college basketball so I watched this game the other night on uh Tennessee Illinois and champagne I don’t know if you watched that game that was the worst shooting game I have ever seen in my life honestly neither team could hit a shot from outside I mean it was Brick City the whole game one after the next and then late in the game Illinois started hitting threes but it didn’t matter because at the buzzer my man gy went Coast to Coast Off the Bench and made a layup with one literally not one tick left on the clock and it counted he got that off way before that uh red light and the vs steel one on the road in uh champagne against Underwoods fighting a line night they gave Tennessee all they could handle but Tennessee struggled in that game shooting so badly that they let Illinois stay in the game and Illinois had a rockish crowd at home that was the ugliest win I’ve ever seen right there is no way I believe for one minute that the Tennessee balls are the number one team in the country Auburn is better than Tennessee uh Tennessee cannot shoot so I don’t want to hear it from anybody don’t tell me they’re number one when I watch them Clank like 90 shots on Saturday I don’t care who they’re playing if you miss that many shots you’re not the best team in the country Scot I was just going to say that I’m like Auburn would take Tennessee out to the Woodshed like Tennessee at Auburn like any day oh we talked about it we said auburn was going to smoke they did this team is on fire they’re running good teams out of the gym like the alurn tigers are better than the volunteers could couldn’t agree more I mean did you see what uh Auburn did to Ohio State they beat him 91 to 53 yeah yeah they did like that’s the thing and not even on was it the game in Georgia that’s the thing they’re beating these teams by 38 points Ohio state is like I’m not going to say they’re great but they’re a respectable program Auburn is amazing when they’re on I almost think they’re unbeatable I’m with you they’re not number two they’re number one the Tigers role I think they’re number one and that game was at the State Farm in Atlanta Florida played Arizona State there as well we hit that game too the gator smoked the sundevils 8366 we hit Auburn uh the the line I covered against Tennessee I can tell you that much and then we hit Louisville at 10 and a half against Kentucky Kentucky beat him by eight at rup and I thought Louisville gave him a game we hit Dayton at home over number six Marquette they were down big they won 7163 Alabama uh got by kraton at home I don’t think they covered I think they won by eight I don’t think they covered that number Kansas I watched that game man do they get every call at fog Allen it makes me sick to my stomach they won that game by 15 over NC State they kept talking about during the game how tough this NC State team was and I was talking back to the TV like shut the f up tough tough they’re down 15 tough what is tough I mean Christ what and 2,231 toal total points Jenny got 309 first place votes 517 second and 2017 so you know bottom line 231 to 17 he got it done the two-way player from Boulder wins the Heisman Jenny said he thinks he should have walked away with the trophy but he’ll have to keep working hard to prove people wrong 132 yards from breaking Barry Sanders single season college record of course Dion denies that let’s go back to the decision on Saturday night to give Hunter the Heisman Trophy cam how do you feel about it I feel he’s the most deserving player and I really like jenty walked away with it the guy’s a two-way player like like what are we talking about here Hunter’s amazing and the thing is when you’re bad football team in the NFL you can draft a guy that could do so many little things and change your fate like Hunter’s the type of guy that will do that Scott I don’t know what’s going to happen we talk about Charles Woodson but I know it doesn’t happen in the NFL but it’d be amazing to the real deal I’m sorry he’s definitely the favorite and deservedly so so what’s your feeling about the trophy it’s self I remember a time in my life that it really mattered and I just don’t feel that any more anyone gives a rat’s ass about the Heisman Trophy I know they try to cram it down our throats and we do it here on Sports grid as well every week updating the odds for the Heisman Trophy and all the other nonsense that it is I don’t think anyone cares about it anymore except the guy that wins it uh is you know I guess set for life you win the Heisman Trophy you remembered forever you’re in the club and it is important I think to the guy that wins it for sure but do you really think that fans and really frankly the media cares about the Heisman Trophy anymore it’s an excellent point last time you watched it like I haven’t watched it in 10 years I watch it but it’s just when I was younger I watched it all the time now I can you know if I got money on a game or whatever it was back and forth back and forth back and forth and I always have money on a game so you’re right it used to be like religious for me not watching that over again game that I’m betting money on on a Saturday all right so Marcus Freeman got a longterm extension they’re saying it’s four years which isn’t very long term to me uh but it makes him one of the highest paid coaches in the country well here’s what I have to say about that uh I think uh when you when you’re the coach at Notre Dame you should be one of the highest paid coaches in the country it’s Notre Dame and uh do you think he deserves a long-term extension for the 11 wins this year and the job he’s done with the Irish yes I do I know that loss to Northern Illinois was bad but I think Freeman has done a great job huge bowl game again huge game against Indiana your Elma moer Scotty should be a lot of fun I’m going to say this too that is a hard job and know what the craziest thing is Brian Kelly could have just stayed at Notre Dame and uh I just think that uh I gotta go with my hooers I really do I’m really looking forward to uh Friday night by the way Penn State quarterback Drew Aller will return for his senior season at Penn State his backup pribula will skip the playoffs and enter the transfer portal because he found out that is coming back and he’ll never play another down at Penn State as sure as he’s sitting there today I’ll say this I think Drew Aller needs a senior year at Penn State because I don’t think he’s NFL ready I think he’s been average at best at Penn State and he proved it against Oregon with his two interceptions that cost him the game I think he does need a full season of seasoning I do not believe he’s ready for the NFL now they projected him as the fourth quarterback taken in the draft and I just don’t buy that for one minute that he’s ready to lead an NFL team he’d be a mess we’re we’re reading each other’s mail I feel the same way like they pumped this guy up like he’s some kind of special quarterback had people not watched him play all year at Penn State he should have been way better than he was great call by you forel he does need another year of seasoning like Bo Knicks he
