watch the video subscribe I do want to go back and look at what I said cuz I honestly don’t remember and we’re going to be you know hindsight’s 2020 but we’re going to be pretty critically looking at let’s get to reacting look at that lovely face right there this was made 7 months ago and we will listen to me talk a little bit I don’t want to like hear myself too much but you can see here starting off with Yosh noi Yamamoto let’s give let’s give a list as to what I say rocky start in his first start over there in Korea juice balls maybe but I don’t think he’s going to be a sa young Contender I think he’s going to be right around this 50 range I mean he’s one of the highest paid players in so apparently he had already had his first start in Major League baseall when I recorded this I said he wouldn’t be sa young type player but right around the top 50 he got hurt a little bit so obviously that didn’t come to fruition he’s a dog in the playoffs I don’t know I think that this is overall an L okay Logan Webb put together another solid year let’s give def around now and last year he was fantastic too one of the top five I believe in sa Youngs Logan web has been one of the better pitchers really since he’s been in the league and I think he deserves to be this 49 spot I think he’ll be a top 10 pitcher for Sharon baseball next season see top 10 I don’t know he kind of had like a mid3 ER right he was good he was like you know he’s a horse he puts together Innings top 10 I’d say he’s probably right outside of it so this isn’t a horrible take ooh Shawn Murphy at 48 he just didn’t stay healthy and when he was I he was not really that great this year like his offensive numbers took a drastic tick down which like I mean he was a catcher he was hurt whatever next year he’ll be better I really don’t know how much better cuz he’s kind of got to find some kind of Middle Ground way too unsustainably good in 2023 though we’ll move past that one gold Schmid at 47 yeah okay one thing to note about this is that I was really trying to predict like what would happen rather than what did happen in the past whereas in past top 50 videos what I would do is I’d kind of go by what’s already happened this one I was really trying to predict like who would be the best 50 players in 2024 Paul Goldman was not a top 50 player he had a bad year playing straight out bad lost himself money probably close to retirement and he’s only two years removed from an MVP it’s kind of crazy Brandon nmo at 4 ah oh that’s bad he also was bad this year 727 Ops I want to say ooh this is a bad what did I even say rest year of his career he doesn’t have quite have like the upside of everyone else he’s getting a little bit older now but I do think he will have a fantastic season you said he doesn’t have the upside of anyone else and then he’s getting older and you go I think he’ll have a great 2024 look at that face look at that guy bunch of Christian y 4 4 he was really good this was actually kind of a nice one cuz he had not been good the last few years when he was healthy he was really good then he had like the spine thing going on he had like back surgery when he was healthy he was good I really like this pick so overall I’d say we’re 1 and four one win four L’s bad predictions are a couple more outfielders coming up here soon I think yellow here at 45 I think I’m being generous I think people put being generous yeah maybe I don’t know say at 44 this isn’t actually that bad either he had a really nice year is he top 50 probably not but I think the underlying numbers like really liked him this is probably where this pick came from I kind of want to see what I say here only first time since his MVP years we’ve seen right ahead of him I have Chicago Cub seya Suzuki who sneaky was one of the better hitters in baseball last year and no one really knew about him 820 is Ops right there or last year excuse me let me just take a quick Gander at his stats yeah dude SE was kind of a baller this year third year in the league 848 Ops like dude he hit 283 I think he was top 50 this is kind of a nice sniff by your boy I don’t know that’s pretty good Garrett Cole 43 I think at the time we kind of banked on him being a little more healthy than he ended up being you know what I mean he missed a lot of time and just kind of wasn’t very good I don’t know I’m going to skip P this one though Blake snow 42 yeah he’s off of Sai Young so this is kind of low kind of like I was probably on the lower end for snow um he had the no hitter he had a hard time staying healthy he didn’t really have spring training he’s back in fre agency now we’ll see where he goes I think might be back to the Padre’s more and more I think about it I think Snell’s a padre oh Kevin gsman ooh he was bad this year he took a real step down two in Al sa young I want to say yeah he was not good not good in 2024 kind of one of the reasons why the Blue Jay just weren’t as good in general oh I shook my whole desk oh that is so bad dude that is so bad Bellinger you thought one year of Bellinger was enough to bring him all the way back that is so bad what I even say pick will get that tomorrow he’ll be close to that though I think that he’s going to be right around this ring I have Cody Bellinger here at 40 I think Cody Bellinger is kind of just all the way back now I know he wasn’t we only saw it for one year but dude his one year that he put it up for was fantastic he looks like better than old belly I might be no he doesn’t he didn’t look better than old belly what are you talking about like I think he could be even higher than this I think he’ be a top 20 player you think he can be what what is going on no wonder no one watched this video it’s so bad I got to I got to shut it down I got to shut it down okay Max freed he also spent some time hurt but he was overall pretty good hitting free agency at a good time we’ll move past that one oh Adis see Adis is a bad Miss he had a really bad year horrible World Series hangover but man that playoff run was m magical but he probably just got more lucky than anything to be honest more and more you dig into it oh bobette’s such a bad miss too that’s bad that’s real bad he was horrendous this year he had a 500 some Ops he was super hurt too don’t get me wrong but he was so bad yandi Diaz is like one you kind of had to include cuz he was consistently good for a few years this was his first real like mediocre year I can’t hate myself for the Oni Diaz pick but it’s nothing great Randy I put Randy ahead of yandi oo some Ray’s love in the 30s no this is a bad pick this is really common theme we’re seeing here is toward the bottom of this list it is real bad why did he let me down so badly dude Luis Robert had like a real deal year in 2023 like people don’t realize that guy was a beast in 23 he came back 2024 no wonder no one traded for him he sucked this year Luis Robert Junior Robert whatever you want to say one of the more complete players in baseball is we finally saw him healthy for a full year and he hit like 38 home runs saw the potential he’s kind of stuck there in Chicago bad team his numbers might improve we’ll have to see bregman at 30 his numbers did not improve bregman 33 dude what I think he’s hitting free agency at maybe the worst time cuz you see that this thing like him and Boris are trying to grab 11e like a Manny Machado contract like what are you talking about you think you you aging third baseman who hasn’t had an over 800 Ops in Forever forever you’re going to demand 11 years at third base out of your mind Alex Beckman was not a top 50 player he was okay he was like comparable to Alec bone okay rafy Des 32 this is probably pretty perfect he had like a good year but not one of his most elite years so Rafia 32 we take that o Will Smith 31’s a bad Miss he had probably his worst year as a professional like not a professional but in the majors he probably had his worst year I don’t even know if he was a top five catcher like this year like JT Muto might have been better than him quietly fresh off the 10year extension by the way ears King and just kind of flat out hits anything and everything ever since he’s been in the big leagues I’ll give you a spoiler now JT Ro Muto is not on this list yeah JT didn’t make the list he probably shouldn’t be JT’s been declining the last few years so Altuve at 30 this was like the first real bad year we saw out of Altuve 2 like his Ops was pretty low sevens like he finally looked old so he wouldn’t be on this list again oh I really believed in sander boog Arts what what I believed in Zander Bogarts after 2023 no not top 50 he also looks old too I have to explain myself quite a when you’re doing this you can’t just take the locks kind of like March Madness March Madness I really am about to defend putting Xander Bogarts at 29 because I need to take chances oh man no wonder you guys clown me a lot of times this is bad no this is this is real bad bonus SN my hair is kind of comparable right now to how it was back then which is kind of weird CU like I recently got my hair cut I don’t know Aeron a 28’s a bad one like he was really not good either I thought that 23 was a fluke but no it was just not good he hasn’t been good in a while first time not winning a gold think he B I did say I think it’d be his first time not winning a gold glove and yeah sure Lindor 27 I think this is actually pretty perfectly fine like maybe a little higher but I think it’s perfectly fine to put Lindor 27 he had like a good 23 but not like an elite 23 so like this is pretty good Lindor at 27 is good gun Henderson 26 I think where he overall ended up maybe a little higher but like I was jumping the gun a little bit with him so putting him higher was definitely a nice hit o Manny 25 like he was better I 23 he was slow we know that he was a little better in this year but like not top 25 not top 25 player ooh Corbin Burns 24 is actually kind of interesting I think this is pretty Fair like he was probably a top five pitcher in baseball another guy just hitting for agency at a pretty perfect time yeah I’d say this is a this is a pretty fair spot for him yeah oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Marcus simei and 23 no no he had a he like was bad in the playoffs too he just hasn’t really had a good stretch in a while Kyle Tucker 22 is great he probably would have been a MVP if he’d stayed healthy the whole year like he was silly good before he got hurt so I like that yeah Spencer Strider 21 is just like the injuries really messed that one up you know what I’m saying I don’t know if you can take much away from me for that 20 Zack Wheeler this might be perfect spot he probably honestly could maybe be a little higher but he’s going to be like second in sa young young and I don’t know this is pretty good for Zach wheeler yordon 19 that ended up being pretty perfect too because he missed a little bit of time his numbers ended up being being pretty great not as Elite as most years but like right around 19 for a guy who dhes like that’s a pretty good that’s a pretty good hit right on the head Trey Turner 18 like the end of the year really did make sense I kind of want to see what I say here a little bit team this year if he does he’ll be a top 10 player but I think he’s going to be right around this 20 I think Trey Turner has a sneaky chance at being an MVP see the thing was is like that was a lot of people were saying like he probably has a chance at grabbing an MVP because his August and September of 23 and playoffs like all that combined was so ridiculously good that he looked poised to be great now he got hurt from May for about a month like most of may he missed don’t get me wrong the guy still hit 300 over 800 Ops like he was good and at short stop that’s pretty good his defense is never going to be great he makes quite a bit of errors but his range can help a little bit the B stolen bases went away because he got hurt you know what I mean but he was at an MVP caliber through mid July really and then he just went into a silly slump really his numbers plummeted mid July to August and then his numbers on the year just ended up not being great the playoffs wasn’t much better so yeah this is a Miss he was a top 50 player I would say but I don’t think he wasn’t top 20 cuz he was a short stop whose offensive numbers ended up being pretty good Austin Riley 17 like that’s pretty like he was legitimately pretty bad this year first time in quite a while he’s been top five MVP around the last like four years three years he had a pretty bad year this year yeah see like adley this is probably going to be one of the worst ones on the list like adley just simply did not do well this year and then it got to the playoffs and it was even worse as a right-handed hitter he was something like he was kind of special as a lefty he was so bad which his majority of his at bats come as a lefty right he was so bad as a lefty it makes me wonder like if he should like I’m not a baseball coach and like I’m not telling adley rushman what to do it almost makes makes me think like dude you might be just a right-handed hitter like I don’t know his catching was still good I don’t think he was as good as the year before his season numbers did not end up in a good spot even for a catcher like not a top 50 player Matt Olson 15 like he was so silly good in 23 but just not it just didn’t happen in 24 oh Corbin Carroll look at that picture by the way this is Prospect picture Corbin Carroll 14 yikes yikes I was high on him he probably wasn’t a top 100 player in baseball like probably not he had a bad year he ended up hitting like 220 I think he had 26 home runs but wasn’t there like it didn’t happen for Corin Carrol let me see what I say here guys coming here in a row Corbin Carrol here 14 fantastic year last year in his rookie campaign was he the Rookie of the Year I believe he was took his te to a World Series now too and if he he might even get his Ops even higher he’s going to add value to he didn’t get his Ops higher sorry bud okay this is good like Bobby was good in 2024 but the jump to Elite was expect by me and I put it here I put him right above Corbin CU I thought he’d be better so good fit by me he was probably a top five player in baseball though so Julio 11 this is bad like he I suppose his season numbers actually didn’t end up as horrible as I thought that they did someone left a comment on the video and was like his numbers weren’t that bad for a superstar yeah they were bad he had like a 760 Ops he ended up hitting like 270 the homers just like weren’t really he just was not good his slow starts have to stop if he if his team is going to get any but that’s a bad Miss at 11 I was high on Fernando wow wow wow wow don’t get me wrong Nando was awesome he was a dude again this year I don’t think he was top 10 top 30 I can listen but I don’t think top 10 like Nando was nice not that nice that’s great I want I kind want to see what I say love Fernando tatis Jr people are sleeping on him Fernando’s going to have a fantastic year this year I say 30 40 30 home runs 40 bags oh 40 bags uh another Gold Glove and you got top 10 think okay Bryce Harper 9 was he a top 10 player probably not like he probably more like top 20 I you can argue cuz he also had has an elite glove at first base now but about a 900 Ops 30 some home runs like he might have been a top 10 player maybe he’s right around it jir is at eight I feel like I have him at eight like every year and he deserves it like especially this year he was a dog I think Eight’s pretty perfect that’s pretty nice [Music] oh this is bad like he was hurt and he really just didn’t get going all year but would have taken the MVP away from Otani somehow some way had to be close even like between them to even though he didn’t play the full year he played like 120 games then he was their MVP of their World Series run Cory Seager is fantastic otan at six let okay that was me talking about Cory Seager now I’m going to talk about sh Otani arguing he should be six I don’t think otani’s was should be number one but six is low I thought like I was higher on him than a lot of people were to be honest but I think six is low he was probably like two or three you know what he might have been number one I don’t know I don’t know you can argue with me either way I probably I don’t really have a stance on that Freddy Freeman 5 Freddy Freeman 5 uh I say he had a worse year than Bryce Harper had like his playoff he had a good playoff run but no he had a worse year than Bryce so he probably should have been lower than Bryce wotto a Ford might be perfect he probably was like the fourth best player in baseball this year Aaron judge three who do I have two and one aunia is still left judge three yeah sure he probably should have been two or one aunia at two I oh my gosh you know who I put at number one you know who I put at number one mookie bets oh my I was high I did pick him to be my MVP in the the video we just did the other day mooki won really I he was the MVP until he got hurt but like that’s still kind of crazy I don’t know overall this was pretty pretty bad sco’s a big scoel coming back like I picked him to be the Sai Young but I don’t know it felt like a long shot at the time I don’t know I think overall the predictions were pretty mess if you guys want me to do another one of these videos in the spring let me know but yeah that was fun to go
