what’s up guys and welcome back to my uh postmatch analysis of the match against uh seevilla um today was a very good match and it was also the final match of one of the legends of the modern game uh Jesus Navas um I’m going to wish him a very happy retirement uh he’s been what a wonderful fantastic player he’s been and hopefully uh he enjoys his retirement with his family and whatever issues he has um uh it’s not too big of a deal and do does impact his life so uh Happy retirement so yeah uh on to the game um today was a very very good game uh very happy with the result um this video is not going to be too long cuz honestly I’m feeling a bit under the weather but I just wanted to do a quick breakdown of the match you know um very happy with the way the team played overall you know this was a big big massive Improvement uh I’m also very very happy with TBA in this match um I have criticized them in the past but when a player does bad you can criticize them but I think it’s important that when they’re doing well that to give them the credit as well um he scored a great goal a fantastic goal and you know that ball into Bram Diaz for the goal was all that assist was fantastic um his performance has improved uh massively and hopefully keeps it going um we probably could have scored another four or five goals today you know we were we were a bit wasteful and laad days in front of goal after we were 3-0 up you know we kind of became complacent and so you know that was um maybe a downside to the match today but overall the match was very good the attack was very good um I think Rodrigo was also very good today uh just shows how key he’s also going to be uh going into the later stages of the Season uh because he’s a he’s a wonderful player you know and you know I’d rather have him on the pitch than off the pitch if you had if you had to give me a choice but it’s going to be a selection headache for ancelotti um in the coming weeks when all the players are and for Fitness you know Vin is coming back from his suspension um Bingham had a very quiet game today but he still putting himself about you’re still there making passes making runs you know but not his best game but it’s good to say that even when when we don’t have someone like Bellingham playing well we have other players that can step up and this is what we need you know we can’t be over reliant on one or two players every single match um I don’t think seia were that great because I said in my pre-match analysis that I thought this was going to be a tough match but yeah it didn’t end up being that tough of a match and seevilla were actually quite poor today um but they look to be a very young team you know very much a team in trans uh transition they have a new manager a lot of like new young players um so it’s going to take them a while to kind of get into that Rhythm into that flow uh and they’re going to hopefully one day become the severe of old um but they were not that great today and um take nothing away from our performance you know because you can only beat the team that’s in front of you and we did that well today I must say and we probably should have scored a lot more goals than we did but you know 42 is a fair result and even the two goals we considered were you know just a bit of um complacency from our players you know that those goals went in although that first cross um was was fantastic um um I might do a breakdown video on the goal scored in the match if you guys like that type that typee of content uh please like And subscribe let me know uh in the comments but yeah from what I remember that that first goal uh they scored that was a great cross but maybe there is something that defense could have done better I don’t know off the top of my head definitely on the second goal though CTO should have done better you know a keeper of your quality you shouldn’t be getting beaten on your near post like that you know you if you want that if that Striker wants to score that Striker should have to go across and put that in the far corner and it should be a well placed shot you know but uh CTO has build us out uh in so many dangerous moments he’s made so many Fantastic saves and so I can’t be too hard on him but I don’t know maybe this is just a sign that a is also catching up with him as well because you know You’ expect someone of his quality to be saving that um it was good to see rul asencio today um he was finally tried to right back kind of like what we’ve all been uh calling for um really hard to judge when he came out we were 4 one up they scored a second goal you know he made some okay tackles but there wasn’t really much uh work for him to do while he was on the pitch because we were still pretty much in control of the match so um I can’t really judge his performance a right back but it seems to have every um asset needed to do well in that position uh someone I always criticize a lot is uh Lucas Vasquez uh and I have to say I actually think he did quite well today you know um especially attacking wise but you know that’s never been a doubt in my mind uh his attacking ability because you know he was he used to be a Winger you know and it’s only be out of necessity that he’s been converted uh converted into this uh right back position and you know in all fairness his attacking player has always been quite good quite decent you know he put some fantastic crosses into the buck today that one for that cross for Rodrigo’s goal was um very good cuz mbapp was making it own I think mbapp had just actually ran a bit offside and he was intelligent enough to to cut that back to Rodrigo’s part and a fantastic finish from Rodrigo so credit to him as well today you know he played really well he didn’t let the team down you know and that’s very important um kaminga was uh his usual self played at right back out of position and he played did his job well you know you can only do uh your best and what’s expected of you and he did his job well today so I I can’t fult him but I would not like to see him transition into that road permanently I think his quality you know his um energy his work rate his passing his his covering of the ground his his qualities are just so much more better suited and better needed in the middle of the park seos again fantastic today all over the pitch you know good passing good work rate uh braim took his goal very well you know another one that’s kind of being maybe not having the best games over the last few weeks but it really improved today and we’re not always going to have this much space in most of the matches we play because most teams are going to deploy a low block against us you know seia were kind of very very poor in their pressing and they definitely didn’t cover the gaps enough you know there was just too much space A lot of times between the Midfield and the backline you know uh but you can only beat what’s in in front of you and we did that well today though overall I’m happy with the result I’m happy with the performance and you know hopefully we keep the momentum going uh we are one point Beyond Atletico three point no yeah I think we’re three points ahead of Barcelona two points ahead of Barcelona sorry so if we win a game in hand over Barcelona we go Five Points clear and we just need to make sure that we keep up with
