a lot of talk about your future what’s the latest you can tell us on that well it’s we almost in December I haven’t received any offer to stay yet in the club so probably I’m more out than in so would you like to stay there well you know I’ve been in a club for many years no no club like this but in the end it’s not in my hand so as I as I said before it’s December so haven’t received any anything yet about my prod it feels like the fans would love you to stay though give me the reaction today I I love the defense defense love me but in the end it’s not in my hand the fense hand so let’s see let’s go and see how do you feel about the fact there hasn’t been an offer then does that disappoint you of course yeah and and and so what have you spoken to the cup about why there hasn’t been an offer uh well I’m not going to go and say I’m not I’m not getting retired soon so I’m just playing the I’m focusing the season and um yeah let’s I’m trying to win the Premier League hopefully the champions league has one but yeah it’s disappointed but we we see and you know the last couple years has been a lot of talk about Saudi Arabia and you moving over there but you don’t you don’t look like I don’t want to speak about that I don’t want to think about that I just like I’m focused with the team now and with the end of the season do you feel as if because obviously you’ll be 33 next year but do you feel as if you can go on at the highest level like Messi and Ronaldo into your late 30s um you as you see I’m I’m very professional everybody see my work EIC so I’m just trying to enjoy my football and I will play in top level as long as as possible for sure me and this man feels like you’re doing all all your best to um to be at your best for those those talks those contact talks I’m just doing my best because this is who I am and I’m trying to give it all for for myself and for the club so we’ll see what happen next hi there I’m Rebecca Lo Studio host of NBC’s coverage of the Premier League don’t forget to hit subscribe to watch more videos all season long and if you want even more Premier League content from original series to live matches head over to Peacock
