Hello everyone and welcome to another End to End Hockey video in the offseason, in this video we are talking about some more news and rumours as we start off by looking at a signing that happened over the last few days as Keegan Kolesar who was a pending UFA, has signed a 3 year extension to remain as a bottom six forward with the Golden Knights, then we look at some injury updates from the past little while as Zuccarello in Minnesota, Fabbri in Anaheim, Miller in Vancouver and McCabe in Toronto all return to game action and get back from their injuries but bad news to see guys like Zegras, Drury, Hedman and Middleton all get injured and hopefully they wonβt be out for a long period of time, then we look at some waivers updates as Alex Nylander in Toronto and Pierre Engvall in NYI both cleared waivers, Pulli in San Jose and Nikkanen in Winnipeg both cleared unconditional waivers, and Dermott, Mermis and Wahlstrom were all claimed as Mermis was placed on waivers by Toronto and claimed by Utah, Dermott was placed on waivers by Edmonton and claimed by Minnesota and Wahlstrom was placed on waivers by NYI and claimed by Boston, and then we also talk about some trade rumours as first I look at Vancouver as I have seen a few recent reports including from prominent insiders saying that the Canucks are shopping Vincent Desharnais and that after not fitting in overly well he may be moved in the very near future, then we look at Seattle as Elliotte Friedman was talking about the Kraken and said that after having lower minutes then last year, playing lower in the lineup and with him being a pending UFA, Friedman said that teams have checked in on Will Borgen and he may be dealt at some point soon, next we look at the Anaheim Ducks as according to Nick Kypros he said that the Ducks value Troubaβs leadership and instead of trading him soon as a trade chip, he thinks that Trouba will stay in Anaheim and maybe even extend their so a trade may not happen and then we look at the Carolina Hurricanes as Pierre Lebrun was recently talking about the Canes goalie situation as after missing out on Blackwood he links 4 goalies who could be good first for Carolina including Gibson and Vladar and I would love to hear your thoughts on all that was discussed in todayβs video down in the comments section below.

hello everyone welcome back in today’s video we got another new and rumor video to discuss we got a couple of things to discuss including a signing some injury updates some waiver updates and some trade rumors involving the Hurricanes the Anaheim Ducks the Vancouver knucks and the Shia Kraken with all that coming up right [Music] now hello everyone welcome back to another video here at the intend hockey channel number before again this video don’t forget to like this video And subscribe down below thank all of your support we would never be able to do this without all of you guys so if you have already don’t forget to subscribe button down below leave a comment down in the comment section below so can all discuss video would love to hear you guys thoughts on all those discussed here today so in this video we got interesting one we’re going to start off with a couple of signings like we usually do there was one signing from over past couple days it was another Vegas gold nights extension it’s the fourth in season extension the golden knights have made this year they just want to get all their business done before the offseason hits this one is an interesting one with another bottom 6 forward as young bottom six forward Keegan Kosar who’s in the final year of a three-year deal with a EV of $1.4 million has signed a three-year extension with a a of $2.5 million so the exact same a is how just 2 years less so that’s a pretty good pickup there for the kns Kosar has worked out phenomenally ever since being acquired in their expansion year and a trade from Columbus he’s worked out fantastically for the kns his career high came a couple of years ago in the 2122 season put up 24 points so far this year he’s one shy of a career high in goals with seven goals and also has 11 points in 29 games he’s been a fantastic fourth or third line forward for the Vegas go kns 2 and A2 just like how might be a little bit too much given what he brings and how good of a player he is I would think maybe somewhere closer one and a half maybe a little bit under two would have been a little bit more better but Kar is a fantastic player he’s been really good botom six forward and to keep him for the next 3 years at $25 million is not overly bad especially with the cap going up so all in all pretty good Sig there for the kns they Kar just said they kept Howen earlier McNab Theodore like they’ve made a lot of signings this season already in season so pretty good move there for the nights as they keep one their bomb six forwards for the next 3 years at a reasonable capit so interesting note there but it was the only sign we saw from over the past couple of days next going over to a couple of injur updates when it comes to New York Islanders all three of Matthew barzel Anthony declar and pela started to skate pelic and duclair in regular jerseys barzel and the non- contct jersey and all of an upgrades now being day-to-day so all those guys missed I think at least over a month with their respective injuries and they’re now all dayto dat and could return in the very near future as early as this weekend so it’s a really good pickup there for the Islanders as they could be getting any one of barzel du Clair or pelic back in the very near future for the Carolina Hurricanes Jack Drury will undergo hand surgery and his own definitely that’s a horrible BL for the Hurricanes Drew’s been a solid third fourth line Center he’s one of the younger players on that Carolina Hurricanes team so losing for any significant period of time is bad there’s still no definite timetable so there’s a very lucky chance I might only only be a couple of weeks but there’s a very likely chance it could be a month or two so that’s a bable there for the Hurricanes JT Miller is activated off of non roster and got back into game action on Thursday after he missed 10 games due to personal reasons so really great news there for the knucks as he got Miller back and he was a big part of their win against Florida over on Thursday well dere forbert was activ off of injury reserve and also returned to game action on Thursday after he missed a month and a half with a knee injury so really great stuff there for the conu to see forbert and Miller get back in game action over on Thursday after they both had extended leaves so good news there Trevor Zas has had surgery to replace Ator meniscus he’s going to be at least the next week so that’s a horrible bow there for the Ducks as zerus is going to be out for a long period of time probably won’t be back until sometime late January early February rabby fabri though has been activated for the Ducks and return to game action on Thursday after missing just over a month with a knee injury so we know it was a 4 to six week timeline for fabri and he’s only going to be a for just over a month so that’s really great news there and Fab’s gone back in game action for the Ducks Rowan y see is Thursday’s game with a lower body injury and is out day day it’s a horrible blow there for the Predators to lose their top defenseman for at least game maybe a little more so we’ll have to wait and see on that Jake McCay was activated and return to game action on Thursday after he missed two weeks with a wrist injury so great news to see one of the top four defenseman in Toronto wind up coming back and getting back in game action well David Camp is not close to returning from his lower body injury and will still be out at least a couple of weeks and Anthony stellars left Thursday’s game with lower body injury for the lease and didn’t return and it’s currently day days so that’s a horrible blow there for the leas that stars may miss the next couple of games for Toronto Victor hman with Thursday’s game with a lower body injury and is out dayto Day so a horrible blow there for the bolts as they lose their captain and their top defenseman for the next couple of days Conor Ingram in Utah has started to practice but still isn’t fit to play at this point this week with his upper right injury so he’ll probably be out at least one more week which means he’ll probably be out until after the holiday break so interesting not there but Ingram’s still going to be out for the next little while well Robert ruso is out DayDay with a lower body injury and won’t play in at least Utah’s next two games so it’s a horrible blow there for bzo as he’s going to be out for the next little while matu carella and Y Spina started to SC eight but there’s still no timeable for their return although there is some speculation that could return as early as this weekend so that could be a really good Big Boost there for the Wild Well Jacob Milton was placed on long-term injury reserve after suffering a hand injury in the Wild’s most recent game so good to see that zukel and Brodin are nearing returns and could return in the very near future as those are big pieces but bad news to see Milton go down with an injury and he’s going to miss at least the next 10 games or 24 days so bad stuff there for the wild Alec Martinez was placed on injury reserve with a neck injury so we know that he suffered an injury last weekend and he’s been injured and missed the last couple of games so not too surprising he was placed in ir and hopefully he’ll get back in the not distant future danar is out day day with a lower body injury for the Flames so the Flames may have to go without Vadar over the next couple of games as he’s dealing with an injury Sam lafy practice in a regular Jersey and may return from his lower body injury on the weekend so that could be a really good boost there for the Sabers to get a bomb six for back and cam talut reagate his injury after his return on Thursday and he’s going to be out with a lower body injury and we’ll miss at least Saturday’s games so saabo there for the Red Wings as they’re going to have their starting level go Ender back out due to the same injury that kep no for a couple of weeks beforehand so some interesting injury updates there good to see guys like Carell fabri Miller and mccab all get back into game action they didn’t look too bad and the returns with bad news to see guys like jury ziger headman and Milton all go down with injuries and hopefully they’re not going to be a for an overly long period of time but those are some bad injury updates next going over to a couple of waver updates when we last talked we saw three players we placed on waivers over on Wednesday that was the mmus and Alex neander in Toronto and valter pulley in San Jose for the purposal contract termination well no surprise there we don’t usually see players who are on unconditional waivers for purpose of contract termination be claimed and we didn’t pul on up clearing so he’s now UFA he can go sign wherever he wants my guess would be he probably always signs back over in Europe Alex neander surprisingly did wind up clearings so good news there for the lease is they able to keep neander but the cotal murmus who have been spending the entire season on injury reserve due to a season opening injury was claimed that’s a little bit of a surprise I did not expect him to be claimed he was claimed by Utah so we know Utah has has some blue line injuries so far this year that can use a serviceable guy who can be a 67th defense on Merm has been a call up option over the past couple of years I think in Minnesota so I think that could be a really good pickup there for Utah so Utah claims mmus well the other two wind up clearing then we saw on Thursday Travis Dermot and Henry nickin be placed on waivers Dermot for the purpose of reassignment to the AHL nickan for the purpose of contract termination so another prospect that didn’t see a fit with his current organization so the Jets Nick in were going to part ways durma was placed on waivers for purpose of being demoted and not too surprising nickin who was on unconditional waivers did clear so nickin is now UFA once again probably will go over to Europe so we’re going to have to W see on that but nickin is no longer a member of the Jets organization well Minnesota claimed Dermot I’m a little bit surprised that durma was claimed I thought he would probably clear but he has been a solid third per defens over the past couple of years at the NHL level so if there was a team out there or two who could use some defensive help I thought they could have tried to claim Dermot and Minnesota does we know that broin still might be out for next couple of games and Milton just left with an injury so they could have used some more defensive help so instead of calling up one of their younger players they’re going to claim Dermot and hope that he can help in the short term so that could be a really good pickup there and then over on Friday we saw enval and walstrom be placed on wavers by the Islanders engal’s already been on waivers earlier this year he was placed on waivers after he didn’t make the team of training camp but due to injuries he got back into the lineup had been AA bomb six forward but now he’s back on waivers walstrom is also on waivers now walstrom has not been a very fantastic F over the past couple of years and even though was a top first round pick a couple of years back he wasn’t really fitting in overly well with the Islanders but he does have really good potential so I thought the could be a potentiality that a team or two could have claimed walstrom and when it comes to enval he’s got six years left to have $3 million cap hit I don’t think anyone’s too crazy enough to take that sort of a cap it on so I was wor about angel no one claimed him his capit way too high so he was clear waivers he sent back down to the AHL while when it comes to walstrom he was inde declaimed the Boston Bruins claimed him so we know the Bruins could used some more youth into that team and walstrom could be a solid third line forward there for the Bruins so that could be an interesting pick up there so those are all the waiver updates when past couple of days Pierre angal Alex neander both cleared waivers and were sent down to the AHL Affiliates Henry nickan and valter pey both cleared unconditional waivers and had their contracts terminated while mermis by Utah Dermot by Minnesota and wal by Boston were all claimed off of waivers so some interesting waiver updates there but three players were claimed off of waivers and four wind up clearing so have to wait and see on what happens next waiver updates but those are all the waiver updates from our past couple of days and lastly going over to a couple of trade rumors now when it comes to trade rumors we have four things to talk about here the first two are smaller things to talk about not overly significant but they are interesting so first we’ll start with the Vancouver knucks according to n Elliot Freeman but Rick Dolly wall who have both said basically the same things the connects our shopping o in acquisition Vincent de har now de har has not worked out overly well though we’re hoping he could sort of be this adorable replacement a bigger type forward mobile can put up some offensive points at times but he hasn’t really worked out overly well he’s been a healthy scratch a couple of times with forber recently returning bransom sort of surpassing him on the depth chart they don’t really need de har anymore and I think that they regret signing him to that 2-year deal with a of $2 million so they’re obviously shopping him I think there’s a couple of teams out there who could really use a 67 defenseman who could be a really good pickup there for a team I’m not exactly sure who would try and Target de har I know that a couple of people have linked emont and Toronto to the her given the fact that those two were interested in the off season so we’re going to have to wait and see what happens there but after a lot of healthy scratches this year not fitting overly well in Vancouver it sounds like day har is being shopped and a very likely tra can it for the Canucks so we’re going to have to wait and see on that when it comes to the Seattle Kraken another guy who’s been on the Block apparently is William borgan apparently his name’s coming up in trade rumors according to Elliot Freeman who’s doing a radio hit somewhere I can’t remember exactly where it is but he says that boran’s name is coming up borgan definitely had his ice time lessened after record Evans has surpassed him in the depth charts with Brandon marur now being there he really has a diminished role and he’s not getting as many minutes as he did last year so with that coupled with the fact that he’s appending UFA there are a couple of teams out there who may try and inquire to see if they can get borgan from Seattle now borgan was an original expansion pick from the Seattle Kraken so if they were to move on from him I think they want some sort of a decent return so we’re going to have to wait and see what happens there but it sounds like borgon might be a trade chip there for the Kraken like I said it’s just due to the fact that he has less minutes and it’s pending U but the Kraken are a team who is still in the hunt for a playoff spot so would they move borgan if they were hovering around the playoff Mark I’m not exactly sure also depend on the return they’ll be able to get but boran’s a biger type defenseman he can play on the third pair they can put up some offensive numbers but he’s more of a defensive minded defenseman I think is more sued to be a defensive role so we have to wait and see what happens there but borgan is a name that seems to be coming up a little bit recently and according to La Freeman he could be a trade chip with him being UFA and having diminished minut so we’re going to have to wait and see on that when it comes to the an behind Ducks I know recently in a video a couple of days ago I talked about how the Ducks could wind up flipping Jacob chuba after acquiring him from the New York Rangers and there’s a very likey chance that he could be flipped back to the east well maybe not so fast according to Nick kiio of sportset he thinks that the Ducks see the 30-year-old as a leader of the team heading into the future might be explaining why they moved on from C Fowler earlier today and he says that there’s a very like a chance that tran only stays here in Anaheim beyond the trade deadline but also that he winds up maybe signing a extension it’s a possibility it’s not a guarantee by any means but it’s a possibility they already exploring the option according to kyos of extending him when the time comes next year and so long as it’s a little bit of a better contract than it is right now for trouba I think they’d be open to it trouba is a decent leader and for a younger blue line that has guys like mikov zel wigger helison and a couple of other younger players they could definitely use a veteran leader they just Tri away Fowler so the biggest veteran leader on that team would be trouba and he knows how to win he’s been with the Rangers for a couple of years now he helped them get to Eastern Conference Final two out the last 3 years so he knows what it takes to be on a solid playoff team and I think that could be a really good boost there for some of the younger guys so hold your hostes on the potential of trba being flipped at the deadline it seems like ducks May value his leadership over him being flipped as a potential asset and it seems that they’d be open to extending him to keep him along with some of the younger players so we’re going to have to wait and see on that no guarantees of course that trouba winds up up staying there’s a very lucky chance he may want to test the free agent Market in 2 years time and he winds up leaving as a free agent or the Ducks do wind up trading him so we’re going to have to wait see on that but according to Nick cyos he says that the Ducks do value the leadership that trouba can bring and that there’s a very likely chance that trouba might stay and extend at some point in Anaheim while they’re than getting moved so we’re going to have to win see on that and lastly going over with to Carolina Hurricanes P recently did an article talking about four potential teners the Hurricanes could pursue now we talked about this in our last video the Hurricanes missed out one the opportunity to acquire McKenzie Blackwood he was a fantastic go tender but the Avalanche beat the Hurricanes to it the Hurricanes couldn’t pull off a deal in time to get Blackwood before the Colorado Avalanche did so there’s a couple of other options there for the Hurricanes P LeBron who was on TSN ins trading recently talked about this and he says there are four options the Hurricanes could go after that he sees that’s danar in Calgary that’s Anton forsberg in Ottawa that’s Carill Vela and Utah and that’s John Gibson and Anaheim now when it comes to three of the four of them they’re all in the final year of their deals and they’re all on teams who contending for playoff spots V Mel has been a fantastic 1B to Ingram now he’s currently the starter with Ingram injured but V’s been fantastic and Utah is in the dead heat of a playoff run same thing with Calgary Dan Vadar Vadar has been a fantastic goer start the year but once again the Flames are currently just out of a playoff spot so they’re not going to trade Vadar anytime soon at least when it comes to otwa Anton forsberg he’s been a okay backup not the best of backups but he’s a solid backup and once again sends are after a surge in late November early December back in the playoff race it says when it comes to Gibson he’s the only one that’s a little bit different he’s got ter on his contract he’s got bigger cap hits and he’s on a team where the Ducks are not going to be a team tending for playoff spots this year so there’s a realate chance that Gibson might be the most likely of those options if they can find some way to make it work cap wise he says that they at least need some sort of a stop Gap option to help stabilize the Nets with kosov until Anderson gets back like I said it might make more sense for them to just try and go after St level go tender like a Gibson move on from Anderson given his injury history and just try and get a new goenda ingrade in there so we’re going to have to wait and see what happens there I think it makes a lot of sense for Carolina to go after Gibson just given how well of a goenda when it comes to short stock out of options I could see V Mica Vadar or fors would be something of interest to the Carolina Hurricanes I think Vadar would be a fantastic 1A golender for them I think V would be fantastic but with the way Utah is playing right now I don’t see him moving him I could see lar be moved to eventually same thing with AWA I don’t see moving fors at this point in time maybe get closer to the deadline it’s quite possible but I just I don’t see forsberg or ve Meo getting moved I could see lar get moved but it’s going to be later on into the season I think if they were to go after any one of these four goenda go after Gibson maybe making the new starter so we’re going have to wait and see on that but that’s all I want to talk for today I love you guys thoughts on all this down in the comments section below what do you think do the Hurricanes make a goal te move and if so could Gibson via forsberg or vladar be some of the ones that they target do you think that the Anaheim Ducks keep chba and maybe extend him next off season instead of flipping him with the deadline this year do you think that the Kraken will wind up moving for full borgan and if so what sort of return could they get for him you see the connection on it moving V harate and if so what sort of return you think they could get for him definitely let your thoughts on that plus the waiver updates injury updates and the coar signing
