so [Music] [Music] that’s right folks it is the fantasy football playoffs they are upon us next week starting in week 15 you’ll start your journey to the fantasy football championships and today we’re here to break down some of the musthave wide receiver sleepers some underrated guys that you could start to help you win that fantasy title all that and more starting right now on the F Ras ball fantasy YouTube channel [Music] [Applause] and we got Friday Vibes and they’re back folks it’s Ben wisley all the way down from Down Under here to bring us the best fantasy analysis in the bis I checked it’s a fact benw go f fantasy first down drop that o on Twitter what’s going on Ben what is happening look I got to say it’s a good week for everyone that doesn’t own Jaden Reed honestly what the the heck was that the Lions concede the most points proportionately to slot receivers and the Packers go you know what we’ve got one of the best slot receivers in the business what we’re going to do is just not use him at all we don’t need him we’ll go to Christian Watson we’ll go to Josh Jacobs obviously I mean it’s crazy I don’t understand what’s going on very confused you know no Romeo dobs also a little disappointing there uh in the sense of having a couple looks go to Jaden Reed uh you know that game Flow is a little wonky the first half was absolutely a terrible start for Jordan love they did have some short Fields uh and that kind of contributed to some of the shorter Fields leading to rushing touchdowns they found their most success early on the ground and that leaned to Jacobs right away um as a Jordan love owner I was extremely disappointed that of the four touchdowns he only had one of them and the other one would have been to Josh Jacobs if they didn’t call the damn flag but you know of course I’ve been like very like hands off Jordan love the last few weeks I’ve been starting guys like Justin her but I’m like you know what Detroit in Detroit last time they played big big numbers and then of course just kick right in the groin just it’s like that time of year folks so I uh I have a couple uh I actually gotta I gotta talk to you later at the end of the episode um about my lineup I know we talked briefly via text and you told me to start my studs but Walker news today kind of makes me a little weary about starting Kenneth Walker on the road especially with multiple injuries but that’s not what we’re here today folks we’re here to discuss must have wide receiver sleepers to help you win your fantasy title using the slot verse wide tool of course if you also really good tools a lot of data on rasell dcom now Ben before we jump into the individual weeks honestly it seemed like there was a little bit of a theme there’s some guys that me and you both agree a lot on over the next few weeks second honestly currently today do not sit in the top 24 at wide receiver but probably should be viewed as wide receiver twos maybe even give you a wide receiver one week was there a kind of a theme a defense maybe a matchup that you were constantly like I got oh I like this matchup that match Up’s always been good any individual matchups really stand out to you that you think you should really highlight for the playoffs I mean it You’ got to look at the season as a whole and look for those patterns and I always do this you look at the wide receiver Point conceded overall and then you go to the rasbull slot versus wide tool and you go you know where are they mainly conceding all of these wide receiver points you look at the Vikings and you go you know the Vikings concede a lot of points is it out wide is it to the slot you do the same thing with the Ravens and you end up with a couple of really good matchups that we’re going to attack over the fantasy playoffs so the other thing that is important this time of year of course is weather concerns um we’ve seen guys like the Buffalo Bills and you look at the matchup and honestly like Joan Jennings normal circumstances probably in that game Flow if they’re in a dome he’s getting a bunch of garbage time looks and he’s probably getting you seven for 90 again but due to the weather due to the you know unfortunate situation that happened in that San Francisco game it go it’s a dud right even though he had like half over half the yards of Brock pie in that game but I I think there’s like so that’s really important so honestly my best advice is that yes the matchups are really important but whether will derail pretty much any passing game especially so it’s good to have backup plans if you’re playing a guy that plays in Cleveland in Buffalo for example it’s not a bad idea to watch this show and or check out the tool and just have a plan B in place just in case the the weather really kicks up and you need to Pivot uh in that scenario because that could really derail a fantasy matchup especially if it’s snowing if it’s really cold if there’s just you know wind all that stuff happens in December so just a reminder folks that it is a lot more than just match up but today we kind of really focused more on the weekly matchups we want to talk about weeks 15 16 and 17 and dive into each individual week so let’s get into week 15 first who was your wide receiver sleeper undervalued receiver that you thought would be a great Target to play that week I am trying to remember who I sent you was it Christian Watson no it was Jaden Jaden uh Jaylen W Jen W that’s right okay so I knew that you would love this because you’re a massive J if you don’t know Bobby very well you wouldn’t know how much of a Jaden WD fan he is he walks around the house like a duck just so great is his love for Jaden W now Jen W has been kind of disappointing so far this season in fact to say he’s been disappointing is probably a massive understatement that is disappointing in itself but realistically going into the fantasy playoffs he finally gets some good matchups he gets the Texans in week 15 and the Texans have been particularly susceptible to wide receivers really hard to run on the Texans and the Texans are scoring plenty of points so the game Flow should go towards the Dolphins needing to pass we’ve seen that the Texans do have the ability to cover number one receivers meaning that WD has the potential to have a big game and we do see him have the occasional big games in strange matchups so I feel like there’s an opportunity for WD to break out in the fantasy playoffs now do I want to go out of my way to start him absolute Ely not I don’t want to start jayen WD but I do feel like there are a lot of situations if weather gets in the way if injuries get in the way if he just happens to be your best option where he is a really solid sleeper don’t start him over your studs but certainly don’t drop him and forget about him either it would be a real Temptation based on everything we’ve seen so far this season but I do think he’s going to be a lot better in the fantasy playoffs than he has been for most of the season to this point uh well um yeah so and let me just because I want to pull up the NFL schedule because the I know they’re playing they’re playing in Houston and a lot of this stuff that’s a dome game and by the way like I know Miami also plays better at home but to be honest with you CJ strad plays a lot better at home and like knowing Nico Collins is back healthy ready to roll like that offense as a whole should be better down the stretch of course they got Joe Mixon that could be a fun game so not against it it’s just the fact that if you look at Jaylen W’s season he’s had one game two games over 60 yards receiving the entire year it has been brutal now granted some of the games were not with Tua understand that but even when tua’s back it’s too I I Jaylen wad pops up for big games when you don’t expect it like it’s so annoying last year against the Jets was a great example where I had waddle in my lineup every week and then he plays the Jets the toughest out wide matchup and I sit him and he goes off and I’m like I just want to burn every house to the ground now just kidding folks we’re a housing crisis we don’t need to be burning down houses my apologies but any my point is it’s annoying however that’s the kind of game you want to Target high upside anything can happen so I I don’t hate the call there my guy’s a little bit safer believe it or not it’s jacobe Myers who I know you like a lot and honestly I think we both can agree that jacobe Myers might even be a wide receiver to for the whole entire playoffs like his matchups are solid um and he’s got the Falcons and early on in the season if you told me that the Denver Broncos and the Falcons would be one of the best out wide matchups I’d be like you’re out of your mind AJ Terell you got um Patrick ceran but to be honest with you this league has become more and more Zone heavy than it has been in previous years outside of like Detroit and the Patriots most teams lean Zone and so doesn’t really matter how good your cover corner is if you’re in a Zone folks because as soon as you leave that zone that guy’s not following you and and I’ve noticed that like again and again we just saw with Jerry Judy Jerry Judy went absolutely Bonkers against the Broncos the Falcons same thing like over and over time and time again I know last week it wasn’t really good for the Chargers receivers I know lad makoni had a really nice day he’s more of a slot guy but it’s just that the number one option against the the Falcons has continued to play very well so if you look at the Falcons second most fantasy points allowed out wide nine targets a game is what jacobe Myers has averaged since he’s returned to the lineup he is an absolute Target hog Aiden oconnell hey man you know what gets that that Chiefs he looked very good I mean insanely good and I think we don’t give these guys enough credit like Adan oconnell was a day three pick and as a rookie came in and played last year that’s not common and I think it I think there’s a world where he could actually improve uh and I think that’s important the opposing number one wide receivers against the Falcons over the four last four weeks have averaged each one of them has had at least 14 PPR points that includes lad makoni Courtland Sutton Marquez Valdez scantling and of course cidi lamb uh po went out for your homie uh hasn’t been really great so but anyway the point is number one’s play really well against the Falcons I’m not overly concerned any thoughts about Myers in week 15 love this matchup love this situation really good matchup um worth noting in the last five weeks since she came back from injury as you said he’s played five games he’s averaged over 80 yards a game and he’s played against the Chiefs twice which is not the easiest out wide matchup the Dolphins which is a legitimately tough out wide matchup and the Broncos which is a bit up and down but certainly if you’re putting over a 100 yards on the Broncos you’re doing really well so it’s not like there’s a situation where he’s been playing against the Jaguars and the Texans and the Browns and all these like top five matchups we’re talking about situations where he’s playing against middle of the road or more difficult matchups then he goes into the fantasy playoffs and all of a sudden he’s taking on teams that he should be able to absolutely dominate like the Falcons so this is a situation where you’re expecting him to get 10 targets you’re expecting him to turn that into 80 plus yards touchdown upside has never really been a big thing with Myers so far this season but it is definitely possible in this situation especially with their running back struggling for health a little bit so I love jacobe M’s upside in the PO in the fantasy postseason at least so I guess the question is there’s guys like really tough matchups you got like George Pickins playing against the Eagles for example now I I it’s tough to sit a guy like George Pickins um but I mean against the Eagles you start one of these guys over Pickins not over Pickins there’s certainly some tough matchups out there and there are certainly some guys that you would normally not start him over that I would start him over but Pickins is getting pretty close to matchup proof he really hasn’t had that many dud games so far this season like he’s getting at least like six or seven targets every week most games he’s going over 50 yards he’s got a lot of touchdown upside I don’t think you can sit him over Pickins but there are some guys that you would consider sitting him over H sorry starting over over guys like your DK Mets maybe potentially your um like the the Jets guys um all of those guys that are kind of like wide receiver two range that suddenly becomes really interesting bringing Myers in ahead of them because I think that m is going to end up being ranked as a relatively High wide receiver too by me next week the Jets have the Jags in week 15 I don’t know if I’m going to like I DK is a good name I got to say I still would consider it though like real that’s what we’re talking we’re talking especially depending on whether Rogers plays or not like I I do think that the Jets are not as much of like a clear start as they were and M is I I think we got to reset our minds on what jacobe Meyers is because he is an alpha one on his offense and listen North quietly the transition to Scott Turner they brought in North Turner like if you want to look back at uh how norf Turner especially has dedicated his offenses to an elite number one they make them Target Hogs and that’s what the Turner scheme is like if you look at Scott Turner’s time you know he had Terry mclen he was funneling targets just to muren for a lot of the those years didn’t have the quarterback play but the Turner scheme that they have has been doing that for a long time so and Myers has constantly out you know he’s looked better than we all thought like he’s he’s actually really embraced that number one role and played extremely well so I I would say that like guys like DK meaf who have uh are playing against the Packers are names that I’m like you know I might be okay starting jacobe Meyers over him because honestly meaf has now become more neck and neck with jsn as the number one and that see that Seahawks offense as a whole hasn’t has been very up and down even in the running game so honestly those are kind of the moves you might have to make in week 15 uh let’s jump down to week 16 what do you got for us here um so look this is going to be a shocking name you’re not going to expect me to be bringing out this sort of name hereit I’ve gone with jacobe Meyers now jacobe Myers is someone that we don’t talk about often but yeah I think I think you know what to expect from Jobe Myers yeah I mean that’s that’s I mean the good news is like if you haven’t noticed a theme if we were to pick one guy that I would be probably most excited about to start my my fantasy playoffs that isn’t currently a top 24 wide receiver is jacobe Myers that’s a good theme my guy we probably just agree on the on the type of player my my guy is Romeo dobs um now dobs season has been hasn’t been consistent it’s been awful um I I do think it’s a little bit of a product of the love injury then he was out then he got the concussion and love got the injury again against the groin with the groin and so it’s been a little bit of a missed opportunity season for Romeo dos because of everything that happened in week 16 though he’s going to come back he’s going to get the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans gives up the seven most fantasy points out wide over the last six weeks and the the other thing with New Orleans is and you’ll hear me talk about this sometimes is like I also like to look at is a defense allow a lot of air yards versus yards after the catch like how are they how are receivers generating their fantasy points because if a defense is able to be beaten deep then you want to look for a guy like Christian Watson but if you look at New Orleans they’re more of like a yards after the catch def you’re able to get they AR not necessarily allowing the most air yards this season but they are allowing a lot of yards after the catch stuff and like Christian Watson’s that deep threat Romeo dobs operates more in that middle intermediate area and I think that’s where I think he can really dominate in this game guys like puka nkua Drake London lad makoni are the guys that played really well against New Orleans and those guys kind of operate similar to what Romeo dobs does versus a vertical threat similar to Christian Watson so I love the matchup and honestly that whole Packers and I believe they’re in let me just pull it up they’re in New Orleans that oh no they’re home against they’re at Green Bay so they’re home against Green Bay so that’s another game where we’ll have to pay attention to the weather but overall I love the matchup what your thoughts Ben yeah so I’ve been high on Romeo dobs All Season he just can’t stay healthy and when he’s not healthy or when Jordan love’s not healthy this is just not a situation that works for him but the thing I like most about dos is he’s out there every single snap he is there every down outside receiver they cycle Christian Watson with Davi and Wicks when everyone’s healthy and Jaden um look Reed only plays in 11 personnel so he’s only out there like 70% of the time dobs is out there every single snap if he’s having a good game he is going to have a big game because they’re going to keep filtering targets to him and keep having opportunities to use him so dobs has some upside the problem is he hasn’t been able to put it together he didn’t play this week can you put him in in your fantasy playoffs if you haven’t seen him let’s say he doesn’t play week 15 is there any chance you can possibly start him in week 16 all I think he’s he’s only a concussion so I think he’ll be back um he already missed the two games that usually happens and it was a short week last week so I think that and technically he’s only been 11 days so I think that’s what happened if he was playing on Sunday I think he might have been cleared this week that’s my personal opinion about how it usually works but um I think he’ll be back but you’re right if he’s not back that will be a much tougher sell and on top of that it’s also going to be a tough sell if it’s Green Bay weather so honestly if it’s like 20 degrees and windy and snowy then this whole thing doesn’t matter so that’s why on in week 16 you’ll be watching this show and me and Ben will be a little bit more information closer to the moment um but dos is even a guy you could probably get off waivers in certain leagues because he has hasn’t really performed too well so um there’s that but I just want to bring up some other things too so um some names that really kind of stood out too obviously that like if you look to the slot vers wide metric you go if you want to just look forward um I think the Chargers situation has kind of dissolved into lad makoni only and so I’m not really stressed about that match up they’re playing against Denver we also have the Giants and Malik neighbors who I think the good news is you’ll actually get to see what he look hopefully if he plays this week gez I mean come on um if he plays this week we can see what he looks like with Drew lock I mean listen the thing about lock is he is a little bit more of a gun he could push the ball a little bit further down field I hope so um he’s got Atlanta in that matchup too uh and then George Pickins of course has Baltimore which those games always never end up being what we think um that’s the problem like sometimes the numbers don’t matter like if you watch those AFC North games they don’t end up being shootouts even if the defenses are not playing as well as they usually do but we just saw that matchup and no one really went berserk um but I think uh Pickins had a decent game in that one so uh you know there’s definitely some other guys Jerry Judy against Cincinnati might be one of the biggest blowup games you could see um we’ll see what the Bengals how they could put it together this week I know you know CD lamb just sitting on my bench right now telling me to put him in I don’t know we’ll nervous about this one but we’ll see uh but those are just some notable names let’s talk about some bad matchups though guys that were might be a what about Terry mclen against the Eagles what your thoughts about that are you willing to start these two guys maybe over him I mean McLaren’s been so boom bust of late that it makes it really scary to start him in general I mean he’s had a heap of 100 yard games and then a heap of games where he’s getting like under 20 yards in your fantasy playoffs you can’t risk that but you also can’t leave 100 points on your bench so even though it’s the Eagles I feel like there are just games where they will throw the ball to Terry McLaren and it’s just going to happen and it’s not because of matchup because his big games don’t always happen in the best matchups and his dud games don’t always happen in the um bad match match ups he just has good games and bad games and you just got to ride the wave with him yeah one catch for 10 yards this season against the Eagles and then last year against Philly different team but five for 63 And1 and eight for 86 so something there you might be right maybe that he already had his dud so maybe that’s maybe law of averages says mclen will have a much better match up we’ll sh down to week actually one more name pukaa against the Jets now Garner’s dealing with an injury and he might be shut down for the year who knows um but what you I think puka has kind of approached the way they use puka I’m never really concerned about him um and and listen the Jets still allow 26.6 PPR points per game to wide receivers this season in the receiving game and it I know they have three guys but it does seem like puka is probably more of a matchup proof but what’s your thoughts about puka against the Jets I think you still have to start him like I I think it’s there are some players where it doesn’t matter what the matchup is you just have to use them you have to start your studs because they always have upside in every single matchup and you can’t leave that upside on your bench plus they usually have pretty solid floors certainly more accessible floors and PUK is one of those guys he’s such a core part of what they do in that offense Cooper Cup being around does give you a little bit of cause for concern because there are going to be games where they go more towards cup than nura but I feel like you still need to start poer every week and realistically you still need to start Cup every week yeah and guys just so you know too we got your comments we see them we’re going to get to all your questions at the end of the episode we promise we see Jamie in the chat Robert Paige this looks like a first time name here we also have Daniel from Mexico what’s going on dude uh we also have Tyler as well guys we have all of you guys we see you just stay with us we’re gonna be talking ball we’re gonna have a lot of fun so you’re gonna have a great time hanging out until you get your questions answer we promise all right week 17 it’s the fantasy Championship Ben wisley who are you willing to step put in that that final wide receiver three or Flex spot to get you over the hump I firstly want to point out that I sent this message to you before the Packers Lions game and it’s going to seem like I’m using that as part of my argument but I’ve been high on this guy for weeks anyone who watches my streamers and stashers stuff on the rasor website check out my articles um or watches my videos over on my channel will know that I love this guy and I have for a long time ever since is being clearly emerging that he is taking touches away from Donavan Wicks and that’s Christian Watson as soon as he got healthy as soon as they started to give him a full snap count he was always going to feed because they love using that X receiver position over in Green Bay Christian Watson’s going to have a big game in week 17 he takes on the Vikings they have considered the most points to wide receivers so far this season they do tend to slant a little bit towards the outside as well Christian Watson is going to have a lot of big game big play opportunities now that is assuming that it’s not a terrible snow game in Minnesota I don’t think it will be I think we’ll be fine um but it is one of those situations where assuming nothing really weird happens Watson’s going to get opportunities now will he make the most of those opportunities we don’t know a couple of weeks ago he just had a massive drob connection can I cut you off for one second sorry I just want to give you good news the Minnesota Vikings playing a dome so you’re good to go you’re you’re good to go I was like oh it should be fine it’s Packers game oh no it’s a Minnesota game oh yeah no we’re fine um yeah look Watson had that big misconnection last week he would have had a massive sorry two weeks ago would have had a massive game then the next two weeks after that they connected and he does have a massive game so he is a little bit more boom bust than most but I feel like in this matchup with the fact that he’s finally started to take that position away from Wix and we’ve seen the Wix hasn’t been very good when dos has been out so I do suspect that it’s going to be a whole lot more Watson love Watson in week 17 he’s got that sort of matchup winning upside that you look for in those fantasy playoffs yeah and and just to kind of circle back to what I was talk I mean so Minnesota is allowed the second most air yards this season that tells me that Christian Watson could just explode that week um holy cow uh that’s a lot of 1,700 air yards that is I mean both our Ravens are at 2,000 so oh man that’s crazy but the Ravens are turning around a little bit but that’s just a side note um honestly I got a shout out honorable mention by the way jacobe Myers again he get New Orleans honestly if you have jacobe Myers man he might be a guy that you have in your Flex the entire time because he he might be fantastic down the stretch my guy for week 17 and listen I I’m Jordan love the last time they faced Minnesota went bananas so I think this one’s a slam dunk for you I love the call Adam Thelen is my guy against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers uh obviously we saw what he did last week against Tampa Bay eight for 99 and one um you know there’s not a lot of examples of other slot guys really dominating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers you know Ricky peaw kind of operates in the slot now he had a really strong game against them uh you know wand Del Robinson had five for 47 and if you know wand Del Robinson that’s a pretty solid line for him uh but at the same time like Thelen uh still 34 I know but Bryce young has turned to corner and last season Adam thielen was a top 24 wide receiver in PPR with whatever Bryce young was last year now Bryce young looks more confident he looks a lot better he’s leveling up and honestly I love the fact I love matchups when I feel confident about the other team when I feel like Tampa Bay can put up points that just leads to a shootout There’s an opportunity there for both teams to play very well plus warm weather game going to be down south not up north week 17 and then I really think that Adam Thelen could be someone in PPR formats that you can rely on to get you a solid production So Adam Thiel would be my guy here as well let’s jump down to some maybe potential sits um obviously I think a good preview uh once again I don’t know what it is but the Rams tough schedule they got they got Arizona who’s allowed the least amount of fantasy points out wide I think we both agree that you can’t sit puka Dallas Cowboys play the Philadelphia Eagles CD Lamb’s struggles against Philly have been really really evident and I think with Cooper Rush it’s not even worth the upside are you willing to sit CD lamb that week um yes I’m willing to sit him but I’m not going to go out of my way to sit him I’m not going to start Adam Thelen over him speaking of theen by the way do keep an eye on where the jayen coka comes back and what impact that has on the snaps because the’s only playing an 11 personnel as it is if he’s losing snaps to Coker as well he’s very much a slot guy that going to have an impact on that week 177 but we’ll know that by that point in time um look realistically there are plenty of guys that I would I would sit lamb for it’s just all going to be about the right matchup but I’d start a jacobe Myers over him for example every single time Calvin Ridley or cidd lamb who’s Calvin Ridley got in week 17 Jacksonville oh then Calvin Ridley definitely Terry mcor Terry McLaren vers Atlanta or CD lamb definitely McLaren okay DeAndre Hopkins vers pit b or CD lamp oh CD lamp I’m avoiding all the Chiefs receivers because they’re cycling them they don’t have any clear starters at the moment so they’re going to have random big games you’re never going to know who it is and the rest is going to have absolute DTS uh Jets have Buffalo that week any concerns about the Jets receivers definitely yes um especially because by week 17 you don’t know what they’re going to do with our and Rogers I I feel like we’re like one random situation away from them just shutting Rogers down I don’t know why they would do that but just feels like the kind of thing that would happen with these with these like veteran emotional quarterbacks that just decide that they don’t feel like playing anymore and they’re in Buffalo folks always a danger obviously Grant rollon had a really big game against them earlier in the year um times will be changing folks though and honestly Anything Can Happen up there in Buffalo definitely might be better to start a guy like Christian Watson I honestly wouldn’t mind that game have a little fun folks win that title get that boom game we’ll love every second of it all right let’s jump into some of the questions we have from you guys obviously Jamie what’s up dudes what’s up Jamie um Robert obviously love the name by the way fantastic greetings to you as well my friend Ben wisley the number one QB ranker in the world not just the tri-state area not just the United States in the world folks representing we love every second of that we have Daniel coming in with a question in regards to uh a start Evan Ingram and the Jacksonville Jaguars this week have let’s see uh the Jets no the playing at Tennessee my apologies or will dley going up against the Kansas City Chiefs let’s go with this ones first man what do you got dley or Ingram I’ve got Ingram slightly high the issue with Ingram is he really lacks touchdown upside he just has for years for whatever reason Evan Ingram just can’t seem to find the end zone he has one touchdown all season and this is not a new thing for him either this has been an issue for him for years he’s he hasn’t had more than four touchdowns in the season since his rookie season in 2017 so for whatever reason with Ingram you always have that issue in PPR he’s a solid option but he hasn’t gone over 50 yards in his last six games so as week six was the last time he went over 50 yards so you’ve got a nice PPR floor because he’s getting a whole heap of targets with M Jones you’re definitely going to see him used but diesel is very much a boom bust option he put up a donut last week so it’s hard to trust him I would go go with Ingram especially assuming it’s a PPR but if you want a little bit more upside then I’d go with disley because it is a good matchup so I think another key caveat here is that he’s playing with ma Jones and so M Jones at least it looks like there’s a little bit it’s not too much of a drop off six for 40 5 for 28 7 for 41 uh in PPR formats I think you’re right if it’s a full PPR I’m going to go Ingram but honestly dle to me offers just crazy upside because the Chiefs are horrendous against tight ends um and listen I know we have short-term bias but there’s been there was a stretch before last week’s game where Dy was solid for multiple weeks in a row against Cincinnati against the Ravens he put up decent numbers in each contest so honestly I think if you’re a win and need to get in um and you feel like you’re the better team just say the safe we oute and go Ingram but I feel like if I’m on the outside looking in and I need a big time week I’m gonna go disley want to take that upside um jumping over to the next question we have shakure Buffalo this week on the road against the Rams Keenan Allen also on the road against the 49ers what your thoughts here um they’re going to be real close to like backto back for me in my first update they’ll pretty much back to back I think I’ll have Shakir higher I just feel like he’s a little bit safer Allen’s all of a sudden like burst back onto the scene but I don’t think we can necessarily project that as being a consistent thing I talked earlier about how Detroit concedes the most points to slot receivers and he had that big game against Detroit and then the other game was against the Vikings who we’ve already said concede the most points to wide receivers so yes he’s coming off two really big games Kenan Allen but that were fantastic matchups this week is not a fantastic matchup against the 49ers so I feel like shakir’s the better bet yeah Shakir for me I love that game Flow I honestly listen I’m I’m a little the Rams are home and so the Buffalo Bills need to travel to the West Coast and I think that really opens things up if this game was in Buffalo it’d be a lot more concerning but there’s an opportunity for the Rams to put up points um I think you could see a similar kind of flow to what the Dolphins game was a few weeks ago between the Rams and the bills are a much better team uh and I think the bills are going to put up points they’re gonna I think the bills are gonna have a little fun being they’re G like this is nice it’s nice warm in here not everything hurts so I’m gonna go Shakir I think that game is going to be a lot of fun especially in the dome uh all right let’s jump down here uh is Reed droppable for Elijah Moore for Tyler honestly I don’t think that’s a name that I’m necessarily gonna drop Reed for but his floor has made it extremely hard to trust him especially with the fantasy playoffs coming up what your thoughts here Ben firstly I love that you’ve mixed up your Old Testament prophets and called him Elisha Moore instead but that’s fantastic um no he’s he he isn’t um the problem with Mo in particular is that Cedric tilman’s going to be back not this week but the week after presumably given it’s from concussion and tman is a big part of their offense he he makes a lot more big plays Mo’s gotten plenty of targets recently but with tman back all of a sudden all of those lack of targets that was going to Michael Woods and Jamari thrash is all of a sudden going to go back to Tilman and mo is going to become the wide receiver three in this offense so Moore’s not someone I drop breed for there are guys I would drop breed for but Moore is not one of them uh well let’s see they have Seattle New Orleans Minnesota that mat like those are winnable matchups for slot guys um Seattle’s okay Minnesota I feel like that game could be an absolute shootout and then they also have New Orleans which we just talked about I mean they’re just yeah I think Reed you might need to it might be a situation where you might be sitting him in week 14 because you’re worried a little bit about the floor um they’re also on the road against Seattle but I think he has a decent enough bounceback that you’ll build confidence and want to start him in week 15 when they’re back uh they’re playing against New Orleans and honestly weather pending of course but I think you’ll be confident starting him in that matchup all right let’s see uh thoughts thoughts thoughts thought thought thoughts thoughts thoughts on Reed I just feel like he’s screaming at us thoughts thoughts we’re getting there buddy we’re getting there uh I have a Green Bay question thanks buddy uh on wicks thoughts on every [ __ ] thoughts on every Green Bay wide receiver uh yeah I don’t think we have much thoughts on Wicks I think Romeo dobs come back and you’re not going to trust Wicks let dobs is back from the concussion thoughts on Christian Watson obviously Ben just already told you everything you need to know about Christian Watson I I think we’re all excited um they don’t answer questions I mean Tyler you’ve been around forever dude you know we answer questions at the end of the podcast come on man gez I love it though I love the I love the consistency thank you for keep pushing it through keep us honest my friend I hly Ben was over I think Ben didn’t want to answer a question so I’m glad I forced him to do it all right perfect I have thoughts I have so many thoughts thoughts thoughts thoughts thoughts thoughts thought thoughts on mik Willis we just got Packers questions Galore Jamie I know you got ton and cheek there butd all good um how worried should I be about neighbors and Pickin injuries left with Ridley and Legette and whatever is on waivers honestly Marius I would be curious who’s on waivers my friend uh let us know in the comments if you have a information about who’s on waivers but I mean listen Ridley has uh is a little bit up and down but they got the Jags this week folks I mean I think he should be fine that should be a really good matchup pickings I don’t believe this is an a serious I think neighbors will miss potentially this week um that’s tough because he’s got New Orleans and then Pickins against Cleveland uh I think he’s gonna play I haven’t heard anything and by the way after what happened against Cleveland last a few weeks ago that end of the game I think pcks is going to be motivated and I think he’s going to have a decent day what’s your thoughts Ben yeah I I think there is a real risk of neighbors missing but I think pickin’s probably plays I’d be totally comfortable going in with Pickin and Ridley if you’re going to have to start leag it though that’s a real problem um I don’t trust him in most situations at the moment love the player um loved him as a prospect still love him as a player I just think he’s a year away from being a real Fantasy Star so um for now I would avoid starting him and go to waivers if you have to um or if we’re talking about a flex option go to running back yeah all right it looks like by the way Jamie really appreciate you monitoring the chat obviously taking uh making sure we got our our Marshon Lloyd and AJ Dylan future questions always available we do appreciate the bo Melton mentioned by the way shout out Bo Melton honestly thank you uh for all the and honestly you baby no worries all good we appreciate you honestly Ben before we close out the show do you have any fun things that you’ve kind of learned over your your just your travels sir that anything that going into the fantasy playoffs while we close out the show you’re like you know what here’s a a name that really stands out that I think is going to be a League winner you know what I want to talk about going into the fantasy playoffs is roster management at some point going into the fantasy playoffs you need to think about when you’re going to be starting the guys on your roster and what situation they’re going to be useful to you if you’ve already if you’re starting three wide receivers every week and you’ve got five or six guys on your bench who is that number five or six guy does he have enough upside where there is a situation you would actually start him if there’s not maybe go for a different style of player there’s certainly plenty of guys that are really useful of by we fillers but they’re not useful in the fantasy playoffs because there aren’t any buyers anymore so you don’t need to put them in for anybody go for guy with a little bit of upside for me I’m filling my bench with running back stashes and you know I talk about this every week in the streamers and stashes article how many times this season have I brought up brilon Allen and you know who you’re going to want in the fantasy playoffs you’re going to want someone like a bron Allen Zach shanet guys they talk about every single week they should have been on your rosters since the start of the season but if they’re for some reason on wavers and they shouldn’t be then you definitely want to be picking up these upside guys anyone that is going going to need an injury and all of a sudden they’re into a fantasy winning spot that’s the guys you want on your bench at this point of the Season what are your thoughts about brail and Allen this week I are you start over Tyrone Tracy yes 100% we we without a doubt I I think brilon Allen has the potential to be a top 12 running back in the fantasy playoffs I feel like at the moment they’ve been splitting Allen a little bit with Hall with no Hall there all of a sudden we’re going to see a whole lot of Allen now there is a risk we’ll see Isaiah Davis getting some like third down work and things like that but realistically Allen is a really talented back he’s good at the goal line he can handle a heavy workload he was my favorite guy coming into the preseason as a um as a running back stash and he remains one of my favorite guys even though the Jets have been disappointing in the Run game I’ve overid it I overdid the wavers I got gandoo and I got I also have brilin Allen and now I’m like do I sit C for these guys and I’m like I guess so yeah you know it’s funny I get it gets to a certain point where um I understand that the snap counts looked good last week for tri Tracy but like he only had nine carries versus it’s back-to-back weeks now and it’s Drew lock the starting quarterback the Giants are also kind of moving into this weird Direction Where do they really want to give Tyrone Tracy probably the future of their offense a huge workload when their season is done honestly I think there’s a a huge narrative here where they’re going to continue to split the work that’s what I worry about obviously Tyrone Tracy is awesome he just rips up he’s playing New Orleans who by the way is just awful against the run right now and so like it’s a tough sit um but I think if you’re talking who could be a more of a Workhorse you probably lean brayan Allen over Tyrone Tracy because I think single ter will still have more of an impact it doesn’t make any sense but we’ll see I can’t wait till make the wrong decision I’m excited I’m really excited I’ve asked every person I know what their thoughts are on my lineup that I need to win and get in and and obviously every person has a different opinion so it has been super fun that yeah all right so we have H forever Eagles by the way congratulations buddy if it’s Philadelphia Eagles good your team looks awesome as a Giants fan you’re welcome for saquon Barkley uh it was our Christmas gift to you we love you buddy uh Patrick Mahomes or Sam darn of course momes got the Chargers this weekend Sam darnold is at home uh Minnesota is facing um who do they got Falcons oh Falcons okay what’s your thoughts here uh s look for weeks I’ve been talking about quarterback stashes and every week I put Sam darnold and every week I say hey in week 14 you’re going to want Sam Donald he’s going to take on the Falcons you’re going to want Sam Donald lot of quarterbacks on by You’re Gonna Want Sam Donald hopefully you got Sam Donald hopefully you listen I’m starting Sam Donald over pretty much everyone but those top three studs I think he’s going to be a top five quarterback for me this week I will definitely start Sam Donald over Patrick Mahomes bobb’s clearly convinced as you can tell um it’s I yeah well that’s yeah it’s uh you know the other thing I mean Mahomes at home I know the Chargers uh earlier this year they that game there wasn’t it wasn’t a shootout it was um it was kind of conservative both offenses weren’t totally amazing in that the Chargers game 17-10 was the score momes went for you know 245 one touchdown one interception but last year that he threw for four touchdown passes in 400 yards against the Chargers he did a lot of things last year though he did lot lots of things last year last year’s Patrick mahes SM this year is Patrick behind now Ben now Ben I knew you were gonna say something like that you gotta remember early on in the season he lost Rasheed rice there was a little bit of a transition period and then they got the Andre Hopkins yes he’s he’s gone for 260 Plus in three of his last I mean four of his last sorry five of his last six games in that time frame he’s got multiple touchdowns in four of the six games so he’s been super good over the last month uh six weeks or so so it’s not the same um yeah but he was playing against the Raiders and the Bucks and the Panthers like they’re all going to be guys you can seeed points again he’s now playing against the Chargers the charges are hard for quarterbacks to score on like they they’re not the hardest matchup but they’re certainly like a bottom 10 match up for a quarterback yeah as opposed to Sam Donald who’s Sam Donald I know I know it’s it’s I mean listen I I’ll take the Dome game I’m okay with it I just I want to see Kirk Cousins bounce back against Minnesota good thing is Stefan Gilmore will be out this week so hopefully that helps that Falcons offense maybe play a little bit better um uh I so yeah I’m good with honestly I think there’s more upside with darnold in this matchup at in the dome but to be honest with you like I think Mahomes I mean he he had three touchdown passes against Buffalo so it’s not like he’s awful but he only threw for 196 yards I get it okay Sam Dar Sam Donald stop screaming Sam darn at me what is this it’s like we what’s your thoughts on Sam D what’s your thoughts on Sam darn Ben uh anyway um yeah more shout outs Ben’s number 16 in the world by the way it’s by the more more more shout outs there for him um also have bejon Connor as my RBS should I put Tony Pard in my Flex currently have DJ Moore so par has got the Jags and then DJ Moore half PPR is on the road against the San Francisco 49ers what your thoughts here Ben yeah I i’ got to say I’d go with Paula like I I’m he’s he’s not honestly honestly I’ve got him ahead of James Conor for me it’s really a question of do you start James Connor or do you start DJ Moore in half PPR I’d still start Conor but I I feel like Po’s a must start this week yeah I agree I’m in for that uh Jamie another shout out six of the three of the six members of rasmo made the Scott fishball uh finals whatever that is I don’t even know what’s going on I don’t even know how it works I just kind of poke around go okay it looks like I’m still playing let’s go that’s all I know about Scott fish I know it’s for a good cause that’s really all that matters shout out to Scott fish for the good cause there um brilin Allen or wh Nick Westbrook aen this is a fun one now Nick Westbrook ke by the way is uh absurd I feel like he catches one or two passes a week and he catches a touchdown every week it’s insane uh and then this week of all weeks he has a really good matchup and you’re like well now do you fade Nick Westbrook Aina but I think brillan Allen is probably the guy here because of the workload because he’s gonna be uh he’s got a decent match up against the Dolphins I mean Dolphins run defense isn’t horrific um they have been pretty good over the last month or so but what your thoughts to you Ben yeah since his bye which was in week five so a long time ago he hasn’t he’s gone over three receptions in a game once and he has eight touchdowns in eight games it’s absolutely absolutely nonsense it doesn’t make any sense at all it this will not keep happening I mean it might keep happening for a little bit but this is not like a long-term situation you can’t just rely on him to keep scoring touchdowns because he’s got such a low floor and I’ve already talked about how much I love Bron ad I I would without doubt start PR and Allen in this situation um assuming Breeze Hall is out which he near certainly will be um Westbrook aino so risky like look I I get the upside but there are heaps of guys with upside and Allen’s got a lot more yeah the Jeff the the uh Dolphins run defenses has been really good uh Josh Jacobs 19 for 43 uh ra Madre eight for 13 uh Kiren Williams only 15 for 62 James Cook 10 for 44 James Conor 20 for 53 that’s interesting I I didn’t realize Miami’s Runde was doing so well but well they went earlier in the season this is like a new um they still considered the 11th most points for the season to running backs but it’s a lot through the air so like for example that Ray Davis two for Ray Davis and and James could combin for seven catches for 95 yards on a touchdown um you know Kiron had five catches in his game met Alexander Madison and Amir Abdullah combined for six for 66 and one uh Josh Jacobs ended up saving his fantasy day of course with a touchdown but he also had four catches for 74 yards so the question is brayon going to get that passing game work to offset he he was earlier in the season so I I I he’s not going to get like third and Longs but he’s going to get plenty of rece receiving work he’s a good receiving back yeah the other thing with Jame the one thing I liked about Bree Bree Hall earlier was Aaron Rogers has shown a uh he’s been known to like he could check down his running backs a little bit and he did it with Aaron Jones for a long time and honestly I liked Bree hall because of that so he gets involved in that that aspect so yeah and I think last week he had a couple catches too so hopefully he gets that work with um with Bree Hall Out Mr Magic yo what’s going on man how you doing obviously Abracadabra let’s get it done let’s get this answer for you we got Jobe Myers our sweet boy our the new flagship of Ras ball jacobe Myers uh JS said or DK full PPR of course jsn and the Raiders this week are facing the uh Tampa Bay Bucks which is a nice match up and then jsn and DK are on the road against the Arizona Cardinals what you thought to your Ben uh it’s going to sound surprising but I’m going to go with jacobe Meyers they’re all pretty close for me but in this matchup I feel like MCM is a little bit safer you can imagine a situation where jsn has a hep of Targets in 100 yards or does absolutely nothing and realistically the same applies to DK Mecha if you can imagine him making some big plays you can imagine him having some holding penalties and not getting that yardage either of those things could happen so I’m going to go with Kobe who I think is a little bit more locked in I mean look he’s not a perfect like nothing can possibly go wrong Prospect but he is a little bit safer compared to the other two in my opinion so honestly just a fun nugget here about DK Mecha the last so in 20 the last few games against the Arizona Cardinals five for 37 and one two for 34 last season he played one game against Arizona he went one for 10 and then this year against Arizona that game I don’t know if he was in yeah four for 59 so historically hasn’t been great against Arizona so honestly and JS and there Arizona’s slot funnel defense but I’m gonna go jacobe Myers as well Tampa Bay uh like I always say over and over again like I like I like Tampa Bay’s shakeup right with with uh Mike Evans back that offense should start clicking a little bit more um and I believe it’s home in Vegas so they at a nice Dome game I know Arizona is in a dumb too but I like Myers I’m going to go with Myers oh no they’re on the road against hip bit my apologies but but still going to go chobe Meers over jsn at DK but honestly I’d be okay with jsn too it’s it is a better match up for slot guys um listen Jamie’s lost his mind he just keep he keeps asking for my thoughts on things Jamie honestly we appreciate the humor of course my friend thoughts on Drake May has a top 12 Dynasty QB does he even have a top eight upside uh yeah I think he does uh can we get the man some a legit Talent um I think that’s where I think the talent is there we’ve seen enough from my uh May especially with his mobility and his arm strength that where if you can get him at Alpha number one I think things will change like real fast similar to Josh Allen when you got Stefan dicks I think you could see a similar trajectory for him uh in that offense what’s your thoughts Ben I I feel like with Drake May with all of the discussion around um Caleb Williams and Jaden Daniels that we forget that Drake May is still one of the better prospects we’ve seen the last five years in most drafts he’s going one if not two it’s only because it was such a strong quarterback draft that he went three and the fact that he still went three means something because it was such a deep draft and there were so many other good prospects around drg May is a legit quarterback he’s going to be very good the problem is we haven’t seen the Packers be able to use a quarterback effectively since Tom Brady so can they start to do it what are they doing with jayen pul who’s not even starting at the moment despite being like an early second round pick are they going to be able to sort it out I think longterm yes he is a very good Prospect yeah I agree I’m I’m in there as well Jamie I just want to give a shout out to Jamie always appreciate being on man and by the way Jamie and he does this content Fantasy 6 Pack going for two another great Channel go check them out as well they’re doing hell of a job in the Scot fish we always appreciate you Jamie for joining us we do not answer questions Jamie as a reminder we try to avoid them as much possible just this question Danny we appreciate you thank you gentlemen thank you buddy for joining us we do appreciate Jamie would you trade give up a late first in a single QB league for May I think that is reasonable I think it is a little bit rich in the sense of if you’re giving up a late first it means you’re probably a win now team so in that case what are your quarterbacks if you’re a win now football team do you have a stud or are you looking for a true are you trying to fill a need there so I would have to know a little bit more but what your thoughts Ben I think this is one of those situations where it depends on League depth in a 10 team League quarterbacks are worth practically nothing there’s quarterbacks everywhere um single QB League you don’t need to worry about it in a 16 te League all of a sudden it becomes a lot more difficult to get your hands on quarterbacks so even though that’s a and that’s a later pick as well so assuming it’s a 12 team League I wouldn’t I don’t think you generally need to pay up for quarterbacks in that sort of league and it’s not like he’s a can’t miss Prospect because he’s at the Patriots so I I feel like you can probably get a better QB for a late first got Russell and you got Winston so I mean listen Russell and Winston for what it’s worth will definitely get through the end of the year and I don’t think it’s a rush to make this deal um obviously and Winston by the way I picked him up in one of my redraft leagues I’m I’m ready to go I’m excited I know this week is not the week he’s going to be on the road against Pittsburgh but let’s go wheels up so I think you don’t have to make that deal right now um and I think Ben’s right I think it depends on your league side as well all right folks we got to close this one out it’s been super fun Ben Wy why don’t you tell the people where you could F they could find your content everywhere
