[Music] well well pep you’ve ended the Run of defeats that’s one thing but tonight does it feel like a defeat in its way right what what got away from you no we give away the action so in that level so the game was fine three- Z and playing good and we didn’t concede much but after we ConEd a lot of goals because we are not stable we give them the first and the other one so that’s why is it’s difficult did you I saw your pain when the first goal was conceded did you sense it could potentially get away yeah because we lost a lot of games lately we are fragile and of course you need a victory and the game was good for The Confident for we playing good level and for the first time something happen we are we have problems is that a mental fragility do you think most of all no I don’t know but a mental is a question the technique so the first goal cannot happen and the second as well so that’s why and after that of course course we forget to happen we are desperate to win desperate to do well we do well but we don’t win games yeah normally your game management is so good and that that seemed to seem to go as well from a lot of players yeah that is the feeling that we have but the situation is where it is on the on the positive side and you take that 3-0 lead harand get harand scoring again Rico Lewis and outstanding performance are those things you can lean into no there are a lot of good things but that’s the weend from and after series three nothing much want to say of course there are a lot of things we play a really good game but in that level we cannot give them away so at the end when you know when every SE this time of game and another environment so that don’t happen but in this environment now happen when you look at the table now as we do with this new Champions League format it’s it’s eight points they’re saying maybe 16 gets you into the top eight do you consider that now and the the need to win Maybe your final three games right now it’s not ready to think about that so I have to recover prepare the next games is think about what’s going to happen in the future what we have to do but we are not able to win a game like today it’s difficult to do it so now in the next few days obviously a big game at anfield what’s your priority going to be rest one or two days clear mentally and and um and think of the next well Brian wellon how do you sum up an incredible turnaround ah I think it’s it’s difficult was hoping that you could help me a bit maybe in in that uh in that aspect um unbelievable evening and unbelievable game as well uh facing still for me best team in in the world but obviously they’re struggling in in some elements at the moment even though they were leading 3-0 and then they gave away three key moments that we exploited at the at the end so remarkable effort remarkable um mentality from our boys when you got the first goal you could see in Pepe’s face there was a real Agony maybe a sense that something might go wrong did you sense at that point something could really go right uh I think the one three goal um yeah when I looked at Pep I think he was more Angry conceding a goal which um which shouldn’t have been um and a little bit easy from his point of view so I think that was his probably his main thought uh but I definitely felt in in my boys and our boys that they were ready for this and and then when they got the two3 then then we definitely felt that there’s maybe something um in the air tonight what is it about your team away from home good question uh maybe we could talk to UA if we can play the last couple of games um away from home but no I hope that we can we can give our supporters a really good good game at home at the c um yes we had some good performances away from from home where we we definitely played well we had a good effort Etc I think this schedule also have pushed us a bit especially the salsburg game hurt us was in a tough period with also quite a lot of injuries and we missed some energy which you you need energy you need intensity in the Champions League games which we had tonight um so I’m I’m hoping uh that we can keep everybody fit in the coming period we we still got a lot of important games in the ADC and definitely SP at home as well as you know Manchester City go to Liverpool the weekend I think Anna slot the former final manager will be very happy with his former team yeah I’m I’m sure he he’s proud uh as as the next fine order then then for sure he he’s following I know that um so yeah we we definitely done everything we could to to help him as well he had a massive impact on on the whole club over the past three years and he definitely gave me a good start as well with with a good team and also the Champions League U competition so um I’m really happy that hopefully we can help him a bit and then he needs to do the dirty job on in the weekend yeah difficult difficult um 3 no up actually yeah I think uh we played quite well on the control um but yeah then uh it all changed we could see Pep’s frustration when that first goal was conceded real pain was there a sense at that point this could get away from us well I think um at that point you you just have to stay strong mentally you know I think um after the free one obviously they push on um I think maybe we have to go forward a bit earlier so we keep the pressure on them but I think yeah we stayed playing uh playing at the back and maybe invited more pressure on us and then yeah of course when you concede the second one then uh is even more pressure and I think we have to stay more mentally more strong now I wonder if um City gave that game away would that be a fair comment yeah I think we did if you Freo up at home I think you you can never give it away like this but um yeah it is what it is at the moment uh the only thing we can do now is is fight back and stay strong it’s not a defeat you’ve ended that run but does it feel like a defeat the way this game has been lost yeah I think the way obviously as as you said when you’re Freo up um yeah it feels like a defeat when you get Give It Away fre goals at home but look it’s tough now it’s it’s tough night but um the only thing we can do now is you know look forward to the next one it’s it’s Liverpool it’s it’s a big game and yeah it’s it’s another challenge we have to overcome is it a mental thing above all well maybe maybe it’s it’s difficult to say I think um obviously we’ve not been many times in these situations now um but yeah this is where we have to show our character you know when everything seemed to go against us and you know know everyone writing us off I think we have to stay strong mentally and believe in oursel and stay together and potentially those noises get louder now don’t they as you head towards Liverpool the the writing City off narrative but to be fair that’s that’s every season I think there’s a period where where people ride us off so um yeah we just have to make sure we stay strong together as a team the stuff everyone together and make sure we got out of it [Music]
