welcome to NBA weekly with your host [Music] DTS what’s up guys welcome to another weekly episode of NBA weekly guys where we’re going to break down a lot of rumors that are happening matter of fact most of these rumors came out today so thank God I didn’t do NBA weekly yesterday because I would have missed out on a lot of these excuse me um so let’s start with the rumor of the day guys and I think this one pertains to us Lakers fans first and foremost so I gotta get that that one out the way first Kendrick Perkins is reporting that if LeBron James requests a trade rid Paul likely won’t shut down any interested teams like he did last year so again this is per ESPN NBA right there ain’t no holding him back this season all right um and boy would that be interesting if that happened if LeBron requests to trade we have to consider him the ultimate mercenary but this is Kendrick Perkins so what do they know that we do not that’s KP now however you do have to take it with a grain so because remember last year last year around the trade deadlines Kendrick Perkins reported that there was a star that ralink was working a deal on and that never happened that never came to fruition so he’s been wrong before but still now we’re starting to hear from multiple multiple reports as well another report is that bronnie James would likely be included in any deal involving one LeBron James so says here that sour sources close to the Lakers did say that if James asked the Lakers to trade him they would work with him to find a deal that lands him where he’d rather be but also bring back let me see also bring back the kind of return that would jump start a rebuild if James was traded it’s also that bronnie James would have to be a part of that deal so things are starting to get interesting and I know it’s only the beginning because December December 15 is around the corner we’re currently in December 10th tomorrow will be December 11th so things are going to get even more intriguing more rumors I got a lot more stuff to talk about here tonight so hopefully you guys are all here with me uh make sure you hit the like button on your way in um yes GM mode is activated uh Max absolutely um very excited to see what what could happen if he does potentially ask for a trade it might actually be a blessing in the disguise in a sense that we would start to rebuild early however the sad part is it would end any conversations of current contention at all not saying that current conversations are still valid but still right it would completely end those conversations what do you guys think before I move on to the next rumors because I got plenty of rumors to get to what do you guys think if LeBron James ends up requesting a trade from the Lakers and Brony James gets in included how would you guys feel as a Laker fan base me personally I I would feel excited because it’s bringing a change it’s it would bring the dawn of a new era the end of one era and the beginning of another and then we’d have to talk about um Anthony Davis being included in packages as well I’m I’m gonna be dropping that trade scenario video I have a date for you guys officially on Thursday all right the Doomsday trade scenario LeBron James and AD request a trade video that one’s coming so again stay tuned for that I know you you guys have been asking for it but uh tomorrow I I will be busy I will also be covering uh the NBA inseason tournament over on playback so I won’t do it tomorrow but Thursday however I got you guys um he said that’s while they say bronnie would be included remember I said it a couple of days ago any team that is interested in LeBron James if I’m the Lakers front office I have to include the Sun as well it would just be too awkward to keep the Sun and trade LeBron just wouldn’t work personally for me um deep Prince says watch him ask for to return to Miami then we will get Jimmy for him not enough not enough jimmyy is not enough for him de Prince uh we would the conversation starts with Tyler herro Tyler hero the conversation starter for sure maybe bam somebody like that but yeah Jimmy’s not enough he’s Jimmy’s also on the way out if we want to start a rebuild we need younger players right so yeah we got to be smart about this whole situation um Craig what’s up man how you doing he said it proves LeBron just a mercenary not a true Laker yeah if if he does leave yeah we you know if you request a trade again from turmoil then yeah it would prove a lot of different things and we’ll have a conversation when and if it did happen all right next rumor of the day this one’s very interesting this one’s by Evan cery okay uh it says here the Trailblazers have a strong trade market developing for Robert Williams says here the Bucks the Lakers the Suns and the rockets are amongst the contending teams who have recently checked in on Williams it says here Williams is in 9.6 points six rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 18 minutes per game so that’s not bad at all 18 minutes per game um Robert Williams is an intriguing Prospect if he can stay healthy then that’s definitely intriguing right there so we do have that also it is being reported that the Trailblazers have received trade interest for Anthony Simons who I really like Jeremy Grant as well as obviously Robert Williams so this is per Shams chirania of ESPN now Portland could receive a large amount of assets to accelerate their rebuilding efforts if they made all three available on the market so what do you guys think of that do you guys like that package um again I’m kind of split I’m split I don’t know which direction Lakers are going in so to me it really depends on that I I do like the Portland TR Blazer Ro players I like them a lot all if we can get all three of them great we can halt all the Lebron James and Anthony Davis trade conversation but most likely you’ll be able to get one or two maximum right and Robert Williams should be priority even though the other two players are more skilled if we’re talking about just skill per se but I I do like that rumor a lot and um a lot there’s gonna be a lot of sellers I’m telling you I expected teams like the Portland trle to be sellers the Utah Jets who ironically have quote unquote taken Walker caser off the trade market apparently they want to build with him I don’t believe it I just don’t think they’re getting the trade offers they want so they’re probably going to play hard ball until somebody ponies up the draft picks um but you know some of the better players available right now the port troublers just have them right uh let’s see here is not LeBron’s fault if he asked for a trade Genie bus and ralink have failed LeBron and AD Tony I think it’s everybody’s fault to be honest with you I think it’ll be yes the front office is very ply they they share the biggest slice of the pie but I think it’s everybody’s fault if it does happen it it is it is and one thing we’ve known about LeBron is when the going gets tough LeBron gets going it’s happen before and I’m not mad at him for it I mean look in the current NBA you have the right to play for whoever you want right and these these players have even more power you know they do they just do the CBA empowers the players they get to sign extensions and then request the trade right after back then you sign an extension you’re stuck there buddy but now if you request a trade you even can roll out your list LeBron has the cach a to be able to not only request a trade but roll out his list of what teams he wants to be for since he does have a no trade uh claw right he can literally n any trade any trade uh hey Dan how’s it going it’s going good thank you Haley for asking uh she said here’s a blockbuster trade AR connect ruy DLo both first round pick swaps for Trey young and Dyson Daniels this is assuming Braun stays oh you know what Haley on paper it sounds good because we get a star but if you think about it that’s a lot of depth you’re giving up for that one star especially since that one star is is an undersized point guard right um AR is a great playmaker in score he’s proven it now that he’s been missing we haven’t looked the same connect has probably the most potential on this team as far as young players moving forward ruy I mean he’s Hit or Miss but some when he hits he looks great like he did the last game and then DLo he’s an expiring contract both on top of that both first- round picks I think that’s a that’s a super overpay for the Hawks I think with that package might be able to get something a little bit better than Trey Young from the Hawks but a different variation of that package might actually work I would love the land Trey young he’s always been one of my favorite players rightfully so he’s clutch uh we saw it firsthand but yeah um it would be exciting for sure let’s see here uh Lakers doing the same thing they do every year no impactful trades we’re gonna see Hillary we’re gonna see because you know what all I can say about the Lakers is they’re unpredictable and they have been uh we’re going to get into the Jimmy Rumors in just a bit for sure D free says I think fans would be really underwhelmed with a LeBron trade it won’t net back what he’s worth at all yeah I agree but I think we we’ll be even more underwhelmed D free if we end up trading for pieces to help LeBron and AD and they end up getting eliminated first or second round again all right so I much rather jump start a a rebuild than than uh you know put together a phony championship team like a team that pretends to be a championship team but then old LeBron shows up or not clutch ad or you know the ad that misses free throws in the playoffs or some variation of that version of AD could definitely hold this down especially since LeBron’s older and the special moments will come but they will come in spurts right so that’s my only push back on that is I will say that Brandon Miller from the Hornets worth the first definitely Brandon Brandon Miller from the Hornets might be worth two first round no not might be two first round picks for sure CU he’s a star in the making and he’s a three and D Wing more three than D but definitely three and D all right let’s move on to the next rumor because we got plenty of these rumors to talk about let’s see which one should I bring up here I’m saving the best for L Nate the Nets trade market for cam Johnson appears significant apparently the Grizzlies the magic and the Kings Lakers and Warriors are amongst contending teams who have checked in on the Nets on their Sharp Shooting Wing uh if Brooklyn Trad Johnson they have the market to get what they desire wow I wish anybody said that about the Lakers other players that the Nets would be willing to trade are obviously Dorian fny Smith um Dennis schruder and cam Johnson or should I say cam Thomas so look for the Nets to be potentially major sellers in the trade deadline as well um but yeah the Nets again they have a market or’s some market for cam uh Johnson um what do you guys think of Cam Johnson would you guys like him on the Lakers is he enough you know is he enough to push the needle for you Laker fans like I’m curious because I like cim Johnson I’m not a like I’m not like in fatuated as some other fans have been like this kid has had star potential since he came in the league he hasn’t really realized that right I want a consistent player or a player that has true star potential that’s you know can show it more than once in a while um let’s see D Prince says keep connect for as much as possible I feel he has more to offer if we only play him properly he still has great potential yeah you know what as far as Dalton I’d like to hold on to him as much as possible uh there’s very few trade packages that I would include him in to be honest if we’re being quite Frank right how does everybody feel about um cam J Johnson that’s what I want to talk about right now cam Johnson how we feeling about him you guys like him you guys think he moves a needle I like him I wouldn’t say he’s my favorite but you know there is there’s a trade market there and things are going to get interesting there my dog always barks like that when the door my apologies uh hey what’s up solo good to see you bro good to see you man we’re just in here talking the latest rumors there’s plenty still to go including a a juicy Jimmy Butler trade rumor that uh you know cannot wait to unravel towards the end um let’s see what’s up Dan how you been and do you hear any update Lakers make a trade move yeah there’s a lot of trade rumors we’re talking about currently right now even including LeBron James trade rumors are starting to spike up and the LeBron James trade rumors are extremely uh interesting because it says here that rich Paul won’t get in the way of any potential Suitor so it’s almost like they’re welcoming great offers for LeBron it’s almost like they’re saying come save us Golden State or Cleveland or somebody who’s interested in me uh because the Lakers apparently aren’t interested in building a contender like I’m sick of it I think that’s what LeBron and Rich paa are saying I think I could be wrong but according to rumors man uh no Kendrick Perkins not just Anthony Irwin Kendrick Perkins is reporting that if the Lakers LeBron James request a trade Rich Paul won’t likely uh won’t shut down any interested teams like he did last year so that’s rich that’s a rich Paul thing right there I’m doing good John how you doing man good to see you bro my apologies on my dog he’s going crazy because I probably have some company over uh Dalton would shine more when LeBron leaves or retires he will get more shot attempts dalon Austin Reeds everybody shines more once the star players are off the team the downside is you win less too right because there’s gonna be a learning curve and there’s gota there’s going to be a moment when these players have to learn to take it to the next level or you have to recruit a play that can take it to the next level so it’s not going to be all sunshines and rainbows like defree said some people might be underwhelmed for the package LeBron might bring back especially since he controls how he gets traded and when he gets traded but again we got plenty of more rumors to go through here the Hornets are according to multiple reports open a trading veteran Wing Cody Martin now Martin’s making about 8.1 million this year while being under contract through 2025 2026 Martin’s averaging 8.6 points 4 rebounds and 2.4 assists this season for Charlotte so I lowkey kind of like him you know as a three and D wi guy as well so he’s interesting right he’s interesting um Cody Martin man what what do you guys think of him I liked him when he was on the heat as well uh he said Perkins is not a source either Brun doesn’t like him yeah but you know what Savage I I I wouldn’t be surprised if if what they’re reporting is true because come on we’ve all seen it before right we’ve all seen it before this would be the first time in LeBron’s history and in his career that he gets traded now I’m not saying it’s likely but if it were to happen it wouldn’t shock me because the Lakers right now haven’t positioned themselves to be a top team in the west as of right now that could change after the trade deadline that could change after December 15 potentially but right now you know the Lakers future is in Peril we don’t know which direction they’re going is it rebuild is it retool is it nothing nothing would be worst casee scenario I prefer they push the chips one way or the other right let’s see here um if we get LaVine can we also get the somu I’d be willing to uh give up Christy D somu and then DLo ruy and Gabe for LaVine well from what I’m hearing Haley from what I’m hearing about the Lakers nobody is interested in Zack Levine right now according to multiple reports he has no market so I guess the recent scoring Outburst hasn’t really helped his scoring Market very much right now I do have another rumor here for you guys and that is uh that several contending teams are expected to pursue Kyle kma on the trade market per Shams chirania kosma is under contract through 2026 2027 season but he’s also on a descending salary of 23.5 million uh the first year then 21.5 followed by 19.4 on the third year of his contract so um his contract might look very lucrative to teams I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lakers get involved on that one either so yeah Kyle kosmo most likely will be shipped off man today we had just a treasure Trope of rumors just fly off the rails because stuff is becoming more real we got five days till a lot of these contracts become attainable thus making more trade options available right making more different combinations of trade packages available and making more trades more realistic now my theory is there will be a lot of sell in this trade deadline because we absolutely positively know that some teams don’t want to pay that first apron second apron or third apron to keep a team together teams like the Pelicans are selling because they they have a high payroll and they don’t want to extend certain players like Brandon Ingram but see now things get complicated since he tweaked his ankle because now he’s out indefinitely so you can see other team other players from the Pelicans also becoming available in teams like that that are have a high payroll and aren’t winning and they don’t want to be a middle of the road team right so CJ McCullum is what I’m hearing I’m hearing the Pelicans uh you know might be interested in a potential trade of CJ McCullum who’s by the way is averaging 20 points 3.9 assist uh this season for the New Orleans Pelicans right he’s 33 years old and again he’s under contract through uh the 2025 2026 season making uh 30 plus mil so that is definitely a risky contract what do you guys think of like a potential CJ McCullum not that we need another combo scoring guard but yeah that’s an interesting piece as well uh let’s see my guy deep Prince says I will be okay with Cam but not among my top priorities in my opinion an fry Simons is so enticing would you get him along with Robert Williams for DLo ruy Gabe and jayen Hino maybe a first rounder yes Anthony Simons with Robert Williams would definitely be worth a first-rounder to me Simons is is is a Young Piece who’s very talented combo guard fits the modern NBA I do like Anthony Simons Prince I definitely do and I hope that uh you know he does become available like he’s rumored to be but again December 15 is the the day to mark your Calenders guys the next rumor I have is uh that teams have begun to call the Pelicans about a potential availability of herb Jones now if according to Shams chirania now if if New Orleans made Jones avail They will receive a significant amount of Assets in return Jones is viewed as one of the NBA’s most versatile perimeter Defenders Lakers anyone I would love herb Jones herb Jones is really really good player I think he exactly what the doctors order as far as far as a wing Defender who can space the floor he got good size on him how would you guys feel about a potential herb Jones to the Lakers deal that’s what I would love to know right now because I think this dude is the real deal he’s legit he’s legit man herbs Jones is a real Hooper man and and and to me I think he fits more of what we need obviously we need a big man priority wise but we could also use a true three and D Wing since we can’t get that from ruy or V and if we if we mix both of them together you might have something there but again depending on the asking price I think that could be a really good get for any team especially a team like the Lakers who can who can utilize a piece like that to do some damage um to me he might be better than a contract per se of like Jeremy Grant I much rather have a herb Jones type deal on my roster right like that that would be interesting as well what do you guys think let’s see Dan I want dayon sharp badly more than uh Jonas his motor is crazy he’s 23 would help uh a lot I do like dayon sharp and he also might be available you know he also might be available uh so we we’ll see what happens there my guy say V for herb I do it only because V’s always hurt I like vand better defensively but I do it for sure that’s an interesting one right there all right another rumor I have guys the Miami Heat are apparently open to listening to trade offers for Jimmy Butler all right now according to sources Butler is open to playing for the Dallas Mavericks the Houston Rocket and the Golden State Warriors now that’s a big ouch all right and I think that’s indicative of of how the Lakers have looked in this LeBron era not being able to put pieces around him because a lot of players star players guys like clay who we whiffed on and now potentially Jimmy Butler don’t even mention the Lakers as the top list players why do you guys think that is we need to we need to stop right there and we need to think about it why do you guys think players like Jimmy Butler and Klay don’t want to be a part of LeBron James and the Lakers could it be that the LeBron James rivalry over the years the fact that we beat them in the finals could it be that uh they don’t believe in his front office and and or could it be that maybe everybody knows LeBron is on the way out what could it be right because whatever it is man I’m very curious to know why franchises and teams or should I say players no longer look in this direction why why is that it’s starting to feel like the Mitch cup check gy bus era all over again and I don’t like that because I thought we were gone from that right uh what’s up hey how you doing sis good to see you Dan are are there more sellers than buyers it seems like there’s more sellers which is a good thing right if there is more sellers according to rumors and reports yes that’s what I was talking about just a little bit ago Tara is the fact that with the new CBA there’s going to be more sellers but I could be wrong we’ll I guess we’ll find out after trade deadline but right now it is looking like there’s more sellers than buyers and you’re right because that means we might be able to get a decent price on a player or two instead of you know the paying the Laker tax to try to get these pieces so um but it does feel like and truly feels like there’s more sellers than buyers um and and according to all these reports I’m hearing man so many different teams out here offering pieces we talked about Anthony Simons we talked about Zack LaVine and nobody wanted to to bite on that we talked about herb Jones and how the Pelicans might be willing to come off of that contract and also we talked about Cody Martin and and and the the Charlotte Hornets as well as the Blazers with uh anony Simons Jeremy Grant and and and also uh Robert Williams who I really like for the Lakers so um yeah there seems to be more sellers but I guess time will tell because sometimes we can see something and then it could be something completely different right it could be something completely like different but yeah this new CBA has made it complicated for a lot of teams to make moves but at the end of the day I do expect there to be a lot of sellers because guys been trying to move out of that uh threshold or you know they’re trying to build for the future with draft picks that are cheaper than contracts sometimes uh solo says LeBron gets all the credit and everyone else gets the blame I don’t agree with it but I think that’s why man you know what man it bothers me when great players can’t get the proper help now LeBron’s played with a tremendous amount of Hall of Famers throughout his career but a lot of the times it feels like those players and those Hall of Famers it feels feels like those guys are past their Prime right Kobe Bryant also played with his fair share of Hall of Famers and great players but I also felt towards the end of their career like he couldn’t they couldn’t really land a specific type of player and right now that’s what it feels like where LeBron’s at right now maybe it’s the uncertainty maybe it’s the rumors coming out that LeBron might want out but um are they going to be serious or are they just all smoking mirors like last season last season rumors were all smoking mirors Lakers ended up doing nothing I rather them do something to be honest than nothing whether it’s start the rebuild face or retool but do something I don’t want them to sit in on their hands because they don’t get paid to sit on their hands in that case they might as well pay me to sit here and and watch the Lakers and root for them from here it’s the same I’m doing the same job Rob plank is doing right uh let’s see Tara says true because only the Kings Warriors and Lakers and Grizzlies are looking to buy well according to reports remember there’s always also moves that happen behind the scenes that we never hear about and they happen they just they happen when you least expect them so this could be another situation another case where that goes down as well hey what’s up KD good to see you my boy I hear flexing his membership I see you thank you for being a member brother I truly appreciate it uh bayah says Jimmy Butler had enough of doing everything for the heat on the Mavericks and warriors he wouldn’t do that much well if you think about it on the Lakers he’d be the third third best player by default sometimes he’d be the second best when LeBron has an off night and vice versa right but um I think Jimmy on the Lakers would be exactly what the doctors ordered a tough player who can bring that grit that tenacity that intensity and I’m shocked he doesn’t have this on his list um you know we’re actually favored it to land them we’re like the fourth favored team on uh I forgot uh what’s that website that puts him out there man for the betting website we’re the fourth favor to land him even though we don’t have him on the list but um or he doesn’t have us on the list but it it is very disconcerning that the fact that a lot of these players don’t even put us on their list anymore man um did I think Kyrie was the last star player to have the Lakers on his list when he was requesting a trade I think it was Kyrie but since then uh before then I remember we wanted a Paul George years ago he didn’t have us on his list Carmelo didn’t have us on his list when when the Lakers were curious about signing him when we had Mitch and Jim we couldn’t even get a meeting with him LaMarcus Aldridge didn’t even want to give us a meeting uh who else didn’t want to give us a meeting a lot of star players just didn’t have it and that was before LeBron was here so we can’t even blame that on him at some point the front office gonna have to put on their big boy pants and go to work and recruit and get players to want to come and play here otherwise you know there’s no point Savage says dan Brun taking a l money this summer for Bruce Brown is 100% happening but I want to be good this year badly the thing about Bruce Brown is he’s a great contract if he’s healthy if he’s not healthy then he’s just another Vando he’s just another Christian Wood those guys are great players to have on your team when they’re healthy but the way that this medical staff has been operating and the way that that we roll I don’t know if you want to get an injury riddled player he’s been injury Riddle recently I’m not sure you want that uh Jimmy still spazzing out about the finals in 2020 it could be that maybe I’m overthinking it but it’s the way this front office has been operated lately that has me very concerned and I’m not very happy about the way that and the direction if we even have a direction that we’re moving it and I don’t think any real Laker fan is happy about it right now right so it wouldn’t shock me at all if LeBron requested a trade and it actually makes the Lakers look bad it makes us look like we failed LeBron you know and and uh we did a lot for LeBron him being here we did a lot for him but sometimes a lot is not enough and what the Lakers fans expected from ad and LeBron versus what we got it just fell short so I think if this continues and we don’t make any moves and and we show LeBron that we’re not really in it to win it and he might we might hear about something crazy happening in January or February you never know but I’m not expecting it I’m not expecting it at all I think it really has to come from LeBron and throughout his career he’s never than that he’s put pressure on front office to make trades to surround him with talent but I don’t think he’s ever put pressure on a front office to trade him right and to trade him where he wants so it’s just it’s pretty it’s a pretty interesting situation and scenario that the Lakers are on right now and I’m very curious as a Laker fan you’re never bored because you always know that something might be around the corner something dramatic some crazy trade might be right there for the taken so let’s see solo says guys don’t want to come here because hold up let’s see guys don’t want to come here because they can’t handle these bright lights that could be another issue right there too but then Jimmy Butler does play for Miami man there’s some pretty bright lights there it’s a pretty big city it’s is very well covered City it’s not like he played for Utah or Milwaukee or some undercover team you know but but still I I I honestly for the life of me I can’t figure why you want wouldn’t want to play in the city of city of Los Angeles Beautiful People wonderful weather it just a wonderful place to be or is it right we don’t know we don’t know what these guys go through so all right uh let me see what I can pop up here uh players of the week players of the week guys I want to bring up these players of the week right here man shout out to Luca and Tyler hero who by the way cooked us are the Eastern Conference and Western Conference players of the week and Luca is averaging 20 29.3 points 11 rebounds and 8.3 assist and led his team to three W straight wins in the west meanwhile P hero 25 points six rebounds 5.5 assist and led his team to three and one on the week so those are your players of the week chat um and we’re gonna get into Power Rankings and all that everything we do on NBA weekly but before I do all that comments questions concerns I’d love to hear from you guys how’s you guys week going man no Lakers we’re stress free for a little bit we’re kind of chilling I feel good been in the studio you know been night gam and just just you know taking it easy till the stress comes back on Friday um but how’s everybody doing let’s see I’ll read a couple AMC says crazy we traded away all the young Talent all of our picks I don’t know what else we could have done for Braun that’s what I’m saying AMC I think um there were definitely some horrible mistakes made by Rob palena whether it was letting Caruso go or trading for Westbrook or not getting another big man but we definitely did the most we could I I guess you know recently a rumor surfaced that Tyron Lou said that he felt disrespected by the Lakers and LeBron was trying to beg him to come over and I guess Tyron L wanted to prove a point I don’t know what what point he proved he went to the trashiest organization ever but um yeah apparently that had a lot to do with uh with the way LeBron might be feeling right now and as but now we hir JJ that’s his guy right so you know what it is man LeBron is a really big star and that comes with a lot of spoiled right LeBron is spoiled he’s used to get in his way when he didn’t get his way in Miami he went back to Cleveland he didn’t get his way in Cleveland because they kept the draft pick and turned out to be Colin ston came to La he been getting his way in LA but if he doesn’t get his way and he doesn’t see a trade happening maybe he has a deadline in his head and maybe by then he will because trust me teams will pounce on him as soon as they hear LeBron wants out if that does happen indeed everybody’s calling and it’s it’s not going to be up to the Lakers to see what they accept says here the Lakers would work with LeBron James meaning that LeBron would have to approve what comes and what goes in order for a trade to happen so it’s more complicated than we think for sure you think tamaa you think so you know what that was my prediction as well but he hasn’t announced anything you would think if LeBron is going to retire he’s gonna announce a farewell tour or something right for whatever reason he hasn’t announced the thing which gives me reason to believe that he might want to stick around for Bryce or something maybe his son is telling him come on pops I’m trying to get in the league like bronnie just stick around for a little bit and he’s probably telling son if I could you know if I could I will you know so maybe that has something to do with it who knows you know I think if LeBron brings Bryce into the league I think he’s gonna be I think he will be living up lvar Ball’s dream of all three of them playing on one team so that will be interesting right but it most likely won’t be on the Lakers let’s see nine live says dan I would be happy when LeBron player fans are gone I I I feel you on that some of these player fans could be annoying but not all of them man I’ve met some really cool ones I’ve made friends with some really great ones some are great not all of them some are really bad for the sport because you can’t even talk objective basketball with them right away they think you’re a hater if you critique their favorite player or they’ll start hating on you so yeah I know I know the toxic ones you’re talking about I see a lot of them on Twitter all the time uh Lakers biggest problem was not replacing Vandal this year n our biggest problem was not doing anything this year or even last trade deadline I think most Laker fans knew that we needed something done since last trade deadline and when it didn’t happen we kind of figured oh man like even though we got hot towards the end of March but we figured oh man this might be this might end real short and it did it ended in the first round that’s never a successful season for the Lakers not even second round exit right third round exit at least you’re cooking something up you’re like getting closer but ever since we lost to toh Denver in the Western Conference Finals we’ve kind of regressed right we’ve kind of regressed and instead of making deals which is something that Dr Jerry bus would have did he wouldn’t have stood Pat he would have made deals he would have been risky you got to risk it for the biscuit right scared money don’t make money all of that so instead of doing all that the Lakers just sat on their hands and hope for the best and they hope for health we haven’t had health they hired a new coach was which was necessary but there’s only so much even a new coach can do when he doesn’t have the proper tools and when a one of your best Stars is aging and the other star is mentally fragile in ad so there’s just so much man so much going on how you doing man I’m all good to see sellers don’t be surprised if Jonas Val chunis is a piece that the Lakers go after here um you know they are three and 19 so rightfully so they should be selling everything uh Pelicans 5 and 20 all right and they should also be sellers both of these teams should be racing towards the bottom to be one of the bottom three teams for their best chance at Cooper flag so I can see the the Pelicans also selling off a bunch of players you know trading off uh you know guys like CJ I don’t know if Brandon has any tradem Market maybe a little bit maybe even Zion maybe it’s time to let him go he’s always hurt Portland guys another seller another team we just beat them thank God uh the Jazz Big Time sellers here five and 18 those teams those these three these one two three four bottom teams right here jocking for the the bottom three spots so those are to me three of the biggest Sellers and then you got Charlotte Charlotte trying to move up but man I don’t know if the Charlotte curse or whatever it is they they just they in my life watching the the Bobcats and now the Charlotte Hornets they have never been good not even one season isn’t that crazy to think about but yeah 28 it’s like they’re right on on schedule Pacers have been shocking me because they they have some good pieces they have Pascal SE yakum obviously Tyrese halber who hasn’t been having a great year like they have some pieces but here they are number 25th Toronto is another team that I wouldn’t be shocked if they become stellers uh recently Scotty Barnes got hurt couldn’t even feel his foot that’s unfortunate he’s a really good player uh the Pistons to me are overachieving 10 and 15 at 23 overachieving but it’s early it’s early Brooklyn Brooklyn is actually a decent team this year overachieving as well they’ve dealt with some injuries recently Thomas went down um interesting team right here will they be sellers we’ll see they could be danis shooter having a heck of a year uh you know they got a couple hoopers over there the Bulls should be sellers they’re always right there bottom of the barrel they should be Sellers as well the Spurs Spurs are 12- 12 I think this is one of the biggest surprises of the season but personally me I’m not shocked because I knew wemi would uh Elevate his game to the next level and he’s done exactly just that uh the Lakers man you hate to see them we down here 1311 two games over 500 but at number 19 you know well 20 games into the season basically a quarter of the Season gone and we’re number 19 that’s not good not for a team that has LeBron and AD and they’ve been healthy for 99.9% of the season so yeah uh Philly like Philly is better this is what I don’t get though we have a better record than Philly but somehow Philly is over us I don’t agree with the power rankings there Philly is trash Philly is in a worse situation than we are Joel and beid man his knees are done that zesty rookie ain’t doing nothing the zesty bestie ain’t really going to get nobody over the hump sorry Paul George waste the money all right uh and then the Sacramento Kings to me are underachieving this year but they moved up a little bit here um the Suns they’ve dealt with their fair share injuries as well recently Kevin Durant out again they ain’t [ __ ] without KD that’s one thing I know and then the the the Bucks have risen because well actually they’re the same as last week but they’ve gotten a little bit better because they were like six games below 500 to start the season so you know obviously a team with Yiannis is gonna rise a little bit but I still don’t believe in that coaching staff absolute Mega trash um and then the Atlanta Hawks again why do they are they better in the power rankings than we are maybe because they’ve been playing better lately I don’t know Atlanta Hawks 13 and 12 G I still remember that dagger Trey young just cooked us man um and then Denver I told you guys I don’t think Denver is a contender this year and so far even though jic putting up big numbers there only two games over 500 in the west that’s not going to get it done Minnesota starting to jail here a little bit after their trade they struggled a lot to start the year but they’re starting to jail a little bit shout out to uh Minnesota it’s going to be a tough team trust me once they get it together I like the trade they did a lot of people didn’t like it I liked it I think both teams benefited look at Miami 12 and 10 and out here trying to trade Jimmy Butler because he’s going to sign an extension you got the flippers you hate to see it you hate to see the flippers this High they’re just that annoying pesky team that’s always a pretender but they won’t go away they’re like I I should call them regular season Warriors but here’s the irony they literally made the play in tournament for this scrub of franchise and they still haven’t made it into the elimination rounds they’re trash uh Orlando Magic or should I call them Orlando tragic because both of their star players have suffered a similar in injury right suffered an oblique injury so they were hooping and then their Stars went down product of the system and Chef curry ball just running and gunning not practicing uh the Knicks I told you guys they would start jelling I still like their team I liked it from the beginning I like it now they have moved into to the top 10 uh and they look good man they look really good Carl towns is starting to hoop for them you know jayen Brunson is starting to come to life that’s a really goodlooking team actually they’re my favorite to win the uh End season tournament so yeah uh the Rockets have fallen off a little bit which you kind of expected but they’re still a really good team this year very dangerous very poised uh they moved up a little bit the Golden State Warriors I still don’t believe in this franchise right here I don’t believe in them at all uh Memphis Grizzlies moving up a little bit who cares uh Dallas moved up to be expected right they got Luca they got Kyrie they’re gonna be a problem for sure they added clay right Clays a wild card you never know how he plays OKC moving up in spite of injuries they’re 18 and five man what an amazing young team and what a way that Sam prey has rebuilt this franchise since losing Kevin Durant for nothing and trading away Russell Westbrook James Harden and Serge Ibaka they have really made a full complete turnaround and uh Gil Alexander is is is is leading the charge for that franchise there ah man Boston number two they’re going to be around there man ever since they made that stupid trade that the Portland gave up uh you know Drew holiday they they pretty much have the keys to the to the NBA right now because they just have a really deep roster with Drew holiday Drew holiday was the missing piece for me and then the Caps the Caps continue to remain at the top of the East still the surprise but uh you know when when they made the trade for Donovan Mitchell that’s what I expected from the Cleveland Cavaliers right for them to be up there and uh it took them a couple Seasons but there they are at the top all all the way at the top so shout out to the Caps man um and could that be a landing destination for LeBron if he request a trade could he want to go back home and try to win another one with them right because they have the pieces they they would either have to include either Evan Moy who I’d love to have us UFC guy you know pair him up with ad or even if you trade ad you have your future piece right there or Darius Garland who you know I like him but I don’t favor him as much as I do Moy because Moy I think will be a bigger impact play in this league right and bigs are harder to get so if I’m the Lakers and LeBron wants to trade they can pair LeBron up with Donovan Mitchell and and and Garland and and Jared Allen but I need Moy right and I need some draft picks around that as well um you know but again Thursday I will be dropping that
