all right this one a battle of the greater Nashville area with libcom and Middle Tennessee we have talked recently about the MTSU Raiders they are back at home they are laying two and a half against lipom tonight the total is 148 Matt Cox start our discussion thoughts on this match up with Middle Tennessee and lipam yeah very uh so you have Middle Tennessee coming off a a pretty hardfought game against Cal Baptist on Monday a game they controlled mostly uh ended up winning by 11 but they got a quick turnaround versus a team in lipom who I know they played Monday as well but they basically played a non- D1 team I got to think they’re the more rested team in this in this situation I would give the slight Edge from a spot perspective to lipom not a big travel at all right Murphy’s Boro Nashville U very close uh and Lenny acff man the way these guys are playing right now they’ve won five in a row I know it’s not against the murderers roow but I just think this matchup with the shorter prep for Middle Tennessee does set up well for the Bison uh singular or sorry bison’s plural excuse me TJ um and the other thing though for Middle Tennessee cam Weston was kind of their Alpha Dog uh before he got hurt last year he’s been good this year not great they’ve gotten some good stand in point guard play though from Jaylen counter who a guy that no one really took seriously coming from iepui they lost a ton the last couple of years but he’s kind of been a good sort of uh change of pace fill in uh for Weston and I think metal tenness see now T start take more seriously with him emerging all that said I still like I said the lipsum spot situation slightly to them um and the current form that that they’re in right now we have seen lipom out of conference they got bopped by Arkansas in the second game Kentucky beat them badly but kind of at this level they have a win at Chattanooga big by 18 they also beat Southeast Missouri I’m seeing Jeff Na by 18 they played a D2 school and B them any thoughts here on lipom and maybe something on the total here as well with Middle Tennessee State tonight I think one thing I know is this is going to be a fun as Sun Conference this year I mean North Florida shooting the hell out of the ball North Alabama’s been tough but lipom still looks like the top team in this conference and I feel like in this spot they’re probably the play here I I’m not one to give look I don’t give three points to Middle Tennessee because are at home that that that is not a three-point Advantage here it just isn’t I throw that out the window I feel like maybe the wrong team’s favorite here I have lipsum quite higher than Middle Tennessee and you really look at what lip gum’s done this season you mentioned the wins against teams they need to be you look at how they played really outside of Kentucky they didn’t play well in that game but it’s Kentucky that roster is super good um even in the Arkansas game they lost by 16 but Dylan fauler didn’t play um I feel like if he plays that’s probably a single-digit game so I think all in all they’ve played really well this season I think they’re a top 100 team for sure uh I don’t really understand why they’re an underdog I’m one of these people where no offense to Middle Tennessee but I’m not going to give them any Credence for being uh and having a Home Advantage I don’t I don’t other than top 25 top 40 matchups I just don’t care that much about home field advantage so give me uh Libby lipsum it’s not a play I’m going to make but I would definitely lean that way here I thought the live button was coming out for an ad there on that but it is not again this is in the Murphy Center mtsu’s home as uh Matt made mention of they beat Cal Baptist at home earlier in the week in a 7564 win this one on ESPN plus tonight at 6:30 local time we gave you a lot of thoughts on Justin Porter and the MTSU Raiders hosting lipom tonight and it is kind of a regional battle there with lipom being based in Nashville uh for this and there’s a heartwarming thing we’ve seen this numerous times on how tight this lipsum team is they gave one of the walk-on players on video on social media they gave him a surprise scholarship either yesterday or the day before and the whole team came running up around him he’s uh he’s been working hard as a walk-on the last couple of years and they did it actually with a gift they gave everybody gifts like for the holidays and for his gift there was an inscription on the gift that oh by the way because of your hard work you’re now on scholarship as of tonight so will that be inspiration for them we will find out tonight in this matchup between lipam and Middle Tennessee yeah good stuff we need more of that right now there’s enough crap going on and enough negativity that we need you know when somebody’s been working hard I mean folks it isn’t easy it isn’t easy right now coming up with money and tuition my hand is up uh prepare for this get the college fund going Matt Cox prepare for this when you start thinking about College college fund tuition how you pay for all of this well I’m sure I’m sure the phone call home was good on that one NE do on hey uh second semester I’m on the at lipom I’m on I’m on scholarship but we like Hey listen man there’s not a lot of people that can just uh put that money together and quickly say hey here I’ll pay for it so yeah good for him I’m I’m sure he’s a just a regular kid and and and you know look working hard can can have its privilege and uh you know good for him for getting it and and Lenny aov’s a great coach he has a good team down there I think they’re going to be really solid this year I I do want to point one thing out we didn’t mention this and I know you’re probably going to mention it could it have happened to a worse guy I mean Doug gotle but total goof a total loser the this guy uh goes out of his way we’ll get to it later we’ll get to it later that that LE lost to a D2 school yesterday and there’s plenty of time to torch it when we when we get done with the handicap just stand by yes we will get to it stand by uh all right so there’s lipom in Middle
