I think we go on every single game in this league expecting it to be physical um our style of play is a physical one um You probably saw that during the Walter cup push um but yeah we’re a hard team to play against when we’re physicalities up but I think uh anytime you’re playing the pwhl the expectations for it to be a physical game yeah um I thought uh she was in the process of turning so I was just trying to finish the play um pinch the puck off and we just got caught up and um you never want to see a player go into the boards like that so I was just making sure that she knew that you know she could stay down like someone was right there just in case she was injured but she uh she said she bit her lip and she was up back in to play the next shift yeah it was funny cuz we didn’t challenge but they said we challenged oh okay so was it do you the rest I was going to challenge anyway however I thought they went into the box to challenge themselves yeah I mean I we saw that last year in the playoff push as well she’s you know if not the best goalie in the world and game after game we’ve seen that and uh hopefully we can be a little bit better in front of her you know I thought our first period and a half was great our four check was great we were playing with speed uh playing accountable doing the little things right um so hoping to see that for you know a full 60 yeah I think um do I need the M I think clarification is always good I think there’s some gray areas and obviously you know every play is so different the game’s really fast but it’s it’s good to have more clarification on what the rules are this year and um what that body contact does look like um definitely um you know you try not to put yourself in in in bad spots as well and um loness is on both players to make a hockey play out there and um you know it’s I think contact’s good I think it doesn’t affect the speed of our game so I think it’s a great step in the right direction yeah I’ve gotten a chance to play with Hannah on the international level and she’s fun to watch she’s got so much speed she’s got so much skill and she’s not afraid to be physical and you don’t see that too often when your skill players are ready to give hits and take hits and so I always like watching her play and and happy to be on her team and Hillary what’s it like having her on the line yeah I love playing with Hannah um she’s awesome she’s so Dynamic she opens up a ton of space for other players out there and she’s a true playmaker so excited for her to have game one under her belt and I’m really excited to see how the season unfolds for her I think it’s exciting I think it you know allows every single player in the lineup to be held accountable to you know a little bit more defensive play Maybe than they’re used to and I think actually all three goals were related to the new rule so like our power play we scored pretty quickly they got the jailbreak right away and then their power play again at the end so we wanted more Power Play Goals here we go uh I think we’ve worked on the power play a fair bit and I think it always has to be a point of emphasis especially you know after last year our power play percentage obviously wasn’t where we wanted it to be so I think heading into the season it’s definitely something we really want to focusing on yeah a little bit does it a little bit Yeah because the you know the players are stuck on the ice and they might not necessarily be PS originally um or if you know someone who’s your p’s in the box and so yeah you just got to figure it out and I think you know the two exhibition games allowed us to kind of figure out a little bit of a plan heading into today so
