last one for you you travel home take on OKC on Friday in the last NBA Cup game in the group stage for you guys how important was it to get this win and what’s the key going into that one uh it was big to get us uh that momentum to go back home and you know uh play our last Cup game and you know go from there appreciate it D yes sir appreciate you D connect the rookie when he starts he averages 20 points and he was on that number exactly again tonight check this out Drew Miller a producer put this together most three-point field goals made in a month in Laker history uh you guys were just talking about them let’s let’s go back to it what do you like about him in that starting lineup big game James and and are you happy with the move I I like the fact that I think his antenna are up right away on both ends of the Court sometimes when a rookie sits on the bench uh it doesn’t come in you know with the same type of intensity his intensely starts from the beginning because he’s out there with starter he knows he’s under the microscope and he know he’s needed had a couple plays where he went back door for you know for some layups make some nice dimes uh he understands the game so I think playing with that unit he flows better because his IQ is there his IQ is at that level where he can play with LeBron and AD and play well big game I I have to say this you know ad and LeBron love a shot maker yeah right they got one right next to him they were they were so happy got AR they got you know got guys that can make shots it’s important to them that that game where dton had nine threes LeBron and AD were like it was like a party on the bench they were so happy like wow with the 17 pick in the 2024 draft we finally found our shooter all these buddy Hill rumors over the years Klay Thompson rumors just 6 months ago before a free agency ne ne shooter the bonovich guys I think there’s only two of them but it felt like 10 of them R red years got a network actually it’s unbelievable yeah and now with the with the smart pick of the Laker front office okay why is this guy falling on draft day we don’t care did we work him out no you don’t work out for teams when you’re supposed to go 10 spots higher like he was we’re going to take him and and the the mood in that war room on draft night was ecstatic like what and you’ve heard LeBron talk about it um you’ve heard Austin Reeves talk about it and uh guys what what a discovery you know James I know you talk about this a lot I think you know we we talked a little bit with Rob plink when he when he joined us um on the set there and we were out at crypto you know so many times people you know you you you go to that 19-year-old and and and it’s about developing and and sometimes their Stars right away but they’re going to go through all these growing pains but when I listen to him talk like he he doesn’t speak like a rookie cuz he’s he’s traveled right he’s had a journey already so he’s there and he’s talking about scoring it through levels he’s talking about like letting a like you have a bad game as a shooter Who real Shooters don’t care they’re able to forget short-term memory and go because that’s what you do and and you know instead of getting like losing confidence or you know being 19 and unsure he’s like that’s he’s been on a journey yeah and you know the kind of Journey he’s been on is the re is a real journey that’s the kind of Journey that most of us has been on so yeah he understands the game he’s not afraid to make mistakes he he believes in him himself and uh you know that’s what I love about him he’s he’s a he’s a player and you know he’s been through every scenario as a basketball player different schools been through all the drills had some disappointments had to overcome some stuff ended up in Tennessee and now he’s a Laker so he should have been a Tar Hill should have been a Tar Hill we’ll take him as a Laker but you know the other thing is you know we forget DLo supposed to be a really good three-point shooter too so you know he should be just as consistent that’s two players should be pretty accurate at you know consistent so yeah you got to love the fact that we have two R ru’s hitting it well AR’s hitting it well so Lakers three not not an issue it’s it’s a strength right now uh I do want to talk about ma Max chrisy because everyone knows I like to talk about Max I’m always excited when Max gets opportunities and Max plays well because I love that the Lakers have faith in the young man I love that they stuck by him and that they’re developing him I love that cuz they drafted him um and tonight was awesome because that third quarter has been a it’s been a challenge the last couple games right where Lakers have a good first half come out in the third quarter and just kind of don’t have the energy don’t play good offensively or defensively and you’re obviously you’re playing really good teams you know Denver has that big run and so does Phoenix not tonight uh Spurs looked like they were going to get back in it but it was Max who had that huge corner I like what Billy and Stu were talking about it was a different Laker every single quarter right early in the game it was DLo and Dalton and then it was Max in the third he’s plus 16 he had 10 points in that third quarter game and uh he made a huge difference on both ends of the floor and got that Laker lead up to 19 and and then they they were able to kind of you know cruise from there he’s he’s smart he wants to learn and defensively that’s where he wants to you know hang his hat he can score he can shoot he can get to the bats he’s strong as an ox he had some players frustrated with his defense I I mean even in the in the Phoenix gun in the Phoenix Suns game you know bumping up on KD making him uncomfortable sometimes you know he’s that type of player and I you know then tonight he was the disruptor and the contributor on both ends and you know what BR like of course you have to be a competitive guy to make it this far but I I I like his competitive spirit because he wants those minutes every single night but when he doesn’t get him he doesn’t pout he just Waits does his job on the bench but then when he plays he’s ready to go he’s a he’s he’s a pro he’s he’s he’s on the right path do you remember a few weeks ago when Max chrisy had a dnp CD yeah I don’t either I mean it seems like that’s right has been a while he’s ear his minutes now yeah and I I was really high on Max coming into the season uh I felt like he did earn that nice four-year uh contract extension from the Lakers he fell out of favor with the last coaching staff really was an afterthought after about mid-march and that’s going to happen it’s not criticizing that staff he just didn’t fit in and for him to buy his time work hard during the offseason that’s all I heard about him was how hard he was working in the gym day after day after day other players going on vacation Hawaii the Bahamas wherever you want to go Europe for the Olympics um max Max was not that guy the season some guys get the money James and they they they they shove it I’m just going to collect my my cash here I got a nice four year deal that’s not what he did I’m not saying all players do that at all some do uh really impressed by him tonight yeah uh before we get to JJ and the highlights I do want to touch on LeBron James because uh he was just kind of going through the game and then you saw him turn it on in that fourth quarter it’s always amazing that he’s able to F kind of find that burst big game when the team really needs it and put a team away he had eight points eight of his 16 was that for end up with triple double well I did predict the triple double before the game but I he didn’t get the numbers but he I did say he’d get a triple double I mean I don’t know why he does it um I know there are kns like tonight where maybe he just didn’t have it in the tank you know but somehow when you need it he finds a way to conj it up and that’s what athletes do you know and uh he know they needed to win he knew he was a big part of it he knew he had an advantage picks and chooses what they need oh we need to be physical we need we need layups we need defense he just does it always a good sign when we’re what 15 minutes almost into into the pregame postgame show excuse me we haven’t even talked about LeBron and AD D yeah it’s nice and it’s great right and you know who loves it LeBron and AD yeah and so LeBron had what two points at the half yeah you know listen pres at the end of three had 86 and eight so you’re not thinking too much even though I had triple double watch going but then he ends up with 1610 yeah he snuck it in there and good for him and ad was three assist shy of his own triple double yeah so I mean those two guys had very good solid games we’re not talking about them because it was the others that that stood up stood in stood up and and made it happen James and D connect and D’Angelo Russell lots of credit to St five and double figs that’s that’s good and a good base seduction y let’s hear from JJ reck he’s speaking with the media renge Max did anybody stand out in particular and where how important was that kind of collective eff effort from those guys I thought a lot of guys stood out uh the bench with Max and DLo were big and especially back to back coming off the loss we had last night getting in at 4:00 A.M like you need everybody and uh seven guys in double figures 31 assists um really I thought our I thought our passing it started with ad um had 39 here the last time we played they were sending bodies to him we tried to get the ball early in his spots to score and he was picking up apart he was just a facilitator and look I’ve I’ve only coached him 18 games now um and the 19 points or whatever he ended up with it’s not going to jump off the page but he was a monster tonight and he does that every night he he does everything that it takes to win every single night different time we’re more at the two and and where did you feel like that helped you tonight um think you sometimes you you just got to like look at numbers and and we um are in constant communication with our analytics group um and obviously uh Max is with us during games and on the road um but we recognize that you probably need about 250 minutes to really gain stuff and and look at something in terms of uh lineup data um and we’re not there yet with some of these lineups but um you know we felt like the DK stuff was great and tonight was trying to figure out a way to get a win knowing that we were going to be uh reading one through five as the game plan um it just felt like a game that we could get him in there JJ to um for you one one how did you feel like you know I I think when we heard last time Max had that that switch on onto wemi and it was clip for social media was big player we talked about how do you feel kind of collectively you guys did when switched on to W be yeah I mean again we outside of one possession that we played Zone coming out of a timeout uh when they when they put their bench in at the end of the game we were in one through five red the whole game so that’s that was going to require a lot of physicality and a lot of communication and I thought our guys executed that to a great level beyond that sometimes when you can get a little spread out and they start ghost screens you can get broken down off the dribble certainly happened a few times certainly we we messed up a couple uh ghost screens and and the roller got behind or the slip got behind but overall I thought we did a really good job of just containing the basketball and not getting spread out you said three game to a question about kind of dwelling in the past that like that’s not you um how pleased were you with your team’s ability to flip the page on three just for different reasons like pretty pretty like emotionally um charged losses yeah I’m very proud of our group um the response was great and it’s funny cuz it’s literally what I talked about with them before the game is just you got to let go of the past you got to let go of the recent past and you got to get on to the next thing and uh like they’ve done already uh on several occasions they’ve they they’ve responded AR scored his first points in the in his career tonight what have you seen from him since he arrived uh in the team uh arml plays extremely hard um we we think he’s going to be uh a really physical Defender he rebounds at Elite level but what jumps off the page is just how hard he plays you know there’s a there’s a clip that made its way internally through our staff a number of people that work for the Lakers talked about it he got a I think two minutes three minutes something like that in the New Orleans game uh 10 days ago he gets a rebound and we have no advantage and he is in a full-on Sprint to the corner to get to his spot and I’m sure the tracking data had him at about 18.6 miles per hour but it’s like that’s how he is all the time and he’s been that way with our our South Bay group and um you know he’s a guy that we’re we’re very excited to see develop in our system JJ the last time you made a starting lineup change based off of choice and not injury replacement it you mentioned looking for more balance what came in the lineup with Dalton seems more you know more offensive oriented player but how important is his guess you call decision making when it comes to just you know when you gets the ball he’s just firing ready to shoot as opposed to you know to being you know deliberate or you know look you know catch and go I mean catch and pump just being deliberate in that way yeah I mean again Cam and him are different players um it’s not um I know you’re not intentionally leading me to An Answer here cam is not deliberate cam is not like he doesn’t stall out the offense it’s none of those things I think what Dalton is is a threat and a weapon and and that changes the dynamic of our offense JJ I know you saw the Spurs just what was it a week and a half ago but just the difference bit from last year to this year and I know you didn’t see him from a coaching perspective last year but how different Chris Paul Harrison Barnes and and Stefon Castle make this group just your thoughts here from an outside perspective they’re they’re a really good team um coming into this game having won six of their eight some of those without wemi uh they’re you know to me a very organized team and and you can probably point to Chris Paul for helping that um he’s a he’s a coach on the floor um Harrison’s been playing extremely well as of late and uh I’ve been you know as impressed with with Stefan Castle as any rookie in the class so far he’s he’s a he’s a player and kind of related to that kind of related to that uh Victor I know it’s early in year two but you notice things him doing things already that maybe he wasn’t doing uh even at the end of last year yeah bombing threes all right Anthony I I asked JJ first about kind of the bench guys like Max and Dalton and he he said yeah they were great but then he pointed to just brought up on his own you’re passing tonight said I think he had 40 here last time he said the Spurs played you a lot differently and you picked them apart with your passing just wondered what you saw and then what you were trying to get to um yeah I mean they were doubling off uh um another the passer uh soon as I caught it you know they were two in my in my lap so making the right reads uh getting off the basketball and um know hitting the guys that’s open you know but you know credit to you know these guys for making shots so um yeah they played me a lot different they didn’t play one1 like they did you know the other time we here and uh you know I just tried to make the right reads then getting back to some of those role players and and you know Max DLo and even dton kind of stepping into the starting line what did you see from some of the support crew tonight play their ass off uh all big shots you know we do what we do Max Chrissy was unbelievable you know with his defensive presence and uh you know making plays on the offensive end you know DLo you know DLo making shots uh making the right reads passing the ball so um I think everybody you know played well tonight um we played T basketball uh and it show clear clearly there’s oh sorry clearly there’s frustration from you guys after losing three straight and kind of the way that you did how significant was it to find a way to win a game against a team that had won four straight As you fly back home that was good um get back in the win column you know um obviously it’s uh you know it’s it’s frustrating it’s tough you know when you lose basketball games but it’s how you respond and you know the good thing about the NBA you always got one you know either the next day or you know next couple days you know to kind of redeem yourself so um I think we had a you know a solid 48 minutes um obviously they made a run um which every team will because you know it’s the NBA but uh you know we responded with a run of our own and was able to get some separation and um you know lock down the leag just kind of mentioned a drilling on that I mean you know you guys had a good half against Phoenix good half against Denver and when the push came from the other team it kind of things sort of fell apart um as you guys were playing well how much was consistency uh um know keep it going was that was that the vibe on the bench and and I guess how significant is it we’re just trying to get good looks you know run our offense um and live with the results and uh you know put guys in actions um that we uh thought that we had a Advantage with um we able to get some lobs some pocket passes some open threes um but uh we just stayed with it um I think we focused more so on the defensive end coming out um and you know trying to get stops uh they called the first time out so um you know that was a good sign for us uh and now it’s just about going out and executing you know for the rest of the time so you know for us we just wanted to come out with a defensive M get stops and then on the other end uh execute our offense and scor the basketball do seem to play the same way regardless if he’s coming off the bench starting but what kind of different Dynamic I guess does he add to that first unit spacing I mean he’s the least shooter um can shoot the basketball I was able to get some open shots um because he’s setting back screens and you know when you shoot the ball as well as he does uh you know two people tend to go to him and you know he kind of you know leave me open at The Rim or if they guy helps you know I me then you got another guy who’s open in the corner on the wing so um he brings a different dynamic to us um whether it’s a starting unit or an attack unit but um you know specifically with that starting unit uh you know he creates that that space and course and you know when we swing it to him you know he’s going to knock down a shot JJ was talking about the kind of the game plan with the Reds and which presume is talking about blitzes and like how often you guys do that one through five and kind of with when be involved what does that take what’s your role in that and how much how much communication do you have to do there um I mean it’s very simple um just communicating you know our coverage uh you know the red keep the ball in front you know obviously Wendy is uh you know can shoot the basketball so um you know we want to switch and make sure that you know he’s not getting open threes you know his last think last two games uh he shot 14 threes a game 14 and a half or something like that so uh you know we want to make sure that U we try to limit those attempts um and if he did shoot them dur our open they you know highly contested you know which most of them were so um you know it was a good game plan and I think we executed it to a team you match up against them a few times up to this point is it is it drawing to see you know S4 player taking nine threes a game the way that he is I mean it’s his game I don’t you know he’s not on my team he’s not I don’t know what they’re telling him you know over here or you know they’re game plan or um their offensive you know schemes or whatever um I mean he can shoot the basketball also um and nobody’s blocking the shot so uh I don’t know what they have him doing or what they want him to do so it’s none really none of my business Max chrisy scored a dozen points Off the Bench 10 of them in the third he’s with Mike Max remember in the November 15th game here you had you know one of your better performances led the team in plus minus had another good night tonight where where were you finding kind of some of this success and Rhythm against the Spurs team here honestly I’m just playing I don’t think I’m really coming into the game thinking that I’m going to play well against the Spurs or not I’m kind of just playing my game I’m playing hard on both ends and uh I was pretty aggressive tonight offensively especially to start in the second half um so that felt really good I think I kind of helped our team push that lead a little bit and we got a good win you know defensively JJ talked about the you know the Reds and kind of that being a big part of it what does that entail for you and how did you guys execute that um I mean when we’re any team’s really one through five red you’re going to be in a lot of mismatches uh wy’s a tall guy Collins is a big dude down there too so you know I was going to end up on some bigs and I was going to end up on some smaller guards um I think I’m capable of guarding almost all positions I think my fronts and the post have been really good and then I think I do a good job on the perimeter as well so you know for me it was just kind of just staying locked in on the matchups and um just kind of communicating with the guys you know switching every single screen so it worked out what was the key in tonight’s third quarter to you know not fall back into what happened the last two games I think honestly as a team we acknowledged at a halftime we said you know hey we got to come out and really make them call the first time out in the third quarter uh so we came out with a lot of force came out with intensity yeah I don’t think we really slacked so I thought we did a really good job and I think when we do that as a team then we’re really hard to beat we built a good lead in the first half and then kind of stood on that in the second half and you know grew the lead even too so it’s good after yesterday’s game ad mentioned that communication needs to improve defensively JJ pregame mentioned that you know the communication isn’t at a level of a highle defensive team how much was that stress for the past 24 hours well I think naturally when we were in one through five red you got to communicate you know so I think naturally that for us as a team you know had to happen if we were going to succeed tonight and I think we did a really good job communicating at a high level I think we scrammed a lot you know when smaller guys were on bigger guys we were able to get 80 back to the hole when we needed him um but I think everybody played a really good team defense tonight and um I think for that communication piece when we’re one through five R you got to communicate for that to work and we did a good job so as we are looking forward to Thanksgiving as are the players I’m sure they’re getting on that plane and hustling home so they can be with their families uh we got to thinking about you know Thanksgiving and how thankful we are and what’s some of your favorite dishes are bread but the question we all had in the control room for you was what what wine do you bring to Thanksgiving dinner at your mom’s I think you’re going to your mom’s I got to pick her up and then go to my brothers then going to your brothers yeah you got to kind of put smes in the car tomorrow your brother’s a wine guy too he’s a wine guy too so do you bring a bunch of bottles or just like one or two you know I got a six-pack the other day Justin’s in there Justin’s in there we got a Justin cab Reserve okay we’ve got a couple chardes we got duck horn and traan for for the moms and uh James you know we should we put a little Silver Oak in there for you for just silver Oak’s always good a patrimony is one I turn okay okay big big game is there a side dish that big game always has to have like is it you know because obviously you got the T like what’s like green bean casserole is a must with the with the uh crunchy onions on top is that glass back in the day boy it’s one of the best ever yeah green bean casserole if you can make it I’ll take it what was your mom’s specialty back back in the day in Gastonia God man don’t get me talking about gladus food oh man she made that green bean cero but she also made a chocolate cake Geer yeah I can taste it right now she did everything good turkey yeah gravy you eatting a lot tomorrow bre you have different stops just the one stop well we had a unique uh buffet in the in the room tonight the conference room you brought Sushi and I had ordered pizza that was an interesting uh combination platter we had going for the for the crew so off the hell of a start on Thanksgiving Sushi and some pizza Sushi pizza and ginger ale yeah I mean it was it was a sight to see weirder than any Vegas buffet I’ve ever been to that’s for sure what are you doing tomorrow uh you know what just uh just kind of lounging around we’ll watch some football got some things planned in the morning maybe a little pickle ball with the family and another family and then uh then we’re eating you you going to watch the Bears with allly and Jason 9:00 a.m. the Bears not bad they’re going to lose to Detroit they’re not good uh what about this guy right here brez this guy uh hanging out this guy he’s doing like a little virtual we’ve been talking to nacho cuz Nacho’s big in in the VR br’s buddies yeah we know if it Brett’s or Nacho’s buddy we think it’s nacho cuz we see him walking around these goggles from time to time in the uh in the hallways here you ever wore those things I have noide no absolutely not I don’t even know what to do with those you know Mama Mike’s got a pair of those Mike got Lakers calendar Friday they uh host OKC at 7 o’clock the final NBA Cup group play game uh Sunday starts a a 4 game Road Trip in Utah Monday Minnesota then at Miami Miami and Atlanta another road trip for the Lakers Fox played pretty well too by the way 17 points for D’Angelo Russell he’s with Mike D’Angelo that uh the bench unit you guys are able to be impactful right away um you Max JJ kind of called out specifically what did you see when you came in what were you trying to bring just as a group I thought we just whatever we were going to do we were going to do it collectively and I thought we just kind of had each other’s back on defense and offense spread to spread the love JJ talked about the Reds kind of that that coverage and playing against San Antonio means you’re going to end up down low kind of battling bigs a lot and trying to rebound and just having to be versatile what what is the key for a guard in that kind of a set physical um I mean our Reds kind of got them in a position to shoot a bunch of jump shots and all we got to do is rebound make the game simple what what have you seen uh from Matt specifically just you kind of shared some minutes with him and seemed like he was he was pretty effective as well tonight man I appreciate his ability to just be coachable um I mean guys are hard on him he’s always coachable um never lacks the the knowledge you know he’s always wanting to learn he’s a sponge I can go on forever about that guy man love that guy staying on Max how for a player like him a young player like him how important is it for him to just go out and play don’t overthink don’t it’s not easy it’s not easy um especially it’s not easy here so just keep your mind right and be ready when the time comes but um to answer your question is not easy so he doing all right uh let’s talk a little wbi in uh ad I know it’s always fun right big game you know it’s kind of be becoming must see TV it wasn’t like didn’t have big lines tonight but still just uh it’s so fun to watch him play you know in a league where bigs have taken on a a new game shooting threes and they’re not your oldfashioned Kareem you know aiman postup players just always uh anticipation when you’re looking at those two guys not your typical postup game but it will be a matchup that people will look forward to for for years when you guys are watching him do you think man five years from now right like he’s still so young I’m thinking two years from now yeah for sure but five years you know what I mean like at 25 like he’s it’s over right yeah I I mean I feel like the Spurs have done it really really smartly really really showing what they what they wanted to do with him last year kind of not not quite a minute’s restriction more of a game’s restriction for him got got a little bit of injury going on last year this year it is full bore get out there you’re playing 30 whatever minutes we’re not sitting you in backto backs or anything like that and uh yeah it’s scary it is real scary first play of the game one of the first Laker possessions anyway uh ad goes down there tries to get him goes that goes right at him Wy Bo blocks it right back out you might be tough you might be right though two years it could be his Le thinking Max contracts he’s going to get you know what he’s going to be the billion billion dollar guy yeah right he’s just coming at the right time he’ll be 100 million one you know one year it’s coming yeah Okay C brez what do you got for us you know right now they’re actually playing what this game mean bre well it’s it’s the last game in the uh in the NBA cup the Lakers they need to beat them by like 30 par it’s going be hard to do only because the Lakers lost by so many points 27 in Phoenix last night remember Point differential is a big deal in this thing and if if the Lakers don’t win their pool they have to be the best point differential of of 12 other teams that didn’t win their pool yeah and have a good record too so they would be in a head-to-head tie with Phoenix but Phoenix beat them so they’d get first one second place team gets pulled out gets pulled out and goes into the quarters and to be that second place team again there’s only one from each conference yeah so you got to really win that point differential yeah right now OKC playing Golden State um in a game for first in the west and that I I give OKC a lot of credit Chad hren went down a few weeks ago they’ve they’ve held three teams below a 100 without him good defensive team big game I know you’re always excited when SGA comes into town in OKC they’re just like BR said they’re they’re that team that everyone’s looking at right now like this is their time a lot of people predict them they’re the best team in the west right now and that’s hard to say over you know a team like Denver but uh they have arrived they’ve they arrived last couple years yep and with Shay at the helm man he’s uh dangerous he’s he’s a very exciting player
