after his ACL uh we knew the talent the leadership the skill that he has so he’s been in great form and know he give us something very very different to any other football that we have in the team and his impact has been tremendous I think you have an incredible record from 22 goals from Corners since the start of last season is clearly getting under the skin of opposition teams the most annoying man in football but what have you made of the attention on your coaching side well that is great obviously that when we are very good at a lot of things um we take it as a compliment and just as a as a fuel to to be better because we are not perfect at all even in that department or defending at P we can see three chances the three of them were coming from that kind of situation so there is a lot to improve and the margins are always there for us to explore and and try to get better ask inall in the past we’ had instances where the per around things has changed with nutrition P playing the back do you think what we’re experiencing now with set pieces we s SE a change in how people five 10 years people might talk very about no I think it’s something that changed 10 11 years ago I would say not only what is related to set pieces but all the rests of play I remember a lot of big teams that have won a lot of games aot lot of important games a lot of last minute games in these kind of scenarios you look at the Champions League all the data is there it has hasn’t changed that much the importance of that because of the margins are smaller and smaller because the competition is harder probably people put more attention into that but um yeah you have to dominate everything can ask about your your back staff Heards TI down to to new contracts how important is that when you obviously signed your new deal how important was it you that they also yeah we all try to to do it at the same time it’s difficult because it’s always four or five people that have to commit at the same time it’s not easy to do it but I’m so happy with them I value them at the highest level and um and yeah we want to continue together so hopefully will be celebrate soon atic you mentioned 10 11 years ago set became a thing just as you were finishing as a player I just wondered when did you realize yourself that it was under value in football and how how did you come you set the SP so much probably when I was a player because I understood I was at evson I understood how important they were how difficult it was for the position as well and then when I came here as well and we had a period that in some big matches as well we suffer and then we were out and uh and then I went to City and I immediately realized that we had to do something about it and and continue to do that I think before just tell the two were introduced no I to do a lot of digging but in relation to that in relation to individual development I think it’s an area as well that it was not explored enough in my opinion um one of the evolutions that in my opinion the game was going to have and and try to be always ahead when we can to to try to maximize those opportunities just any part thinking yeah it was very tough decision obviously to let him me go especially because personally I feel really grateful what he did for the club and for me in a period of time that I think he was instrumental to change something around it uh but at the end you know players have to play he had a lot of difficult moments as well a lot of his struggles with injuries when when we together and he needed a fresh start it’s normal we understood that and and we allowed him to go premag is there any ofet oreh no no no no we allowed Fabio to go as well because we wanted to create the room and and the space for Ethan you know and not good enough we can still improve a lot in that sense but last year we were the team in the history of this club that scor the most goals we want more we have more margin we can do things better with the defense exactly the same thing environment the same thing everything we’re going to try to improve it for sure just the success you had with it you expect your the success at the end is if we win what we want to win that’s the success if that allows you to win a game great another game great but it’s a lot of element I mean to do what we did against Manchester United to um limit them to what they did be credit to the team it never happened in the history of Manchester United so I have to put a lot of emphasis in what a lot of players did to that okay that finishes the live section we see him playing at that level very far I don’t think he’s never been a team that is a that you know so do we have the best atmosphere in the world at the stadium not yet are we in that trajectory have we improved a lot yeah do we have the best Academy in the world not yet we have the best mentality in the world not yet we want to achieve that we’re the most physical team in the world no we have the best individuals to play magic moments every three days no we are don’t it is it even possible to get I think that way you know we’re going to score three Magic Moment goals every game that’s objective that’s a project we score one it’s good we want two then three it’s not going to happen overnight there a lot of the things that we put targets know it’s impossible no they have come royality just um in terms of teams that you no I never admire a team ADM team P admire I wouldn’t use that word yeah well they’ve been some really good team I don’t know I have to think Arsenal let’s say that brilliant identify something like because the amount of goals you score from is there something that else within the game you could tell us if you like but I’m not expecting you to but something there fundamentally that you thought can really benefit from that is there something else that you can see that you know get to tap into yeah for sure obiously when we are monitoring the team and understanding not only the team but the squad one of the main things it was the value of our Squad I mean we want to be the kings of value of the squad in the world yeah and last year I think we were probably the best in Europe so before we were so far so we need to do a lot of things to generate value in this sore to generate value in a lot of things that we do so we need to have a project and we need to work on that and we did it for three or four years and last year it was the first time the second time that we have the highest value in any squad in Europe that’s an objective and now it’s it’s a reality so it’s great to see that there a lot of people involved putting effort into things and then it happen but you have to think that way in terms of value in terms of what they do what they out the output or the actual you know the actual in every sense what they produce how they can perform what is the actual value in that market um what is the sustainability of that s you know in what kind of phase each play it is the sort is the St 11 is the academy is what is the pathway there is a lot of things that you have to to plan out because you want to make it sustainable performance and as well the capacity to to constantly evolve as a team and the demands of this game and and we are doing it are you you a manager that just looking at’s game you manager that look back upon our season you Dro three points there you Dro two points at home against F I guess there easy I mean it’s been such a strange season is it look such a strange table if you like but you can almost you know put five points in straight away can’t you do you have to look at it like that or unfortunately it’s not that easy you know because as well the opposition plays and and they Merit to to get points you haven’t been the best on that day it can be other factors as well this season has already happened so that’s it what is going unfortunately is going learn from me make sure that you are better equipped and prepared for the next one and then it’s about delivering when you have the chance to do it fin ask about your set do you think he’s enjoying all the attention that he’s getting all theit he getting he’s very visible when he comes up you know you take a step back does he enjoy all of that essenti I don’t know was the Fulfillment of his work it’s very recognizable and he needs to be very proud of that not only him as well but a lot of people that puts a lot of effort into preparation into a lot of things starting with data with analysis with video in training session a lot of the staff that participates on that and then the players that are the main protagonist at the end to deliver something saliva didn’t score the nicest goal of his career the other day look the way he celebrates it’s unbelievable look the crowd celebrates so those ugly goals are exactly same as the most beautiful one that he scor against Bournemouth same value same emotion or even higher so that’s a story and do you think with successful has created a bit of fear among your opponents now you know two Gos in the last game some capitalism I don’t know I don’t know how they would feel about it what they do that’s not in our control we have to control the things that that we can do especially the ones that we are doing really well and the things that we can improve um and in that area again
