ball and then as he PES the ball into the middle franka does well he gets his head involved and both are a booking away from a touchline ban trouble now Curtis Jones stealing in and Wilson for rovi backed up by Anthony Robinson whizzes it across and Perera is there what a ball what a finish what a moment for fulman anfield so much to take in in the opening 10 minutes not least that Fulham have the lead against the league leaders oh what a goal it is from Fulham and they take advantage of that space down the right hand side as this play gets switched out to aobi he just waits for Anthony Robinson but look at the way a pass it takes Trent Alexander Arnold out the game and the ball to the back post it’s a good Ball but Pereira makes it a great ball because of his athleticism to be able to deal with it full stretch takes a slight Ricochet a deflection off Andrew Robertson at the back post which probably takes it away from Allison but anfield are absolutely stunned what a start for Fen well that is his first goal since the strike at the the etti had against Manchester City created by that wonderful back heel assist from R gimenez not an easy thing to do but Liverpool are struggling a little bit here and they’re in trouble again oh Robertson takes down Wilson himz looks to finish the job anyway but it will be brought back here and Robertson might be in a whole heap of trouble you’ve also got the issue here with Ral gimnez he is absolutely Furious and Robertson does go it’s a mistake from Andrew Robertson I think the big thing is he’s saying now where’s the covering player how close is he and Van dijk isn’t close enough he’s too far away it is the right decision to give the red card but the other issue you have here is is R gimnez is saying you’ve blown the whistle before I’ve had the opportunity to take the shot why didn’t you let the game just continue ever so slightly and i’ have had the opportunity so we all also have another problem with this is that is Harry Wilson offside from that initial Ball but this is the moment where Ral jnez is saying you’ve already blown the whistle let me finish the action and put the ball in the goal you can still go back and make a decision so we got a few things to clear up here this is by no means [Applause] clearcut it will be tight I think obiously this is is such a a key moment in the game a lot of people talk about the time it takes well what we do want is the right decision that’s the most important thing he’ll be nervous yeah it’s a long wait this when your future in the game hangs in the balance the decision is clearly on side so Andrew Robertson is told to walk and it is all and rling a little bit for Liverpool here it’s Wilson oh it’s very close indeed Allison was really concerned that and anfield held its breath oh it certainly did it went quiet because they thought that was dipping in would Allison have saved it he was at full stretch lovely technique from Harry Wilson Wilson Pereira up and over virra deflection yeah he gets it van djk encouraging poon but there was no way around sander bger and gimenez trying to escape here from Van dijk Pereira is in the middle if he can find him and he [Applause] couldn’t look for Diaz it’s a great take but he had two to compete with and there was a foul in the mix as well I think it’s t ball from Le Diaz I think as it comes over his shoulder he just takes it on his almost on his shoulder and there it is that little touch onto the arm rolls down not forward for Wilson looking for gimnez taken off his toes by Robinson who now goes again gimenez in the middle Pereira there as well Wilson backing them up Pereira leaves it Harry Wilson’s there so is Joe Gomez Alexander Arnold again Salah three to look for in the middle on he goes so was night and he goes with Diaz and he got right underneath it they lovely from Salah down that left hand side and the ball back to SOS he might have just been offside Robinson’s ball Wilson looking for Robinson R BS superb on the slide just so so well I thought he’s just space for Salah helps it all the way in and in it goes Cody gako well they didn’t have to wait long after the restart Liverpool find a way back in and it’s seven goals in nine games at anfield for Cody GPO yeah and it’s that magician Muhammad Salah with the ball into the back post give him far too much room by Fulham and he just puts in a delightful ball into that back post he’s not looking to pick anyone else he’s just looking to pick an area out because there’s both Diaz and gapo there t goes to ground almost over covers trying to pick up leis Diaz but there’s gakpo arriving it’s a slip from T gakpo puts it into the goal listen to anfield they feel this is very much game on now gakpo Leno here they go with Robinson a few to look for in the middle one of them’s Wilson and all of a sudden it was there for him just the wobi and you could see the idea that the execution wasn’t quite right over it goes towards aobi now it’s Liverpool’s turn to break so was that with Diaz with Salah with gapo with Salah one end to the other but still one1 yeah well how often have we seen this with Liverpool over the last few weeks there was one a couple of weeks ago against Aston Villa at home and he broke perfectly this time to bosl nicely played for grainers now in his default setting in Midfield Luis Diaz Darwin Nunes is there so is Salah and still for Robinson again oh he’s tucked it back and it’s in Rodrigo Muniz Fulham season is going from strength to strength and Liverpool have it all to do again and anfield aart from a small pocket of away fans is silent well what a goal this is from Fulham it’s absolutely textbook for them in the way that they attack and the way that they go forward just keep your eye on Anthony Robinson he’s the one here who plays this pass and he runs Beyond Trent Alexander Arnold he tries to grab it aobi now feeds that ball in behind to Anthony Robinson and he’s so strong so committed to making sure that he holds off Konza but then now the presence of mind he pulls it back and munise gets that finish a flick and just glances it into that far Corner we said fham could hurt them and haven’t they just well the slightest of touches Elliot trying to ghost it into a shter Salah there juggling away pum clear only to Elliot who will bend it that was oh so close to parity wow we were right behind it and the first thought is is that he’s tried to set it outside the post good defending for him Anthony Robinson initially getting in between him and Muhammad Salah but as he works it here you know what he wants to do just here’s jot twisting turning scoring returning with a bang a huge Liverpool goal and Dogo shter comes up with the goods in their hour of need well the two substitutes combin lovely from Dar nun but watch this the ability just to shift his feet very quickly and quka I said he hasn’t put a foot wrong but he gets sold by that dummy he’ll take nothing away from it Gio’s J’s movement the swivel of the hips it send any Defender is so clinical in those situations when putting goal what’s he going to do is he going to side foot it is he going to lash it he’s just going to place it in that bottom left down Corner slaming away from lukic it’s a lovely ball as well and Leno had to be right on his toes didn’t he it comes to Salah straighted AI in a painful spot it would seem fall for this little shimy and then he catches one reion he did well to clear that he did they’re queuing up here in Liverpool red Fulham putting up the shutters and oh Allison saves and they just about swatted away Elliot again Leno’s after it jot is there too Salah shouts of hands and the decision goes against [Applause] Liverpool and that is that the end of a pulsating afternoon at anfield in which the Premier League continues to deliver it’s another Liverpool game that produces drama from beginning to end the title race takes another twist as the league leaders are held in their own backyard and fulham’s season continues to hit the heights they were truly impressive today but so were Liverpool a man down after the red card shown to Andy Robertson a match that ebbed and flowed had much to discuss us and much to enjoy and a fair bit to endure for both sides as well along the way so much for both sides to take out of the game not least an all
