breaking news Nebraska’s bowl game is official the Huskers will compete in the pinstrip bowl versus the Boston College Eagles so in today’s video I’m going to give you my instant reaction what are the pros of this bowl game some of my cons but overall my expectation for the Huskers so really quick if you’re just farted up about playing in bowl game I know I am hit that like button and really quick latest on your favorite team make sure to subscribe we’re on the road to 9,000 you’ll be thaning yourself that you subscribed but without further Ado let’s get into it going over Nebraska’s first bowl game in eight years it’s official the Huskers will play in the pin stride Bowl in New York City 1100 a.m. Central kickoff on December 28th versus the Boston College Eagles well first things first Beggars can’t be choosers and I wasn’t a big fan of this bowl game it’s in New York City cold weather obviously you want these bowl games to kind of be like a vacation a vacation for the fans a vacation for the players they kind of want that to be in the warm weather so they can go to the beach have a fun time that’s part of the bowl game festivities so by this being in New York City kind of eliminates all that but I will say this it’s just good to make a bowl game you’d rather make a bowl game then not make a bowl game that’s the first thing I’ll tell you about this pin trip ball second thing second we haven’t played Boston colle ever this is the first time we will ever play them you know and just giving you guys an early look at Boston College they were seven to five this year um eighth in the ACCC honestly some decent wins here they beat Michigan State they uh beat Syracuse they beat North Carolina beat um Pittsburgh they beat Florida state in the first game of the year so you know honestly not the worst team they have five losses barely lost to Missouri barely lost to Virginia Tech they kind of crumbled as the year went on but they have a lot of close losses in here barely lost to SMU like this might be a better team than a lot of people are giving them credit for so you know I’ll tell you this right now I haven’t done my full scattering report on Boston College will’ll save that uh for a week or two but this is a team that is honestly probably better than their win total tells you um same thing with Nebraska I think Nebraska is better than a six- win team but they’re a team that you know focuses a lot on the running game they have a really good running back um they have you know a solid receiver core they have a good defense more than anything and they’re they’re coached by Bill O’Brien who’s had a lot of success in college before so overall I think this is going to be a fun game you now I I wish played a better opponent I wish we played an opponent with more Prestige behind their name like again I really wanted Oklahoma I really wanted to play Oklahoma obviously we know that rivalry there we know the history that would have been phenomenal for Nebraska fans for Oklahoma fans so feels like a missed opportunity I would have liked to play Kansas State in the Guaranteed Rate ball I would have liked to play you know maybe uh maybe a Florida maybe an Old Miss maybe an LSU like I think those were all more fun ball G ball games in better locations but once again Beggars can’t be choosers I just want Nebraska to make a b game I would just want Nebraska you know to have a month of extra practices that’s exactly what happens you know and we play an opponent that I think we could beat you know if we played some of those other opponents I don’t know if we could beat them I think we could beat Bost College we’re going to be a favorite going in this ball game you know obviously not a great location not really great time it is a nationally televised game it’s again 11:00 a.m. Central on ABC so that take that for what it’s worth I know you know people are going to be making money off this so there is interest for Nebraska to be in nationally televised game but at the end of the day Beggars can’t be Cho I’m just happy to make a bowl game so that’s my thoughts around the Boston College matchup again December 28th I know a lot of people a lot of people were expecting to travel to this bowl game it’s going to be hard it’s going to be really hard to travel to this one in new New York City this time of year I don’t know and it’s also in Yankee Stadium that’s not necessarily the best venue for football but again Beggars can’t be Jers we’d play in Afghanistan if it meant that we were playing in a bowl game so it’s official Nebraska versus Boston College you know if we wanted to be in one of those pirateer bowl games we probably should have won more games at the end of the day all right guys let me know your
