wow what a lack of performance we’ve seen from Southampton this season we’ve already been there and won once 3-2 we did the watch along for it didn’t we um but now it’s a different proposition because they have sacked Russ Martin after the game last night in which they were 5 n down at halftime to be fair the second half was nil nil so they take some credit for that but did you see him he was walking down the tunnel at 4-0 and they scored again behind his back literally and then they just took him up to the the boardroom after the game and said sry lad yeah yeah they didn’t actually shoot him metaphorically they said you Mutual consent apparently they like to say that these days don’t they did you see the fans want them out as well right walk out at 25 minutes into the game and had big massive science a horrible feeling that must be because especially that You’ brought them up from the the champ playing Amazing football I mean yes Southampton are a bit of a yo-yo team these days but all that hard work that he’s done and listen I’m no Southampton fan but I think last season he was the hero right what a guy he’s got us playing this way didn’t really get backed in the summer and now they what 15 games in they hate him and they want him gone football is so cruel sometimes it’s one of them L it’s the same old story that you see every single time a manager plays expensive football in the championship they are exceptional they win the league oh my God this is great football can they come up in the Premier League and do it no because this is the best league in the world you can’t have players that are not up to standards there’s a reason why players are are paid 300 Grand a week it’s because they’re exceptional you have to get them assets because you can’t play otherwise you just got to change your tactics and Russell M obviously didn’t have any tactics to come up with the uh assets that he had simple as that lad you’ve got to come up and play defensive football sometimes you have to you’re not the best side in the league and I think the conundrum with Russell Martin was the fact that yes there’s no doubt that he’s got a great um philosophy of a way to play football it’s positive he wants it done his way and there’s a load of tick um boxes you can tick in terms of a young British coach coming up you know might get a bigger and better chance another club in the future pretty football in the championship yes yes yes loads of boxes have been ticked yes but if you do not adapt if you do not switch things up if you do not change um against certain teams this is what will happen to you say Ad that’s what makes the best managers the best managers M do you have multiple tools in the tool box last night it was that we are who we are Derby really yeah CU an doesn’t like that came last night Liverpool fans should have been watching that thinking right we’re playing these on Wednesday and we’re playing these on Sunday right so I don’t know what’s better or week after like they lost to this is going to come down to desire and the know about the Liverpool team City I think B for a good team as well by the way if do know about this Liverpool team and all the Liverpool teams is they have massive desire to win a game that’s how we got 22 even though it was at onfield with 10 men that’s how we got it because we just fought back resilience so if it comes down to playing Tottenham and he scored early s we’ll just kick on and try and and scor again but when it comes to Southampton let me not be disrespectful but we should be absolutely smoking these Le should be yeah SE tweet this morning expect Southampton to play like Prime 1970 Brazil on Wednesday now have they got a new manager already no it won’t be um actually I don’t know I don’t know it depends be surely to do that quickly they can’t Implement looking for a manager as well and if if you’re looking around you’d rather go wolves and Southampton in my opinion they’re going to be hard right they’re going to be hard as in they’re going to run as much as they can but quality-wise Liverpool Eclipse them mate so it should just be right chase the ball chase the ball chase the ball we’re going to pass it out to your press and then we’re just going to score that’s what I expect from Liverpool a professional performance that shows us right we’re getting back to our best now so that we can go into the Tottenham game and smoke them as well that’s what I’m looking for right now I’m looking for smokes I can’t especially if the manager not if they haven’t got a new manager they haven’t even got someone to impress yet they’re just going out there and kicking a football doesn’t really mean much to them I know it’s a semi-in is probably their best opportunity to win and I think but we we should be getting though because Russell Martin got them to a quarterfinal do you think they should have said gone you can have the quarterfinal but then if he wins that they could go gone you can have the first leg of the semi that’s what it is make a decision if I was him I would have said cheers just got us to a quarterfinal of a cup and you don’t even want all right nice one cheers that’s what I would fair play like but then he also just got smoke 5 nil in the first half and that is through bad management of a teammate nobody goes 5 n down you can go one nil down you can go two nil down lad but 5 nil means you’re not implementing the right tactics for this game and your players don’t believe in what you’re trying to sell them right now so yeah it’s pretty much a good buy that’s what it is for me me yeah um so looking for Liverpool um going to be obviously changing up the team we’re going to be creative with the lineup I hope um according to the Liverpool Echo Liverpool without four players against Southampton as an slot def faces a defensive crisis um obviously Elliot’s back Allison’s back Dogo J’s back all positive um kesa will probably be thrown into this game now as well is this going to be one of robo’s banned games yes okay um Liverpool also have makak which is great need but um a bit of a defensive crisis because Andy Robertson obviously sent off um he also looked like it was a knee injury before that we’ve spoken about that on hot CFE Simas Kate well Simas is injured that’s what I’m saying yeah so and and canate is injury has actually cost us two drawers in a row I’m going to say let’s try and put together some kind of uh some kind of lineup prediction for this game because the back line our strongest back line with the players that we’ve got left are Joe Gomez left back Virgil Quan and Trent which is mad I like out as well isn’t he I do like qua but he hasn’t filled me with a bag of confidence this season if I’m quite honest with you mate I feel like the the game last season before that United mistake that’s what I was just about to say that mistake I feel has really knocked him he’s not passing across the what he used to do right was pass the Vel a lot across the pitch right if you watch a lot of times he goes to take a risk he pass and he doesn’t anymore he just passes it back he passes it sideways because he’s his confidence being massively knocked and you can see it um and so that leavs me to think all right so could we play someone else in left pack and put Joe Gomez and Center back instead but who have you got to play left backl nobody grain Birch can Quanto play left backl don’t think so doubt it and again The Cameo against Fulham was was poor and you can’t play Trent right back you did because the connection that he’s got with Salah that’s one of the reasons why he’s so good mate so Trent needs a massive game on Wednesday but defensively Liverpool now without Connor Bradley canate who is probably two or three weeks away from coming back Simas as we know the ankle injury in training um he’s been spotted at boxing matches at the weekend so I doubt that he’s uh back anytime soon um he needs a little bit more time seems unlikely that Simas could make enough progress to be back in contention may maybe I don’t know maybe he’s back for in contention for Spurs and obviously now robo’s out as well so let’s try and put together a team Kell her in go yeah would you go Kell her in goal no I’ll just put Allison in me Allison in Allison in um in goal I mean we’re forced to pick this back four of Trent viril bringing on Salah soas Diaz yeah Ma Ma I think you bring them all on yeah and 60 yeah cool all right we’re agreed then score prediction and bear in mind there’s going to be a draw for the semi-final after this game if Liverpool win which Arsenal are still in um I think Chelsea they no I’m pretty sure they lost in the league cup I’m not even sure but who do you want in the semi if Liverpool win it’s Lo it and it’s a double leer as well by the way the League Cup it isn’t it this is the caravel cup so I’m going to go with I wouldn’t mind Arsenal you know so you know we’ve this is who’s left in the cup lad so we’ve got Tottenham man united Southampton Liverpool Newcastle brenford Arsenal and Palace and it’s a two Lego as well home and away so who would you want if you could ch choose cuz they’re all difficult teams I want the easiest team I want Liverpool I’ve got a tough who is the easiest team out of them brenford I wouldn’t say it’s brenford Palace or man united actually yeah what man having had a cup game against man united smoking that be nice and then obviously the final at Wembley in February so score predictions and we old them one actually for last year in the FA Cup true yeah 3-1 3-1 is good dibbers dibling dibling don’t he’s a good player in big him up you know what happens big pool big po tall po tall po so yeah listen 3-1 to Liverpool I’m a little bit nervous for this game but I think it’s only because it’s going to give me a good indicator about how nervous I should or shouldn’t be for Sunday you’re nervous because we just dropped Four Points in the last week mate yeah and our performance against was crap so let’s pick it up and play better because we’re a fantastic balanced football team yeah let’s notas let’s not disappoint us yeah so guys score disappointed if we don’t yeah extremely I’m not going to say we’re going to go on to do it because I don’t know that’s not how football works like just seen Chelsea just Rise From the Ashes so doesn’t work like that I also seen Chelsea top at at Christmas and Arsenal all this stuff doesn’t work like that but I expect it now I do I want this yes desperately want to win yes this league yes 100% And and some out something else as well if we did the anyway let’s not get to honestly I’m I’m I’m let’s not get too excited but there is your match preview Southampton versus Liverpool at St Mary Stadium
