this thankgiving Thanksgiving night the Mommy dolphins just lost 30 to 17 to the Green Bay Packers Tom how you doing tonight well I enjoyed family time and Thanksgiving feast and then I had to sit down and watch the Dolphins play in prime time so other than that great great how was your Thanksgiving oh it wasn’t bad till about 8:20 and about I don’t know one minute into the game where where Miami you know special teams reared its ugly head know we got a three and out all right we got a chance no special teams uh suck the life out of the game in the first half and seriously this game we’re gonna get into it um from start to finish was a non-competitive game I know late in the game the score got close Miami was never a threat in this game um just once again failed to win in cold control early and just um led the entire way not much news from the inactive um from the inactives prior to the game Tyler Huntley is now back off IR he was the emergency quarterback today uh cam Smith left the game injured uh and also ker kou left the game injured as well so the Miami Dolphins cornerback room is a little depleted Tom we’re going to use this as a venting session I’m sure like we have after most losses this year because there’s not much from an X and0 standpoint to talk about this is more of just a fundamental issue so I will let you go first take as much time as you need get it all off your chest well I will I’ll stay relatively refin so the pipes don’t wake my kids up if I’m starting to scream um so where to start so they give up a big play on the opening kickoff get it to near Midfield Dolphins defense three and out exactly the type of start you want obviously not giving up a big special teams play um but getting the three and out I felt like okay that is a good tone Setter right getting the ball early in the game Packers couldn’t do anything with the football in their opening drive and Malik Washington God bless him he’s a rookie but every single time he is ready to return a punt he never calls for a fair catch it was windy the ball dragged on him and he muffed the punt and that completely changed every bit of complexion of the football game you could just feel and I I I felt it immediately that this game was going to get turned upside down real quick because the Dolphins fortunately this season are not a team that can come back and win football games they’re just not they’re Front Runners they get ahead yeah sure they’ll get they’ll they’ll win some football games but you’re going against a team on the road you give them the ball at the nine yard line they’re going to score a touchdown Josh Jacobs is a is a freaking bulldozzer so after that you’re punting you drive down the field you have to settle for a field goal because you know bad play calling bad execution particularly on the offensive line my God that you know Tua I believe that was the drive Tua had a fourth down conversion there was a lot of confusion back and forth false start then an offside on a field goal uh on a field goal attempt uh Tua did what he needed to do and then on the very first play you hand it off and Devon Hans losing six yards there just lack of execution like it is the same thing over and over again with this football team you get a big moment the lights are the brightest you win your playoff percentage chance shoots through the moon goes probably I think it was over like 45 or 50% they lose and now it’s back under I think 25% whatever they’re done as much as I was right in this wave winning three straight games convincingly winning games it’s done this was the this was the uh wind uh you know let this wind out of the sales type of performance by all parties involved and it starts again with Mike Daniel number one Danny Crossman why is he still here what does he actually coach this unit has not been better than 25th since he’s arrived in Miami why is he still here bonad plays Janu Smith I understand Janu Smith’s face mask got yanked guess what you can’t get ret you can’t get retaliatory because they call it on the retaliatory and not on the initial lost 15 yards setting the team back it was just underwhelming back to normal in regards of penalties they were very disciplined penalty wise over the last four weeks everything has been smooth sailing and it all falls off the rails now let’s talk about the quarterback okay is two a blame for what happened tonight yeah I give him some partial blame I don’t think he’s the problem tonight I think he played fairly well he was missing throws in the first half and then he came alive in the second half climbing the pocket making throws great then they had the chance right they’re back in it they’re down 16 first and goal from the one yardline and you didn’t score now is that Tua yes he’s the quarterback he handles the football execution was not there why is Mike McDaniel not running the ball four consecutive times from the one yard line why are you getting cute with play action passes get Alec Engel in the football game and just try to run it up the middle you have athletic running backs you had a guy last year that scored 21 touchdowns he’s sitting on the bench in that moment you’re running the smaller back in Devon Anan in that moment you bring in your Powerhouse running back and moster I don’t care that he’s fumbled in previous weeks you put him in there and you let him run at four straight times your chances of getting into the end zone is far far better with someone like that on the football field you score there it’s a different game but then you let the Packers go down drain clock kick a field goal and your season’s over I don’t care about the garbage time touchdowns I don’t care about the garbage time stats on the final possession where they scored this uh the second touchdown of the game I don’t care it is the same story over and over again the team is soft it’s under 30 degrees they looked terrible last thing I will say Anthony Weaver put on some damn tackling tape and teach these guys how to tackle how many Miss tackles did they have tonight 13 14 Miss tackles it is a joke it’s an absolute joke that we had to sit here and watch them crumble again in front of our eyes on a short week they did it in week two against the bills who have owned their ass for the past seven years and now you go into Lambo on a short week after winning at home with your season really on the in balance and you poop the bed you poop the bed same old Dolphins baby yeah um never changes and you know every year in late November on your TV you’re going to see Rudolph the rednose reindeer A Charlie Brown Christmas Frosty the Snowman and the Miami Dolphins losing to good teams in big games you can set it like clockwork nobody beats up on bad teams like Mike McDaniel and Tua and nobody shits the bed in cold weather and vers good teams like Mike McDaniel and Tua this game was over at halftime I cannot take a lot of what happened in the second half seriously Miami was never a threat in this game to take a lead or to make it close um they just weren’t um and honestly the cold was not even a factor tonight in this game Miami just didn’t show up Mike McDaniel never has his team ready for a big game ever sloppy unprepared and in all three phases of the game special teams had three huge mistakes in the first half alone the running game is non-existent the offensive line is SCE it was is soft Tron Armstead got abused tonight looks like someone who is probably playing his last few games in the NFL he was awful and I don’t want to hear the excuse he was hurt he hasn’t practice in a few weeks he’s always hurt he never practices so that’s not an excuse for him Armstead was brutal Tua was okay he he was okay but we didn’t pay $250 million for okay and that’s the problem to a rarely plays well in these big in these big games and in the first half when we the first half is when this game was won or lost he missed a ton of wide open guys and if you’re one of those fans who are just going to post his stats and say not his fault not his fault and absolve him of any blame you’re just telling me you don’t understand football and you’re an idiot because I’m not saying he’s the biggest problem but he’s part of the problem and he damnn sure ain’t the solution and he damn sure ain’t a $250 million quarterback that’s a fact Jack but the reality and the big story from this game is Mike McDaniel he’s not a serious head coach his teams are never prepared and I don’t know how you overcome that as a head coach if you cannot prepare your teams for big games against good teams or just to beat good teams you either can prepare him or you can’t it’s year three there’s no more excuses if he hasn’t learned by now now odds are he ain’t going to learn he is holding this organization back even with the injuries that’s a talented team we saw tonight from Mi there’s a lot of Talent on that field you got guys who are GNA be wearing gold jackets someday and Canton saying long speeches and we can’t be good teams he isn’t a head coach some guys aren’t not hating just dating he’s just bad at his job he might be a halfway decent offensive coordinator he’s never been one before until he got to Miami but I know he ain’t a head coach and I know the Kool-Aid drinkers will defend him and spin this and come up with BS excuses you but here’s a long and short of it these are facts we don’t win divisions we don’t win playoff games we can’t be good teams and he sticks with Danny Crossman no matter how bad the special teams play year after year month after month week after week and I know people will say well Danny Crossman can’t catch the ball for Washington yeah if that was the only special team special teams mistake we see um in a game um or like every few weeks you know it’s all the time he had three mistakes in the first half Lo opening kickoff long return you had the punt and then you and then you had a block in the B I mean just awful on special teams and if Mike McDaniel does not have the balls to fight you’re a bad coordinator and he can’t prepare his teams to beat good teams we’re just spinning our wheels in the mud here folks we’re doing nothing fourth and four fourth and four Mike McDaniel standing next to the referee they’re standing shoulder toosh shoulder we get a delay of game call timeout you’re the head coach the referee standing next year you just gotta yell timeout and we get a delay a game on Fourth and four what the [ __ ] are we doing like serious this is common sense stuff football 101 stuff now here’s the deal I know they won’t fire Mike McDaniel after this season but we have to face reality as fans we we have a poor head coach who is not going to bring us a division title or a Super Bowl probably he’s just not a head coach in this league and you know spoilers here’s spoilers Miami is gonna beat up on the Jets and Browns but they’re going to get embarrassed versus Houston on the road and they’ll probably lose to San Francisco at home and I know fans of the Dolphins once we beat up on the Jets starting next week they’re going to pump out their chest and celebrate and talk trash and go online and troll fans and talk like tough guys Mike McDaniel go out and crack some jokes there’ll be a miked up moment where Mike McD’s going to be so funny and F oh I’m so happy he’s my head coach I’m so happy they were going to go to Houston and get our doors blown off and we’re gonna go through the same cycle again he’s not a serious head coach he’s not good at his job we’re going nowhere with him they’re not firing him look I I I kind of hope they would or or will it ain’t happening Chris Greer’s not getting fired Mike McDaniel’s not getting fir I’m not going to waste time talking about it but as long as he’s the head coach of this team we ain’t going where folks we are a middle of the pack 8 n 10 win team maybe get a six or seven seed and probably out in round one and this year we’re not even going to get that far probably because I don’t think we’re making the playoffs after tonight but this is all on the head coach this is 100% on the head coach everything went wrong because of the head coach and this is all on him the to piggy back off of you uh 100% they’re not firing Mike McDaniel because the general manager is not going to get fired he’s also part of the issue right now with the dolphins and I can this is It’s November 28th Thanksgiving night I am putting it out there right now I will put it in permanent marker that in the off season not only is everybody gonna be here the Dolphins are gonna take their first round pick and flip it for a veteran player from another team I will put it in writing right now because once again the window the window is open for the Miami Dolphins and the general manager is going to do what he needs no window there’s no window St no no they believe it’s a window they might believe it yeah they believe it’s the window the general manager is going to use draft picks to acquire veteran players just as he always does because he’s going to find a way to try to keep his job but because this is a 2025 or bus next year no matter what because of how all these contracts have been laid out the Miami Dolphins are going to be spinning their wheels they’re gon to probably give us our yearly hope they’re going to start maybe stronger than they did this year and then we get to November and December early January and they’re going to do exactly what they did tonight and that is [ __ ] their pants on Prime Time against a quality opponent this is the Miami Dolphins until changes are made and it starts at the top once that changes we’ll see where this thing goes but I’m just forewarning everybody that nice first round draft pick the Dolphins are going to have they’re not going to be using it on a young player it’s going to go to another team putting in writing right now I don’t even know if they trade it but here’s the deal he’s still going to stick to his strategy that doesn’t work of you only got to draft premium position gu so he’ll draft a corner or he’ll draft a wide receiver because you know tail and Wadd aren’t enough and we’re going to be weak at Guard we’re going to be weak at nose tackle we’re probably going to be weak at safety when Holland leaves um it’s like he won’t fill a hole he just going to keep drafting premium position guys and like it’s it’s this is why you know some fans of the Dolphins in this fan base just drive me up a wall and I read some of the stuff they say and hear how they talk and stuff and you know stuff it’s like do you want to root for a winner at some point in your life or do you just want to live in this Groundhog Day of Hell rooting for this team it’s like you don’t it’s like you don’t expect more you don’t ask for more you just oh I’m okay Chris Greer Chris Greer’s cooking Chris Greer ain’t cooking nothing Chris Greer has been a failure since he’s been to GM and this is just a disaster in South Florida um you know it’s not working this team needs two new guards you gotta hope Patrick Paul can be a left tackle and on the other side line Campbell’s 38 gonna be 39 probably won’t be here and you also need a nose tackle and until you can fill those spots and not be a soft team which everyone in the world knows because former players go around and say it until that happens uh we’re going nowhere and even if we did fill all those holes we have a head coach who can’t prepare a team Mike we got uh we got a super chat this is just as pointless just Jets keeping Rogers learn to reset Tom is right though too many people trying to save jobs to do what’s right here’s the other genius move Mike McDaniel did we’re down 30 to 17 with under a minute to go the game’s over just either take a knee turn in hand off he’s having his quarterback drop back and try to throw why I don’t know you’re not you’re not going to win this game and he taking hits what 25 seconds 30 seconds left why do you want to see him get hurt again do you want to see him get the game’s over Mike you blew the game in the first half you’re not going to win in the final 25 seconds having your quarterback drop back on meaningless plays he doesn’t get it he just doesn’t get it he’s not a head coach and you know it it’s unfortunate Everyone likes the guy you know he’s personality not a head coach not a head coach I’m sorry just not um thank you Jason by the way yeah thank you Jason very much much um and yes to anyone who does send in a Super Chat we will read them on the air as long as it’s respectful and all that good stuff um he’s just some guys are career coordinators he’s a career coordinator can’t manage a team can’t manage a game don’t know how to manage a game it’s year three there’s no more excuses for this stuff it’s year three you either got it or you don’t what we saw today from the Bears and Eber Flo at the end of the game was probably the worst coaching male practice I’ve seen in a long long time him taking delay a game at Fourth and four stand next to the ref is a close second I mean you’re the head coach you run the offense you call the plays are you not paying attention to the game happening literally in front of you with a referee standing shoulder-to-shoulder just go timeout we can’t even do that it’s just it’s an utter disaster um you know I know some fans are going to say well we lost to an NFC team we’re not out of it yet Colts might lose people say the Colts are mid what the hell you think we are folks this season even if they’re not I’ve said you know pretty much since September when he got hurt they’re not making the playoffs I know it’s kind of been fun when we get some nice wins versus you know the Patriots and the Raiders who stink and then the Rams who didn’t show up um but we can’t beat good teams I mean I don’t know how many we can’t be good teams and it’s frustrating to watch because this team has even with no chub no Phillips and all these in injuries not well there’s not there’s actually not that many more there’s not that many injuries right now they still can’t be and it’s not like the Packers played great tonight we gifted them a touchdown the first five minutes of the game they did not play that great now they ran the ball great but outside of that they really didn’t play that great and this was a winnable game for Miami if they don’t just like not show up for three quarters is what they did and they put up some stats late in this game when the game was already over and I know there’s going to be a segment of fans are going to run to that look at the stats look at the stats okay look at the stats you want to run to stat sheets and think that show that shows me you have no idea what you’re actually watching every game if you just run to a stat sheet because I watched the first half of this game and the Miami Dolphins couldn’t move the ball he’s missing wide open receivers by a mile they couldn’t run the ball special teams blunders can’t tackle no pass rush that’s the game just because you complete a couple passes when the Packers take their foot off the gas a little don’t mean didly poo no it you know I don’t want you to play the video Mike but the offensive line you said you you said it tonight Armstead actually looked his age Armstead has been the game one I’m too he he has been phenomenal all season but I don’t know if his body can handle under 30 degree weather he he looked like he was all of 32 years old tonight he truly did um leam mikenberg still can’t block Robert Jones was on his ass most of the the night there was so much interior pressure like I I don’t know how many times when I unfortunately have to go back and rewatch it um how many times Tua is climbing up in the pocket because there’s pressure there so damn fast and then you have again the analytical guys saying the Dolphins have a seventh ranked pass blocking uh you know offensive line by what standard it’s the quarterback that is masking the errors on the off offensive line most of the time but the Packers were sending you know delayed blitzes they were sending you know they were just rushing four guys up front and the Miami Dolphins tackles tonight especially could not handle it Kendall lamb looks like he’s already halfway retired uh they both want to retire and Miami brought him back now look they did draft Patrick Paul so he is a future I give him credit for actually having a little foresight there now I don’t know if he’s going to be any good but at least I give him credit for having some foresight for once in their miserable lives yeah I I here’s the thing to there’s a lot there’s a lot to address that’s why you know the PFF and the analytics of the world why it’s all [ __ ] last week Tua played pretty much a spectacular game and he got some low PFF grade I don’t even know what the number was cuz I don’t even pay attention it was like under it was like 66 or something like that and like just watch the game you know he played pretty much a Flawless game last week and he gets a low PFF grade like doesn’t make any sense can have a high PFF grave tomorrow exactly well that that’s that’s exactly what’s G but here’s the other thing those you know offensive line rankings from PFF and the other analytics companies they don’t factor in who the hell you’re playing when you’re playing the Raiders and the Patriots Yeah the numbers look great and all this stuff but what have we said pretty much for the past three years since Mike McDaniel got here which is pretty much when tua’s career kind of started honestly um when he play the good teams he’s can’t get rid of it in 2.7 seconds whatever it is 2.4 seconds he’s going to need an extra second or two because the teams are good and to beat the good teams you got to give them that extra second or two because no quarterback can just get rid of it in under three seconds all the time versus no matter who the opponent is the opponent matters and just like when you play the Chiefs just like when you play the Eagles just like when you play the bells two up I I know the stats look good tonight again A lot of it was in junk time when the game didn’t matter at the end but in the first half when he didn’t have that extra second he’s high he’s left he’s throwing at their feet he he needed the extra second or two and he never gets it when you play good defenses because the offensive line is always trash but you got people who just don’t understand football and just think it’s a math equation or run to PFF ESPN nextg stats whatever your analytic Services of choice and just Oh see it’s good you don’t no it’s not good you don’t know football you don’t know what you’re watching you’re just run into numbers that you know are trying to fit your narrative and and anyone can spin numbers to make them say whatever they want but watch the game we never beat good teams and that’s why they they that offensive line can never give him that extra second he needs or two vers good teams yeah vers you know the Jets versus the Giants vers the Patriots the Raiders you got all time in the world don’t matter but you know there it is the alltime quote right there yeah I can only you’re more worried about it than we are oh we got another Super Chat oh this one um put up Paul’s comment absolutely thank you Paul thanks Paul thank you Paul how long will stepen Ross wait to respect better he’s 80 years old and he’s done everything he can to win he must be pissed off well you know what I can’t get in Steven Ross’s head in his heart but I would be I would be look I know money’s not an issue for him in his life and he’s you know not to be morbid about this he’s closer to the end than the beginning um I want to I wouldn’t have the patience he’s having now I do know just look I don’t know Steven Ross never spoke to him but from people who have a good feel of him um you know he doesn’t who likes to fire anybody who wants to go through the process of of having to hire anybody it’s not a fun process especially in the NFL where it’s so public and you know everything is just with a under a microscope he doesn’t want to go through it again I don’t blame him I would NE and he just gave Mike Mel a big money extension but you know again money’s not an issue for him so if he wanted to move on he could I just don’t think he wants to I think and plus if you move on from him you’re essentially moving on from the quarterback because we know the quarterback and this head coach are tied at the hip and I don’t know if this quarterback can have have success under any other head coach which says a lot about each of them honestly not just one or the other but they’re going to sink or swim together we’re going to move on from not just move on from one they’re G to move on from both of them together it ain’t GNA be this offseason maybe it’s the next offseason I don’t know um but that’s the situation we’re in and as a fan you’re frustrated because I’m frustrated because you want to go into a year like in certain years like 2019 we knew we weren’t going to be good we knew we weren’t going to be good it’s a rebuilding year your expectations are low and you know what you’re getting into but last year this year next year that’s not our expectations we want to see a competitive team you know maybe not win to Super Bowl that might be asking a lot East get a home playoff game win a playoff game stuff like that with this guy’s a head coach folks that’s never happening I hate you know you’re being so negative folks it’s never happening week two vers the bills tonight watch against Houston I can tell you how it’s going to end how did it end last year in Philly Kansas City twice the bills twice we just don’t beat these teams we how’ it go versus the Ravens late in year last year and you can’t run to the injury excuse every time because this team you know chub hasn’t been here all year so that’s not going to count um Jaylen Phillips has been out for a few months that’s not going to count and who I mean who’s really hurt that you know hurts this team it ain’t all on Kendall Fuller I’ll say that this team is just it’s not injuries this year it wasn’t injuries tonight they just aren’t that good or they don’t show up for his good teams that’s all no what I what I’ll say here Paul is uh like anybody nobody wants to admit their faults no one wants to admit their mistakes there is Big Money extensions handed out across the board in the off season the biggest ones of them all are the head coach and the quarterback you’re not going to MIT fault you’re not going to get rid of the quarterback this off season the money doesn’t make any sense unless you fire everybody then it makes sense but even then you’re not going to field any sort of competitive team next year and now we have to wait more more you know time and with his age being where it is he’s not ready for that so it’s 2025 next year he’s going to tell Chris Greer most likely Chris Greer that do what you got to do we got to get this done so like like I said don’t enjoy that currently the 14th overall pick in the draft that’s going somewhere else yeah well you want to get to some of this game here real quick we’re not going to I mean we’re going to move quick through this game here because like I said the first half was as bad half I mean that first half was I mean that was embarrassing that first half I mean I don’t know H how a team can not be how they can stand at a Podium not every player but the head coach the quarter back you know most of the key players can stand at a Podium Monday Tuesday and Wednesday they talk about killing narratives killing narratives we’re going to kill narratives and then come on on Thursday and play like that in the first half yeah that is the part that just makes you scratch your head yeah fight yeah I don’t even I don’t even believe the weather was even an issue tonight because it was there’s zero issue with the weather okay it’s cold great doesn’t matter that cold it doesn’t matter right I wish it was colder um the uh the Packers uh open up with the football get a five uh get a one-yard run from Jacobs false start second and 14 I’m third and 14 the reason I want to bring this drive up in particular Zack sealer once again hit the quarterback the ball flutters sideways out of his hand and ruled incomplete two consecutive weeks I know it’s the letter of the law mic but God damn man a fumbles a fumble yeah I mean look if the ball comes out of his hand and it’s a natural throw great but if it comes out and it’s spinning sideways that means he lost control of the ball that’s it I know again there’s too many rules a fumbles many rules but either way there’s just too many rules but it is what it is I mean it’s the right call but it was heck of a play was that I mean this was the highlight if you’re a dolphins fan this was the highlight of the game the first series three and out that was the highlight of the game because once they got to Fourth and 14 in the punt it all went downhill and the game was pretty much over correct because Malik Washington muffs the catch didn’t even try to fair catch just try to make a play on it and there’s already two Packers guys waiting for the football right there I don’t understand why he doesn’t understand and if you’re watching on YouTube do this it’s easy call for the fair catch that’s all you got to do especially at the 10 yard line or let it go get out of the way called kill kill kill get out of the way let the Packers down it let it bounce into the end zone whatever it is you can’t do that especially on the road and the Packers made the Dolphins pay uh with a three- yard touchdown pass from Jordan love to Jaden Reed uh Dolphins punted Packers get a long touchdown drive that was capped off by a Josh Jacobs one-yard touchdown run it is already 14 to nothing uh Dolphins open up the second quarter driving get to the Packers 25 yd line fourth and four going for it you said it at the top Mike delay game with Mike McDaniels standing right there now you’re pushing it back to Fourth and nine and the Packers jumped off side to make it fourth and four which by the way Jason Sanders made that kick um but goes back to Fourth and floor and Tua climbs a pocket finds Jaylen Wadd streaking over the middle for 16 yards and a first down get it to the Packers nine and from there a six-yard loss from Devon hn uh incomplete passes from Tua on second and third and Jason Sanders hits a 33 yard field goal uh we already talked about it a little bit in depth there uh but I do want to make note that was a good play by Tua on the fourth and four yeah it was a nice play um I mean finally getting the wide receivers involved that’s the field goal on the drive I mean it’s just it’s so frustrating in that you know um we go from fourth and four to a first and goal at the nine and you have to kick a field goal from the 15 yeah um it’s like even when you get a first turn goal you’re moving backwards it’s just I don’t know some something’s not working that’s all I’m GNA say so if Packers get the ball um of course they’re going to start from their 38 yard line uh after a punt uh from Jake Bailey of whopping 44 yards from the Dolphins 18 yard line terrific um Chris Brooks remember him yeah oh he got 18 yards on uh one one run uh then Jordan love to Christian Watson for 21 uh there was a penalty on cam Smith for defensive pass interference uh at the Dolphins 20 yard line Chris Brooks got another reception for five yards they get it down to the 12 and again Jaden Reed reception from Jordan love and the Packers now up 21-3 the Dolphins next possession they have it fourth and five from the 38 and this is where you know one of those throws that Tua is supposed to hit naturally hits sailed one on Devon Anan who is open over the middle of the field and then the Packers with a whopping 22 seconds left drove to the Dolphins 27 yd line and was able to hit a field goal and we have reached halftime uh 24 to three it was utter embarrassment to where that first half went and it all started with special teams blunders Mike yeah and this game was over right here 24-3 again I know the Dolphins put up some yards and put up some points in the second half again much like when the Patriots scored last week and took the game down to like a 15-point deficit the Patriots were never a threat to take the lead against us the Raiders the week before at one point got a little like around 15 16 got a little close they were never a threat Miami they got it down to 16 and one point Miami was never a threat this was a the second half of this game literally the Packers were on cruise control just killing clock and Miami yeah they put up yards they put up touchdowns the entire second half from Miami was garbage time they were never a threat in this game this game was over at halftime because the Dolphins literally didn’t show up Mike McDaniel could have took the week off spent time with his family at home not even steep foot in the facility at Miami Gardians and they couldn’t have played worse in the first half than they did today with him trying all week and showing up and actually working I mean that’s how receive the second half kickoff and immediately go three and out after a delay game penalty once again on Third and three makes it third and eight and then two a in complete to Odell Beckham a 53 yard punt from Jake Bailey I almost fainted uh but the Packers get a uh 24 yard field goal as the drive stall out at the Dolphins six Dolphins finally get a touchdown drive a play eight play 70 yards 459 off the clock started with a moster run for 26 yards that was called back for offensive holding on Tyreek Hill you know when you read Hill you immediately assume Julian because of course uh Tua then goes to jonu Smith for 13 yards on First and eight uh and he fumbled the ball out of bounds uh given Miami at least a break in this game uh after a one yard run and eight- yard completion o Mal Washington Raheem moer goes for no gain on fourth and one from the Packer 46 two of found jnu Smith for 16 yards then Jaylen Wadd for 16 yards and from the 14 yard line a nice pass to Devon aan kind of the same play they ran against the Patriots last week where wall was set up and Anan did the rest and the two-point conversion another great throw on that one to jayen Wadd and the Dolphins at least have a little bit of life because Mike they forced a punt on their next Drive yeah only took them only took them what three and a half quarters but we got there we got there finally uh unfortunately this is where it it fell apart the Dolphins get the ball um starting at their 18 yd line Tyreek Hill gets into the action with 13 yard reception a three yard run for moer makes it second and seven uh a penalty for encroachment makes it second and two and then aan picks up the first down on a reception Tua then hits Tyreek Hill for 24 yards uh then the big play on Third and six from the Packers 30 Odell Beckham Jr with a reception for nine yards and a first down twoa then goes to jayen Wadd for 12 yards to the nine hn gets eight yards on the first uh carry from the nine it is second in goal no gain for Devon H and third and goal Tua incomplete to Janu Smith and fourth down Tua was sacked uh because even with Liam mikenberg holding they still couldn’t hold the Packers pass rush back uh and once that happened Mike the game was really dead as the Dolphins had their chance and completely blow it because why not you know why pass it after you just picked up eight yards on first and goal yeah I mean look I’m done trying to make sense of this guy I I mean I know in San Francisco he was a run game coordinator never called plays before and I know if once again if you look at the analytics and you look at the numbers yes the offense has clearly improved since he’s been in Miami I’m not going to be that dumb to say it hasn’t but again beating up on bad teams he add a lot of these numbers and when you get some games like last year the games they lost versus the good teams I think we only got to 20 points once once Y and this year the Bills game you know that was a joke obviously I mean that that was another game big game was over by halftime this game here tonight um we just don’t beat good teams I mean it’s like so you can run all the stat cheat you want and tell me this that and the other um if you know football you just know we get pushed around and we can’t execute his offense does not work or be executed versus good teams it just doesn’t work there every first off everyone’s caught on to it like even like the Raiders and to like they’ve even caught on to like how to slow it down and take away Hill and all that stuff so he’s he’s had to adjust his offense which is fine that’s what smart coaches do I will give him that but they’ve taken something away and you think he doesn’t have another chess move he’s got he’s a one-trick pony and when we play the teams that have actual talent with a head coach who knows what the hell he’s doing uh we just we don’t do anything and um there’s count examples this is one more we’re going to throw on that list and in a couple weeks when you travel to Houston that’s going to be another one yep um Packers get a field goal after the Dolphins could not get in from the one yard line uh it makes it 30 to 11 the Dolphins get a garbage time touchdown on a pass to Tyreek Hill uh the two-point conversion failed the Dolphins forced a punt and then as you mentioned at the top of the show with the game completely out of reach Tu is still dropping back and yeah game over 30 to 17 Miami and if you spam the chat you’re getting banned thanks Packers Fan I mean it’s okay if you put it up once because you’re a fan of their team I don’t care you can come in and listen to us but you you don’t have to keep putting up the same comment four or five times okay but most people don’t care about that because they’re listening in audio um let’s get to the team stats um not you know numbers look good it’s just they’re inflated uh for the second half meaningless Point yards in time 21 first downs to 19 for the Dolphins four for uh four for 14 on third down and three for five on fourth down the Packers five of 11 on third down Dolphins ran 65 total plays to the Packers 53 dolphins 375 total yards of offense to the Packers 388 10 total drives for the Packers nine for the Dolphins 7.3 yards per play for Green Bay and 5.8 for the Dolphins Jordan love was 21 of 28 for 274 yards averaged nearly 10 yards per attempt uh had a couple touchdown passes and did not throw any interceptions for Dolphins quarterback Tu a Tong of ioa 37 of 46 that is not recipe for Success no balance 365 yard 7.9 yards per attempt two touchdowns no interceptions sacked five times for 29 total yards lost and he had 11 14.2 quarterback rating on the stat sheet uh rushing the Dolphins only ran it 14 times for 39 yards this is now what game four we’ve set it theyve set it consistently it’s soon as Austin Jackson went down the Run game went down with it pitiful performance on the ground only 2.8 yards per carry Packers 25 for 114 at 4.6 Dolphins made the red zone four times only cashed twice the Packers made him five times cashed in three penalties Dolphins 10 for 75 yards worst performance I think they’ve this is the most penalties in they’ve been around five or less five six games and I think they had a combine 10 in their last three games so this was just undisciplined performance uh the Packers had seven for 44 time of possession 3304 for the Dolphins and 2656 for the Packers well this is where we give out game balls Mike well look I’m not giving one to the quarterback who put up a bunch of stats at the end of the game when you know I mean again he’s not the he’s part of the reason we lost it’s like there’s a lot of reasons we lost but he’s not the main reason I get it but I’m not giving him credit for a bunch of stats when the game was pretty much over um all the running backs did nothing jnu Smith had another big game but he had a dumb penalty in the first half defense you know I’m giving it to Jake freaking Bailey 48.7 yard average special teams was a mess but he wasn’t give and we cramp on Jake a lot I’m giving him a game ball today for the because I can’t give it to no one on offense I’m not giving to anyone on defense Jak Bailey actually showed up and did his job all right uh um and if you want to give it to him too go for it Jesus um I’m GNA give my game Paul to the Dolphins fans for putting up with this nonsense every single season you guys deserve it as much as anybody else you know Mike and I we’re fans of the team we have this platform we’re able to sit here and talk about it uh on this platform we are so happy you’re all here Dolphins fans you get my game Paul because it’s the same old dolphins and we get to live this nonsense for the rest of this season for five more games and then we have a nice long off season of question marks it’s gonna be great but we love you guys thank you stick with us because we’re gonna look misery loves company we’re all going to get through this together we’ll all get through the offseason together look there’s still a handful of games left we still got two games versus Jets those are always interesting um the Houston s Fran game we’ll be able to see if any more narratives can be killed which we’re going to have the same rhetoric in about I don’t know 10 days or so 14 days we’re going to hear all the same talk and at this point the talk is cheap um so stick with us we’ll have fun and look every Wednesday night I tell jokes not try to come up with more funnier jokes and filthier jokes at wor you’ll get jokes out of me every Wednesday night but um got a Bills fan in here now that’s awesome um you can stay don’t don’t throw him out that’s that’s okay I’m not touching it it’s fine okay um but yeah it’s uh it’s just unfortunate Mike McDaniel after the game one of the so he was ask about all the injuries um ker Co who has a back injury they have to do more tests fine that L that looks horrible I hope he’s okay Cam Smith has a dislocated shoulder it probably ends his season um and this was the this is a funny one Tom what’s today’s date now it’s November 29th okay he said Kendall Fuller will be back in December Jesus Mike you know that’s in like two days okay it’s like when’s he coming back in December say is he like a week or two away is he like a month away I mean I know they don’t want to share nothing but when you’re on November 28th November 29th whatever you he’ll be back in December well geez thanks for the insight there really cleared that up I’m sure that’s what whoever asked you that question was asking um it’s like just it’s not funny anymore um it’s not fun it’s not funny and that’s a deep cut for people who know a certain show um but yeah we got to talk sha Barrett too Miami Dolphins said till four o’clock today or on Thursday um to either put sha Barrett on the team or or not and they said nope we’re good and they’re not going to cut him either so sha Barrett won’t play football in 2024 because Miami could cut him and then you could sign with anybody but I think look I don’t know what they’re thinking honestly as I said when this first happens I don’t think they want to upset the apple cart because had into this game the pass is playing actually pretty well it’s like why are we gonna throw a guy into the mix now didn’t make any sense that’s number one and number two you know I don’t know how Petty they are but he did screw them and retire on the Eva training camp which again I know everything to happen with his family I get it I’m not judging but if you’re going to pull that move you’re gonna pull that move then you can’t expect the team you’re going to pull it on to be you know understanding four months later when you want to play they be like you left us in a bind you left us in a alert or whatever term you want to use and uh we’re not going to help you out now sorry um you can sign next offseason as a free agent you’re out there um go ahead sign with anybody you want then but right now we’re not helping you and I understand it um after this game I don’t think it matters anyways but um and I think what we’re going to start to it won’t happen this week because I know at the podium after the game I saw that Kay Campbell said he’s he told the team 10 and seven is still possible and to get to 10 and seven means you have to win them all there’s no more losses here I don’t think that’s happening but again if they were to get upset first to Jets or after they after they lose to Houston which I know I’m saying is a fact because again it’s just going to happen um do they release Campbell then and give him a chance to sign with some other team I you know per the uh Miami Herold reporting and the Omar Kelly reporting out there um it sounds like it could happen and it might happen and again I have no problem with that the guy’s 38 going on he’ll be 39 by next September probably is his last year and if he wants to play again next year he can always resign here as a free agent um then so letting him go when Miami is like officially eliminated from the playoffs does not make me upset in the least yeah um I was perfectly fine with the move uh number one the fact that they had no communication him and Drew rosenhouse had no communication with a team that he even wanted to come back was terrible decision making on their end number two when you put the team in a pinch to make that decision of course they’re going to say no right he gave him he gave him basically 48 hours they in my opinion I think they went into this thing thinking we’ll do it and then the Dolphins will just cut cut me right but they didn’t so that sends a message and sha Barrett can take his signing bonus and enjoy it you know enjoy your time with your family you know you didn’t provide anything to the football team you sign a paycheck and screwed them over so they’re just reciprocating what you did yeah and here’s the thing too um the other factor in this and I know all players do it and I’m not faulting him for doing it because maybe at the time he didn’t know he was going to retire he pitted Miami and the Jets against each other to get his as much money as they could which any player when they’re on the open market that’s what they should do I’m not knocking them for doing that but if you’re going to P the jet against Miami to get more money out of Miami than sign here and then quit on them when it’s like you know we could have paid you less if you weren’t sure you know you didn’t have to get us into a bidding war um so we had to pay you more so we paid you more um we gave you what you wanted we gave you the highest offer out of 32 teams and you quit on us so you know that probably did rub Chris que the wrong way they probably did rub Mike McDaniel the wrong way they probably did rub Brandon short like all those people in front of the wrong way and it should have I mean I get again I’m understandable to his situation with his child everyone is we’re all understandable but there is the business aspect of this of you know these guys are fighting for their jobs they’re trying to win games and you left them high and dry so we’re not going to bend over backwards so yeah that was a weird situation um Jordan Brooks after the game you don’t hear this from a player talking about his own team um Jordan Brooks says that the Miami Dolphins were soft tonight now is that breaking news no anyone with two eyes and watching the game knows we were soft but when a player on a team calls out his teammate saying we were soft he’s counting himself in there as well um and he also said that they allowed the elements to be a factor I think that’s an easy excuse to say but once again he was out there playing on me and if you know if these guys just literally freeze up and I don’t mean freeze up it’s just like become statues when they have to play in a little cold weather or a little bit of snowflakes dropping um you got to cut the team at that I mean find out who those players are and just run them out and start drafting guys from like the big time I don’t I mean I don’t know what else to do because you play in the AFC East you play in the AFC and in this era we’re in of 2024 the good teams are the Bills the Chiefs the Ravens the you know if the great teams were the Colts and Houston and Jacksonville we have nothing to worry about because all the playoff games would probably be in Florida or inside a dome or if it was the Chargers but those aren’t the good teams right now the good teams are up north and you know even throw Pittsburgh in there Pittsburgh the Ravens the bills the Chiefs those are the good teams and you’re gonna have to win th win versus those games not just this year in the next three to five years so if this team is put Jordan Brooks if you take him at his word and you know that they let the elements be a factor and that they’re soft and the co um Brooks also believe that that the team allowed the cold to be a factor so he’s just pretty much saying all the quiet part out loud if that’s the case run off those players who literally can’t play in the cold and bring in guys like I said from Wisconsin Iowa Michigan and Ohio State in a draft I guess because you gotta have some toughness of people who know how to play Outdoors um yeah it is what it is said the quiet part out loud he said the Jordan Brook said the quiet part out loud period here’s you know when it comes comment he’s right here too Craig you’re right it is a l it’s a lame excuse because coach Haven prepared both teams play in it doesn’t matter um the comments of soft you know they’re trying to arm tackle on defense the offensive line can’t block you know it’s the same song and dance but the Miss tackles tonight were inexcusable they were getting push pushed around by D Devonte Wicks or whatever his name was he caught a ball over the middle and eight Dolphins players couldn’t bring him down eight Dolphins players couldn’t bring him down it’s inexcusable that’s the soft nature of what he’s saying they did not play physical brand of football on either side of the ball they didn’t run the ball 14 times is inexcusable I understand the game’s getting a little bit Out Of Reach in the first quarter but you can’t just sit there and and expect quarterback to throw 46 times and win the football game that’s not how this team is built it never has yeah so again it’s it it’s the same story over and over again you know I I would imag you know figure out a way in your little stupid bubble that you have granted very beautiful place figure out a way that you can simulate 30° weather and practices figure it out take the team to the North Pole in the off season and make them practice there get figure it out do something that could be better than what we’re seeing especially in these cold weather games now do they have more cold weather games they certainly do they have the Browns and they have the Jets to finish the season whoop they do both those teams think whether factor in neither of those games I don’t think those games are going to matter so no they’re not gonna they’re not gonna here’s the deal but it’s the same song so I just saw the video Jordan Brooks say this Chris Perkins put out the video um if Mike McDaniel’s back next year which he will be if Chris we’s back next year which he will be Jordan Brooks will not be here next year this comment is going to get him run out of town and he signed a three-year deal but after this year there’s a one-year out clause where it’s um 6.7 to dead cap and this guy just made him look bad by saying what he said so I’d be very look it’s November 29th as we’re are now recording this past midnight I’d be I’m just early prediction I’d be very surprised if Jordan Brooks is here next year because he just threw everyone under the bus here here’s the here’s the thing though that’s the type of move to show you that you’re a soft organization yeah soft ass organization especially if you cut a guy that clearly that clearly is a leader on that football team and is calling out his teammates for being soft he’s calling out the coaches for being soft that’s the type of guy you want in Miami that’s not the type of guy you want to cut because he hurt your feelings it’s they’re gonna run him off they’re gonna run I promise you they run him off um they run off a lot of people they run off a lot of people in South Florida that don’t kiss the ring that don’t bend the knee and I think we’ll see that comment might get him run off but again we’ll talk about that in the offseason but I think that’s enough we just went an hour and pretty much roasted everybody but they deserve to be roasted on this Thanksgiving I hope everyone did have a good Thanksgiving though um but you know again I said this on 560 WQ this week with Zack Rance when we were talking about this game and stuff in general and talking about you know positive versus negative the whole social media IDI idiotic oh you’re negative oh you’re positive so stupid I I told them I’m an Umpire I call balls and Strikes when it’s good I say it’s good when it’s bad I say it’s bad if it’s a strike I say it’s a strike if it’s a ball I say it’s a ball that that’s our job here we’re on players just for fans of the team we want to see the fans we want to see the team win but at the end of the day we cannot come as always say don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining we have to call what we saw and what we see and what we saw tonight on this Thanksgiving night was a team from Miami tra who has won three in a row and is fighting for their life to get into the playoffs go into Lambo field and literally not show up and try for the first half and then once the game was over and it’s down 24-3 at halftime and the Packers take their foot off the gas they’re like this is we got this in the back yeah you get a bunch of yards you score some like touchdowns you get within 16 and you think you have a chance when you really don’t have a chance because the Packers would just put their foot right back on the gas the Packers had a 100 plus yards rushing in the first half the only end of the game what the end of the game with it wasn’t that much um I think 114 because in the second half they didn’t if as soon as they wanted to they could have just started running it right down our throats again this game was never close never competitive and the Dolphins made it that way and it’s unfortunate because like I said we have a lot of Talent on this team we just have no we don’t have the head coach to you know I often think here’s here’s my final comment then we can end this um I remember the uh Tampa Bay in the early 2000s John Gruden Tony let me say this right Tony duny came in and he got them to a certain level but he couldn’t get over the hump John Gruden had to come in and take them over the hump Mike McDaniel came in he got Miami to a certain level is gonna take the next guy to to get us over the hump it ain’t going to be with him and that’s the cold heart facts we got one guy who you know fixed this off defense to a point and got the Dolphins relevant into the playoff conversation in the past two years as wild cards probably going to just miss it this year all that stuff okay we’re relevant again we’re not a total embarrassment like we were under Joe filin and Adam gase and all we were actually somewhat relevant but to get over the hump and to actually beat the Bills win an AFC East maybe win a Super Bowl it ain’t going to be with him it’s going to be with the next head coach rehire and it ain’t going to be this off season like I said but they’re going to have to do it at some point cuz this guy ain’t getting getting the job done no it’s it’s unfortunate but it is what it is but I I want to thank everybody for listening and watching um not football game us especially on Thanksgiving
