I mean what were your thoughts into the way your team played and never quit never gave up uh definitely I mean before the game it was a real punch in the gut to say the least um you know just because of the you know the way the Washington Philadelphia game went um but you know I you know you just kind of take that moment to sit back and watch and you know watch how the guys warmed up watch the interactions in the locker room and you know it wasn’t much different than a than a normal game so and you know then you’re um you just want to you know keep your mind in it too you know and and stay focused you know and and I tell you I thought our guys did a hell of a job I mean the only thing we really changed was you know we came into the game and you know we have a game management meeting every Friday and you know have a plan on you know the coin the coin uh the coin toss and you know the decision was to defer uh today just you know just based off the the variables we go through and then we just said hey let’s take the ball and let’s get up get going and and get this thing started the right way so you know I thought it was good the offense went out there and you know got some points on the board but you know I just love I just love the way our team plays I just can’t say enough about the locker room you know their pride their character their toughness you know resiliency um defense I mean had to have it with those with the takeaways here in the fourth quarter I mean it’s remarkable uh just to just to see the bounce back you know and give Tamp a lot of credit I have a lot of respect for Todd I mean that’s that’s a hell of a football team um you know offensively you know we were able to get some points on the board um near the first half but boy you know we just you know their run defenses you know there was there was a grind um there was definitely not a bright spot for us but you know when teams play to one another you know like we have been the past month you win games and and that’s and that’s the reality of this league it’s so hard to win a game in this league um but I just can’t say enough about the character of our football team and um really was no blink so I think once we got the once we got the game kicked off we just kind we fell into the way we planned on playing regardless of what happened U before we went out there that’s that’s what it felt like we saw a video of Jerry hugging you and giving you a talk in the locker room can you talk to Sher what he said and and this uh that’s Jerry hugs me all the time I don’t know why it’s such a big deal but it’s late but uh no I was I mean it’s it’s uh winning is hard I mean this is uh you know this this is you know it’s a partnership um so yeah we just um talked about the game and uh just uh just what a great effort it was you know from the players and coaches and just how proudy you know how proud he is of the team Mike Todd for the ESPN did you acknowledge before the game the what happened with Washington and Philadelphia the players already know I did not I think everybody you know I would say just the way you know people arrived here you know I get here early so um and just you know like I said you know I just sat back and watched as as as people uh arrived and there wasn’t a whole lot of conversation about it uh probably more one-on-one you know it wasn’t I didn’t think it was something that needed to be addressed cuz um you know frankly I just wanted to you know check it and go and I just you know I made the point for the game hey we you know just play the way we always play you know we’ve been playing really damn good football this past four or five weeks stack success it’s let’s grind this thing out it’s they’re playing you know just some of the things we talked about this morning in the team meeting so yeah like I said the only got changed was taking the taking the football that was that was the only adjustment we made and then Nick vigil having to come in and play for Kendricks I don’t know if he’s practiced much at all during the season for you no just the schedule he’s on you know he’s he’s in the rehab group but I just think it shows you where he is as a football player you know very cerebral um but man it’s so instinctive um you know he’s he’s he’s been super impressive just as you stated you know Wednesday was a you know in season or a winter schedule Wednesday so but yeah he doesn’t do the the heavy day because of what he’s dealing with uh so very impressive performance tonight s use of the athletic mik all right so keeping the group together Mike McCarthy in a locker room that’s feeling a whole lot different than one that usually has the air of one one that had their playoff hopes dashed on this day Michel Parsons always offers hope we’ll see what they can get done contractually for Parsons who gets his 50th career sack took him 61 games one of the fastest all time Cooper Rush postgame
