The Kansas City Chiefs are still finding ways to get away with extremely close wins, week 12 saw two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes lead the Chiefs once again in a game winning drive with a clutch run. Despite the heroics, the Chiefs still seem far from their top form, one they will attempt to recover against a weakened Las Vegas Raiders. Antonio Pierce’s team suffered a defeat against the Broncos in which they lost Gardner Minshew for the rest of the season. With hopes for a successful season basically over, the Raiders will aim at improvement and spoil the Chiefs’ hopes of obtaining the number one spot in the AFC. Will they make it or will Andy Reid and the boys get it done again?

[Music] um all right let’s move on to Black Friday because we have a very intriguing game between the Raiders and the Chiefs um of course last year this was the biggest one of the biggest upsets of the Year in the NFL um I think that was Christmas but regardless you you know my point it was a holiday game the Raiders upset the Chiefs uh we saw this open 12 and A2 not a ton of movement we’re kind of in no man’s land here between 12 and 14 the Chiefs continue to walk this tight RPP guys another one- score game last week against Carolina they won by a field goal but they did not cover as double digit Road Chalk they blew an 11-point lead in the fourth quarter Bryce young was Sensational um eight of the 10 Kansas City wins this year have been by one score so 80% of wins by one score that would be by far the highest rate ever for a defending Super Bowl champion just shows how much tightness there is in these margins for these games and the Chiefs are just not meeting mark expectations this year um the Raiders lost by 10 of the Broncos didn’t cover as a five-point home dog Vegas has now lost seven straight games they failed to cover five of them however one of those two covers was against the Chiefs back in week eight where they were a touchdown plus Underdog and they ended up losing by seven seen this total dip a little bit and and Fez it looks like AOC Aiden oconnell will be your starting quarterback what’s the quantification between him and Gardner mchu uh muu is like half half a point better and then if they had to go to um uh Ritter it he’d be like a point worse than oconnell so there’s not a big difference between the two frankly um I think the Raiders team likes oconnell right they won some games with him last year they’re comfortable with them my power ratings only make it 11 and a half so I would lean Raiders and you nailed it just the this whole you know there’s been a history of Bad Blood between these teams a few a few years back the Raiders won and then they won they they they circumnavigated Arrowhead like they were mellin going around the stadium and of course they won on Christmas day not throwing a pass after the first quarter so Kansas City is a non-motivated fa normally Kansas City is as unmotivated as a team can be and they don’t care when they’re up 14 in the fourth quarter but this game they will care and because of that I’m GNA pass the game yeah we said the same thing about the last game and uh you know it’s funny I I I noticed my own hypocrisy uh when I was thinking about talking about this game because one of the comments that I was going to make was the Raiders always play the Chiefs tough and uh there’s just something about that matchup and then it dawned on me well wait a minute the Bears played Detroit really well uh and they split out and they they probably should have gone 0 and2 against the Bears last year so confirm selective confirmation bias is what we all are going through in the back of our brains where we hear stuff that support what we want to do and we kind of remember that stuff but you have to find a way to be honest with yourself and say well am I just grasping it stuff so that it works for my favor and I can justify what I’m doing and um just some just a thought off the top of my head uh that I thought I’d share my model likes the Raiders this is a tough spot because the Raiders are kind of dinged up a little bit and uh but they are still playing hard and uh uh as long as you have a team that’s going to play hard then that’s okay it’s fascinating that Kansas City is 10 and one and their average margin of Victory is 4.7 points play with fire right Chris coming eventually at the crops table and I did for yeah the lions are at 16.1 and the and the Chiefs are at 4.7 so uh as Jared said earlier they don’t need to play uh for separation and I do believe that they would like to stick it to the Raiders and they very well may I I feel kind of backed into this but uh uh I have a good double digit record although last week was not good so I’m hoping to get back on the horse with the Raiders plus the 13 this week there it is Chris is unafraid of Arrowhead Stadium and all I’m afraid I’m afraid una afraid he’s taking Vegas plus 13 there’s our sic injury report they are on the other side of you here Chris they are betting the Chiefs as their sic pick of the week so we have head-to-head always like when we get a little friendly competition amongst our uh panelists here um the injury report does not look good for Vegas that is why the SIC folks like the Chiefs and Isaiah Pacho up omu the defensive lineman back up so Kansas City is getting healthier in this game and the Raiders Of course without Madison and white their top two running backs we mentioned the quarterback situation going for minu who’s out for the season with I believe a clavicle broken clavicle um cornerback injuries as well in the secondary for Vegas Hobbs and Bennett nursing some Nicks and cuts so um not a great uh injury report for Vegas but I still think that’s where the value lies in this game no play for me no play for Fez uh Chris is going to take the 13 sic on the other side of this one laying it with the Chiefs [Music] [Music]
