Premier League defeats for Ruben’s Reds and with the next game home tie here with Newcastle uh we’re hoping that we can turn the corner before the end of 20124 Welcome to match day review we’ll bring you some reaction from molu as soon as we get it here in the studio I’m join by two former Reds Samy maroy and Danny Simpson welcome both uh Sammy another difficult day for us absolutely um I thought the first half tonight I thought was quite even quite entertaining and we had our moments maybe just a little bit more quality in the final third we might have come in in front but halftime Sly minute or whatever what it is so early on in the second half we get Ascend and off and that that puts us up against it and uh you know Bruno you know it was it was stupid it was a stupid decision from him already being booked in the first half um trying to retrieve the ball when he lost it and kicks out at the Ws boy and right away sent off we’re down to 10 man we got to reshape and that gives wolves more confidence to have a go at us and they come out two no win that was the big turning point of the game wasn’t it it was I think uh I said I said he I was disappointed with his first yellow man yo actually both got yellow cards in the first 15 minutes and you you playing Wolves Away so it’s going to be had Le a long 75 minutes um and when you are on a yellow you then got to be even more careful and and to do it two minutes after you know into the second half and isn’t I think it was in the middle of the pitch we didn’t need to do it okay you might have lost the ball you know it happens but you know that happens and and then obviously the rest of the lads with 10 men have been there it’s it’s a tough ask you know they tried they pushed um but ultimately the red card yeah obviously completely changed the game that last 10 minutes before the second wolves goal they really did put everything in didn’t they The Lads they were searching for an equalizer committing bodies forward you had a spell when Harry was basically we had lack of aggressivity in the in the last third but we are controlling the game um we lose some some possession um near the the Midfield uh and they have some opportunities it’s not big opportunities but um I think it was our fault in that in that moment and then the second half is um we start the second half with a new idea trying to to change um things that we didn’t do so well in the first half and then with the send off changed the game but even that uh we suffer a goal and then we try to to to score we were near more near the the draw than the Wolves make the the second one in the in in in the last play we were desperate to to try to win to to to to score a goal to to at least win um a point and do suffer the second one there are positives to take from it they’re hard to see aren’t they when you’ve lost another game of football but there are definite signs of progression in this side yeah but we we we need time also to to train is is we knew it that when when when we start we start this we just have to play um three three days and it’s hard to to to put all the ideas um we are improving of course but with the results is hard to see for us and for for our defense is is really disappointed but we have to continue and we already knew that was is going to be really tough in the first moment and then we are going to improve you never see anybody score direct from a corner and it’s happened now to us twice in the space of two weeks and that’s difficult to take isn’t it yeah yeah of course and but for me when you touch the goalkeeper in the air he not on the floor is not is in the air it’s really hard for them to to catch one ball to touch the ball even the the the small touch in your in the back when you are jumping can can make the difference I think it was again um the same situation Newcastle next at least their opportunities are coming to fix the problems you get more games to be able to do it I know that you want some time on the training ground but there is an opportunity to fix we have to be competitive we have to prepare very well the game against a very uh strong team in the difficult moment so we have to do it it’s um we have to face the the problems thanks Ruben thank you thank you he’s always very balanced isn’t he Reuben and uh he does have his end goal insight and like we said Samy it will take a while to get there he’s learning a lot about the players on this journey I think that’s what it is so you can see that you can see he’s hurting so you can see he’s not happy with certain things and you know he’s he’s on about the games coming here thick and fast well this is a Premiership unfortunately it’s not just man united it’s every team that goes through these games at this stage of the the season you know three games and whatever but uh you can say he knows what’s wrong and uh the only way to to stop it is to work very very hard out on the training field yeah even though whatever time you’ve got you still got to work as hard as you kind of sort it out he wants more time but unfortunately here in the Premiership you don’t get it no do you think he’s surprised at just how tough it is um probably I think he’s um like you said he you you come it’s hard you come into a club or a new team in the middle of a season you know playing on managers now you want preseason you get all your ideas all you know all the time friendlies and he’s coming and but that’s he knew that when he took the job it’s every three days Relentless and the scope is on man united and scope is on them players but there’s also mistakes happening that that that that we can Rectify uh I think the the goal today you know you got two players on Onana I think you can recognize that and help him and push them out as Defenders but we don’t know what what what conversations are being had in in the in the team meetings and all that so I think there’s things that we that we can do um to stop some of the goals that we are conceding yeah since the good win against Everton five defeats in seven it’s a difficult run isn’t it a very very difficult run and um and and he knows this that’s such a big club and expectations or skyh high here and you got to come to terms with that very quickly cuz you know where we are at the table and we talked about this last it’s unacceptable for Manchester United being where we are and it’s going to be a difficult job for the man there’s no doubt about that but but you know we’ve got to give him a chance he he’s positive he knows he’s telling everyone what’s wrong but at the end of the day we got to stop it okay let’s get the postmatch thoughts of our commentators Liam and Ben uh Ben difficult really I’ve just spoken to Ruben Amarin and he disappointed as you can imagine again it’s a a game where United were really dominant for half an hour but didn’t make any of the chances count and we find ourselves on a two-nil loss yeah um I don’t think that there were any real clearcut chances even in the half hour that they were dominating although you know they did have a a line share of The Possession and you want more to show for it
