loyal to Chicago but then were beaten in the next two games in the tournament so Oakland comes in now as an 18-point underdog the total is 142 in this game Corby Craig you isolated this one I’m curious I have a feeling we got a play on a total coming up what is the play on the total my friend yeah pretty good guess um I will be taking the under in the Oakland Arkansas game that sounds a whole bunch of fun and Arkansas under yep you heard me here first John caliper it sounds crazy but like I going back and looking through some of these lower level matchups this year it feels like this team is kind of soft like that I don’t think they run up the score as much as people probably would assume that this team with so much talent and the coach they have would Central Arkansas they played 65 possessions they were crushing that game you look at Pacific 76 possessions but the end of that game slowed down a ton Troy 68 like this team and then you go look at ENT which is a completely different story entt I’ve talked about Landing Glasper before but this team just loves went down to throw the ball up Landing Glasper in that game if yall remember me talking about this kid uh basically when down he’s like hey I’m not passing the basketball anymore I’m just going to shoot shoot threes he went two for 11 from three uh anytime down like this is a tough entt team to back like you want to talk about somebody who could not cover a 30 pretty easy you let your best player just go shoot threes the entire second half this is an Arkansas team that I I I just think looks like they are fine with laying over and and and chilling through an easy win now you have an Oakland team who by all accounts of the measure would love nothing more than that 359th in Tempo they can’t really do anything they just got back from Hawaii like this is a spot where I don’t know how Oakland scores I thought about the laying the 18 but again not sure I want to lay 18 with an Arkansas Team who I think is going to lay down so this is a Arkansas through and through for me and under through and through also like we look at Oakland like I mean they’ve had some decent defensive performances Toledo a team we just talked about could score a ton scored 52 on Oakland like this is a team who I think has good sets has good schemes they don’t have the talent they had last year um this would be a under nothing I’m going bet the under 142 all right Jeff Nudo for Arkansas since they lost to Illinois back in early December in a neutral floor game uh in Kansas City they won at Miami we know Miami is kind of unraveled and Jim Lena has retired or quit or whatever they’re calling it uh Arkansas also with wins over UTSA they beat Michigan that was the made for TV game in New York I think part of the Jimmy V classic right then Central Arkansas and North Carolina a T they had two easy wins there sleepy spot maybe for Arkansas we know we know it’s a sleepy spot for Oakland having been in Hawaii thoughts Jeff on this I’m not a big ad guy I’ve added a few and they’ve actually won this year I’m gonna add one here I’m gonna take Arkansas here I think this number is too light I I I would put it up throw it up over 20 I I I didn’t I thought this was too low Arkansas look it’s hard to make the case they don’t like the Pummel teams when they beat a team by S 4 this season I get his point though long term they’re starting to get going though Corby offensively this group’s really figured it out at seems like um and I think the thing that we’re not talking maybe at all about and and I’m going to talk about it when John Kari left Kentucky you know the last game he played he lost in was to Oakland okay he beat him in the NCA tournament remember Jack Goki had a big game in that one bunch of kids came over with John kipari and I’m not big on these like kind of emotional momentum type spots but some of them guys remembered that I think the concern I had was John El Davis is he going to play tonight he’s got a wrist injury a week ago they said he’s feeling a little bit better so I even think without him though this is a bad Oakland team I mean regularly they’ve gotten beat up this season they can’t score they’re not a good defensive team um they just do very little well quite frankly if this number was 22 probably wouldn’t take it but 18 seemed a little low to me I thought thought this was for sure a an 88 you know 65 type of game the crew on BET USV does a great job and they’re in the holiday spirit Jeff na they say it’s live at 17 and a half on BET us right now you power five if you will that they played in Hawaii was Oregon State Oregon State’s now playing in the West Coast Conference they have been in the Pack 12 and Oregon State beat them by six Jeff says
