onepoint halftime lead Oakland was shooting well above their season averages from three as you pointed out quickly on Twitter at halftime uh in the end Michigan State created some separation really strong performances in the second half Jackson kler was incredible 14 points 10 rebounds three blocks Jay nens 16 points of his own uh even had a really good Xavier Booker game and a kenpom MVP for book Off the Bench 18 points six rebounds a block he went three for five from three don’t look now cart but uh Xavier Booker over his last four games let me just make sure I have this correct here Xavier Booker over his last four games 10 and a half points a game 18 for 27 from the floor seven for 13 from three five rebounds that might be the book that was promised at one point so how you feeling after this one I could see you going both ways on this the first half was really gross and bad the second half was really good what are your thoughts yeah I mean obviously you don’t want to be in a one-point game with a really really bad basketball team in Oakland at half um and I thought that the Michigan State came out very Herky jerky in this game very we haven’t played in 10 days and I thought that was pretty prevalent uh they looked pretty like what are we doing against this Zone um and obviously DQ Cole started going off in that first half along with some other people that uh kind of kept the game close but you know there are some very very very good performances um and honestly I really want to speak on the front court for MSU like you brought it up Xavier Booker these last four games I mean 12- s 11-2 11 and seven 18- six like honestly the rebounding numbers are even more important to me than the actual scoring because we’re getting him attacking the glass we’re getting him you know uh shooting the three ball I mean he’s really doing a little bit of everything for the team he’s bringing energy it’s been really refreshing to see and I think it energizes the team seeing a guy like Booker who’s not necessarily the most emotional and some say he kind of just floats at times be basically engaged uh and play really well and then once again Jackson kler uh was just extremely productive in this basketball game has another double double we talked about what Jackson Coler is going to be able to do uh especially against front courts like this and you know his his wants and his energy um you know I think gets him in the right spots a lot of the times um you know just finishing and rebounding the basketball and then Sison zapala in his very short time period of minut I think he played 19 minutes in this basketball game let me double check that 19 19 minutes he gives you eight rebounds and six blocks Five Point like he was like that I’m taking that every single day and he was erasing [ __ ] at The Rim so um obviously he wants some better guard play in this game outside of Jay nakin I think some gu struggled from the floor for sure um and just guard playing struggled but all in all you end up winning by 19 points I guess you’ll take that I mean you’ll take a win by 19 anytime but uh after that first half I think Michigan State really came out um sent a message in the second half it just hate hate that it had to get to that point but they got to the the result that we needed are you still calling shimone big goof yeah can I give you a proposed nickname for shimone because I don’t I don’t feel like big goof is as endearing as you wanted it to be anymore especially I feel like you lost your right to give him a nickname when the whole fan base turned on you for hating on him so uh can I propose a new nickname sure big moan big shimone big moan he’s big moan every team has a big man do you got a big M Big M I I’ll tell you right now I will ever utter those words six blocks man it’s my dog big moan he was great today it was great my dog what about big zap what about big Paula every team has a big man nobody’s got a big moan has big moan man big moan six blocks he was great uh yeah no I how many times can I come on here and be like this is who Michigan state is honestly I’m gonna say this every recap for the next six games too so warn yourselves now Michigan State fans I’m already fatigued by this like when you guys do play a team that you’re just clearly better than the narrative at the end of the game is the same every single time oh you went 10 Deep everybody played 20 minutes six guys were good that’s the story of every Michigan State game like and like it’s impressive you’re deep there’s no star here but it doesn’t really matter when you play teams that are worse than you because you don’t need a star to beat Oakland and kler was incredible he was the best big on the floor other than Xavier Booker um I don’t think your guards were were very good offensively and I don’t think it mattered at all I mean we the the big shift the big thing that happened from your back court in this game was fears uh taking on DQ Cole in the second half defensively thought Fier shut him down thought he was incredible defensively um you know Hollman with a quiet night Jace was good I thought not great Jace had some uh for the first time ever I thought jaay had some passes where he was like behind the play mentally on yeah it’s it’s because the Oakland zone is so and I I really give them credit it’s such a bad Zone that like you can’t figure it out it’s just it’s so bad that I think when people see it they like for some reason they can’t figure it out but yeah there was some like um you know we talk about how Jay Richardson doesn’t really make many mistakes uh he looked a little bit behind the eightball with his reads uh in which is normal that’s fine the Oakland Zone’s weird who sparis had a horrible game against the elen Zone too why do people have such a horrible time against it I I don’t know because I think it stinks Bo State beat this team by 44 Michigan beat them in an exhibition by 50 yeah like it’s very easy um honestly I don’t think it’s that go that goes to my next point I thought we could have won this game by a lot more if we didn’t feel the need to rotate so many guys in yeah so this seems like it’s here to stay don’t necessarily think that’s good for you you guys metric metrics are a thing blowing teams out is good we don’t the yesterday we would get up 20 and then we be like oh yeah Carson Cooper time and Oakland cuts at the seven like it it was it was evident there like there was in the and honestly even Coen Carr looked extremely lost in his 16 minutes in this basketball game whether hey hey no he didn’t s he did so did and so did Franklin like hey hey apologize right now the staff rotations killed killed Vibes and killed runs for this team in this pleas apologize right now no Cohen Carr is a blossoming half court offensive monster and he was honestly Trey holl’s fault for not you know obviously I respect I always stand up put my put my hand over the chest when the jigon is playing right I respect to my my Jiggy Jiggy T raw here but uh he couldn’t throw to my dog in this game honestly I thought Cohen Carr needed more opportunities in this game I think uh you can’t blame him for going 0 for four and 16 minutes in the half court he’s you just got to get him going he’s too important to this team he’s been too good this season in the half court um just yeah not his fault at all I I stand with Cohen he’s gonna be fine um okay I want to do this with your rotation stuff because of two two ways to approach this but for starters can we go guy by guy and I’d like to read you the number of minutes they played and I want you to tell me could they have played more minutes in this game and and fine like who do you think is maxed out on like what they can play you know what I mean yeah okay Jackson kler played 25 minutes can he play more minutes than that uh that feels about right why because I thought you could have gave well actually hold on a second let me look at the the bench real quick so there there’s a conundrum coming which I’ll talk about at the end of my Spiel here but like well I guess honestly more but for for starters here cart this is my general Point Coler has been so good I don’t get why you would want to limit him to 25 like I think he’s he’s clearly the best front Court option here and to me he’s he’s the reason your team is Elite rebounding team he’s not in foul trouble I like the argument for keeping him at 25 would either have to be somebody off the bench is giving you great minutes which Booker did in this game and that’s a problem we’ll talk about like cuz Coler and Booker play the same spot you got to find a way to play those two together I think for this to really have upside but for me I I just I guess I I look at everybody on this team I don’t think there’s a guy that’s like maxed out kler could play 30 minutes and I think is probably deserving of 30 minutes Jay na is playing 24 minutes why why why do you not want that guy playing 32 uh Jeremy fears is at 24 I mean he could play more I I would argue I’d rather see more Akens than than more Jeremy fears but but don’t you think eventually those will go up when they’re playing better teams I don’t know I’m worried about it dog because y’all when you blew out Nebraska Minnesota you did this I think this is just what ISO thinks works and let me let me let me check like a a close game well to to an extent card it does work like it is I think what the identity of this team is it is what makes you special that you’re really deep but I think you can be really deep without an equal distribution right it doesn’t need to be 10 guys at 20 it could be like two guys at 30 six guys at 20 two guys at 10 yeah I mean to put it put it simply here yes I would like the best players on the team to play more minutes yeah and no one is playing m like who’s even the minutest leader on this basketball team aens with let me see let me look this up real quick yeah Akens is leading the team in minutes with 27 I mean you guys are ninth in the country in bench minutes so you you play more equal opportunity than anything but and that is that’s a cute stat but let me let me make something very clear our bench ain’t that good it we got I mean we got guys contributing but our bench ain’t that good where our bet like we should be we should be that high I think I think your top eight is very like interchangeable and that’s what’s special but yeah you lose me when you go from like top eight to top 10 because Coupe was horrible in this game yeah CP Coupe is playing 14 minutes a game right now and you tweeted about it where are you at with C he should not take his warm-up off I don’t think Personnel wise you need him right because you could just give his minutes to col and Z you do not like I’m I’m sorry you do not need him with the with the players we have and he has like when he to here I could I could get there with it if he was getting on the court and just being there but he’s getting on the court and he’s a negative when he touches the basketball floor and given who else is on the team him him playing 14 minutes does just does not add up to me whatsoever given you have he’s clearly the worst big you don’t have to play him yeah yeah he’s had uh three years to get better at this point I still think the best stretch of basketball we’ve seen from him was in the NCA tournament um his freshman year now mind you I would push back on that stretch being anything special he had six points and four rebounds in a game in the NCA tournament and we were all like wow so okay that’s what you got here he was on img’s B Team probably should not have ever been in a Michigan State uniform has been stretched thin to rules that I don’t think he’s been good enough for it’s not his fault but yeah I he’s playing less minutes already than he did last year so that should tell you like there are better options here um to me it’s a very simple fix with that though right like 12 minutes went to Cooper just give six of them to Jackson get him to 31 minutes give six of them to zapala get him to 25 minutes everything’s fixed those guys can both handle that and I think like part of the push back on doing that is uh DK was making this point in the Discord most of Ker’s emergence has been playing the power forward spot but you still had nine minutes in this game without zapala or Cooper on the floor so somebody was playing Center whether that’s Coler or Booker and I don’t think it hurt you I don’t think you look noticeably worse without zapala or Cooper on the floor in this game and again to me you look at this roster right now Booker’s emergence has been awesome to see ker being so great has been incredible all the upside is tied into those two with respect to zapala and if we’re sitting here saying after a game like this kler played 25 minutes Booker played 17 so you combined got 42 minutes from kler and Booker on a night where they combined just to be clear they combined for 32 points and 16 rebounds and four blocks and you played them 42 minutes you could play you could play those guys 70 minutes if you wanted to and you’re not and I do think that’s an issue for this team because to me if you want to go from high floor team to high ceiling team those two have to be able to play together yeah and and and the the thing for me is it’s easy because their play is warranting more minutes this isn’t like wishful thinking like they’re they are being very productive in the minutes that they’re playing give them more minutes especially given especially given who’s on the team yeah you are not required to put like I feel like sometimes ISO treats he treats Cooper Menace like it’s a requirement like you can’t get you can’t get to the end of the game unless he gets in and that’s not the case yeah sh like like if I’m if I’m zapala in this game I’m like why did I only play what what did I play 19 minutes I played 19 minutes I gave you six blocks eight boards right three assists Five Points like why am I only playing 19 minutes so you can pay Carson Cooper 14 minutes there probably is an argument that part of why some of these guys have been so productive is because they’re going like balls to the wall in the minutes they’re on the floor but I don’t think it’s that drastic right like if if this was a 10 out of 10 Coler Booker apolla game I’d rather have more minutes of those guys playing an eight out of 10 version of themselves than less minutes of them playing a 10 out of 10 so uh to me like I just gave you a very easy way to fix it with Cooper it’s 12 minutes a game give six to ker give six to zapala Boom everybody’s happy uh there’s one other change I think you need to make right now though cut down Fiddler’s minutes at the risk of uh I I may Michigan State fans might agree with me at this point so I don’t know maybe I don’t need to preface this with a precautionary statement um I think Frankie Fiddler just just cooked and I think the where this has gone in a month from ISO essentially saying yeah he’s he’s our guy I mean he said it’s him and Akens he was on record in front of cameras saying yeah Fiddler and Akens are our guys and to go from that to out of the starting lineup to you know he he played 20 minutes in I think eight of the first 10 games down to 15 16 16 in the last three and those 15 16 16 games empty minutes man empty minutes he is not really doing anything out there uh he’s not rebounding the way he was he’s he’s just out there uh to me again this this is kind of the give or take with the portal not to say that iso’s anti- portal approach is a good one but like maybe this is why ISO doesn’t love doing this because Fiddler’s gone in March no matter what respectfully you’re not developing him for anything that helps this program in the future either he’s Plug and Play ready or he’s not and he’s clearly not so do you want to go small probably not but is it more beneficial to this Michigan State team I if Fiddler isn’t better than these guys anyway right now would you rather be getting more Jace more Hollman more fears more Akens yeah of course you would so to me that’s again he played 16 minutes in this game fidler gave you two points on Two Shots three rebounds two turnovers I think he’s basically unplayable right now like every time he’s out there he’s noticeably just just in the way yeah and uh if I were you that’s what I would do we talk about how can you fix this rotation not that it needs to be fixed because your depth is so impressive but your depth would be more impressive if you trimmed Cooper and gave your best guys some more minutes and then take Fiddler’s 16 minutes get Akens up eight from 24 minutes to 32 a game I think he deserves that get Jace Richardson up eight from 20 minutes to 28 minutes a game keep everything else the same fears is still playing 24 Hollman is still playing 20 I I think your team is infinitely better if you just make that change go eight deep you’re still extremely deep like do you am I on the right track with this and do you think that ISO is GNA get there I mean you know I’ve been asking for a a cut of of fidler’s minutes just given how his style of play just kills stuff man it really does if he’s not getting to the free throw line I really don’t think that he offers anything and now his rebounding has gone down so he’s really not offering much at all um and the last three games you can make an argument that the Minnesota ones weren’t as empty but it’s just it’s 16 empty minutes every single game that you don’t owe him and you know if he was doing something to push your hand then you assess it but I just I don’t think he’s offering much on the defensive end I don’t think he’s offering much offensively uh it was visible last night that he did not know what to do he didn’t know what I he didn’t know what to do off the rip I knew he didn’t know what to do when he caught in the middle of the zone and he like took one dribble and traveled and looked over Panda ISO and he’s like shoot the effing ball and he did not know what to do in the basketball game so you don’t have to play that guy 16 minutes yeah yeah it’s uh it’s interesting for sure um I don’t think iso’s gonna make any changes to this though I might be wrong on that and uh I should probably give ISO the benefit of the doubt because again I keep saying this I think ISO has been perfect this year I mean go back to the offseason with the way he set up this schedule with how he has sort of balanced guys in and out how he’s kept everyone happy the cultural decisions he made Personnel wise um I think he’s been pretty Flawless so when we say like yeah there’s something that needs to be done here if if the first month’s any indication ISO will make the right decision but I at the same time I can also see this kind of being the first moment where there is a fork in the road and he draws the line and says you know what no we’re we’re 10 Deep everybody gets 20 minutes all season that doesn’t change do you think it’s going to change or not I mean my heart of hearts if I’m taking a bet on this one I I’d say it doesn’t change unfortunately um at least not to the maybe the extent honestly honestly my greatest hope is that it just changes a little um that I think that’s the more realistic outcome of it but you know maybe ISO will surprise me maybe maybe he’s got surpris bece um any anything else important from this game I got a big picture thing I want before this ends but I guess I the shooting stuff again you were vocal about it at halftime on Twitter I saw um what were they they they’re like one of the worst shooting teams in the country and they shot like what 37% in the first half or something 40 40 okay Finish 35 and do you think bad luck for you bad defense what do you make of it a little bit a little bit of both um especially like had a Purdue fan on your ass and we called out Purdue for that and then you were using it yeah because this is I’ll I’ll tell you the difference of it though here’s here’s how it differs in this in that sense um Purdue fans use it as an excuse like they’ll never say anything bad about their defense or anything bad about how they’re playing it’s always some it’s always just somebody else is doing something that they have no control over um and look DQ Cole was hitting some some wild stuff like there there’s guys hitting shots like just shooting the ball in Rhythm DQ Cole was hitting like 32 foot step back jumpers which credit to him he did um I just didn’t see that coming uh but look I wasn’t blaming it on that I was just stating the fact that this team was or mainly DQ Cole was just extremely hot from three uh to start this game and part of that was Michigan State’s fault like once he hits that first step back maybe get higher of a hand up which they did but like you eventually you can’t just say oh credit to him for hitting shots n it’s DQ Cole get up in him don’t let him take that which fears did which I think points me more toward like you could have prevented it in the first half yeah than like any sort of bad luck here um also I would just point this out I know you used the numbers from this year and we we talked about him in the preview Cole’s in year two at Oakland he shot 36 % from three last year on 130 shots so like so he’s got so he’s got he has that one out of nowhere yeah like I I think pointing at the first month of this year where he shot 28% would be as misleading as using aens shooting 20% be like why did he make five threes like he’s a good shooter that’s been shooting portly um again and I I don’t know I think both these teams teams that have started the first month of the Season historically bad from three like we we aren’t sitting here surprised that Michigan State’s starting to make threes right so I don’t think we should be surprised that Oakland’s going to either like if you start that bad you’re probably gonna get better and I don’t think this is like a Oakland shot the lights out game maybe just the first half yeah just the first half and then and that got him down one like we we still should have pulled away to be honest with you um even with DQ Cole doing that should have been like a 42 to 30 game at half yeah little little iffy losing my voice right now can you carry for a second of course I can um I just want to speak to Something in general about Michigan State basketball look there’s a there’s a stretch of games that are coming up here uh that I mean that we’re currently in honestly um that are that are going to be very winnable basketball games right we got fa at home um I think then we got Western who’s a bad basketball team Dwayne Steven Super Bowl um um like there’s there’s you looked at the schedule at Ohio State Ohio State’s struggling right now that’s like it’s we have a stretch of winnable basketball games coming up here um obviously at Northwestern that’s always we talk about Welsh Ryan that place is always tough to play but um you know Michigan State it’s going to be hard to find out or take away broadly what this team is probably until that game versus Illinois on the 19th in my opinion um so you know I think everyone just enjoy this win basketball games because you’re the better basketball team and then we can leave the sweeping judgments and how we feel about this team as a whole for later in the year wait and see yeah not going to do that for the rest of this video I’m gonna start doing the sweeping judgments question for you um but kudos to you for trying and thank you for carrying for a moment um yeah you you took a page out of my team’s playbook in the first month though cart what have I’ve been saying was the theme of migan season like an iffy performance but you cover usually a sign of a pretty good team I thought Michigan state was iffy and they cover that’s what good teams do if you play bad and you still outperform the expectation it’s a pretty good sign for Michigan State um okay so this is the big picture thing I want to get to and I’m sorry I have a cough drop in my mouth if I sound awful it’s cuz I’m sick right now but uh Hey Michigan State fans need their Greg wadell talking about their team content I will never let him down there uh okay DK who is now in the debates that turned into more bigger picture stuff and DK at one Point had a statement that was basically just like yes the schedule is what it is we got to wait and see but bottom line this team is better than last year’s team and I was like whoa let do a quick pulse check on this I don’t want to blow this up into a bigger thing but now here we are talking about it on our show so maybe it’s a bigger thing now um I’ll give you my interpretation and I want your thoughts I think it’s very possible that this year’s team is better than last year’s team I think I would bet on this year’s team going further in March than last year’s team I don’t think they’ve done anything that proves it yet and I think saying definitively like this year’s team is better is much more about the schedule they’ve played than anything they’ve actually done so far um quick points on this from my side you’re worse on kenpom than you finished last season you’re two spots right now behind where you were last year so I I feel like you know when I ask like what what tells you this team is better it’s a mix of Vibes and eye test and I understand Vibes being better Vibes just means hog guard’s gone you guys hated AJ and motty sorry I’m dying but like I love that you’re fighting through you get what I’m saying like it just like I think the reality is last year people’s dislike for those two players and the way they played made everyone sour much worse than last year’s team really was last year’s team what what’s the facer making sorry because I’m scrolling the Discord trying to catch up here are we having Tyson Walker is worse than Jace debates yeah somebody in the Discord said said that Jace would be able to do what Tyson did last year if he was in the same role why do why do Michigan State fans do this why do we have to disrespect what Tyson carried this basketball team right L legit carried this basketball team we don’t make the tournament without Tyson Walker like the streak that everyone loves so much that is not happening if Tyson Walker doesn’t come back and suit up that’s so disrespectful but also like if if Tyson Walker was on this team he’d be in the same role I want to be clear like if you have a player capable of doing what Tyson can do you feature him you know right exactly the T I’m sorry the Tyson disrespect gets to me well that was just one strand of this whole overarching conversation my larger point is this last year’s team was very unlikable and the reality is I know people don’t like to do this basketball is more than just wins and losses like last year’s team lost 15 games that was more games than they should have lost they lost a lot of close games he lost at Illinois by three you lost at Minnesota by three you lost at home to Ohio State by three you lost at Indiana by one you lost at home to Purdue by six he lost Pur in the Big 10 tournament by five the whole season was toss up games and usually like a good team should win those but I guess the point is like you know at the end of the year you were a nine seed that was really UND seated cart that was evidenced by what you did in the NCA tournament when you smacked Missippi State you destroyed an eight seed by 20 so I think just narratively I understand why it’s happened but there’s this belief in the Michigan State fan base that this year’s team took some massive step forward from last year’s team when in reality there’s nothing substantial or analytical or any way to measure that that has actually happened you like stylistically you might like it more they’re playing faster they’re getting more young guys in you don’t have to watch motty fumble the ball anymore you don’t have to watch AJ’s bad body language anymore but you know sitting here 11 games into a season I don’t mean to discredit you because I think you are the 20th is best team in the country that’s good I don’t think you’ve beaten an NCA tournament team unless sford wins their conference like nor North Carolina’s six and five right now so it’s not to discredit you because again you’re gonna win your next five games and we’re gonna have to do this dance for a month but if you dropped last year’s team into this year with this schedule they’re nine and two right now I strongly believe that and you can argue maybe one game flips way or the other I don’t know if you Dro this year’s team last year’s schedule where you played Duke and Arizona and the road game at Nebraska instead of a home game like they’re probably not far off there’s probably a slow start so like if you ask me straight up who wins the team with Tyson Walker versus this year’s team I think it’s a tossup game like I very close and again this year’s team could be better in March I believe believe that I think this next month is critical because you’re going to build a lot of momentum with a lot of wins that get this team really believing in themselves but I guess I would just caution people a little bit if you are feeling like this year’s team is so much further ahead than last year the analytics don’t show that and if the reason is is really ey test I test after a game where you let Oakland by one at half I test after a month of the where you couldn’t make a shot like I the eye test has not told me this team is way better than last year’s team and um I don’t know maybe I’m being overly critical here but where do you stand on all this because it was an interesting debate in the Michigan State Channel well I mean it for me I don’t know you for I mean you always just got to play the games that are on the schedule and beat the teams in front of youed this way for a reason right this Michigan State team is benefiting from a soft schedule that’s fine to say right then that’s okay that’s how they scheduled you should this is what this team should be right this is where I think they should be at um now you start doing the whole like last year thing I I I think when people say ey test they really just mean they don’t have to watch they didn’t like watching AJ hogart play basketball that’s that’s the real Tech that that’s the eye yeah they didn’t like watching those guys play basketball so those guys are gone and they are they automatically enjoy and think this team is is better to watch or eye test type things um I think if you like you said if you put last year’s basketball team versus this year’s basketball team it’s a tossup I’m probably taking the team with Tyson Walker like that’s that’s where I’m gonna go with that um because Tyson was incredible for that basketball team um now the shooting starting to Trend in a positive direction at least at least positively compared to what it was to start the year so if you want to eye test it in a small s Le size the shooting has been on an upward trajectory in like the last probably six games or something like that but I don’t know you the the the frustrating part about this argument I guess or which which side you’re on is that you’re literally going to have to wait a month probably no you’re gonna have to wait you’re gonna have to wait a month now I would maybe push back and be like you know because you’re playing at Northwestern and I’m not even sure where Northwestern is currently like rankings Wise kampon Wise or anything like that but any game at Northwestern um I mean we’ve seen great Michigan State teams go to Northwestern get absolutely dog walked Michigan State last year got dog walked at Northwestern now that was with boo buoy but um yeah you you’re really gonna have to wait a month to I think make any sweeping judgments about you know this year’s team or last year’s team well we can we can say this like we’re saying last year because I think we’re saying a month a month and we’re talking about the Illinois game right on the 19th yeah we’re saying you gota wait till the Illinois game but Michigan State last year beat one of the best Illinois teams that they’ve had in a long time I will say this there’s six games before Illinois FAU Wu Ohio state Washington Northwestern Penn State at Ohio State at Northwestern last year’s Michigan State team would not go six and0 in that stretch so if we if we get to the Illinois game and Michigan State really is 15-2 6-0 I won’t have any push back I guess where I’m cautioning people is don’t expect that that’s just going to happen here and I don’t think most Michigan State fans are but it’s just kind of fascinating to me like more than any other program we cover there is a belief from the Michigan State fan base that this team’s way better than last year and I understand why but that is not what the analytics show and I like I think even DK said like I use kenpom sometimes you got to throw out kenpom Ryan Lion’s been like yeah I don’t trust kenpom all season so like I don’t know look last year kenpom said Michigan state was better than they are and I think everyone agreed that was wrong so I I don’t know I am a guy that kind of blindly trusts this stuff like last year’s team lost a lot of close games that’s an issue this year’s team has earned it but they survived their close games thus far right like you you won the North Carolina game that ended up being a toss up um the sford game was was close in the second half and you pulled away late like last year’s team probably doesn’t last year’s team ends up losing to JMU last year’s team probably loses in overtime to North Carolina and that does say something it says something about this team maybe mentally being in a different spot but I guess what I’m saying is again we we’re GNA have to answer a lot of these questions in the future I am buying this team as a group but yeah there’s there’s some stuff here that’s a little if we’re going off ey test I mean Jackson ker dominating Horizon League front leue front courts if that’s the main root of the ey test that we’re buying right now I might want to sell High a little bit you know yeah I like like I said I’m not I’ve been I’ve been trying to not even do like the last year this year thing because it’s it’s an argument that you can’t even like wait for for another month in my eyes I’m I’m just kind of enjoying this ride yeah like I I I just like winning basketball games like do I want to win by more yeah do I want to blow out Oakland by 25 plus yeah I think we should have but like I’ll I’ll take winning basketball games always especially especially now given what we have given that stretch in February that we’re going to have win these ones because there’s not going to be guarantees once we get to
