Boston Red Sox trade infielder Emanuel Valdez for minor league pitcher Joe vosi so Valdez last season he actually got a decent role at times with this red so team 2001 at bats six home runs 28 RBI 23 run scored to stallen base 214 average and a 270 on base obviously he didn’t show much in his time was VZ with the Boston Red Sox Low batting average showed some pop here and there not really an RBI guy so he’s more of a slap hitter singles hitter but this pirate team we know they need some help in the infield that need some bats to the lineup cuz their pitching rotation I like a lot is this Pittsburgh Pirate team led by Paul skines obviously you got Jared Jones over there Keller so they got some good options obviously in their rotation is this Pittsburgh Pirate team but they need some more bats and they make a minor deal here trading for Valdez who I believe will make the major league club for this Pittsburgh Pirate team and possibly get a starting job maybe second season goes on his Valdez so Emanuel Valdez in terms of fantasy baseball I don’t believe he’s going to have value out of the gate but definitely someone to keep an eye on as the season goes on where like I said at times last year he had some value in fantasy baseball for a little bit we’ll about this traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates and we’ll see if he got this pirate team in any way and possibly have some fantasy value went the ring the 2025 season
