talked about on the channel before uh what like adjusted plus minus is cuz people will always tell me when I say like oh this guy’s like defensive plus minus is top in the league or his offensive plus minus is this and they’re like plus minus is a bad statistic because it takes into account your whole team guess what you’re not actually that smart look at you you’re not actually that smart so it’s actually much more complicated than that when I’m talking about offensive estimated plus minus and defensive estimated plus minus it’s based off like linear regression math which I know most of you don’t know how to do so if we look at it here basically I’m just going to open this up in a new tab so you guys can see it basically there’s a ton of math that goes into this stuff and it actually gives you like really cool results so if we look at defensive estimated plus minus we do see Chris Dunn yeah 99th percentile here the only people in front of him amen Thompson Victor wanyama and Chet holgren I’d say that’s a pretty accurate representation and you can see it laid out here like look at how much higher Chad homr is than everyone else right now that’s pretty crazy
