what are the emotions like for you making your NHL debut yeah it was uh I mean it was everything I’ve kind of always dreamed of it was uh there really no words to describe the feelings that I had the past 24 hours but it was um it was awesome to have family friends here um not too far from R Island so two and a half three hours isn’t isn’t too bad and it was it was it was awesome so looking forward to seeing everybody and hopefully build off it tonight you take the rookie lap but when you like stepped out onto the ice to start the game what was that emotion like for you what what was going through your mind I don’t really know if anything was going through my mind don’t fall I guess but um it was it was awesome um it’s it’s everything you watch on Instagram and social media whenever kids taking their rookie laps and something you always try to strive for and get there so it was uh yeah it was awesome I’m sure you’ve been watching what cool has been doing up here but just what was it like to see it up close yeah nice with yeah it was uh it’s awesome he’s had a he’s had a great year and um he was he was awesome to me when I signed here to playing the first three games in Harford um so just coming in here having a familiar face and being able to play with him tonight and he’s like I said he’s had a heck of year so he made it really easy on me tonight and um yeah hopefully we can keep building off of it what was the adjustment like for you what was the thing you noticed right away um I mean everyone’s good everyone’s just best league in the world for a reason um so I’m just trying to try to take one shift at a time and try to build off each shift um not every every game’s going to be perfect but uh I think tonight is just trying to go out there and play my game and just if I make a mistake make a mistake just keep building off of the positive the positive sh was tonight for you guys um I think we’re just giving up too many chances right now um our goues have been unreal for us but uh we can’t just keep giving up great a chances um a lot of them every game um it’s not it’s not going to work so got to be just a little tighter defensively I think you had take a third period tied two2 just what was different in that period that maybe they were able to create more or they limited your chances yeah I feel like we did get much and like I said we just gave up a lot um eventually when you give up a lot of chances um it’s going end up in the net so like I said our goalies have been unreal and we got to help them a lot more what does that come down to just just giving up these chances what do you up too uh just maybe our mindset I don’t know um we can be good offensively as a team but um I think we got to play defense first and um yeah that’s that’s it see um it’s three losses in a row a lot of shots against but it seems like it’s recurring thingsam and every loss it’s the same thing is this is this more than just a little bit of a slump now is this are there issues here um like I I said we just got to focus on our defense a little more and um our Line’s going to be way better defensively and um just can limit a lot of chances against and um that’s when we’re going to get offense
