🕵️‍♂️ Transcript:

he’s done it one chance one goal the reigning Champions Manchester City their fourth consecutive Premier League defeat but the Champions responded tonight at home to Nottingham Forest an early goal and back to winning ways Tony yeah normal service resumes and uh great performance great goals great header um good movement at home uh very positive great attitude bance back everything you you think that you know they’re not going to give it up the current Champions you know this is a great finish is uh the stuck it in the top Corner um pulled it beautifully played Silva they don’t really need the uh the anchor the Midfield player at home he’s not so important but away from them they they certainly do and have been missing that but that’s a great goal as well great finish one of yours a it Michael yeah know that was that was really good it’s lovely to see Kevin De Bry in the back obviously assist and a and a goal there uh his strike for the second goal was was an absolute Beauty you wouldn’t want anybody else in that position would would you he just seemed to strike it so much cleaner than most people power accuracy lovely and that doaku finish the finisher off was was nice as Tony says I think it’s really when they have control when they’re at home when they’re in control of the ball all their problems seem to go away so um yeah it looks like they’re back back to winning ways back into the top four at least and here are the thoughts of Pep guardo pep what a win how much did you need that yeah definitely we need it after many many games with that winning of course we need it yeah what was different about tonight to recent performances we won what else what else worked well we won we make a performance who play really good who could not win so we won after that everything is nice great to see Kevin ayne back in the starting lineup back amongst the goal how good was he tonight I was a excellent especially first half even the second so really really good the president so when his fit like he can play is so important for us have been not today so many many years since arriv from from Germany so have been a an incredible influential player in our game great goal from Jeremy Dau as well what a clinical finish all the city fans certainly enjoyed that one yeah was yeah was a really really good one and have to prove it more so have ability in the final third to you know to dribble and have this quality hopefully can continue but we know that with this amount of pictures Jer is always like Nathan is a little bit risky because his physicality is they struggle to to maintain every three days how do you think Jack reers got on in that Central role tonight really good he help us to extra passes the composer when he should accelerate he accelerated when he has be more composer more pass he has done it so um yeah he played really good he fought he he helped us um we had good good situations I think we we went for the game we try we try to press and and recover the ball of course when you try there’s always moment that you are not so balanced and so organized um and we Face a very good team the quality individually the the way the clinical um so yeah let’s learn from it yeah I mean it’s it’s it’s hard I mean we said didn’t we how good aside Manchester City were going to be at some point they were going to come out of their slump weren’t they and tonight it seemed they they were kind of hitting their straps going forward tough to tough to deal with when they have players in form lot they did have yeah today they they play good and we must recognize but U I can honestly not say that we didn’t play good we tried we tried um there were moments in the game that could change the whole atmosphere year could change the game we didn’t we didn’t achieve it we had chances but we didn’t achieve it but um I’m positive of the desire of the way we went and we try uh that was the main purpose to challenge ourselves and and compete and I think the boys compete well uh with mistakes of course but there’s a lot of good things also that we must take on board and and and and grow and improve you mentioned some chances and there was a there was one minute in the first half wasn’t it when Chris Wood is threw one-on-one didn’t hit the target and then within a minute Kevin De bruyne makes it 2-0 that’s a that’s a crucial minute in the game isn’t it yeah yeah yeah even before I think Morgan also has a good situation that goalkeeper makes an amazing save also but that can change that can change also but um like you said we had and they were clinical and and after that result uh becomes very hard time even at 2-0 down at halftime start of the second half you really came out and and looked as if you were having a go and the third goal was always going to be important in the game yeah or or us going back in the game going back and we had we had we had good situation I think the the beginning of second half is very good very good we we were dominant we control we playing in their Midfield um creating questions to them um too bad we didn’t do it um but after that of course third goal kills the game halim you took Ryan Yates off and and made that change was was Ryan injured or was that a tactical thing from you tactical tactical tactical uh I think we have to think about a lot of things okay including Manchester United next up on the other side of the city and not a lot of time between this one tonight and all the hard yards you’ve put in tonight up here to recover and get ready for the next one that’s it’s a short turnaround yeah um not not too much time to to stay and and complain about or think about let’s go for the next one it’s going to be a tough one but but um the boys are are going to be ready for it I guess they’ll be down tonight but as you’ve said they shouldn’t be too down they’ll be down about the result but not perhaps about the performance definitely I think I must look at the game better analyze better but uh my feeling is that um the boys tried that was the main idea let’s let’s let’s try and they they they give it all in the pitch uh the risks that involve playing a a team like City with space behind our back but um we solve a lot of situations that uh that we should to be positive and say okay uh when we are under the the the result when you want to go for the game we still have arguments to do to it it’s good it’s good was a different feeling uh to recent weeks uh that’s the up and cominging games next up Palace away they have still lost their last three away League games uh of course but they needed to win at all cost tonight they have a small step in the right dire action for the Champions I think they need stones for me I’d get you know the anchor in that um I’d put him pop him into that Rod re position and uh try and stabilize it away from home like you say they’ve lost three away games it doesn’t seem to matter that that great deal uh at home but away from home I think they really need that that strength in in depth because uh they’ve really missed that and I think if they Jones Jon Stones possibly could do that he’s used him in the past in there use greish today you know on the ball he opens up doors but I think you need some stability Dean rice you know in there they miss that yeah I think so I I think in certain games certainly at home and you’ve got all the ball you don’t really need that six um you know that number six that holding midfielder um you can play lots of ball players you know you can get your Kevin De bruyne you can get your David Silva you you know you so you your Silvers in and and but I just think that in the big games you need that type that Tony’s on about so we’ll see what happens um Rod is going to be out for a long time so they’re going to have to fix it somehow Tony great to have you with us great to see you again my friend Michael thank you as always the chasing pack one the Rarity though Liverpool didn’t see you where do you think man city will end up in the Premier League table this season Manchester City Football Club have unexpectedly fallen from Grace losing four Premier League fixtures in a row before today’s game this form continues in their defeat to sporting 41 in the bizar match against fard in the Champions League when they led by three goals and ends in a draw it is an understandable excuse that their Talisman The ballondor Winner rodri had a long-term injury add to that the injury to his deputy kovich and also to their most creative player Kevin De bruyne who has yet to start a game since a couple months ago but for the Champions four in a row team with six titles under Pep Guardiola no one should give them a pass they have one of the most impressive and talented bench in the league so it is actually not that surprising that they won today at home against Nottingham Forest scoring three goals in the clean sheet to boot till today the team has been out of sorts lacking in confidence and speed and Pep Guardiola in his illustrious career had never been in a rut like they before does the result today means that Manchester City are truly and surely back to winning ways could they kick off from now and proceed to string matches of unbeaten runs like they did in the past Seasons we will have to wait and see but today’s performance reminded the rest of the pack that Manchester City might be back to their form and could always challenge for the title again the league leaders Liverpool and nine points ahead of City though it will be quite hard to catch up added by the fact that Liverpool are playing their best games currently although they draw against Newcastle at their ground the fact that there are still 24 games to go in the season means that there is plenty of time for chops and changes especially with the unpredictability of the Premier League the super computer opter analyst predicts Manchester City to finish fourth behind Liverpool Chelsea and Arsenal would Man City be able to catch up and prove them wrong there certainly is time enough to do that we thought that could at least come Runners up if not catch Liverpool which is hard to imagine at the moment where do you think Manchester City will finish at the end end of the season kindly make your predictions below [Music]
