welcome back to Super Sunday match day now Chelsea can close the gap to lead us Liverpool to Four Points With Victory after the meride Derby at Everton was postponed due to storm Dara but I guess the most interesting news coming out of Liverpool this weekend is all regarding Mo Salah isn’t it um yet again in the headlines what can you tell us Daren well I want to show you this piece um by uh John Richardson I almost forgot who it was there um John Richardson on the back page of of the uh Sunday Mirror and he says that Muhammad Salah is going to sign for Liverpool for two more years he says a compromise deal has been reached between him his 32 years of age um but he still does have so many more years look at the sub deck as well I don’t know if you can see at the bottom of the screen under the headline uh cop favorit s set to end contract stand off with compromise invert New Deal that would suggest that um whenever you put something in headlines that would be something that you’ve that has been put to you in in discussions and it would look as so um his agent has done a good deal that would allow him to stay was always the highest owner at the club everybody knows about his numbers they’re comparable to the best in Europe at the moment I think only Omar mamush IR TR Frankfurt has um had more goals and assists with 28 compared to salah’s 27 he’ got 13 goals in the Premier League so far this season and he’s only failed to score in eight of his uh 21 uh appearances for Liverpool this season lots of those games have been twos and threes as well so um and if you look at him he’s playing with the smile on his face but with the ability to affect games score the first goal um to possess that X Factor that gets Liverpool out of trouble in midweek aror slot said whenever we need a goal from Mo he delivers and that’s a sign of a key player Jonathan North crofter has done a piece in the Sunday Times today where he talks about the S on his chest referring to Superman rather than Salah um and although he’s he’s being a little bit funny there well clearly I I laughed you know um I think he he does a really good analysis of the fact that to replace Salah if if they were to stick to their guns and allow him to leave where in Europe do you find a player who can have that effect on that club the way that they play for cheaper than it would cost to resign him to a new contract he says that it would be absolute Madness and I agree I think You’ probably got another three or four years at the top level for Mo moal maybe even more [Music]
