a really good job over there he he went live earlier actually with some with a few few few guys so um I got I got to check it out a little bit looked like a pretty fun conversation so um shout out to Ace yeah Ace Ace has good stuff Ace has good stuff no doubt but um you know there’s been some news right there’s been a there’s been a little bit of news with the New York Yankees I mean you know as I keep saying this is kind of like a a dead time right now when it comes to um any you know big signings any big moves um but you know recently as you all know you know Aaron judge our captain uh did get the MVP award for the American for the American League and you know rightfully so I think it it was it was a pretty unanimous decision um a lot of there was a lot of folks who kind of rubbed them the wrong way because he didn’t want to talk to the media um I don’t know about you guys I could care less about him not wanting to talk to the media I mean I don’t know what the big deal is but he did come out and say that uh um he you know had a conversation with Hal steinber after the World Series they did meet and um sounds like they you know they discussed a lot of things so you know much like last last year um you know judge sat down with Hal to talk about what um what needs to be done what improvements need to be made and also also um um you know he it’s the same thing this year you know the the Yankee the Yankees are uh or excuse me Aon Aaron judge had that conversation th this year again as with Aaron with sorry Hal steinbrener as far as I’m sure what needs to happen obviously you know the big one is signing Wan sto back and which Speaking of Wan sto judge says that he never had he never has um had a conversation with Juan stto after the season um he’s kind of letting him have his space which you know rightfully so and um you know it’s a it’s a big decision so you know there there’s not going to be any pressure I think you know Soto knows that the Yankees want him back Soto knows that J that uh that judge wants him back I mean it’s it’s not a it’s not a secret but um you know Jud again judge said that uh he’s you know hasn’t spoken to him about the whole um about the whole free agency thing which which is fine you know um I’m sure they talked throughout the season um about about you know sto’s future but right now uh you know he’s just he’s just letting ju stto be now the one thing I I want to talk about right and I saw a couple of comments in the chat now there was a report put out by Chris kersner um saying that Nester Cortez and Jose trino were were non-tendered now the Yankees themselves didn’t come out and say that they haven’t you know there was nobody from the organization that came out and said it there was no tweet that said it I mean as far as players that have been non-tendered uh you know it it was infielder John birdie and left-handed picture Tim Mesa all right and then as far as uh avoiding arbitration the Yanke agreed to one-year contracts with JT right-handed pitcher JT brw breaker and outfielder Trent Grisham so I didn’t see anything with Jose trino and Nester Cortez but did you know what’s the you know what’s the new what’s the news with them are they are they still on the team I mean I would assume that they’re still on the team they’re not they’re not non-tendered I would imagine um I would imagine you know they are still on the team the Yankees are going to look for a way to you know to trade these guys I know the Yankees are um you know trying to shed uh some payroll obviously you know they have some work to do besides signing Juan stto they need to make some additional moves in which you know H Stein brener has come out and um made that promise to stto about um you know improving improving the team so you know I don’t think any move moves are going to happen yet with the Yankees I think they’re you know still trying to figure some things out um but one thing I didn’t want to mention with the um with the Yankees was that they did add a a hitter a hitting director or director of hitting and his name is Jared uh deart Jared Dart so jerck the Hart was a hidden coach for the Seattle Mariners from uh 2021 to 2024 he’s been involved with the Seattle Mariners organization um he was fired by the Seattle Mariners back in August he was one of the coaches that got fired but uh the Yankees hired him as the Director of hitting so um I don’t know about you all I’m not too familiar um with him I hope you know with him being added to the to the coaching staff or you know to to the organization um you know hope hopefully the Yankees can make some sort of improvement when it comes to uh the offense so you know when it especially when it comes to the to the situational hitting um I you know something guys I don’t know why they hired somebody from the Mariners um I couldn’t I couldn’t tell you uh and Ronnie Ronnie Ronnie is uh familiar with Jared D Hart and it sounds like uh it s it sounds like he doesn’t have anything good to say so um you know I I I don’t know I’m not sure why the Yankees hired him the I I found out about it from uh Dan from Dan roor he made a post about it on YouTube from uh Dan Ro from Yankee Avenue I mean that’s that’s how I uh that’s how I found out about it so um yeah he’s the he’s the director of hitting I I guess we’ll just have to see wait and see what happens hopefully hopefully there’s a good chemistry with him and James Rosen um you know let let’s just uh wait let’s just wait and see what happens folks let’s just see uh let’s just wait and see what happens I I was uh that one C caught me a little bit off guard when they um hired him what up and I see a few I see quite a few people that came into the chat I see Norma Flores John the West and only only to lose it to the Dodgers and they didn’t even make the wild card that’s the that’s the crazy part uh Chua what’s up what’s going on um another five and dime to get Aaron Boon a turkey hero uh Brian flurry what’s what’s up he says Yankees do need do need more clutch hitting da yeah exactly and you know I’m hoping we I’m hoping you know Jared deart with him being the the director of hitting he can improve on that and um he can help them with you know the situational hitting but I’m not familiar with this guy Ronnie is Fami familiar with him I mean it’s um since he lives in the Seattle area so I’m sure he’s uh watched a lot of their watched a lot of the Mariners games so um you know again we’ll we’ll have to just wait and see uh well yeah monoto is definitely a clutch hitter so yeah drod what the hell is a director hitting Yankees need a director situational hitting yeah like we’ve been talking about so I guess he’s gonna Overlook the whole uh Department of um of of the of hitting basically I mean I that’s that’s that was my under understanding of it so yeah DJ L machine come back that’s hilarious I don’t know why they keep snubbing Brett Garner he should be the hitting coach somebody could bunt and hit the balls of the opposite field yeah I don’t know what’s going on with him and uh what’s going on with the Yankees and Brett Garner I mean um you know obviously he hasn’t been around in a while even after he was done with the Yankees so um couldn’t I couldn’t tell you but yeah what up nithan what’s going on bro hope hopefully you’re doing with the news that came out yesterday saying that Trevino and Cortez were um were non-tendered but again the Yankees didn’t say anything there was no tweet on their on their ex account um there was nothing there was nothing said by anybody in your organization so my my assumption is that they’re that they’re still they’re still on the team but at the same time I don’t see them on the team for much longer um I I still think Nester Cortez is going to get traded um I don’t know um I don’t I don’t know to who or where but um they they do need to trade him they need they need to trade Marcus strowman uh Jose trino you know again it’s nothing against tavinho it’s nothing against uh you know against Nester Cortez but um you know these guys need to be moved um but there’s no future with these guys but as of as of right now as of right now there’s still members of the New York Yankees so um yeah so these guys are are are um still on the team I think I think the Yankees are going to be the Yankees are definitely going to be active in the trade market all right they’re not going to be as active in the in the um in the free agent Market but the trade market uh most definitely I I I can I can definitely see it so um we’ll just have to again we’ll just have to wait and see uh what happens with that so are there any catchers available in the free agent Market you know I haven’t checked unless if they go with one of their unless if they go with Ben rice as their backup as their backup catcher to Austin Wells but then that you’re going to have uh two Lefty two Lefty bats in the uh in the lineup but um un unless if they decide to go with one of their other uh catchers that they have in the system like car Carlos nves or something I me the Yankees have a lot of Yankees have a lot of um catchers in their system right now so um yeah I know yeah they have five catchers on their on their on their roster so um Travis darno was a free agent but he got he got signed but let’s see here so here’s the list of catchers so tra so Kyle higashioka which you know the Yankees aren’t going to sign him back uh Travis who signed a two-year deal with Los Angeles Angels uh Danny Jansen Gary Sanchez Carson Kelly yasmani grandal you had Austin Hedges but he signed a one-year deal with Cleveland Elias Diaz Jacob Stallings signed a one-year deal with Colorado James mccan Jan Gomez Tucker barnhard Luke Mel Kurt casali Omar nayz Martin moldonado Max stassy so those are your uh those are your catchers yeah I did mention Elias I did mention Elias Diaz uh but I don’t think any of these catchers are going to be looked at by the Yankees honestly these guys are you know a little bit on the older side um so I don’t yeah I don’t I I definitely don’t think they’re gonna look at any of these catchers so yeah Gary Sanchez yeah no but I I would imagine they’re they’re probably going to go if I had a guess they’re probably going to go with [Music] um one of their catchers in their system so I mean narvas is one guy potentially I mean they could go they could potentially go Ben rice too um so we’ll just have to we’ll just have to wait and see but I Jose Jose trino is um not going to be um on this I don’t think he’ll be on this team next season yeah no I feel you I I wasn’t saying we needed them it was there was a question asked of who what catchers were available and so I wanted to read the list of catchers that were available and the ones that were signed I don’t think the Yankees are going to go after any of these catchers I mean they have five patchers in their system right now so um yeah they’re probably going to go I’m I’m I’m sure I mean if I had a guess they probably G to go um you know NV and Wells obviously so and Henrik israelian thank you so much for the $10 Super Chat you are awesome thank you so much man he says uh the Mets have the strongest chance at stto right now considering the momentum around Cen and his good relationship with boros well um I mean the Mets have a very strong chance I I I do agree with you but so did the Yankees though the Yankees have the advantage here just because you know stto did spend one he did spend the year with the Yankees so he is familiar with the organization um you know he played he he got to experience what it’s like playing in the Bronx right and you know how steinbrener also has a good relationship with Scott too so it’s going to come down to the Mets of the Yankees um it won’t it there’s other teams yeah that have talked with um that that have talked with Juan stto but the the the Mets and Yankees are going to uh have the biggest chances yeah I I agree that I mean yes I understand that they need experience with catching but some of some of those some of those guys the free agents I mean they’re a little bit up there in age and Travino it’s just you know he’s not he’s not the he’s not the catcher that he once was so I mean you know what do you what do you do I mean at some point right we talk about some of these young guys that that they need to be they need to be played they need to be utilized right I mean how often do Yankees fans complain about how um you know the Yankees having all these young guys and not playing them right they they don’t and they kind of wait they kind of waste their years we we’re constantly hearing this about um about Oswell perza how he doesn’t get how he doesn’t get played and now he’s out of options and so you know they they they didn’t do they didn’t um they didn’t utilize him the way they were they were supposed to so I mean at some point they gota they got to utilize some of these young guys I mean they you start you got to start somewhere you got to start somewhere a stronger advantage over the Yankees please look at the roster and farm systems yeah but I mean you think Hal’s gonna you think Hal’s gonna back down oh you oh Mets do not have a strong never mind I miss I misread your I misre your sentence there Lai my fault um but I wouldn’t yeah I wouldn’t say they have a stronger Advantage they have a strong chance they have a chance of sign um Soo like I said Soo who well I mean why not sign higgy I mean they could sign higgy back on the cheap but I I don’t I don’t see the Yankees doing that I I don’t yeah I I really don’t I don’t see the Yankees doing that I mean I mean there’s really um there there was there’s really no there’s really no reason to bring him back I mean I understand the experience but again you know you gota you got to go I I feel like in this case right the Yankees have to go with what they have um you know and how how steinbrener has come out and said that he wants to utilize uh more of the young more of the young guys anyway he wants to utili play more of the guys from from the from the Yanke form so you know I’m not saying they’re going to play all of them yeah you have to have a you have to have a mix of experience and and non-experienced right experienc in rookies and young guys um a little bit older a little bit younger you need that on the team but um the Yankees do need to get a little bit younger too they need to get a little bit more athletic a little bit they need to get they need to be a little faster so um you know hope hopefully the Yankees are going to be focusing on that and you know how how is uh trying not to be over the uh the Cohen threshold too so there’s also there’s also that pza to the Mariners you Hey Stephen B what’s up man how’s it going what’s going on Stephen B how’s it going so yeah because the Mariners they’re they’re strapped right they’re strapped for money they’re they’re in a little bit of financial trouble right now so I mean yeah the Yankees could be good trading partners for um for the Mariners so um we’ll just have to we’ll just have to wait and see doing two service calls all right man well you’re working making money good for you man good for you you’re you’re always working there Stephen B and I and you know appreciate the work that you do you’re always you’re working hard as always man so keep keep it up there keep up bro doing good uh I would argue that Hal has a better relationship with Boris and Cohen Hal has been working with Boris way before Co yeah no absolutely D Trin absolutely and this is what I’m saying you know how Hal Hal and Boris have known each other for a long time how and Scott Boris have known each other for a long time the the Yankees I I feel like still um have the advantage here because like I said Soto played with the Yankees for a season he got the experience to play in the Bronx he got the experience to play alongside uh Aaron judge and and Company you know he got a feel for the organization you know so um during his meeting with Hal he did uh you know address certain I’m sure he addressed certain things and you know there were certain questions that he that he asked how as far as you know how to um what he plans on doing how to how to improve the team so um how is you know Hal made a clear that he wants stto back and he’s going to do everything he can to to improve this team so I I I can I I would would wonder if Hal is going to make some moves you know as far as uh before before you know signing Juan stto and Juan sto you know he’s not going to sign till December Brown uh winter meetings Soto meetings or was Pete I’m sure what s already has a good idea where he wants to play my bet soda makes his decision by the end well that’s my prediction either um during the win winter meetings or at the end that’s where I’m like that’s where I’m at I’m with you we should sign High leverage reliever Soto definitely has to be oh I mean stto is definitely part of the plan he’s definitely part of the plan I mean that’s a that’s a fact he ain’t um he’s definitely part of the plan so um oh yeah the Yankees are making them a high priority Alli said I think and this is why I call yanes fans hypocrits they criticized the front office for want to go with the young guys but they can’t go want to play them well I’m voicing my support in playing these young guys like I said because there’s there’s been a lot of fan there’s been a lot of uh complaints from fans right such as yourself that you know the Yankees have all these young guys and they’re not um they don’t utilize them the way they they’re supposed to so it’s either now or never you know what I mean so you know in let’s see you know they have a good they have a good Farm they got a there’s a lot of players with a lot of potential so um you know let let’s see what they’re like at the major league level and as always as I say you have to be patient with them got to be patient with them let them let them develop let them they’re going to struggle they’re going to they’re going to make mistakes it’s it’s part of the it’s part of that Journey right and then you would hope in you know years two and three um of their Major League career they they’ve made uh significant improvements and they are um you know Major League proven so let let’s hope for that now the other rumor right that this sounds like there’s been several uh sites reporting this and I don’t know how true this is because obviously the Yankees are going to they’re always going to check in on every free agent that’s available they want it they’re they’re they’re just doing their due diligence okay they’re they’re just doing their due diligence um so there’s been a report saying that um the Yankees and Walker bu have have interest again I don’t know how true that is um the Yankees I would say do need to get a starting pitcher they need to add a starting pitcher to the rotation I don’t think they could go with the current rotation that they have right now um even though they you know there’s a few good guys on the rotation don’t get me wrong but I would I would I think they should I think they should sign another starting pitcher they have to or or trade for one at least right Walker bu listen you know he pitched well against the Yankees I mean at the moment you know he he yeah like I said he pitched well against the Yankees in game two and he closed out the game in game five against the Yankees pitched well um he could be a he could be he could be he could have been a better pitcher than what he is but injuries have um have plagued him um injuries did not do him any favors I mean the guy did miss a lot of time because of injuries so um I’m not really personally I’m not really on you know in favor of signing Walker bu so I’m not sure if the Yankees would go after him although he probably would be an inexpensive option um which is you know some something that um you know Brian Cashman will do he’ll you know try to go after somebody good if he that and especially if he can if he doesn’t have to if the Yankees don’t have to pay him as much um that could be a possibility uh FL it is another um possibility you know and I know Ronnie put in there that Ken Rosenthal said ber and I think he meant to say flarity there are both interested in being Yankees um lii is saying uh pass on both um I don’t listen I I don’t I would love for the Yankees to you know to sign Corbin Burns but that’s that’s not going to happen um you know Corbin Burns would be a he he’d be a solid number two in the Yankees Ro rotation so um but I I highly doubt the Yankees are going to go after Corbin Burns I think um I think Corbin Burns goes to he either signs back with Baltimore goes to the Mets or signs with a team on the west coast so what’s up Shan Browning Walker beer is on the value added starters available in free agent once he’s off of Tommy John he should be an expensive right right and um that that’s one reason why I think the Yankees could go after him again I’m not really in um in in favor of him now as far as available free agent picturers I just want to see if I can pull that up real quick just to see who is available so Corbin burn s Blake Snell us kuchi Max freed nathany evaldi Jack flarity uh Justin Verlander but I I’m definitely not interested in him he um is apparently in in conversations with the Houston Astros you got Nick pavetta sha Mana Patrick sanal Charlie Morton Andrew Heeney Clayton Kershaw Shane Bieber Max Scherzer Patrick Corbin yeah there’s a there’s a there’s a lot of there’s a lot of free agent pitchers available right now you know so between uh Bullpen arms and uh starters so yeah ber has lots of upside and Ken’s R you can get him on the cheap after Tommy John by low not high give him a similar deal as strowman and I do agree like he he would definitely be a a he would be an upgrade over strowman and Cortez I I I would uh I would I would agree with that um 100% um D but he’s not my he wouldn’t be like my first option but you know I can I can see I could see the Yankees U making a deal for him though William Grimace joining us from X what’s going on he said where did the Cortez and trino noner rumors even come from well I read I heard it somebody said that Chris kersner put it out there he put out he put out the news out there that trino and Cortez were not tendered but um I kept I was looking at other I was trying to see of um other other sources and who of other people were corroborating that but apparently that wasn’t the case and Yankees Twitter or Yankees X account um didn’t even say anything about it I mean as of right now they’ve only um they’ve only non-tendered John birdie and Tim mea so um there was no other players that they that they non-tendered so um as as of right now and they have they came to an agreement with Nesta Cortez or not Nesta Cortez um Tren Bram and uh JT Brewbaker so elsewhere I think Yanks pivot F Focus will be on pitching and a left fielder oh Hunter yeah I mean the bullpen is something that they’re gonna they’re gonna that they’re gonna be very aggressive on at least that’s what at least that’s what’s been said and they do need to be aggressive with the bullpen uh they need they need to build they absolutely need to build a solid bullpen uh starting or and as far as starting pitching goes um you know if they don’t if they don’t get um if if they don’t get if they don’t get SoDo maybe they do go after one of the free agent pitchers one of the big names that’s out there little nine Dragon Chan what up uh Nester Nester could still eat Innings reliable as a four five star he’s been solid at least half of his appearances last year at least the Yankees yeah true true you’re you’re you’re right but um his injuries are his his injuries are a little bit of a concern for me and he does give up a lot of the long Ball but I mean he’s not the only one but he is yeah he is he was a reliable four or five starter but um he was he he was still inconsistent at times I mean again nothing against Nester I like Nester Cortez but um he you know he definitely had his moments and the his um his injuries are a little bit of a concern for me yeah it’s probably gonna be yeah left field is probably G to be uh well either left field or yeah he’s gonna he’ll he’ll be left field because obviously judge is gonna play center sto’s right field I mean ideally I like to put uh Dominguez in in center field but that’s just me yo what up Daniel Barry what’s going on how’s it going off topic anyone else see the new Gladiator movie this weekend I haven’t seen it um is it is it good did you go see it there copy bar well if you put Dominguez in center field judges back and right field stto and left which I mean I I know a lot none of us really want that or you put judge judge in left field and keep stto in right field and keep Dominguez in Center I’d rather trade strowman I’m I’m yeah he’d have to contract if they have to ber would make a good number four yeah um I the Yankees need to trade Marcus strowman um they if if even if it means eating some of that some of that money um they will definitely have to do that oh not yet going later all right man well outfielder um that’s the reason why the Yankees brought him back but um who’s going to be the left fielder good question I don’t know they’ll probably they’ll probably sign a left fielder I would imagine why not DH judge now I don’t they’re they’re not going to DH him yet because you still have you still have John Carlos Stanton he’s still he’s still your DH so he’s not he’s not gonna he’s not gonna go anywhere you know John Carl John Carl ston is still on this team uh so he’ll be the DH until um his time is up and they’ll probably they’re probably going to move judge to the DH spot here in in in about you know 4 years as so because uh he’s Stanton’s contract I think ends in 2028 and he has an option for 2029 and now um there’s a club option and the Yankees I doubt will exercise that yeah Dominguez I would imagine he’s going to be an everyday player come next season I hope that is the case um I you know again I do want to to I do want to see him play um you know we we got to we got to see what he what he’s made of there’s there’s a lot of hype about him there’s GNA be a lot of pressure on him um I mean I’m not gonna put that kind of pressure on him I’m not gonna I’m not gonna I’m not gonna you know expect big things magical things right off the bat you know because I don’t want to set myself up for failure just in case right I don’t want to I don’t want to be disappointed because we we’ve we’ve uh we’ve seen that before Raven Poe what’s going on Raven Poe he says if not sto then proar then Shawn man or flarity yeah I mean profar could be an option uh for pitching sha man or flarity man is solid you know he’s he’s a good he’s a good pitcher he’d be a good he’d be a good um he’d be a good Lefty in that in that rotation well yeah I mean 2023 was definitely a a lesson 2023 was not a great year in general especially with all these freaking injuries but but folks real quick we are over 40 minutes into the live stream and I have between X and probably what he’s looking for uh the aav um I I don’t know um he’s gonna get paid and Jud and he’s gonna get paid way more than judge and I know some I remember some fans were s wondering if judge was going to be um we’re we’re going to be you know if he was going to be upset about stto getting paid way more money but um I I tend to disagree with that I mean judge wants a team around him he wants to win and then you know they came close that was the clo closest they have come with judge but um didn’t happen unfortunately Evan is 50% sure but I still have to well I’m sure they have a plan Placer D Rod it hurts judge because he has to play center field until s’s gone yeah I mean this is true soda wants an opt out after three years so he will leave whatever team don’t perform where did where did you hear that so now we’re saying 47 for 12 to 14 years I mean who who’s uh I guess who who’s saying these things cuz I read four 14 to 15 years for you know 45 million a year not Hing on Sono and W min pin stripes and appreciate his plate discipline and what he did to help to get the Yanks to the World Series but eventually he’ll get 45 to 70 million just DH if no opt outs yeah 45 to 70 million that’s a that’s a big range so think he wants to break otani’s present day value which is about yeah his present day yeah otani’s present day value is about 45 to 46 million so um you know I’m sure stto wants to be around that I’m sure he wants to beat that but and you know rightfully so he’s a little bit younger I mean he’s 26 years old 26 year old free agent that’s that’s rare that is rare so um yeah it could it could uh it could potentially happen Happ so um let’s see what you know let’s see what money is going to be offered you know uh it’s this is uh it’s it’s G to be we already Walker ber have interest uh so there could be a deal in the making who knows um I you know I don’t think Walker beer is bad but his injuries are a concern for me so um we don’t know what’s going to happen with that you know how again how steinber knows what’s at stake he knows that there needs to be improvements on this team I think he’s going to do everything he can in this off season to to make improvements I mean the Yankees do have holes on the team not a lot but I mean there there there’s so holes that they need to fill obviously so um you know first base always being the big one so
