📝 Video Description:

Hello everyone and welcome to another End to End Hockey video in the offseason, in this video we are talking about some more news and rumours as we start off by looking at some injury updates from the past little while as Fowler in Anaheim, Kuemper in Los Angeles, Laine in Montreal and Pageau in NYI all return to game action and get back from their injuries but bad news to see guys like Buchnevich, Eriksson Ek, Seguin and Carlsson all get injured and hopefully they won’t be out for a long period of time, then we look at another coaching change as we have the 3rd head coach fired this season as after starting off with the worst record in the West, the Blackhawks saw fit to fire head coach Luke Richardson after a abysmal 2 and a quarter years and hire first ever Swedish head coach Anders Sorensen to be the Hawks interim head coach until the offseason at least so a interesting move there, and then we also talk about some trade rumours as first I look at NYR as Peter Baugh of the Athletic recently wrote a article talking about where some players in NYR stand and he links only Lafreniere and Fox as untouchables while he says that Miller and Kakko who are both pending RFA’s may be on the trade block and could be moved so we will have to see if the Rangers move to young players, then we look at Florida as Pierre LeBrun said after the offseason departures of OEL and Montour, he expects the Panthers to go and look for a D upgrade at this years deadline as they don’t have as strong of a top 4 as they did last year and although they don’t have much cap space, a D target does make sense, then we look at the Bruins as Craig Button recently mentioned that a name the Bruins should and may try and target by the deadline would be Granlund as the versatile Center could work really well as a 2C in Boston and lastly we look at Dallas as Cam Robinson of EP threw out a trade rumours saying the Stars should target Malkin from Pittsburgh, and although I think it make sense, especially with the Seguin injury, I am not sure Malkin will get dealt at this time and I would love to hear your thoughts on all that was discussed in today’s video down in the comments section below.

hello every welcome back and today’s got another news rumor video to discuss looking at some science for past couple days some injury updates some waiver updates the Blackhawks the fire their head coach we get to that plus a couple of trade rumor involving the Penguins the Bruins the New York Rangers and the Florida Panthers we go to all that coming up right [Music] now hello everyone welcome back to another video here at the anent hockey channel now before we get video Don’t for the latest video And subscribe below thank for all your support would never be able to without you guys so if you haven’t already don’t for to subscribe button down below don’t leave a comment down the comment section below discussing all today’s video I’d love to hear guys thoughts on all this so in today’s video I would usually start off by talking about some signings but over the past couple days we haven’t had any signings over past couple of days so we’re going to start today’s video off looking at some injury updates tons of injury updates from our past couple of days we start in Minnesota where they had a list of injuries that have happened from our past couple days Yas broin who’s dealing with an injury is at week to week such a horrible blow bro’s been in and out over the past couple of weeks with injuries now is going to miss at least the next couple of weeks so babo there for the wild Ericson e is out with a lower body injury he’s out week to week so that’s a horrible blow there to lose their second line Center Jacob loo who’s been AA bomb SE Fords out day day with an injury so he shouldn’t be able for an overly long period of time but that’s still a bad blow for the Wild and mat Carell who is still on injury reserve is still going to be out week to week so bow there’s your girls already miss a couple of weeks so he’ll probably still miss a few weeks probably won be back until after the Christmas break but bad you see broin and Eric sck they’re top for the fenceman and second line Center as well as Lo who’s a decent bottom six4 all go with injuries so hopefully they’ll be able to come back and not this in future then we saw Patrick l be activate off a long-term injury reserve and returned to make his season debut on Tuesday so it’s very good news there for the Habs and for L to get him back in the lineup Nikolai elers was placed an injury reserve with a low body injury already missed a couple of games so he won’t be missing too much more time that’s a baabo there from the Jets New Jersey Eric holl is out day day with an undisclosed injury and he might miss the next couple games the game action so babo there for the Devils as holl might be a for the next little while Camp taet didn’t travel with the Red Wings and will miss at least the next two games with an injury so he already missed one of them on their current road trip he’ll miss the next one too so it’s a bad blow there for the Red Wings to lose tal for the next little while tonos Max doy Max pater ready they not return to get action on Wednesday but they may be able to return over the next game or two for the M police as both are near going to return from their respective injuries so hopefully they’ll be able to get back do is a solid startline Center Petri is solid M six forward so hopefully they return not just in future and they get some more boosts there for Toronto well Jake McCay missed Wednesday’s game with the upper body injury in his day day so hopefully M won’t miss too much time that’s a bad blad there for the Leafs pav buich missed Tuesday’s game with a l body injuries miss the last few games it’s a baad Lo there for the blues to still have buich out with a lower body injury so hopefully he’ll be able to return in the not tost in future but that’s a bad blow there for St Louis nashal Michael McCarron is DayDay with upper body injuries that’s a bad blow there for the Predators McCarron’s been a solid bomb six for for so the seem still be out now was really bad there for the Predators Philip ponic underwent a lore body procedure and it’s going to be out the next at least 2 months that’s a horrible for the K not going to have ronic until at the very least early February maybe a little bit later than that so it’s a horrible blow there for the knucks to their Decor as horon has been a really good top four defenseman there so it’s a horrible blow there for the knucks mark lastic should return at some point in the shark’s current six game Road Trip so plastic missed quite a bit of time so far this year with body injuries so good to see him potentially be back in not just in future that could be a really big boost there for the Sharks Zack H misses fifth straight game on Tuesday with a upper body injury so hopefully he’ll be able to return out to some Futures quite possibly could return as early as Thursday so interesting note there rer Evans also miss Tuesday’s game I see Miss it with an undisclosed injury babo there from the Kraken as Evans who’s actually been a really good top six defenseman this year it’s going to be out for the next little while so it’s a horrible blow there for the Kraken Vegas is Zack whitecloud also missed his fifth straight game on Tuesday as he was with upper body injury however it sounds like he’s practicing a lot more and he could be a near return and not just in future so really good stuff there for Vegas John Gabrielle Pou returned to game action on Tuesday after missing two games with a lower body injury for the New York Islanders so great news there is the Islanders get Pou back after he was gone for a little while Brett barard was practicing with no contact Jersey and is currently day day with upper body injuries bad below there for the Rangers as they lose one of their top prospects to injury Tyler San underwent hip surgery is out 4 to 6 months so that’s a horrible there for the Stars so he’s probably going to be out until early April at the earliest very likely he probably is going to be out until the playoffs so very bad stuff there for seon as he’s going to be out for basically the rest of the regular season so horrible blow there for the Stars Justin Kirkland underw ACL surgery and is out for the rest of the year for the Flames so the Flames already lost Mana for the rest of the year due to surgery and now they’re losing Justin Kirkland so babo there not as big as mantha but still Kirkland’s actually been a really good player there for the Flames so really bad to see him go down with an injury Los Angeles was able to activate Dy keer off of injury reserve and he returned to game action after missing seven games with injury on Wednesday so really good stuff there see keer back and back in the net for the Kings Rick’s actually done quite well in Ker’s absence but good to see keer get back for the Kings well Trevor Lewis was placed on injury reserve and miss about 4 to6 weeks with a lower body injury so Lewis will probably not be back until the new year at some point with his injuries so bab there for the Kings is a little solid depth player but they do get camper back when it comes to the Anaheim Ducks OV vanan was placed in injury reserve with an injury hopefully he won’t miss too much time but that’s a babble there for the Ducks Le Carlson Miss Wednesday’s game action with body injury so bab there for the Ducks as Carlson who’s been a fantastic top six forward is currently with an injury right now and Cam Fowler was AC off for injury reserve and got back in the game action on Wednesday after missing I think it was about week or two with an injury so good to see Fowler get back it’s a really big boost to the duck Decor to get him back so interesting injury updates there good to see guys like foul keer lion and P all get back in a action and they didn’t look too bad when they got back in but bad need to see guys like Sega and Carlson Eric neck and bich all out and hopefully they’re able to recover and not be out for an overly long period of time so some interesting injur updates there now next I would usually go over to a quick waiver update but we’ve had no waiver updates on our past couple of days so going over to a coaching change we’ve already had two coaching changes earlier in the year the Boston Bruins fired Montgomery brought in sacko was the interim head coach the blues then saw opportunity to hire Montgomery so they fired Drew Bannister and hire Montgomery sao’s the interim head coach Montgomery got a 5-year extension so after a really bad start for the Chicago Blackhawks they saw fit to fire head coach Luke Richardson it was an interesting move there from the Hawks Richardson didn’t do overly well in his first two seasons but the Hawks were a rebuilding team at that point when Richardson got the team uh it was the very beginning of that rebuild and then right after that they started to go full tear down de Brink was moved doc was moved some of the other younger guys were moved they brought in some veterans like that team was built for being a rebuild they didn’t have an overly great record over the past couple of years I think Rich’s record was something like 57 115 and 15 or something like that I’m not exactly sure the exact record but he had a really bad losing record now given the fact the Hawks are a rebuilding team I’m a little bit surprised that they fire Richardson I know that the situation for Richardson wasn’t overly great so the fire him is not overly surprising but still at the same time it’s a little bit surprising given where the Hawks are and what he was brought into to do so interesting note there the replacement for Luke Richardson is AHL head coach Andrew senson senson who was the Rockford isog head coach has been promoted to interim head coach the situation it seems like for the time being will be that s will be the interim head coach until the end of the year and at the end of the year they’ll conduct an proper coaching investigation in which Thon will have an opportunity to be the new H coach so sort of like Boston they’ll have an interim head coach rest of the year and then they’ll figure out the new H coach in the offseason senson is a former hockey player he played a couple of years in the ECHL I think that’s as high as he ever got at the pro level he does have head coaching experience mostly in the AHL he was head coach over the past couple of years for the Rockford Ice Hawks he was also assistant head coach for that team for a couple of years time he worked as the Blackhawks as a development coach for a couple of years so he has had previous coaching experience but no head coaching experience at the NHL level so it’ll be interesting to see how the Hawks do with thoron as new head coach but the Hawks have made a coaching change Richardson after two and a quarter of bad years is out in Chicago and Andre senson is the new head coach in the Chicago Blackhawks organization so after to see how the first Swedish head coach at the NHL level does in the NHL so we’ll have to wait and see on that and lastly going over to a couple of trade rumors now when it comes to trade rumors we got a couple of things to talk about here today so we’re going to start off with New York Rangers now Peter B the athletic was recently talking about the Rangers we know we’ve talked about a lot about the Rangers over the past a while but they have not been doing overly well theyve lost a whole bunch of games over the past little while there’s a very lucky chance moves are coming for New York so Peter ball of the athletic was breaking all down figuring out what sort of players could be moved he started breaking it down into tiers as potential options like one tier would be players who aren’t going anywhere one tier would be potential options as trades he mentioned a couple of Veterans as trades but the one interesting ones he mentioned he thinks that only two players are sort of Untouchables right now in New York and that’s defenseman Adam Fox and Fort Alexi lrer he says that after lrer extension the Rangers really see a fit with him long term and he doesn’t think that lafer would get moved and fox being the norest caliber Defender that he is he also doesn’t think that fox would be potentially moved there for the Rangers too so he thinks that those two are very likely to not get moved by the New York Rangers but two interesting names he linked under a tier named young potential trade chips were kandre Miller and Capo kako now those two are not overly old players but they’re mentioned by ball as potentially being trade chips there for the Rangers in the case of Keandre Miller he says that the former first round pick has had a slow start to year he’s an RFA so it would be a really difficult move to try and sign to an extension right now so he says that’s sort of on hold of the way the Rangers have been playing and he thinks that Miller could net them a really good return I would agree Miller them a really good return but do they really want to move off from a top four left shot defenseman who is working extremely well I know he’s had slow start the year but the last couple of Seasons Miller has been fantastic for the Rangers so would they really want to move on from him comes to kaco his name has been in the rumor for quite some time he’s also a pending RFA he’s been a really good player there for the Rangers hasn’t had the best of Seasons again this year so there’s a possibility I think that the Rangers could try and move off of kako especially if he was able to get him some sort of an improvement kako is a former second overall pick like we said he’s on a one-year $2.4 million deal and at the end of the year he’ll be an RFA so just like Miller it’ll be a really hard deal to pull off especially if kako puts up some better numbers than he did last year which it seems like he should do so we’ll have to wait and see what happens there but ball mentions Miller and Calo potential trade chips there for the Rangers on the younger side of things he also mentioned a couple of other veteran type Rangers with potential traes too but the Miller and kakin in my opinion were interesting and the fact that they only list fox in La FR year as Untouchables is also interesting in my opinion so I have to wait and see what moves the Rangers could do over the next while but Peter ball thinks that Miller and Cho could be very young trade chips there for the Rangers we’re going to have to wait and see on that going over to the Florida Panthers P BRS recently talking about the Panthers and looking at what the Panthers could try and Target later on into the season around the trade deadline when they’re looking to try and get some upgrades and he mentions that the thing that the Panthers should be focusing on and try to acquire in a trade would be defenseman now he says that the defense in Florida is not the same as last year shy got Schmidt shy got bfist in the off season and those guys haven’t looked overly bad this year but they lost Brandon Montour and they lost all of re Lon in the off season and the defense is not the same Sher was still a pretty good defense and still really good but it’s not the best that it could be and it’s definitely not as good as it was last year so LeBron thinks there’s a very lucky chance the Panthers will try and be in the defenseman Market come to trade deadline and try and add some defenseman he says that they don’t have a whole bunch of c space so they have to get creative in order to add some defenseman but adding a top for defenseman might be something that’s high on the floor Panthers priority lists like we said losing Montour losing all re LaRon two top four defenseman was a really bad blow for the Panthers in the off season and while Bist and Schmid are decent players they’re not the top four defenseman that Montour and all of Rec LaRon are so if the Panthers are still training towards being a playoff team and in a playoff spot com to tr deadline time and expect them to try and Target a top four defenseman or at least a top six defenseman who’s maybe on the cheaper side of things there a potential trade candidate for the Panthers so we’ll have to wait and see on that but expect the Panthers to be in the market for a defenseman and lastly going over to a couple of uh players who have been linked to some teams now first when it comes to Mel grin we know that he’s a very likely trade CH for the sharks even though sharks can’t retain any sort of salary still a very lucky chance that the Sharks move Grantland at some point during the season is’s in the final year of a $5 million deal he’s one of the shark’s better players he’s having some pretty good numbers this year had 60 points in 69 games last year was by far the team’s Point scoring leader so he’s actually had a pretty good career so far in his year and a half with San Jose but TSN reporter Craig Button links him to the Boston Bruins you know the Bruins still haven’t had an overly great time filling in the center spots that was left by Patrice bers David Cree we know ly Holm acquisition in the off season was a step in the right direction towards getting some more Center depth but adding another Center this year deadline especially if they’re in a playoff spot could be a really big boost there for the Bruins and button mentions Grantland has a potential trade triip there for the Bruins said that grin’s a fantastic Center and he’s capable of helping fill that sort of void that’s in the Boston Bruins top six at the center position grounds also can play wings so he doesn’t have to play center he’s also a Winger can play Wing at times as well sort of fits that sort of Boston Style hockey I think it could be a really good second line Center for that Boston Bruins team if the Bruins would be trying to add at the TR deadline so I think that could be a really good pickup there for the Boston Bruins now in what terms of what the Sharks might want I probably think they would want at least a second round pick and a good Prospect so you’re probably looking at like a second round pick in this year next year’s draft as well as maybe a young player like a I don’t know one of the young Prospect defenseman or like a countar up front like I could see the Bruns maybe partying with sta to trying to get a guy like Mikel granin so we’re going to have to wait and see like I said the Sharks can’t retain any salary and he’s got $5 million capit so it would be a difficult trade to move but with the way that grin’s been playing over the past couple years I think there’ll be a ton of interest in Grantland and Buon says that the Bruns might be a landing spot for him so we’re going have see on that and lastly cam Robinson of elite prospects was talking about a potential trade rumor that he’s at least heard at least a little bit or is at least speculating about not sure if there’s been actual any rumors about this but he says that what if the Penguins could deal gen Malin to the Dallas Stars now Malin I think has this year plus next year left I think he’s at like A6 OR7 million capit he mainly been mentioned as one of the very unlikely trade chips for the Penguins along with guys like Crosby and some of the younger players but it might make some sense for the Dallas Stars I we just got wor like we just talked about on the injury report Tyler s is most likely going to be out to the playoffs so they’re without a second line center for the foreseeable future and after this year Jimmy Ben’s contract’s up so if they didn’t want to bring Jimmy Ben back they could have a need for like a second third line Center so would adding malan really make an improvement for the Dallas Stars and I would say yes Mal be a solid third second line Center there for the Dallas Stars he could be a really good fit there now at this point in time I do not think that the Penguins want to part with with Malin I think they’d rather keep him and add some pieces to try and help build around him and Crosby so personally I don’t think Mal will get moved at this point in time and I think that that rumor is sort of probably not going to happen but it’s interesting to not I think Dallas could really benefit from adding Malin and the Stars has so many young prospects I think that’s whatever trade could of help the pits Penguins restock the covers at least a little bit so it would be interesting concept there I think they could have a spot for Malin especially as the second line Center until s got back around the playoff time and then especially if they moved off from Ben in the off season I think they could have some major interest in adding like malan so we have to wait and see on that we know the stars are probably going to be looking for a center with seon out and malan would be an interesting fit for the Dallas Stars but once again not exactly sure if there’s any actual trade rumors here if this is just cam Robinson speculating but it is an interesting concept here to see Mal potentially go to Dallas so we’re going have to wait and see on that but that’s all I want to talk about for today I’d love to he guys thoughts on all this down comment section below do you see Malin going to Dallas is a possibility right now for the Penguins and if so what sort of return do you think they could get from Dallas do you think GRL could go to Boston and if so how did the Bruins make that sort of the deal work cap wise and what do you think the sh should get in return uh do you think that the Rangers will make a move and if so could Miller or kle be a potential trade option there for the Rangers and will the Panthers go after the fence before deadline definitely let you guys thoughts on all that plus the injury updates and the Blackhawks coaching change down the com section below for today this video if you like subscribe below than support of you
