10 wins we’re trying to beat the Philadelphia Eagles for that number one seat we’re trying to still win the NFC North above the Vikings and the Packers so we need to get that dubb today appreciate everybody in the building for today’s stream it’s going to be a good one that is for sure Lions heavily favored to win this game right now it’s at a 70 I believe 3.6% on ESPN the betting markets have the lines as a 7 and a half Point favorite the total over and under is 50.5 those are some interesting numbers now I actually I probably wouldn’t bet on the cover but I would definitely bet on the over this could be a game where there’s a situation I don’t know maybe a touchdown at the end of the game that could switch the total and over and under and so that’s what kind of uh scares me or or game probably near one one score gam so I’m not suspecting a blowout today and I know we’ve watched a lot of blowouts so far this year but you got to understand that the Colts are are they’re not as bad as as some of these teams they’re better than the Cowboys they’re better than Jacksonville they’re better than the Titans they’re five and six and you know they’re they’re they’re a team that’s in the middle and they’re hunting too they’re trying to get the playoffs so it’s not like it’s going to be just oh they’re going to lay down that’s not going to be the case today again lions are favored to win this game 100% believe they’ll win this game but it’s going to be a little bit closer than maybe uh a lot of people expect how is the weather in Indie remember when the reporter asked that how comes to injuries and this is something I love about this organization unlike other teams that’ll Force players to play if they’re dinged up they do the opposite they understand it’s a long season and they rest their players so I agree if Arnold was feeling dinged up there’s no rest them man like we don’t need it’s not a pressure situation we have depth that we can replace some of these guys we the most important thing and so that’s what we kind of got to think about now right it’s not just about the today’s game but about the postseason you can win in the regular season that’s great you go into the postseason banged up injuries then we’re in a different story and and this team understands that and it’s the opposite so they they’re rest in Arnold great move um even if they if they wanted to wrestle a porter today who is going to be playing he’s active I wouldn’t even up been upset about it I have no problem I think the lions are such great depth all around one player goes out other one steps in is it the same production no but have Ben Johnson who knows how to scheme players in positions and you got Jered gof who’s playing an MVP level he just stands there waits for the player to get open he’s going to throw it and the ball’s going to be accurate so that’s what the Lions can do here in this game we got 604 in the building with 181 likes let’s get to 200 likes that’s the the Detroit Lions are going to win this game for you guys so the Lions offense right now is high it’s putting up 33.6 points per game that’s first in the NFL if you look at the Colts defense they’re allowing 21.5 points per game 19th in the NFL the Lions have a significant Advantage here the best offense going against a defense that’s below average they’re terrible against the um running back who can catch out of the back field they’re terrible against that and they’re terrible against the tight end and they’re terrible in the middle of the field that’s exactly where Jared gof goes this is a devast stating blow to their defense because it’s a mismatch passing yards per game the Detroit Lions are putting up 242.4 sixth best in the NFL you look at the total yards that the Colts off or defense is allowing is 320.11221 97.3 rushing yards on the ground that’s 16th in the NFL so the midline is going to run the football P lines are going to have no problem I feel like offensively unless they turn the ball over in which the Colts they’re bad in the turnover differential they are negative one that is 19th worse in the NFL the Detroit Lions on the other hand are fourth in the NFL plus nine in the turnover differential that’s what happens when you have Kirby Joseph you have Carlton Davis you have Bri Branch these guys are turning the football over like crazy Lions offense significant Advantage let’s go ahead and switch it to the Colts offense versus the Detroit Lions defense Colts defense so far or sorry Colts offense so far they’re putting up 21.5 points per game that’s 19th in the NFL Lions defense they’re allowing 17.7 fifth best in the NFL I’m actually going to take the over here um I do think that the Colts defense will put up more than 17 Again I got them getting 23 I think that Anthony Richardson he played much better last week he is mobile they’ll probably have nine or 10 design run plays specifically for him in this game that’s going to to help the pile a little bit to to be quite Frank with you um I think the Lions will do good stuffing the run you know against the running back but we’re still we’re we’re much better against the mobile cback this year but you know they’re still going to get theirs that’s what they do right it happens to every team but I think the lines are much better this year prepared for it than last year total yards for offense the Colts are putting up 320 points 72 first in the NFL the Detroit Lions look they allow yards that is something that is occurring they’re allowing um 345 12th best in the NFL but they’re not allowing people to point so it’s it’s right it’s it’s between the 20s that’s what they’re allowing but they’re forcing field goals that’s good the passing off defense for the Colts is 22.2 that’s in the air that’s 21st the lions are allowing 232 I’m going to take the over again we are allowing more passing yards the lines are up on teams I think that’s going to occur and Anthony Richardson played better last week in comparison to the first half or the first portion of this season and I think he’ll he’ll put up a little bit more so I’ll take the over there rushian yards per game the Colts are putting up 97 points .3 16th the lions are only allowing 94 that’s fifth best in the NFL Lions will do that again in this game again I think it’s a mismatch the Lions of the better football
