uh you know again I want to be able to talk to through it with everybody um so not ready to talk about that quite yet just in general influence on the team love them uh one of my favorite guys I’ve ever been in part uh been able to coach uh we’ll see what we’ll see where it is again I’m not ready to talk about it yet um and holding out hope and we’ll see coach Squan man went crazy tonight just what did you guys see coming in to know that you’ll be able to attack this Rams uh run def good that’s a really good defensive line um and a good defense uh I got a lot of respect for Chris Jula um was had a had the opportunity to interview him for a job a couple years ago got so so so much and worked with him so a ton of respect for that him I’ve worked with Greg Williams cig coach before uh GIF Smith all those guys so I know they got good players and they got good um really good coaches um you know saquon’s a special player offensive line played special against a very good that’s a good defensive line it’s a a very good defensive line um and we came into this game knowing that we had our hands full with them so hats off to our players uh and that and that’s a good scheme I think Chris did a good job of mixing things up making it hard for us to know it’s to get a beat on things and we were able to hit a couple home runs uh saquan has that ability to hit home runs and so sometimes that’s how it goes you get some short gain short gain short games boom home run and saquon’s that type of player and our offens line did a good job at hand one the the variations of the front today at one point he came off the field limping do you have who’s that saquan at one point he came off he said he was fine but do you ever have concerns that there’s a point where you got to slow it down a little bit with his numbers um you know again I I’ve talked to you guys about this um you control um things on Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday um this sport is like any other this profession NFL is like unlike any other um professional sport like we got to do whatever we got to do to win each and every game um that’s always going to be that way um so if it takes saquon carrying the ball a bunch of times then he’s going to have to carry it a bunch of times um and then you have get get a chance to we’ve gotten a chance the last couple weeks um past month or so uh through November to get him out in the fourth quarter so you try to handle things that way um we’re always conscious of it I think saquin does a really good job of being able to take himself out at times and when he’s feeling it you that’s why you know you know he he he runs so fast and and so hard and that I think he has a good feel for when he needs to come out and and and he comes out Kenny gainwell has been going in Kenny’s done a really nice job uh I got so much uh confidence in Kenny when he goes in and so it’s managed a little bit through that um again we’ll we’ll we’ll make sure we’re very careful with them uh Monday through Saturday and we’ll do whatever we need to do to win the games you mention home run runs the five longest runs of BU your coaching Tech here are from sequ one what does he do for those types of well youo he uh on the first play of the second half he makes a cut that I didn’t think anybody else could make like he just stopped on a dime we blocked it really well Jordan Mada did an awesome job on the backside Landon did a awesome job on the backside uh cuz we ran a um an outside Zone and we were able to cut the backside off um and so first and foremost to get into the open field it was it started up front it started on the front side then obviously what that we did on the backside um and then he made this cut that man he cut he put his left foot in the ground and went round the edge and then he just hit the hit the gas um and it looked like we I don’t I didn’t I couldn’t tell but it looked like we had some guys hustling downfield to get to to get the uh blocks but man when you have the type of quickness lateral uh movement that that saquin has with the ability to accelerate and the and the speed to finish and the power to break through a arm tackle I mean he’s got everything you look for in the back he’s been he’s been awesome and he was awesome tonight on the def side you guys coming tonight nth in the league and third down efficiency they went 0 for eight tonight and the number one pass defense that you guys scort out there tonight he speak of just being able to line up and shut down some of the more prolific offenses receivers and quarterbacks in the yeah that’s a really good offense so much respect for coach mcve and and and how much uh success he’s had um and you always got to be prepared to I just I can’t tell you how much you know we watch him all the time in the off season what’s he doing that’s Cutting Edge and it’s always something that we that we pick up and we put on our put in our repertoire so first and foremost sea does a great job with those guys and then Matt Stafford is lights out man he’s tough he he’s accurate he you know he knows where to go with the football um and then the two receivers are are big- time players and I’ve and I’ve always thought Robinson was a really good player as well um and so you know got a lot of got a lot of weapons over there we were and we had to be on it today um and I think it started with us up front um being able to get some pressure on the on the quarterback that’s always where it’s going to start up front you know you where everyone’s going to look at today and see saquon’s 255 yards but that offensive line is where it started right and it’s the same thing on the defense it starts on that defensive line um and we got a good effort from everybody that it contributed we were a you know credit to Howie and his staff that we have good depth that we’re able to to rotate through and keep them fresh um you know our D dline coaches you know Vic’s doing a good job of calling the different games and different stunts that we’re doing and and blitzes and then our our dline coaches uh Jeremiah wurn and Clint hurt you know have done a really nice job coaching these guys and but all the credit goes to those guys that are out there making plays and and you make it hard on the on the quarterback in the pass game when you’re able to generate the pressure that we got today per yeah I’ll look at the tape uh I thought he did a good job um he was efficient made plays with his legs made plays with his you know with his arm and so I just think you know took care of the football and so I thought he was super efficient um you know our Run game was was really cooking but uh when we needed to pass it he had some big time completions to AJ particularly on third down you know big one at the end of the third quarter um Jaylen is a winner uh I I can’t stress that enough I know I say that every time up here but look how look how many games we’ve won uh in these past four years we’ve we’ve won a crap ton of games um you know and jaylen’s touching the ball every single play on offense to help us do that and so um Jaylen I thought you know again we’ll watch the tape on the way home we got a long flight to to be able to watch the tape on the way home but I thought you know super efficient uh protected the football we’re still able to get explosive plays because he was pushing the ball down the field when needed when when he needed um you know and then when he when there was pressure he’s hard to get down when there’s pressure um couple of our quarterback sneaks went for you know one of them went for a big game just shows you how strong and physical he is um but can’t say enough good things about how he’s leading our team how he’s leading our offense um so again I I’ll I’ll I won’t give you a plus minus okay yet but I think you probably played a plus and and uh I’ll watch the tape but I thought he did a lot of good things situ things uh looking there was a sequence where you declined a penalty they went out on the field and you accepted him to push it back is that what happened there that’s what it look like from yeah uh we got him to Third and third 13 uh in that particular case and at the the end of the first half that sequence of play calls what was it yeah we we didn’t do a good enough job at the end of the the first half players coaches everybody um and so anytime anytime it doesn’t look the right way in those scenarios that’s going to be on me I got to coach it better I got to teach it better um so uh we just we just didn’t execute that at well at the end the half and then the fourth down at the end where you guys gone to jump off Sid were you going to run that or were you they did a good job guys did a good job uh we we are able to use our Cadence in those particular cases um I got a lot of faith in fourth and one um I think that’s probably in those scenarios that defense has to respect that we can go for it in fourth and one if you look back to our our Miami game last year we went for it on fourth and one in a four minute in our inside our 20 so I guess you can you can connect the dots there you know in that particular case but J you know I thought that was a a credit to to Jaylen and how he’s using his Cadence there I think that’s something that you know we’ll we’ll get credited for a first down but you know quarterback’s got to be good with his Cadence uh you know obviously we’re on a hard count that’s why they jumped and then we’ll see if we would have went for it but you know Jaylen did a good job uh you know with his voice and um you know getting them to jump off sides in that particular case these guys been rolling coming into this sc5 for you for you guys to win by three scores the kind of performance you had tonight what does that tell you about where you guys are where you can head yeah that everyone’s going to be telling us how good we are everyone’s going to be telling us you know this is you’re you’re you’re one of the better teams we don’t listen to that all we got to do is put our heads down uh and work um just like when people tell you you aren’t good enough uh and you got to block it out um and put your head down at work it’s the same situation here because I think what’s going to happen obviously and we this is what I told our team after is you know everyone’s going to be calling you the the media is going to be telling you how good you are the fans going to be telling you how good you are that that all doesn’t matter you know uh all that matters is that we go back to work uh get ready for a really good opponent um all that is is rat poison which we’ll say you know all that is is rat poison so please don’t tell them how good they are um they played really good today um but we got a lot of work to do we made some mistakes you know uh coaching mistakes playing mistakes that we got to that we got to correct um if we want to do things you know we’re not into into trying to do something special and uh to do that it’s going to take the word to end out all right go ahead go ahead hey coach just uh Thursday Thanksgiving is coming up what are you most thankful for this year oh man um man God has blessed me in so many ways so first of all thankful for the Lord uh and and everything that he’s blessed me with I got a beautiful family um I got beautiful kids beautiful wife great parents uh who’ve been there you know that are up still in Western New York right now watching the game late at night my brothers are my the two guys I probably look up to the most in the world besides my dad um man and so family uh I appreciate you asking this family is the the most uh most important thing to me again love my wife uh she’s awesome she is a great coach’s wife and again three awesome kids that you know um yeah so ton ton a ton to be thankful for thank you Nick serani talking about how thank thank F he is at this time of year and then he says right before that please don’t tell the guys how good they are we did a ton of things wrong po poison I don’t like I wonder where you got that from yeah and uh we’ll talk more about what coach had to say but he also talked about saquan Barkley and how many times he gives him the ball we’ll talk about that and we will hear
