so with the MLB off season there sure there’s a lot of signings but there’s also big trades that are made that helps to improve teams some teams are leading to rebuild so they trade away their star players that leads to a very exciting offseason you don’t really know who’s getting traded or where they’re getting traded but there’s been a couple of big trades made recently so today I’m going to be going over those trades and how it affects the rest of the market let’s get into it this trade is really big so the Chicago Cubs acquire KY Tucker in exchange for Isaac Paredes Hayden Weston and top prospect cam Smith cam Smith is a top 10 Prospect in the Cubs organization I feel like the hall is pretty good um Kyle Tucker the thing is he’s a really good player probably the most underrated player in baseball the only thing is he’s a rental he’s going to be a free agent after this season so there’s no guarantee that he’s going to resign if the Cubs don’t go all out this year I think it’s kind of a bust for them uh considering this trade I think they Lo they’re going to be The Losers of this trade if they don’t either resign him or they make a deep postseason run the Astros they got a pretty good return Isaac Paredes he’s really good at pulling the ball and Min Park they have the short uh fence at left field so that’s going to work out good for him he’s probably the replacement for Alex bregman and they also got Hayden weskin and cam Smith who um cam Smith is top prospect I think this is a pretty good haul uh I don’t know if Kyle Tucker’s value is worth a lot I think the fact that he’s going to be a free agent next year kind of brings his value down so I think this is a good trade like I said kind of confused on what the Astros are trying to do cuz are they rebuilding or they not cuz if you look they still have they still owe a lot of money to um different players like yordon Alvarez Jose Al I I think the Cubs this they get their guy this means they’re probably going to trade Cody Bellinger or SE Suzuki wonder where Bellinger and SE Suzuki are going to go the second thing was the Yankees they lost down on Wan stto woto signed a mega deal 15 years $765 million with the Mets and it’s not like the Yankees didn’t match that offer they’re very close to it it’s just I think the Mets had more incentives and they paid a little bit more money Yankees they didn’t take any time after losing on sto they’ve been really aggressive they signed Max Reed 8year $218 million contract this is the largest contract given to a left-handed starting pitcher I think it’s kind of an overpay cuz freed is injury-prone but I think this is a good move to bounce back after they lost out on their star player and also they traded for Devin Williams one of the best closers in baseball and I think they absolutely fleeced the Milwaukee Brewers they only had to give up neser Cortez and Caleb Duran with some cash considerations I feel like this is absolute steal for Devin Williams I know I think he becomes a free agent soon but still I feel like the return um a lot of teams I’m surprised he went to the Yankees with this deal cuz if this was what it took to get Devon Williams I feel like a lot of other teams especially like the Dodgers could pursue him but maybe the Dodgers have another plan maybe getting Tanner Scott but I feel like the return on this isn’t very Big Y are about to have a nasty Bullpen they have Luke they have Luke Weaver Devin Williams and Jonathan Leisa all in the back end of their Bullpen that’s a nasty 123 now it begs the questions what’s next for the New York Yankees still they’re still I don’t think they’re after this they still have spots to fill in they need uh Corner infielders they need a first baseman and a third baseman will they go for a guy like Christian Walker Pete Alonzo will they sign Alex bregman they continue make the moves that they are feel like they’ll compensate for soda’s production I think they’ll continue to be contenders finally what I want to bring up is like who next is going to get traded cuz there’s a lot of rumors like I said Cody Bellinger uh the Cubs want to dump his salary there’s been rumors for the Yankees he can play first base he can play Outfield that’s perfect for the Yankees um maybe Nolan arnado he said that he’s willing to trade to wave his no trade clause for six teams I think one of those teams were the Los Angeles Dodgers and personally as a Dodgers fan I really wouldn’t want Nolan arnado I mean sure he’s a really good Defender but his hitting produ his offensive production is declining Dodgers already have MX Muny I don’t feel like there’s a need to eat up more salary and go for a declining star in Nolan arnado um there’s more rumors I don’t know what the San Diego Padre are doing they put out a report that they’re willing to trade guys like Dylan CE and uh Xander Bogarts which is weird I know what their plan is the Astros and padr are kind of confusing right now because they’re still really good teams but I don’t know why they’re starting to give up all their stars now maybe they think that this is the end they have to start rebuilding again but personally I think they can both continue to make runs there’s I think it’s kind of early to try to trade away all your players before end this video let me know down below what you guys think about all these
