hopes alive heading into the final week of the season I am your host Michael Leva joined as I am each and every week by Tom ernesty Tom how’s your Christmas how you doing Christmas was good it was busy obviously with two little ones opening up all their presents um other than that it was you know kind of ho hum we were finished with Christmas actually on Christmas we didn’t have any straggling parties after the fact so it was nice to get everything done and we get to Sunday and waited until the late slate for the Dolphins to take on the the Browns and lo and behold Mike they got to 500 yeah I mean first time since pretty much week one or week two I guess it would be uh they are at 500 it’s been a long winding road to get there and with one game left we’ll see if they finish the year over 500 or not and that we got a lot to talk about on this show we’re going to talk about dolphins Browns game obviously in this win we’re going to talk about the elephant in the room which is Tua Tonga vioa not playing and doesn’t sound like he might not be playing next week either who knows that’s up in the air but doesn’t sound promising from some of the postgame comments Mike McDaniel said we the Dolphins win 20 to3 and after that um we’ll talk to his stuff but first your thoughts on the game Dolphins they come out on the road against a brown team that look like they wanted to be anywhere else but in this game and they get the win uh first shout out to the defense uh you know they made the plays that helped the offense uh another shout out to Tyler Huntley who looked like a completely different quarterback than what he was in his first few starts with the Miami Dolphins so it definitely looks like he looked more comfortable and if the reports are true from Barry Jackson that the Dolphins are interested in keeping him around next year in the quarterback room this was a good first test for him uh to plead his case to be here with Miami Dolphins next year so um other than that it was as expected did it was ugly two teams that just can’t get out of their own way the Browns like you said Mike a team that looked like they didn’t even want to be on the football field they want to be in uh the Bahamas at this point uh and the Miami Dolphins who by all accounts uh shot themselves in the foot so many times today they they’re lucky that they won this football game 20 to3 uh the Browns just could not take advantage of any of the situations the Dolphins allow them to get into thanks for uh you know great defensive plays Tyrell doson was fantastic Jaylen Ramsey with a big play on fourth down um so overall it was a ho home win for the Miami Dolphins but a win nonetheless and we go to week 18 with something to play for which we didn’t even think was even possible especially with the news that came out today which we’ll talk about but the Dolphins got the job done late in December I’m not going to say in in terrible weather because it was a bombie 60 degrees in Cleveland at the end of December which is unheard of but the the winds the rain but the again that was a narrative squasher in a sense the Dolphins won a late game in December on the road with their season on the line they got it done and now we wait because there’s a lot of news that’s going to be coming out this week where this team is going to you know where they’re going to be from a health standpoint with the injuries to ton Armstead you know particularly um looked like he checked himself out of the game again they ruled him out so I don’t know if his knee finally gave out on him or not um but they go to the Meadowlands next week for MetLife takeover I hope if anyone is in the vicinity of Jersey you make your way there because after the Jets performance today in Buffalo those tickets are going to be handed out for free to go into that game it’ll be like old WCW uh if you’re a wrestling fan you’re getting free tickets to get in for the game so um it’s going to be a huge game it’s going to be a late start in my opinion because they got to line up with the Broncos who play at home against the Chiefs so those two games are going to be mirrored at the same time so it’s gonna be a night game let’s see what happens yeah um Miami won this game today and they won it in spite of their head coach I thought the they were you know very good on defense special teams you know outside of one bad punt was fine offense was good enough versus the Browns team that was dead I thought Mike McDaniel embarrassed himself in this game and once again they win games in spite of their head coach not because of their head coach and today was another example in the second half of this game you would have thought Mike McDaniel was down by 10 points not up by 10 points with the way he was some of the play calling and the challenges and everything it was just so bad and again you’re going to beat a Browns team like this on their third string quarterback I know some fans are like why are you being so negative I don’t want to hear that’s fine what if Mike McDaniel does this even for S Jets next week they ain’t gonna win you can’t get away with this stuff against good teams and that’s always been the problem with Mike McDaniel but you know they showed up today and beat a dead team in Cleveland um you know Huntley completed a lot of passes and compared to earlier in the year he played very well with that said I’ll push back on one thing you said I want no part of him as a number two quarterback next year if he’s a number two he’s not a number two quarterback in this league yes you can beat a bad Browns team on the road late in the year when they don’t care he’s not a number two quarterback he shouldn’t even be in the competition for the number two quarterback that’s just how I feel you know overall though for this Miami’s offense today you know it was it was good don’t get me I mean it was good enough they were still only two of 11 on third down they still couldn’t run the ball they only I mean you only had what 280 yards of offense Cleveland had 276 so it’s not like they were moving the ball well but they played well enough to beat a to beat a good team but Mike McDaniel man fourth in inches with a 10-point lead and you know he’s he’s throwing to pitch backwards um just punt andplay defense the Browns were no threat to score he doesn’t understand the situation of the game and what’s going on you’re just dominating with your defense just Putt and play defense you have a 10-point lead in the second half what are you doing then he blows through two challenges on two low percentage challenge calls just blows through him like they’re nothing he’s out of challenges in the third quarter what are you doing like Mike McDaniel is an anchor on this team he holds the team back even when things are going well on a day like today and that was obvious and again you’ll get by a team like the Browns um with all these mistakes from your head coach but it’s in the big picture it’s going to be toughed over overcome him um moving forward but you know um overall Hill played a nice day Janu Smith played a nice day Armstead left the game injured don’t know why aan at one point left the game really never got back in it much don’t know what’s going on there either I’m sure we’ll find out here in the coming days but overall I thought Tyler um Tyler doson played well um I mean if you do get a pick you don’t have to take your helmet off but aside from that he played well on defense I thought uh Campbell played well on defense just you know a solid performance and a just a workmanlike effort versus a bad team who didn’t want to play today and overall a good day for the Dolphins to stay alive they did what they had to do next week versus the Jets they open up as a two and a half Point favorite as of this moment we were recording Sunday night the Jets they got blown out we’ll see what happens next week but really if they win and if the Chiefs who only lost once all year and they know they’re going to arrest some guys you know if they win Miami’s in and from where they were at two and six at the start of the year the fact that they’re still alive it is something it’s something uh I don’t know if the odds of making them playoffs next week are great but I’ve been saying that for weeks and they’re here so I’m just going to shut up at this point and say let’s just see how this unfolds um right now because the fact that they’re still alive God bless them I will give them credit for that okay what’s that oh I I was just going to say regarding Huntley um better than sky Thompson yes that’s not saying much I’m better than Skyler Thompson Skyler Thompson yeah so but that’s what your competition is on who you’re bringing back next year you’re gonna bring back Tyler Huntley over Skyler Thompson they still need a viable pure number two quarterback whether they do it through the draft or they get another veteran just go out there and sign Gardner muu go pay ma Jones go pay Zack Wilson go pay Joe flacko you don’t need Huntley then cuz that’s your number two quarterback then you want to take someone around five six or seven have them be developmental God do it I don’t want a competition for the number two quarterback spot I want a real number two quar last summer that was fun last summer yeah it was great I don’t want Huntley in a competition I don’t need to see Huntley in a competition when he played the Browns today everyone’s gonna go back to this game oh Tyler hunting game he completed all these passes great cares I mean again take in account the opponent I want a real number two quarterback because we need a real number two quarterback which leads us into a segue you’re great time leads us into to a segue into our next topic to a tongue of ioa is hurt again this time not with a concussion with with his hip and he missed this game might miss next game and I know we’re probably not going to agree on this and I know I might have the unpopular opinion I’m Gonna Let You Go first I’m let you go first say everything you want to say about Tua and then I’m gonna go um and share my thoughts because I know I would say this fans you know I know after the game Mike McDaniel spoke and I got some of the quotes I’m sure you’ll have some too uh you know it sounds injury you s Mike McDaniel may sound like his leg might need to be amputated this sip injury so bad there’s no chance he could play today I don’t I don’t know if I totally believe that but Tua has a hip injury he didn’t play today although on Thursday when he spoke to the media made sound like nothing’s wrong um and we’ll see about next week so what are your thoughts on this whole situation well number one it sucks uh as fans of this football team that your starting quarterback was available for a win or go home type game um I reserve judgment until we know I know personally if and how severe the injury truly is he was limited all week in practice so he did some form of practice but once the doors closed to the media how much he’s actually doing so the media is just seeing him you know standing there throwing a football you know light toss football stretching warming up and then once they start practice and they’re install the doors are closed we don’t know how much he actually did in practice but he did something to say that he was limited the thing also if the injury it seemed like it happened at Houston I saw the play he took a direct shot right at his hip area he finished that game and then he went out and he played against the 49ers he played the entire game didn’t look like he was too hindered against the 49ers but if he was laboring through it and it got to the point where it got worse then okay I could understand you may need to to rest and you know the fact that McDaniel said that you know a surgery right now is not on the table doesn’t bode well for what if he can play next week but we have said on this show many times I am an Avida supporter I don’t hide it your best ability is your availability and him missing this game makes that contract that he signed in the summer more of a head scratcher because last year he got through every single game he played every single game and the playoffs last year this year he got pissy in week two threw his head right in Jamar Hamlin got concuss Miss four games he comes back he’s played well he took a shot to the to the hip against the Texans on a I think it was a scramble and he didn’t protect himself now yes it’s not a concussion I get it but his hip is the second biggest thing uh when it comes to his injury history because of what happened that catastrophic injury suffered in Alabama he needs to be available if he can walk and he can move he should be playing next week against the Jets no question however again the caveat how severe really is it if he shows limited practice on Wednesday Thursday and Friday he should be playing so again I took this as going into today as the team was working with Optics if the Broncos were to win they just shut two it down they had the reason to do that by downgrading him to doubtful Broncos lost to a stayed doubtful and then ultimately out for the game thankfully they were playing the Browns thankfully Huntley played a an efficient football game where he didn’t make too many mistakes and they came away with a win let’s see what happens this week but your best ability is your availability if he’s showing he can practice in any fashion he should be playing period end of story if he does not practice at all next week then that leads us to believe that there is something more significant with his hip and something that will probably need to be addressed once the season ends all right um that’s fair and here’s the thing before I talk I know my opinion on this is going to be very unpopular and that’s fine you don’t have to agree with me um but here’s the deal in a game in which you are still technically alive for a playoff spot and you have a $200 million quarterback and he didn’t play If The Hip isn’t broken he should have been out there and played I’m sorry that’s just the way I feel um every player in week 17 is in some pain play through it especially if you’re the franchise quarterback making the most money in the organization and you know they’re out there putting out this spin well he wanted to play but we protected him from himself and the medical team wouldn’t let him play stop stop who was the highest paid employee in the organization he could have said no I’m playing this isn’t Up For Debate that’s what real quarterbacks do they don’t hide behind a training staff do you think Payton Manning would have let a trainer keep out of a big game Tom Brady Josh Allen Pat Mahomes Drew Brees of course not of course not they would have walked up go yeah okay I’m playing that’s it no debate not hiding behind a training staff interrupt salt in the wound on Thursday when Tua met with the media after Christmas he was asked if the Dolphins are eliminated out the playoffs on Saturday prior to Sunday’s game would it make any type put that matter and how he plays in the game or how he approaches to a said and I quote you get to see a lot about a person is by the way they go about their business and then he doesn’t [ __ ] play stop but even okay let me say you know the hip is so bad this hip injury which again if it’s not broken play just my opinion um we have a larger problem here in Miami and look raw fans the Dolphins we all want the team to win we all want to support the quarterback but we ain’t winning [ __ ] with this guy a quarterback he’s fragile his body can’t hold up to the rigors of playing in the NFL his concussion in week two against the bills was a routine hit where his helmet went into the guy’s stomach um and this one was just you know once again instead of sliding he dived in between two players and no nothing egregious about the hit he just once again he gets hurt and the only year again because he refused to slide too against Houston once again what’s the common threat in both those games bills and Houston big games they’re losing Tua don’t want to slide he says eff it because he’s all in a pissy mood because he’s playing like crap um the only year that Tua tried to stay healthy was last year in 201 23 hm interesting why because he knew he was playing for a big money contract he gets the big money contract in August and once he got that contract in August what Tua did to his team the fans and the Miami Dolphins organization was like f you I don’t care I got paid and that’s and he went back to every old bad habit that he ever did prior to getting paid prior to the one year he tried to protect himself because Tu is selfish selfish Tua and if you’re still defending him at this point people you’re part of the problem because don’t make excuses for this guy in the postgame press conference Mike McDaniel said surgery’s not on the table two his hip pain never went away he wouldn’t say if he’s going to play next week look the hip ain’t broken you make $200 million you have a chance to make the playoffs get out there and play that’s how this works okay he can’t hide behind the medical staff you have an entire offseason to rest up and if the hips that bad we one hit is just going to like [ __ ] this guy put him on IR let’s add a quarterback and let’s go because we can’t depend on this guy that’s how this works and know I saw dip shits on social media all day Saturday you know saying you know if we’re out of it we got to bench every player that that’s the hell the NFL works just because the game might not matter you just don’t bench everybody okay players are playing for money one you can’t and two what kind of mess you wonder why the Dolphins have this soft culture in Miami it’s because a cra like that and I know there’s fans on social media who are total [ __ ] who don’t understand how the NFL works that’s fine but that’s not how the NFL Works we’ve raised a a generation of morons who don’t know football and by the way spoiler today’s game did matter it did matter it you know it’s just so frustrating to watch you know this guy just he doesn’t get it like they’re play against houon slide like he doesn’t slide ever he has no regard to his body which in he’ll get up there and say the right things at the press conference he said I think this month you know I know we’re in this uh mess right now because I didn’t take because of what happened in week two and then I missed the month then he does it again vers Houston he is selfish he doesn’t care he’s gonna play the way he wants to play and he ain’t built for the NFL he ain’t built for the NFL you might like Tua you might buy the number one jerseys you might yell at everyone Chris Sims Mike Florio and everyone who criticizes him on social media or on their shows or platforms that’s fine you care more about Tua than Tua cares about you because he will not protect himself for the best interest of this team ever ever and in closing I never and I mean never want to see another fan of the Dolphins troll or mock Justin Herbert ever again Herbert in 2020 2021 2022 and 2024 has never missed a start start the only starts he missed were last year once the Chargers were eliminated from week 14 on Herbert fractured his ribs in 2022 missed one [ __ ] play one [ __ ] play two it would have been on IR for six weeks Herbert fractured his finger in October 2023 didn’t miss a game Herbert had a high ankle spring in September this year didn’t miss a game Herbert had another high ankle injury and a contusion a few weeks back didn’t miss a game so you might not like Herber you might and people might still have this whole Tu a Herber thing which makes no [ __ ] sense at any level the Chargers drafted their guy gave him an extension they’re happy Miami drafted their guy they gave him an extension they seem to be happy why the fans are fighting over this blows my mind but never compare Tua to Herbert ever again because one guy is there every week through thick and thin playing through every injury serious or not and one guy can’t be trusted to show up you know he already missed a playoff game because of a concussion now he’s missing big games in week 17 because he’s got a hip injury and okay the hip injury is right fine okay it’s a bad injury but it just goes to show you are not it’s going to be another 24 years before you win a playoff game if you’re going to run an organization this way with a quarterback you can’t trust and a quarterback who doesn’t care enough to protect himself to win this is the problem with the dolphins they are in now look he’s here for two more years so they can’t trade him they can’t cut him the contract is what it is he’s here for two more years but we’re going to have to live with this for two more years and I don’t think we’re winning anything for with two more years um with him at quarterback because you can’t trust him to be there week to week and I don’t care what his completion percentages that’s the thing with the two uh cult members no they always find an arbitrary stat and like and prop it up like this is the Beall and endall like two completion who gives a [ __ ] what his completion percentages or what his uh ball the you know yards in the air per who gives a crap about this stuff win games show up and play the two most important things and he doesn’t do it on a consistent basis maybe he’ll play next week for Su Jets maybe he won’t but this week I think you know it it just speaks a lot about where we are as a franchise when you can’t trust your starting quarterback to show up in a big game and it’s not a concussion this time folks folks and they can say what they want I don’t believe them as far as I can throw them because they lied to us on Thursday when Tua said oh I’m fine it’s no big deal it’s no big deal it’s no big deal no big deal okay it’s no big deal then Saturday last minute oh by the way he ain’t gonna play this week he’s thoughtful get out of here man if you believe the Dolphins and what they’re putting out there you are really naive we are we go a we have a bad situation in court that that’s why you can’t run it back with Tyler Huntley as your quarterback too next year because he ain’t any good either and they need a reliable competent quarterback to and you’re gonna have to spend money on quarterback to but according to the Miami Herold report earlier this week that ain’t happening because they’re going to go cheap and go Tyler Huntley and we’re going to be in the same cycle of Hell in 2025 because we’re the Dolphins and nothing ever changes well that’s hard to follow up Mike but nothing to follow everything I said is true and I and I know some fans don’t want to hear it and I know some fans don’t like it but that’s the truth I’m sorry it is he does not protect himself and he’s not built like Josh y he’s not built like Herbert he’s not built like Herz he’s not built like these guys where he can play Reckless and take the hits and absorb the hits clearly he can’t clearly he can’t and he refuses to slide he refuses to protect himself especially in games you’re losing where all this stuff seems to happen and that’s just on top of the head injury stuff which look that is what it is that’s not even his fault per se it’s just bad luck being dealt a bad hand but you got to factor it in on top of everything else going on and I have no sympathy for this man anymore he brings this on himself and when I saw he wasn’t going to play I’m like you got to be kidding me you gotta be kidding me this guy’s not gonna play I mean unbelievable and yes the team can say no guess what go to the team like I said pton Manning Tom Brady Mahomes Al yeah guys thanks for your advice I’m play he won’t listen to the doctors when it comes to concussions who all tell him to retire won’t listen to him then but on the hip I got to listen to the doctors they told me camp like you can’t have it both ways you can’t have it both ways and that’s the problem what I was gonna say was we gotta have a virtual uh swear jar yeah well Hey listen this is a not safe for work episode yeah yeah we’re gonna put it we’re gonna put in uh we’re gonna put the uh e next to our title for thisit explicit language no I you know I’m like two life crew of the 90s I like every I like everything you said the one thing there’s one huge common denominator to everything you said and that’s why we’re still looking for a damn playoff win over the last 24 years Mike you know the answer who is it no Chris queer boom he’s the one that handed out the contracts he’s the one that actually you know what the lavish contracts he handed out lavish contracts yes when it comes to Tua it was Mike McDaniel who did make the call this St Ross So as much as look I want Chris Greer gone you know that you want we all want Chris Greer gone nobody’s no one’s going to stand here and defend Chris Greer anymore but I will say this Chris Greer might have been trying to pinch pennies when it comes to Tua and it sounds like Mike mcdy went over his head and call the owner to get the deal done now maybe Chris Greer asked me go Mike I’m I am sitting here trying can you make a fall to help me get this done that could be the case to I don’t know that might be the case but it did sound like Mike McDaniel made the call to get this done so I don’t know whatever let mean look he sucks anyway so he still got to go at at the at the end of the day if you were in Mike McDaniel’s position in July in August beginning of August watching Mike White and Skyler Thompson tried to play football that’s why he made that phone call it I mean look at how bad the team was in those four games without Tu a Tong of vioa quarterback they were Dreadful that’s partially also on the coach because he didn’t know how to adapt to the quarterback that was going to be playing Tua the system and everything is predicated on tuong of vioa skill set we know what his skill set is I’m not going over it today I felt like there was a different style of play available for Tyler Huntley and he looked better didn’t look tremendous he’s not he’s not an all proo he looked better he looked like a viable backup quarterback that can come in a pinch he came in in a pinch he won the game today that’s fantastic but the and everything is predicated on the person who is running the show and the person running the show is the one that is handing out these contracts and I still sit here and believe today those contracts were handed out to save his ass it gave him another couple years period it did yeah here we I think the problem now though the problem now really is with number one and his style of play and the fact he refuses to protect himself anymore um you know last year heading into 2023 he put on the weight he put on the muscle you know everyone made fun oh look he’s fat he’s chunky but it worked you factor that in with the way he got rid of the ball so quick and he did run out of bounds and he slid all the time again why why you don’t need to be Scooby-Do to solve this mystery because he wanted the big payday and once he got the big payday once he got all that money he’s literally gone back to everything he did in 2022 and prior to where he was getting all the head injuries and now this time it’s not a head injury it’s a hip injury but the same thing that happened in week two he didn’t slide in week two this game vers Houston he’s not protecting himself he doesn’t protect himself and you know talk is cheap at this point he can say all the right things at the podium I don’t anyone here’s the deal with these media sessions the league mandates Mike McDaniel must talk to the media a handful of times a week the league mandates that Tua must talk to the media once a week and they mandate who talks to the media so they have to do it but they don’t have to tell you the truth they don’t have to be honest and they don’t have to say anything of consequence so you know people say well he said this yeah so what he lied wake up people and not just one of them all of them the Smart Ones do lie I the problem I had with our last head coach Mr Flores was he was too dumb to lie at at least these people are smart enough to lie but the fact they’re smart enough to lie is good but don’t take him at their word well he said he was healthy he lied okay folks wake up he lied um but at the end of the day if he’s not going to change the way he plays if he’s not going to change how he protects himself we’re not going to win just we’re not GNA win as a franchise yes you’ll beat the Browns of the world you’ll beat the Jets of the world you’ll beat the Patriots when they’re way down right now in the world you’ll beat the Raiders when they stink yes you’ll win those games but you’re not gonna beat the Packers the Houston Texans they not going to beat the bills last year was the Eagles and the Chiefs you’re not beating them not going to beat those teams because a the head coach is a [ __ ] which he is and we’re going to talk about that um but also your quarterback just here’s one other phrase I don’t want to hear anymore two is him he ain’t him okay two ain’t him two ain’t it two ain’t any of that he’s he’s a good quarterback and and I’ve always said that there’s nothing wrong with being a good quarterback but these fans who want to probably he’s great he’s he ain’t he’s just good and there nothing wrong with good but you got to accept he’s just good and he’s and you also have to accept now he’s injury-prone and he cannot be trusted that’s why you have to spend good money on a real backup quarterback next year and not go with Tyler Huntley because Tyler Huntley for one week Christmas week in December against a dead Browns team he looked like Earl moral great everyone can be happy let’s see how he looks next week for s jets uh let’s see how he looks if they make the playoffs in a playoff game possibly and it’s just he ain’t he ain’t he ain’t the guy that as a real number [Music] two you ready to talk about this game you know yeah let’s yeah let’s talk about it we’re we’re 33 minutes into our our program we haven’t even gotten to the the fun part which is that they actually won yes they did win but again it’s not the elephant in the room again I you know I know there’s there’s a segment of the fan base and I get it who just like they won be happy for a week yeah who’s not happy they won but you can’t ignore the elephant in the room they won okay they’re eight and eight okay but it’s like the elephant in the room is we got a 200 something million dollar quarterback who that contract hasn’t even officially kicked in yet doesn’t kick into after this season and he’s not playing in the biggest game of the year you know and last week we saw our owner at this time giving a game ball to the head coach to go seven and eight job not well done I mean there’s just so much to talk about with this team and his organization that if you just focus on win just be happy la la la la la nothing else matters you know you’re doing yourself a disservice you’re doing yourself a disservice and it’s you know if some people want to get all excited because they beat a three win Cleveland Browns team with a third string quarterback who doesn’t even look like he belongs in the NFL great there’s a podcast out there who will break down every play and celebrate the win and tell you why Tyler huntley’s the next Troy Aman and everything’s great in La La Land This ain’t that show we’re g to we’re going to keep it real folks and yes they won and I gave credit to you know everyone on defense pretty much I gave credit to special teams outside a one punt I gave credit to H I gave a lot of credit at top of the show don’t lose fact to that don’t just harp in on down the part with Tua but you got the organization as a whole right now is at a big Crossroads and the past 24 hours really hasn’t been great with the two and news and and if he doesn’t play this week a lot more fans are going to come around to my way of thinking than some of the two a homers might like to believe so the Dolphins punt on their opening sequence uh uh their opening drive of the game but this is I do want to quickly go through this sequence Mike because this is the epitome of Miami Dolphins football for the last 20 years uh after they get a first down uh to T Tyreek Hill to uh a 15 yard reception into Cleveland territory around the 40 yard line uh in comes Isaiah wi to throw an unnecessary block after Tyreek Hill was down pushes them back into their own territory so essentially the 15 yards they gained pushes them back to the exact same spot of the last play which was the 41 yard line then Tyler Huntley has a snap at his feet so he had to abort that play then after a uh pass to hn they went for one yard they were called for offensive holding which was declined and then they get 13 yards on third down and they punt it is the peak 2024 Miami Dolphins Mike when they gain 15 on the very same play they lose the 15 yards undisciplined football yeah I mean not shocked the uh so EX so a punt and then the Dolphins get a field goal from Jason Sanders of 54 yards the big play on the drive was the third eight Devon Anan 16 yard completion but an offensive holding on Aaron Brewer pushed it back and then Anan picked up 12 yards on the reception to get him in field goal range and Mike Jason Sanders hits his 25th consecutive field goal and this one in the wind and rain in Cleveland 54 yards puts the Dolphins on top yeah um I knew the Browns weren’t going to score much that was a big kick to get up by three cuz I didn’t think the Browns are going to score more than 10 the fact that they only scored three um Sanders has been good you know I know he’s missed a few extra points of late but again for the most part he’s been pretty solid this year uh the Browns do match the field goal had tied it up at three the Dolphins defense did sty the Browns inside the 10 yard line they had it first and goal from the seven uh and the drive ended at the seven yard line after a two- yard run from Jerome Ford and Hopkins hit a 25 yard field goal the teams exchanged uh punt after punt after punt uh and then the Dolphins defense come up big as the the Browns get to their 33 yard line Dorian Thompson Robinson threw over the middle of the field which was intercepted by Tyrell doson who uh was touched and then immediately removed his helmet as he was running down to celebrate and was called for unsportsman like conduct so first Tyrell doson I think he was a fantastic pickup for the Dolphins after they C David long Jr I think you could see it in his play that he is more of a force than David long Jr was this year under under Anthony Weaver but the unsportsman like conduct penalty oh God that just set him back yeah um I mean look is what it is uh undisciplined team does an undisciplined thing um I don’t know what to say I mean just I’m not shocked by it uh so after the Dolphins are backed up to the 35 yard line Huntley was sacked false start on Kendall lamb and then Diaz gridge with a reception on Third and 27 the Dolphins were forced to punt Cleveland uh went for it at the Dolphins four uh 38 yard line and deont foran was stuffed by Quinton bell for no gain and the Dolphins were able to get the ball back with 40 seconds on the clock get it down into field goal range and after a completion of Malik Washington and a thankfully a spike from Tyler Huntley the Dolphins take a six nothing or 63 lead into the break after Jason Sanders hits a 39 yard field goal As Time expired and Mike we have reached halftime yeah uh one thing real quick before I start reading the plugs um what were your thoughts on Tyreek Hill returning punts for the majority of this game I liked it here’s why he’s done very little this year on offense so far and Washington you know that one game versus the Packers the uh um the punt at the start of the game really killed him and the guy never calls for a fair Catch and I’m sure he’s probably been told call for a fair Catch and he never calls for a fair catch um so I think they probably said you know what we’re going to put a hill back there and just to maybe send a message or whatever um yeah I didn’t have a problem with it um but it was interesting that they went to Hill return punts at one point early in this game yeah um I’m not thrill by it to be honest with you uh because he is still for this game especially he was your number one viable Target outside of jnu Smith um who’s been more reliable honestly this year um so I didn’t like it too much but at the same time I understand that you you only have so many bodies I I would rather have like a DS gidge back there or maybe even a river crate craft uh back there returning kicks um but you know Hills a spark plug right he’s he’s got some pump returns for touchdowns in his career uh but since he came to Miami that was that’s not what he what he does but clearly uh they do not want Malik Washington who’s wide receiver too right now with Jaylen Wadd out so I didn’t think they wanted to get Malik Washington hurt but yeah put Hill back there maybe he gets hurt no I also think it’s a way to get Hill involved in the game because I think Hill you know for better or worse is a guy where if he’s not seeing the ball can become disinterested in the game and maybe that might be leading to some drops maybe like you know what let him return some punts he’ll be into the game a little bit more and maybe you might see him drop less balls now he had a big game today I don’t know if that was a reason but there might be some logic in to get him integrated in the game more get him more focused into the game and we’ll see I mean I didn’t have a problem with it because again I think with no Tua you go to look for creative ways to score as well and I think with Hill back there you got a chance of a big play being broken more so than Washington just I did find it interesting um and also a little surprising at first but then when I started thinking about it for all the reasons I said H maybe not too bad all right everyone go check out finheaven.com f.com and then Tyler Huntley used his legs for a 13 yard touchdown and the Dolphins finally find The End Zone against the Browns and uh Mike the Dolphins seem like they’re starting to run away with the game yeah um I mean Cleveland right now is quit I will say this about Cleveland I like their head coach a lot I actually think he’s a very good head coach and what we saw today from the Giants what we’ve seen from the Raiders and stuff um Cleveland knows how to tank Cleveland has experienced tanking they’re gonna make they were gonna make sure they weren’t going to win this game they’re gonna make sure they’re not going to win next week Cleveland knows how to tank and I think as of right now they’re picking second and if somehow the Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills next week Cleveland’s going to end up with the number one pick of the draft so at worst they’re picking second and they might end up picking first and I’ll give the brownies credit you know all these other teams are out there trying to win they’re like no we’re going to make sure we’re going to lose Doran Thompson you’re our guy we’re gonna call a crappy game defense miles you can get a couple sacks other than that whatever and they didn’t look like they were too interested but um you know Huntley overall here on this drive you know he was good um again they had asked him to do a lot lot and a lot of the plays he made with his legs were mainly because the offensive line totally broke down he was running for his life but it counts and touchdown and at this point it was pretty clear the game was over um well it was it was pretty clear to everyone on planet Earth except for Mike McDaniel who then got flag happy throwing challenge flags on plays that didn’t matter but we’ll get to it um before I before I move on if Dolphins fans think they have it bad with tws contract look at the team across the field from us and that contract wait Cleveland’s picking fourth right now I could have sworn they were second let me see uh I probably they’re stra no they’re third they’re third they’re third right now they’re third behind Tennessee and New England um and let’s and let now that you bring up tanky we’ll get back into the game for a second what the what the hell are the Raiders and Giants doing what are they doing well I’ll say this about the Raiders um first year head coach now yes should they be losing yes but everyone’s been saying Tom Brady wants Sanders because he works with Sanders the quarterback from Colorado Tom Brady is gonna fire the head coach blah blah blah um he’s gonna fire p i mean look Tom Brady doesn’t know that percent but I think he’s making a lot of calls cause Mark uh Mark what’s his face here for the r is just going to listen and probably do whatever Tom Brady he wants so I understand Antonio Pier trying to go all out and win he’s probably you know what if we got to trade up for a quarterback we’ll trade up but I got to win games the Giants there’s an old saying we didn’t come this far just to come this far the Giants came really this far they had the number one pick of the draft locked up they have been playing God awful the past 10 weeks and today they they they went out there at MetLife Stadium and they acted like it was the Super Bowl and they were running up they were playing like the their hair was on fire Drew lock with five touchdowns I mean you couldn’t stop the Giants offense the Giants defense was all over the place and I don’t get it um I don’t get it but once again that’s a head coach in the GM who might think they’re gonna fight honestly if I’m the I’m like I was gonna keep you now I am gonna fight because you screwed this up yep unbelievable anyway it’s get back to the game uh the team exchange punts after the Dolphins touchdown uh the Browns uh um had a six-play 14 yard drive and that drive was ended by Emanuel agba sacking Dorian Thompson Robinson and uh stripping the football which was recovered by DeShaun H uh and the Miami Dolphins uh get get life and there’s you know the defense Mike once again making big plays they started getting some pressure they did not get a lot of pressure in the first half but we definitely saw it in the second half yeah um very good day for the pass rush um they’re after it I got another question for you because I know like this game is just so boring the second half Kus Campbell you know there’s been the reports once Miami is out of the playoffs they’re going to release him well now here we are week 18 and we haven’t been eliminated yet um do you think he’s a little he’ll never admit it do you think he’s like I’m going to miss out on the playoffs because if Miami does not get in you can’t release then you can’t then it’s too late you think he was probably now like in hindsight like I wish they would have traded me back in November or I wish they would just let me go like a week or two back I shouldn’t have stepped in um he’ll never admit it but he’s got to be a little frustrated at this I’m I’m sure I’m sure there’s some frustr frustration level there but he’s living in his home town I I don’t and he’s with his family I I don’t know how much frustration is is really the competitive side of him absolutely he could be on the Ravens right now but from the P from a from a interpersonal self he’s he’s home he’s in Miami he’s with his family he sees his family all the time I don’t think at 38 he’s just like ah damn it I don’t I want to be I’d rather be here or there he wanted to play Home but if he wanted to retire after this year this was his chance to get the last ring yes now it’s not going to happen Yes again and now he has to decide if he wants to come back next year and go through this all over again and I don’t know if he does I doubt that it’ll be in Miami oh it won’t be in Miami it won’t be in Miami but I could see him going to a team again like Baltimore go back to the Ravens um he could find another you know another team he’s gonna get a he’s gonna get a decent chunk of change he’ll make more than what he made with Miami this year he signed with Miami on a very friendly contract for one year because everyone thought T be really good good and have a chance to win and it didn’t just yes I think that’s why he did but he he’s he’s in for he’s in for like in a jvon Clowny type contract that one incentive lated oneye deal where you can make up to like 12 million he’ll probably get seven eight million guaranteed if he signs somewhere else God bless him the man has been playing so well this year he deserves if he wants to go for it next year again with a with a different team God bless him he deserves it cus Campbell has been all world for this football team from the veteran leadership what he provides to guys like chop Robinson especially um that that’s the type of guy you want in the locker room but Miami they’re they’re probably not g to bring him back and he doesn’t want to be back uh so but he’s got a chance to get into the playoffs still but they need help that’s the difference they need help to get in they got to do their job but they also have to hold that the Kansas City backups can do exactly what the Pittsburgh Steelers did to the Buffalo Bills God knows how many years ago I think it was 2005 or six when the Steelers were playing their second and third string players in Buffalo and All Buffalo had to do was beat them on their home field and Pittsburgh beat the [ __ ] out of them with their backups so hopefully Kansas City can channel that in and beat Denver in Denver with their backups but yeah we’ll see um Dolphins turn it over on Downs After the fumble this is the one this is the play Mike wants to talk about Huntley scrambles uh on Third and five he picks up four yards he stretched on the replay it looked like he may have got it but uh the call was that he was short on fourth and one Mike McDaniel challenged it I didn’t mind the challenge I thought it was decent enough opportunity to see if he got the ball across the line uh before he landed out of Bounce they lost the challenge and then went fourth and one and decided to do a kind of an option pitch to Devon aan and there were three Browns in the back field before he could even make their turn yeah well I did have a problem with the challenge again you’re up 10 you are dominating on defense you have to play the situation just punt and Live to play another day why are you risking a you only have two challenges why would you risk one when you when you are controlling the game why would you risk one and two uh even if you did want to go for it on fourth down okay I I’m still not going to challenge but I’m not going to call that crappy play on fourth down like none of this makes sense at any level which I always say is is a problem with Mike McDaniel you know I’m not CH when I’m up 10 and I’m controll in the game and the Brown’s got a third string quarterback who can who can’t do anything why are you challenging anything save him in case God forbid something happens and the game gets out of control you need him this is it makes no sense to challenge here but that’s only compounded by the idiotic play call in fourth down well let’s get into it again Mike after an 11 yard completion for the Browns after the Dolphins turn it over on Downs uh Dorian Thompson Robinson throws incomplete to deont foreman and the Dolphins challenge Ford pass because it looked like it was he threw it from I think what was it the 40 yeah 43 44 yard line he threw the ball and it looked like it drifted back beyond that line but it’s where the quarterback’s release point of the football is not where he’s standing it’s where the release point is go but either way he challenged it and and you know even the announcers are laughing at him even the referee when he went to announce a plays challenge he’s got a smk on his face like dude you ain’t going to win this one either because it’s a low percentage Challenge and again you’re up by 10 you’re dominating on defense just you’re what are you challenging what is there to gain yeah okay it’s a turnover you didn’t need it the Browns were not a threat in this game and it’s none of this makes any sense that you know I’ve written articles on this I won’t get into it tonight again it’s just this guy is just he hurts himself more than anything at times it’s like just look at the game situation like they weren’t moving the ball they w weren’t doing anything if this was you know first the bill okay yeah we need the ball we need the turnover no leads ever safe against Dorian Thompson Robinson the lead was safe the lead was very safe uh the Browns might not have been a threat in the game they were on this specific drive but on the uh at the end of it it ended up being a turnover on Downs because of a tremendous play by Jaylen Ramsay on Fourth and goal kept the Browns out of the end zone uh the Dolphins punt Browns punt Dolphins punt Browns uh lose it on Downs Dolphins were getting the ball at the 18 yard line it did not take long uh Jeff Wilson went for two yards then Tyler Huntley found Tyreek Hill for 13 and the drive ended on a Tyler Huntley to jonu Smith sevenard touchdown and the Dolphins go up 20 to3 and the Browns made a little last Stitch effort got it down to the Dolphins 17 yard line uh but three straight incomplete passes on second and five third and five fourth and five wrap the game up the Miami Dolphins beat the Browns 20 to3 on the road the team stats are gudy folks prepare this is the most Gody offensive showing you’ll ever here uh both teams had 18 first downs Dolphins two for 11 on third down that’s where they missed two there uh the Browns were seven for 17 on third down 0 for four on fourth down Dolphins were 0 for one the Browns ran 76 plays for 276 total yards Dolphins ran 57 for 280 uh the Browns 3.6 yards per play Dolphins 4.9 quarterback play uh Tyler Huntley for the Dolphins 22 of 26 fairly efficient uh for 225 yards he averaged 6.9 yards per pass he did not turn it over and he did have a touchdown pass uh to jonno Smith and also ran one in uh Dorian Topson Robinson there was a segment of the fan base that wanted the Dolphins to claim him after Tua got hurt well today he was 24 47 for 170 yards he averaged 3.4 yards per pass he threw a pick uh and he was sacked once for eight yards rushing was God awul for the Dolphins 27 carries for 74 yards average 2.7 yards per Rush the Browns 28 for 114 average 4.1 the Red Zone where the games are one and loss Mike Dolphins were two for two in the Red Zone today the Browns 0 for three and penalties 11 for 94 for the Dolphins and nine for 84 for the Cleveland Browns the Browns did turn it over twice and time of possession was fairly equal 3041 for the Dolphins 29 2919 for the Cleveland Browns Mike who’s getting your game ball for this game today Tyler doson 15 tackles that’s right 15 tackles um as well as an interception as well um and he had a quarterback hit too so Tyler doson gets my game ball you know the last time we saw him in a starting rooll he struggled a lot I think that was ver the Packers he did not look good um this game once again I know it’s not the Packers it’s the Browns he looked like a guy who belonged on the field and Tyler doson was he he was running around like his hair was on fire he was fantastic I am I’m gonna go with Tyler Huntley um I thought he was efficient I don’t think he made many mistakes he led the team in rushing um which is nice to see you know kind of like a Ryan Fitzpatrick type game from like 2019 or 2020 more 2019 when Fitzpatrick was efficient and then he also let the team in rushing uh but two total touchdowns for Tyler Huntley he had a quarterback rating of 115.5 and uh yeah he was I thought he was efficient and for me runner up was Tyreek Hill he had a very strong showing uh for Tyler Huntley today and uh no Keith Mike McDaniel is not going to get a game ball this week one game ball PR years’s enough he got it last week um from uh Steven Ross okay two things here before we end well one thing really um with one game left we know a lot of these teams are going to sit guys who as of today December 29th with one game left before the playoffs what is your revised superow prediction oh revised oh God I have to I have to think of who I actually had at the beginning of the year I thought I I know I had Chiefs for somebody I think I had I had Chiefs lions with the Chiefs winning so I’m still in on that one but I I want to revise mine I’ll go first since I just sort of okay go on you I’m gonna revise it I think this is the year Lamar gets over the hump in the playoffs and I’m going to go Ravens in the AFC and the NFC it’s really down to only two teams in my opinion it’s down to Lions or Eagles um what scares me about the Lions is their head coach for all the good of Dan Campbell inside of a game he does some goofy stuff sometimes that hurts his team and but I’m gonna still go Lions I’m gonna go they got a lot of injuries though I’m gonna go Ravens Lions as of right now I’m going to revise it I’m take out the Chiefs I think the Chief look the Chiefs have been fantastic this year they still got Pat Mahomes someone’s going to have to go in there and beat them in their building in a playoff spot which is not going to be easy it’s only been done once with Joe burrow um I just think this is the Ravens time and I think they’re going to get over the hump I I’d go Ravens Lions as of today I would replace the Chiefs I think at some point they’re not going to get the bounce of the ball they’re not gonna get a break if I think if I recall correctly I might have had San Francisco and Cincinnati so o that does sound right yeah I had I had that um obviously the the 49ers are having as Dreadful of a season as the Dolphins [Music] um if I’m revising it it’s so hard for me to go against Kansas City I I do agree with you on Lamar and the and the Ravens though they are going to be a very tough out and be in the addition of Derrick Henry is going to show itself in these games in January especially if they’re going to probably end up going on thead Ro to play the bills in in in the second round of the playoffs that is the derck Henry game right there that will push them potentially to Kansas City but you can’t count on Josh Allen either uh but I I think it’s going to be the Chiefs and I’m GNA go on a limb that it’s going to be a surprise team Mike it’s gonna be a surprise to many I think it’s going to be the Vikings yeah I’m crazy as it sounds I it’s not crazy because they’ played so from week one on they have probably been one of the more consistent teams in the league up there with the Chiefs so it’s not crazy I just I still find it hard to believe that that team is gonna wi Sam darnold I know I know and they deserve all the credit in the world um he probably should be Coach of the Year honestly um did they announce did they announce that game next week is the Sunday night game they haven’t announced anything yet it’s going to be Detroit Minnesota though I think they want to see what happens with Atlanta and Tampa and because I don’t know if they play next week but I know the south is up for grabs is what it’s uh um well so is the one seed in the NFC North so Atlanta plays the Panthers that obviously won’t be a Prime Time game um and the Bucks play the saint yeah yeah Tampa’s playing yeah so so those games will probably be at one um yeah I don’t know uh it’s it’s going to be the Lions and the Vikings for the division and has to be has to be has to be has to definely has to be has yeah that has to be um how many games are on Saturday none everything’s on Sunday you sure I thought there were some games on Saturday next week nope they all finish up on Sunday I’m not doubting you I just want to confirm because if we’re wrong I’m the one who gets the emails um not you I’m the one who gets the emails if I’m wrong just saying um um okay week 18 well it doesn’t even say because everything’s to be determined yeah everything’s to be determined but every game is on January 5th okay um yes that’s going to be interesting um yeah so I’m gonna I’m gonna play do the NFC stuff at one with Atlanta and Tampa that’ be one I think to do the AFC stuff at four and I think they’ll do lions Vikings Sunday night yes so I’m going to play I’m going to play NFL schedule right now Texans Titans at one o’clock Panthers Falcons at one o’clock Saints bucks at one o’clock uh depending on what happens with the Falcons and tonight’s game against the commanders uh but I have that pencil because I don’t think they’re gonna beat the commanders hold on time out you are wrong there are two games on Saturday what there’s two games on Saturday next week I’m reading right here from fl.com there’s going to be a Saturday double header in week 18 two games will be played on Saturday with the remainder of the matchups played on Sunday Pacific date and times won’t be determined until the conclusion of week 17 wouldn’t it be something that they put the two games on for Saturday be the Dolphins and the Jets and the Chiefs and the Broncos they absolutely could well they yes because then the Cincinnati game you can put whenever because then it would be well I don’t I think you’d wanted you can’t put Miami and Cincy on Saturday because if they both lose they’re in the Broncos and that game doesn’t matter you got to put the Broncos on Saturday with either Miami or Cincy because if the Broncos lose then who’s ever playing on Sunday I would do Broncos game Chiefs on Saturday I would do bangal Steelers on Saturday because no matter what happens well no because if if they win the Broncos they’re automatically in yeah so they’re gonna save that one for Sunday so yeah I wouldn’t do any of those games on Saturday then all right so s so if because all right so ESPN sucks because they have every game scheduled wrong um so if you’re gonna pick the hell’s going on with the West NFC West uh if the commanders win then the Rams lock up the playoff they lock up the division so if the commander okay so you know what you got Seahawks Rams next you got Seahawks Rams next week so if the commanders don’t win tonight you could put Rams Seahawks on Sunday night or you can do that game on a Saturday you can do that game Saturday do that game on Saturday night I do one of that game on Saturday I do Sunday night Lions Vikings lions or vice versa whatever um yeah that’s what I’d probably do that’s what I’d probably do yeah I yeah I’m I’m 100 perc with you there should be no other game the lions were probably going to steamroll the 49ers on Monday yeah you putting that game on your final game of the regular season for the one seed and the NFC North title is yeah there there’s no other way around that but you can definitely if if the commanders lose tonight you can definitely put the Seahawks and Rams on because that’s for the division as well as the potential that Washington can get eliminated yeah in that scenario as well so all right so that’s my okay so I got Ravens Lions you’re going with Chiefs and who you said I I have I have Chiefs and Vikings Chiefs and Vikings okay um next question you have a vote you have a vote um MVP Lamar Allan saquan so I’ve I am I am in the camp is if you break a regular if you break a record you deserve to be MVP so as much as it is a Quarterback Award so I’ll put that caveat out there it is a Quarterback Award I believe saquan Barkley deserves MVP if he breaks the record however because it’s a Quarterback Award I say as of now I know the books are heavy on Josh Allen I know they are heavy on Josh Allen you can’t discredit either quarterback for what they’ve done this year but I have never in my life imagined that Lamar Jackson as a thrower would be so prolific this year that’s why I would give him the edge on Josh Allen right now even I know Allen’s you know provided a better record for the bills he’s been fantastic I just can’t I’m I’m just a struck by Lamar Jackson ability as a quarterback we’ve not seen it he’s put up better numbers this year than he did last year in his MVP season so it’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out but I I give the edge to Lamar Jackson but I believe saquon Barkley deserves it if he breaks the record and he’s damn close I think he needs only like 100 yards or so0 I think something like that um I think Allen will win it but I think Lamar should win it if I had to vote I’d vote for Lamar I think and again it’s split hairs they’ve both been fantastic this year if this was the year where they actually after they took all the votes and it was aali I don’t think anyone would complain I do think it is a Quarterback Award and just how I see it and sequan you know he should you know if anyone did vote for him for first I wouldn’t be upset I mean I mean he’s clearly in the conversation but I think when it’s all said and done I think Josh Allen will win but I think Lamar Jackson should win and if I had to vote I’d vote for Lamar but yeah that’s going to be interesting as well I mean it’s the MVP I know a lot of people don’t care about that stuff but um that’s how I see it there last one I gotta ask you because I found this new show I am obsessed with and as soon as we’re done I’m going to watch it have you been watching this new show called landman no on Paramount plus but I also think it’s on Paramount the station as well Tom you got to start watching the show Billy Bob Thorton John Ham um are fantastic in it the plot the subplot this guy’s got an ex-wife I don’t know the actress’s name she used to be on the rookie the ex-wife is so entertaining it’s crazy he uh Billy Bob Thorton’s ex-wife and his 20-year-old daughter steal every scene they’re in it is like this is like Soprano’s succession level good that’s how good the show is the this is like episode seven of like season one six or seven it just came out tonight you gotta find the show if you don’t have PM Plus sign up for the five bucks a month and pay for it um you gotta watch the show it’s that good and that’s my big recommendation land man a new show every Sunday again it might be on the station Paramount I don’t know but I I know what’s on the streaming platform it is awesome like like it is awesome I’ll have to get into it I so I cancelled my Paramount plus until Tulsa King comes back because that was the show of my obsession you know just ended it just ended and you know that was my obsession show that’s a great show when we were flying to Atlanta I started watching it that’s right you did I finished the entire season before we even touch back down in Rochester after the trip ended the entire first season was done for me but this this land man I think is just as good I think this Stone’s best work Stallone’s best work yeah but this one this show is great once you see the ex-wife once you see the daughter they steal every scene it’s not a comedy but they bring a comedic element to it it’s very serious at times like again like a succession or Sopranos or something along those lines the show is just so freaking good and I want to say two things here as we wrap up because I know we’ve gone a little long rest in peace to former President Jimmy Carter ju I don’t care what your politics are just a kind sweetheart man who did so much good in the world after he got out of office just 100 years old great man so rest in peace to Jimmy Carter and also rest in peace to Greg Gumble I said this on the show the other day but I want to say it again your time because Tom and myself shared an elevator with Greg Gumble just what what last October like 13 months ago or so 14 months ago we shared and and the elevator with Greg Gumble uh just a great broadcaster sports broadcaster so rest in peace to Jimmy carer rest in peace to Greg Gumble to just good people good people again I don’t care what your politics are comes to president you respect the office so press in peace to the former president and rest in peace to Greg Gumble who you know you can’t find anyone to say a bad thing about Greg Gumble just one of the legends yeah he was he was fantastic he called a lot of big dolphins games his time in the booth him and Phil Sims were the a team for for quite some time on CBS called some Super Bowls um and in that short time on the elevator with him you and I loaded up first and as soon as uh you know we turned around he was getting on the elevator and said hello to both of us said hello how are you he had a nice little short conversation up to the to the Box uh and then he did his uh he did he did the game against Carolina last year yeah just a nice man but uh overall um sad to see both of them go but is what it is unfortunately but that’s all for this show again we got a big week coming up I think if he has any fan of the Dolphins few months back they say week 18 what’s who cares well there’s something to pay attention to now again what are they fighting for a trip to Orchard Park to probably get smacked by the bills but you know what one of these times Tom and probably a time when nobody expects it law averages we got to beat these guys once and watch it Fe this year this miserable season with Tyler Huntley a quarterback of all people F the upset of the century and that’s the only reason I want to get there just because you know the bills will take us so lightly they will Overlook us oh here comes Miami we always beat Miami maybe we maybe we catch them on an off day and it would be fun to maybe catch them on an off day absolutely it would make for all the Lo we’ve lost like what 15 of 17 to them or some crazy St like that like all all those losses would be made up with one win knocking them out of the playoffs oh my God and those Bills fans won’t be able to handle again is it a pipe dream yes especially with Tyler Huntley a quarterback it will be but that’s the only got close with Skyler Thompson I know they got close with Skyler Thompson one year but we did score that year once I think Zack sealer had touchdown and I remember saavan Howard had a pick that took the ball like down to the three and I think we I think we h a field goal in the drive if I remember correctly but still we had two short Fields um but yeah that’s kind of the only because what’s if we lose the bills Again by 50 they always beat us by 50 who cares but it’s a whole home loss that’s where exactly like everyone’s gonna expect like the point spread will be like 15 on the game who cares but oh boy it would be just so much fun um to maybe pull one off but yeah that’s where we’re waiting that’s what we’re waiting for be
