okay NBA trade stuff is weird part 75 featuring another episode of will anybody trade for Brandon Ingram or Zack LaVine we will also do some cam Johnson stuff some general Nets stuff Bounce Around The League a little bit of course December 15th is the date in which the majority of the league can be traded so we’re getting out a little bit ahead of this and also if I violate any CBA things during this video my bad it’s like a mine field at this point with first apron second aprons hard caps Etc anyway with the LaVine and Ingram guess what man it’s still tough to find the move for either one of them if we could start with LaVine but honestly everything I say here can also apply to Ingram so the teams that I try to look for for LaVine are teams that can surround him with good Defenders and he can just be the tough shot maker and shooter not to say he’s horrible on defense like he’s been better on the ball than as a Team Defender pretty much his whole career but still I think that’d be the ideal situation but even as I think of a team for about half a second I immediately talk myself out of it because of what they might have to give up or whatever obviously his contract is a big thing in this or I just don’t think the team wants to go in that Direction right now so to give you examples of just good defensive teams right now okay you look at the magic I just don’t think they’re entertaining the idea I think they’re going to say we got Paulo we got fron who’s been great with Paulo out Anthony black has been more aggressive and also the magic like basically every guy on their roster who you’d have to put in a trade actually matters for them outside of Cole Anthony so it just doesn’t feel like that’s going to happen okay and I don’t think the magic need to be in a rush to make any moves like this thing is going up on its own pretty much maybe a smaller move for like you know more of just a shooter who doesn’t command as much assets to move or salary but anyway another team is the Pistons right they were a top 10 defense like a week and a half ago they’re now middle of the pack need more help on offense they’re not trading a pick and they’re not trading Ivy so it’s just not happening I thought about Miami for 4 seconds just don’t really see it even if they would love to get an improvement on Rosier I know there’s been a little bit of Jimmy noise as well we’ll jump around for half a second here I think Miami is going to need a very bad couple of months for any Jimmy Butler trade anything to actually be worth entertaining I’m sure Miami would love to improve on Rosier he just mostly hasn’t been that good but they just don’t have a lot like you know they’re not going to move hakz Hero has been too good to put in a deal they got picks going out the door I will say just a random player I feel like Miami would get the most out of Colin ston I don’t know why I think that I just believe it anyway back to LaVine and Ingram I mean I thought about the rockets for a little bit and you know they’re a really good defense and they got to figure out some things on offense and sure Jaylen green is still a bit inconsistent game to game it just doesn’t feel like the Rockets are going to make a drastic shake up right now at least not for Ingram or LaVine so then at that point the amount of teams that I’m left with that are good defensively that I think have the need for just more punch on offense that also have some draft pick something based on some of the way you hear about the market with LaVine and Ingram I don’t even know if teams like want to give up picks like that but okay the only other team I fall on is the Warriors but there was a report like four months ago from sham saying the Warriors are not entertaining LaVine or Ingram it would also be financial help another team for you really good on defense could use some more help on offense the Clippers the only way you can get the money is if Norm is in the deal but Norm has been so good that you’re just not trading him I do remember that the kings were rumored for Ingram at one point before they got to Rosen but since then it’s been pretty quiet the Kings also have their own problems to fix before we can really start thinking about them in trades so anyway typical me fashion can’t really find the deal and then somebody gets traded and then I’m like whoa look at this anyway look these dudes Get Buckets okay let us not forget that anyway let’s talk about cam Johnson well we’ll start with the Nets in general real quick I don’t think the Nets are going to trade cam Thomas I would bet no on Claxton but that one might be like a little more possible I think someone would have to kind of blow him away with an offer I think Dory and finy Smith will get moved and now we can talk about cam Johnson great three-point shooter can flow on and off the ball not like a shot Creator who you’re going to run a bunch of offense through but can put the ball on the floor when you need it defensively he can fit in and I think it’s very easy to slot him on basically any team in the league I believe the report was multiple first round picks will be the asking price and also if I didn’t say this his contract is in the 20s for the next three years so he’s a bit more affordable than LaVine or Ingram sure the Nets don’t have to trade him but it feels like his value is pretty good right now now whether they’re dream of multiple first- round picks is a reality that’s a whole another thing like if his market ends up dropping a little bit more than they would like then at that point you really can imagine basically anybody going for him if I could just try to name a couple teams like I tried to get him to Cleveland or Dallas that one would really depend on the market not being as heavy on picks Dallas has a couple of picks to play with Cleveland basically doesn’t have any I did think about cam Johnson to the Spurs for about 4 seconds because yes the Spurs they’ve got extra picks they have tradable contracts I just assume they’re not really going to do anything uh the Grizzlies were another team I thought about with Cam they’ve got picks and they’ve also got tradable contracts the biggest one probably being Marcus Smart where it hurts me to say it but that Reon when he had against the Mavs he had a horrific fourth quarter cam getting threes created for him by John Mor I mean that just makes sense however the Grizzlies have just a lot of guys I mean Ed went down they’ve been going with a jiren Jackson Brandon Clark front Court the minutes with those two on the court together have been really good but Ed’s got to come back at some point and get minutes and they’re just comfortably having Jaylen Wells as the fifth starter taking on tough assignments on defense and shooting threes so they might just have too many guys the other thing too is will the Nets want more than just salary filler plus picks I mean I think that’s about the limit of what you can ask for for cam Johnson but they’re not me I did think about the Warriors for a second with Cam Johnson contract wise I mean DeAnthony Melton pretty much has to be in the deal it sucks to say that because Melton was playing well but he got hurt and it’s just the reality of the NBA I can’t pretend it wouldn’t happen if they make a deal but then after that you’re looking at gp2 who matters for them like whenever he’s on the court they’re good you still have to put in a little bit more money so it’s not easy cuz you might have to gut like a little too much of your depth in order to get somebody like cam what I will say is between looking at their collapse in the fourth quarter against the nuggets and their game against the Suns where Steph didn’t have it so therefore they just couldn’t score enough feels like the Warriors need to do something now maybe they should look to getting more size on the court but also they might need to try to lean more on getting like kaminga with Stephen Draymond lineups but if you’re doing that that might push you more towards like draymont at the five lineup so then do you really want to commit to a big there’s a many things with the Warriors and for what it’s worth like Trace Jackson Davis’s minutes have been a little up and down lately um I didn’t even talk about the fact of like should the Warriors entertain moving picks given Steph’s age you know if I can mention Sacramento again I think if they can figure out their own stuff they could be a cam Johnson team they do have some picks to trade they do have the Kevin herder contract but again you can’t be entertaining tradeing picks when you’re currently two games below 500 so yeah uh you can again do this exercise with many teams with Cam Johnson you can definitely think of some that I didn’t think of I mean hell any of those teams I mentioned earlier like maybe there’s a way the magic can pulled that off and obviously you don’t have to give up as much as you would as for a LaVine or an Ingram anyway let’s move on to some other stuff so speaking of LaVine we can talk about Vu real quick if you think you can take on Vu and still be good on defense and then you can benefit off of his pick and Pops then okay fine which is why the Lakers rumors have kind of confused me like yeah they would be bigger and he would help on the boards and it could allow ad to be like a RoR defensively but the Lakers are bad on defense and so taking on V like really I they need more athleticism they more perimeter defense and also after that loss to the heat where they were just horrible they just need a kick in the ass really and ever since I uploaded that two early MVP vid ad is just falling fast man kozma I’m gonna be honest I don’t really care if kozma gets traded we’ll talk about it then until then I don’t know cam Johnson stole his flow let’s go to Utah because there’s been a little something there Jordan Clarkson is hurt and also wasn’t playing that well before he got hurt so I don’t know if his stock is just maybe a year or too late on that one uh John Collins if you can find like a stretch five to play with Collins I think that’s interesting although even then he and Walker Kessler have actually been better this season together than they were last year the Jazz are still a train wreck but if you want to care about that I think Colin seon if you can find him a good defensive team could step in and just be like a scorer I think that’s cool and I know Colin ston is not a playmaker like we we’ve got evidence here if Colin seon is like your lead ball handler your offense is just not that good like I said earlier I don’t know why I’m just fixated on this Colin seon in Miami thing I don’t even have a trade suggestion for you I just want to speak it into existence for some reason or whatever that means last thing on the Jazz I am not buying any Walker Kessler rumor I think the Jazz will keep him and I think they will give him an extension at the end of either this season or next season
