subscribe Bon now in this video we’re going to talk about w s but before I get into that it’s G to be a big week for the Mets and all these teams with SoDo but before we get into that I want to thank support the channel uh it’s way to get paint for the house I got paint here sort of playing around the paint uh cuz I moved into a new place about you know 6 months ago know it’s taking forever to Mets have talked to one Soo it seems like all the teams that are going to sign him have talked to him he all had meetings guess with all these different all these different teams and he’s the big free agent of this off season he’s going to get a massive contract I think we all know that and they’re reporting all kinds of stuff today let me read you from MLB trade rumors teams expecting to make offers to Juan sto this week sweep stes the land Superstar free agent one set to enter its next phase as ESPN’s bust only reported this afternoon this is on Sunday the teams are expected to begin sending offers to the outfielders camp this week only as that to this point in this process s has been meeting with teams and allowing SoDo and the officials interesting clubs to get to know each other the Yankees Mets Blue Jays Red Sox Dodgers and Phillies are all known to have met with so at this point the Giants rays and Ro Royals are well known to be among the teams who have reached out to SoDo as well though no means between soda and any of those clubs are publicly known to have aard and the Royals already reportedly do the off season’s top free agent is outside the comfort zone oh you don’t say really really Kansas City’s going to spend $700 million on woto I highly doubt it my God I mean really why even bother I would mention you know some of these owners they have so much money there’s no reason that they can’t talk and and try to sign one of these big free agents but the idea that the Royals the Royals the Rays come on the Rays don’t the Rays the second homeless team in baseball I’m going start doing like homes reports on the Rays on the baseball H too at some point they got they got to rent out steinber they’ll probably get more people at steinber the field than they do with their own ballpark but that that monstrosity in Tampa Bay oh my goodness it wasn’t for that man-made hurricane that hit the hit the you know Tampa Bay they wouldn’t have had that problem I guess uh but here we go the general consensus around the game seems to be the Yankees and the Mets are the favorites for stto services as both deac and New York teams appear motivated as the Yankees look to retain their key addition from last off season who help take the club from missing the Playoffs in 2023 to American Le penet this past season while the Mets helped to build on a 24 campaign as some reaching NLCS for the first time since 2015 aotto naturally has a place in the Yankees lineup as the incumbent right fielder though he might even uh make more sense of the Mets club that could push ston and Marty to DH in order to accommodate the addition of stto given the fact that the acquisition of sto force toek is US judge is their everyday copil last year that what did not work out well in the World Series no uh horse face I mean Aaron judge made that error uh I I don’t expect the Mets to put Stalley Marte as DH I expect him to get traded uh he could still play the field so I don’t understand this logic of dhing him um I would expect he will get moved because he does have money coming to his and he’s got one year left on his contract I would expect that he will get moved I also expect Jeff mcneel to possibly get moved as well uh because they have a lot of young players in the infield and unless they make a big trade for a pitcher I expect the Mets to move Jeff mcneel um as well to get rid of some of the money that he has in his contract just to sort of pair off some of that money the Mets have on their payroll for next year I know that they don’t really M it doesn’t really matter with the Mets about their payroll they’re pretty much well in the luxury tax but I can definitely see them eating some of that money so they don’t have to deal with the full you know uh weight of that money on next year’s payroll and they can go a little bit younger uh this team was a little bit older the last few years needs to get a lot younger uh that doesn’t mean the other teams in the mix should be counted out however the those and Dodgers both already need Outfield help this winter and could further bolster the already excellent lineups that made them the class the National League this year by Landon stto I expected the the Phillies I think are the third favorite to sign him I don’t think the dodg will just because I don’t think he really cares for uh California quite frankly that was the rumor the last few years years when he was in San Diego he’s more of an East Coast guy he likes that that East Coast Energy I think his that energy works better out better here uh the Blue Jays fig to be especially motivated to Falling just short and last WIS o tiny sweep stakes and subsequently missing the Playoffs in 2024 while the Red Sox appear ready to resume spending in accordance with their Market size this winter after spending the past several Winters on the periphery a free agency the Red Sox are interesting I don’t have a percentage with them we the percentage is the end of this video you know in terms of just my own feeling while stto has emphasized the importance of Team competitive competitiveness and his decision-making and they have been questioned about whether he may prefer a team on the East Coast given his offseason homes in for Lauderdale Florida and a Dominican Republic the ultimate factor that figures to separate Soto’s suitors is money with orice expect to be made over the course of the next week is possible the previously unknown suit emerg as contenders for the star services are currently reported upon Ser suitors well behind the bidding process it’s also possible that the process begins to move quickly once offers begin to roll in mlb.com’s Mark finson reported earlier this week that the belief ran the league around the games that sto could sign dur or even before with the meanss which run from December 9th to the 12th in Dallas next month and I will cover all this stuff I’ll try to cover as much as I can I would mention I do work so I do actually one of these YouTubers that actually has a job so sometimes I can’t always um get the information out to you as quickly as possible but I didn’t different way I’m not really a news person you know you know the deal you’ve been here a while uh but in terms of like I’m not a Betty man but the percentage is in my view uh the Mets have a 52% chance of of signing him uh the the Yankees have a 42% chance of signing him and the Phillies have a 1% chance of signing him um the Mets obvious things they have a big player here with the Mets with Francisco Lindor they have a lot of money that they can spend uh the Mets still get Peter Lonzo back here they’re going to look to make a big trade I expect the Mets to make a big trade at the with the meetings the pitching help uh as well as maybe resign with sha manah uh I expect them to uh not only bring in SoDo and bring back Pete possibly they don’t bring back Pete they will have some kind of answer for that spot in line either either ad damis at third or Christian Walker at third one of those combinations uh also uh with the Yankees they have a 42% chance based on the fact that they had them last year and they’ll spend a lot of money for them uh the familiarity of the organization makes a big difference obviously he played here for the Yankees last year um he knows what’s expected of him he’s got a small ballpark to play in he h 40 home runs over the next 5 years unless it’s some sort of injury and the Phillies I bring the Phillies up because uh people mentioned that he’s very close with TR Turner he considers him like one of his best friends when he was with the with the Nationals all those years down in Washington and he’s very good very very close with Bryce Harper uh the great player down in Philadelphia but uh these are the things I sort of look at uh I think soda’s going to be here just due to the fact that met going to spend a ton of money on him he’s been looking for a lot of money for a long time he’s got the big agent I don’t think this is going to go into January I’d be very surprised if did this is going to you know be resolved within the next uh two weeks I think uh today is what the 24th uh yeah in the next two weeks this this will be resolved in another two weeks don’t not panic if it has it doesn’t happen right away we got we got until March we got till February when there’s pitchers and catchers everybody’s all flipping out there no movement so the different off season there a much better free agent Market this year and a lot of big players are going to get traded I expect some like I said Gary crochet is going to get moved there’s no doubt in my mind he’s going to get traded I would mention Luis Robert Jr that ain’t happened with the Mets was a m made that trade with Jose Siri so that that kind of put the kai bash on Luis Robert Jr so if you see any videos of that happening you’re not gonna see it from me and it’ll be from somebody that’s not thinking straight you’re not thinking of where the Mets are in terms of what they’re trying to do in their Outfield defensively and and Robert is always hurt he’s a guy that’s a little a little odd he’s not he’s not the the hardest working um hardest playing player that you’re going to find doesn’t Hustle the way he should uh but uh so that’s kind of how I look at it so I kind of think that you I think they really improved the defense in center with the anticipation that they might not have nearly as good of a defensive player in right field who Could That Be could be Juan stto uh well you
