[Music] hey what’s up guys welcome back to the channel so today we will be discussing a trade rumor that was broughten up on the hockey riters between the Buffalo Sabers and the Philadelphia Flyers now when it comes to the Buffalo Sabers we know that they are all around trade rumors in general uh the Philadelphia Flyers I would I wouldn’t say necessarily as much although they’re still in and around uh uh trade rumors especially but like the Buffalo Sabers are having I mean one of the worst season I mean they’re they’re not even having the slump they’re they’re 12 losses in a row I mean this is just it’s just downright embarrassing right and a lot of their trade rumors have been centering around their Center no pun intended of Dylan cousins now I don’t really know what to like again I’ve said this and I’ll say this again that analyzing players that are on bad teams is always like really really really really difficult right now we have heard that the Philadelphia Flyers are looking to cure their offensive woes now they have about three goals per game average um but you could make the argument that Dylan cousins would make a lot of sense for them because he is a center and as I always say every single team is looking for a center and here’s the thing to the Flyers fans that are actually listening to this you know you can probably get him a lot cheaper than you think and this is why I actually am not sure that trading Dylan cousins is as good of an option for the Sabers but like again when teams are desperate like this you can absolutely make a trade with them and you can really press them you know and essentially you’re you’re almost squeezing them at the at their weak position which is beneficial for the Flyers again I don’t know if this is beneficial for the Buffalo Sabers but it’s beneficial for the flyers for sure like you could absolutely see the possibility of getting a Dylan cousins in a top six center roll you know maybe around better players you know you you know he potentially could be more than you think you know the Flyers right now are are about a middling 500 team like I don’t think that they’re that good they’re I mean they’re not they’re not as bad as the Buffalo Sabers who have just lost lost lost again they’ve missed the playoffs for 13 consecutive uh uh Seasons but they are absolutely they they need to be a team that needs to look for offense and and improving their roster too like these teams that are forever bad I I never understand why they don’t just you know try to make a hockey trade try to shake things up it makes way more sense in my opinion you know let’s let’s remember here that Dylan cousins is a young player judging a young player at 23 years of age playing on the Buffalo Sabers is downright horrendous you you don’t know look at ryanh her look at these guys jack eel look at these guys that go to other franchises and they just automatically have success right like you really you really don’t think that Dylan cousins can go to the Flyers you know maybe around tippet and these guys and maybe have a little bit more success I absolutely think so and when it comes to the Philadelphia Flyers we’ve had uh Morgan Frost who has had an absolute ton of trade rumors um around him as well right they’ve had Scott lton who is an option for the Sabres as well and would also help out their penalty kill right and another option was a a Dale and Scott lton like a combination of one one of those two you might be able to get it done with the Buffalo Sabers now I don’t know how Flyers fans would feel about something like that like I don’t I don’t know if they want to even give up that I mean a lot of a lot of you know in this is me included fans kind of overrate their prospects you don’t really know exactly how good they are until you know they get a lot of minutes and what competition they can play against at the NHL level you know let’s not forget Dylan cousins was like a seventh overall pick and I believe Dale was like a sixth overall pick I think I I’ll I’ll try to put the information up on the screen for you guys but you know the these are two highly touted guys you know why not make a trade you know why not make a trade like I again I think Dylan cousins is going to be a pretty good player I’m not necessarily sure if he’s going to be an absolute you know Superstar necessarily but I think he’s actually a lot better than you think I I I think that the biggest thing that holds back um NHL teams is their inability to find studs if you look at almost every team that is consistently um in the playoffs they all have good quality studs on the roster you know the McDavid the kale makers the Matthews Marner These Guys tridal these guys are the studs that you need and I don’t think that either team has a stud like that right that is the biggest thing that you need yes defense matters yes goal tending matters I I I accept all of those things but you need super super superstars of the upper echelon in the National Hawk League to be able to compete in my in my opinion I mean look around look around the NHL so why not make a trade make an impact trade shake up your roster I me think about you suck anyway who cares now the one hitch in this is that the Flyers only have $2.95 million of caspace or around that according to puckpedia so their general manager Brier would have to get pretty creative to try to figure out exactly uh exactly what to do here now that again I I hate when people use the cap as an excuse in the National Hockey League you got a lot of teams that are willing to make trades right now like it’s it’s obviously true look at the rangers they don’t get they don’t care at all they’re scratching crder right now and you can say oh that’s nothing but I mean they’re scratching a guy that uh uh you know it looks like they’re going to trade him to me like I they they they don’t care at all they’re out they’re out and they are willing to make trades my friends so just because your franchise is in cap issues doesn’t mean anything get creative get creative add another team to the trade they can keep salary you know what I mean you have tons of teams that do have some remnant of cap space figure it out I honestly think that this is going to be one of the most exciting trade deadlines that we’ve had in a long time like I
