Sam Amari well done Sam your manager said before this game that in his opinion this was the biggest game in the world this weekend and the eyes of the world were on it so those watching what would they have made of that IP switch performance today um I think we showed a mix of things really um disappointed not to get the win on reflection with the chances I think their Keepers made a couple of fantastic saves um right from close range but we done well um we had to show our resilience at the end and yeah it’s a it’s a point in the right direction Amari Manchester United got off to the best possible start from their perspective but how positive was the I switch reaction to going behind yeah that’s how that’s what we do um you know if we go goal behind you know I think we play even better um you know we get extra boost and I thought like we get extra confidence when we go one0 down and we just have to uh keep in it and stick together and and show resilience as skip said and yeah hopefully the outcome comes positive you’ve scored a few special goals particularly in that promotion push and and similar ones to in the past but how did you rate that one personally and how crucial was the timing just before halftime yeah I’ve been working on it and training we’ve been waiting for that one we’ve been waiting for it um we want to help the team you know goals and assist and our performances and trying to win games um today was unlucky but Sam how many have gone in in training yeah um he’s got that he’s got that quality um loads go in we’ve just been waiting for that first one and now undoubtedly he’s going to he’s going to score a lot of goals this season and it’s going to make a difference for us you mentioned you should have probably and could have won the game today how much was that down to Liam dap and his efforts today and how good an oldfashioned Center forward is he yeah oldfashioned battering ram with real quality real power um he’s having a great season he scored a lot of goals um he’s had some good chances today but equally the keeper makes some fantastic saes um so we won’t be too hard on him on this occasion Amar you got that all important First Premier League win at Tottenham managers coaches players always say it’s important that you back that up in your next game do you feel you’ve done that with that performance today yeah 100% I always try to give 100% in my performances as I said working working hard for the team on and off the ball um and I think I show that I’ve been showing that in my games and I just want to carry it on and keep performing Sam just quickly do you feel lips which are becoming of age now back in the Premier League I think so yeah um we’ve got good momentum we’re getting better and better obviously we take each game as it comes it’s a really competitive league but the big thing is we get points on the board and we keep improving and um that’s a CO for the football club to keep getting better and um yeah within the next block of games I’m sure we’ll improve and get more points well listen well done to both of you but Amari especially well done to you you are the player of the match practice as it say makes perfect keep going thank you very much see you there yeah and on that point six efforts on target their most in this Premier League season are they finding their feet are they making steps forward yeah they are I mean I again I go back to the the Tottenham result getting that first win but today I thought they played really well again you look at the stats Manchester United would would have had more possession but the clear goal scoring opportunities is should be W walking off the pitch today with a 34-1 victory because they got a great goal Mari Hinson he spoke about working on that in training but Liam dap’s probably thinking in the change room right now I should have had a couple um there’s been so many opportunities they had they got themselves into good areas and I think they coped with Manchester United really well so I do think moving forward now they can take real Confidence from the last two performances I think they’ve been in the game the brenford game was a prime example go two up they may be the inexperience is which is what ConEd them over the line today they got back into shape were probably more happy with the point than Manchester United were but I can understand that it’s been it’s been a tough start to the season for them playing Liverpool Manchester City the first two games of the season but they are starting to find their feet now and they’re starting to show some good signs two great chances for dap getting himself in the in the center of the goals when the balls coming into the box you’ve got chances you know the first one in the first half should score gets himself in a great position lovely little pass and should should finish the r in the second half coming from the right wing getting himself in the center of the goal again lovely little flick great save from Manan could have been could have been a real hero today couldn’t he dap but but probably the the main player of the day I would say um the standout player put himself about made himself a proper Menace for for the man united defense and unlucky not to come out a winner are they the fine lines as a newly promoted team you know one goal suddenly you got a win instead of a draw a couple more points on the board you’re out of the Drop Zone yeah but I I just I thought it was a a lot they did right today you know we’ve seen two of the teams that are struggling at the bottom Southampton against Liverpool and I switch and you’d think ipswitch certainly look more equipped than Southampton at this moment in time they had a pattern of play they didn’t give up many opportunities the opposition you they worked really hard you can see there’s a passion around the ground it’s going to be a difficult place to go Portman Road and get a result so um I thought they done themselves proud today they didn’t get the results but they certainly weren’t second best I thought they made the better chances that they looked dangerous and they look more of a unit than uh than United did today so I think going forward as as Bentley rightly said they’ve only just come in the league they haven’t got the finances of other teams but they’re starting to build a little bit of a momentum which will help them yeah and the next and they’re not too far away from it again today the next post is they get that first home win to get that little bit more belief yeah and it moved forward again exactly I mean they give anyone a game at Port Road I think away from home at times may be a little bit easy to to play against but at home with the fans behind them because that set of supporters down there don’t expect too much that’s the bigest thing I’ve been in the Premier League for over 20 years so they’re not expecting them to get into the Premier League and start blasting teams away and finishing top half of the table this this first season back in the Premier League is all about survival and if they finish 17th and they survive fantastic season but um again the building blocks in the foundations to go toe-to-toe over a Manchester United side with a new manager who we will expect to be better than where they are to get a point and should have won the game that would give everyone uh amongst would be um massive confidence because that they’re more than finding their feet at home really aren’t they well there’s so many games at home they should have they should have taken all all the points I mean we go back back to the first half against Liverpool I thought they were fantastic maybe ran out of steam second half and Liverpool’s quality showed us and today they they played against a Manchester United side and you look at the chances they created the Conor chapl one we didn’t even speak about where it comes across and it just gets stuck under his feet I could have if I had won 4-1 today no one could watch that game and go oh that was against the run a play they would have thoroughly deserved to beat Manchester United 4-1 based on the chances that they got and what belief will they get from that loads I mean Liam did that he won’t do that again and he said to be thinking I missed two chances but he’s been brilliant this season so no one will point the finger at him and say we haven’t won today because of you because he’ll probably play next week and score a hattrick cuz that’s how good he’s been not just his goals but his General plays Teddy spoke about holding the ball up rolling Defenders creating opportuni stretching the pitch I thought he was outstanding today he probably takes man in the match if he scores the goal yeah he’s lovely and aggressive wasn’t he which you really like to see from a team that have only just come into the league working hard a lot of them work hard and you know they’re fighting for every for every ball which is great you thought Amari hutchon was outstanding today didn’t you I thought was fantastic absolutely fantastic good probably one of the match is he listen is that a good enough for you Mari fantastic fantastic how good does that sound yeah no very happy with the performance um quite frustrating that we didn’t come with a win you know Liam D had a lot of chances I thought we done really well um it was a tough second half but we stuck with it and showed resilience is that the level of your performance then that you’re disappointed to come off and and not beat Manch yeah that’s how we always want to play and win games and start C and training for but you know good side you know they had a new manager had a lot of confidence but we stuck with it and you know we’ll take that we’ll take the point Amari I thought you guys were fantastic today do you guys feel like now that you’re you’re playing at a level that’s Premier League standard 100% I think we’re getting better every game um especially coming away from the Everton game you know we learned a lot from that game and yeah as we said we’ve been working hard in training and looking back at our clips and trying to trying to work C in them and yeah I think we’re getting better by each game Amari Sten McManaman how are you enjoying the start of of this Premier League season personally I’m enjoying it um you know dream com T playing one of the best leagues in the world um you know I’ve been working very hard for this moment and you know the manager gives me a lot of confidence and belief and that’s why I’m playing so well I think um the teammates you know they give me a lot of confidence and can’t forget the fans you know they always they’re always backing me when I when I’m playing and you know I feel I feel at home here Amari teddy sharir as well just one question for you are you going to claim that goal claim that what goal yeah took a little deflection I mean I’d definitely claim it but you’re talk but to be honest we don’t really take it in um you know we know it’s a big game and you know it’s a big team and it’s first first time we’re playing against them and I thought was very confident um showed a lot of yeah as I said resilience and yeah we had a lot of chances so yeah and now you’ve beaten spur you draw with Manchester United is is that belief raising every week as you find your feet yeah as I said you know we’re getting a lot more confident each game um you know we’re trying very hard and you know we want to win matches that’s how that’s how we believe in our philosophy and yeah we just got to take it game by game and you know we just have to start getting points now and start winning games and just finally the next home win that’s obviously the the next Milestone then you can really get up and running yeah 100% we know we’re waiting for that you know a lot of draws um but you know it’s going to come and yeah we’re waiting for it really well done today appreciate Doubt uh in his let’s have a look at it actually because it was uh he said he’d been working on it in training it was some strike wasn’t it yeah it was I mean he was so sharp today I thought he was certainly in that final third I thought he was the one who looked like he had that bit of s bit special to kind of unlock the door and it was a really really nice finish I mean he spoke about working on it in train training but just that little half a yard as well nice touch and then when it comes back to him I think uh Ted was talking about earlier his touch just to take it away from the defender and I think he almost Tri to bend it round mawari but you get you get a bit fortunate in them type of situations where it takes a little Nick off the defender they deserve that Lu today he he did deserve it and said you don’t shoot you don’t score but it’s fantastic he knows exactly what he’s going to do the moment he turns and shifts his body he thinks he’s got one one thought in his mind only to shoot and a great goal a fantastic finish even before he receives this he he knows what he wants to do he knows know he knows where his marker is he’s two yards goal side of him he knows if he takes it away from the defender away from the goal he’ll get the angle so that he can whip his left foot around it and it’s a great finish deserves he’s not static at all is you see he’s constantly moving is he’s dropping his shoulders you can see he’s quite mobile he’s always going to be dangerous so he’s not going to be easy to Mark so I like it all the the whole passage of play even though it you know it looks easy is receiving and passing out and then it’s switching back and receiving it and moving again I told it was a really impressive goal and wonder about his overall play he kept a close eye on him throughout the day yeah I thought he was brilliant I thought his close control he took them from defense to attack he drive with the ball I mean there’s so many examples there he’s not scared about being tightly marked either he use his body as Ma just said they manipulate the ball and not only when he does that he gets into areas he pops off and then he goes again he doesn’t stand still and everything I thought they did well going forward he was kind of at the heart of it here’s another one where he just gets on the half turn doesn’t have to do too much understands he’s surrounding the space but again he plays it wi to West burs and I think they’ve got a really nice understanding those two and then he goes again I think there one again he gets at the minute I’m surprised he didn’t shoot here because again he it’s the same Ty thing but this time he reverses it in and I think probably that made his minor but I love this touch I mean Johnny Evans do know what day of the week it is he’s trying to get there sharp he too quick for him and he was fantastic maer yeah yeah yeah all those clips are really really nice and if that was a Manchester United player we’d be eulogizing about some oh look he’s got this he’s got that and here’s the goal let it let it runs across his body face Touch Away from casemiro and then whipping it round but he shows all the right signs as a young Progressive footballers doesn’t he yeah and Ted let’s have a look at those two chances for Dap You were talking about because on another day it could have been a very different tale y you watch him here he knows where exactly where he wants to go he’s just getting his timeing on the edge of the box there and his little movement and the delay for the pass was was fantastic and we’re we’re all in our seats here just out of our seats going it’s a goal this is the same again starts the the mil uh the move off great ball outside that he waits his time to get across get a little defection on the cross but he takes a chance he gets across his marker in the box and if you get there it’s a lovely little flick as well but the keeper read it well it’s a great save great effort you know sometimes it might have hit the bottom of his foot and gone over the over the keeper it’s unlucky okay let’s go back to windy Portman Road Owen har he’s been there all day Legends waiting look at him look at him you you had a close look at your former club today what do you make of it uh to be fair it’s getting windier to be fair and people are shouting at me I’m going to give him away cuz he’s shouting at me there but um no to be fair Omari was just here I thought he was brilliant I thought you Lads nailed it I thought he was the best player on the pitch by a country mile obviously Onana made some brilliant saes but uh I was super impressed actually with s pit toown I thought they played some brilliant football uh Manchester United I just thought you were expecting maybe a little bit more in terms of pattern of play uh maybe personel wise they not where they need to be in terms of who’s going to play but uh I thought I Chan were terrific today oh in Teddy Shar here mate um in and around the the ground today did you get any different Vibes about what uh amarim would would have been up to today um any different different things going on around the around the area he was pretty frustrated Teddy and I’m not going to lie he was right in front of me and he was really really frustrated with a lot of things I think initially I think Dallas positioning I think he was a little bit frustrated with that in the first half I think the Midfield dance he didn’t really like and when zy come on I don’t think he was overly happy with his positioning in hland as well so I think there’s a lot of stuff that needs a little bit of work but I think before the game we saw all those smiles and all that charm from Ruben am but I think during the game he was really frustrated I think he realized this is probably going to be a lot harder than he than he probably envisioned oh when I was watching the game I thought in the transition defensively Manchester United seemed a bit open do you think that will get better as the weeks kind of progress or do you think it just like that because it was his first game um it’s a good question Ben I’m not sure I mean if you think if you’re going to play with Erikson and casemiro as a Midfield 2 in the Premier League you’re going to struggle I thought Omari you know on that half turn he he had the beaten of them every time you know he knew once he got out of his feet with his you know close control and that low low center of gravity I thought ericon and Casmir were always going to strug I just thought it was it was in a way it was made for aarti I’m really surprised kobby Manu didn’t come off the bench with all the changes that they made um Bruno dropping a little bit deeper Marcus coming off I was just I think it’s going to take a bit of time to find what his best team’s going to be did you expect a little bit more bounce today with all the optimism around him I expected a bit more bounce about as much bounce as in my hair at the moment to be fair you get a free product deal here or something yeah some the shoulders or somebody them off all the brands are available I’m strugg I’m struggling yeah no but honestly I did I expected a lot more um but I think you have to credit if toown I thought they played brilliant football obviously the first go that man united score was terrific right right right from the back everybody was involved brilliant goal uh fantastic from M Marcus gets on the end of it I love this you know there was just there was a patent and play it was lovely everybody’s involved Ahmad was terrific and and I thought wow what a start 2 minutes in Marcus gets into position he actually needs to be D’s there gacho’s there great goal great start and then basically after that they didn’t do they didn’t do any more that and I think obviously Ahmad playing as a right wing back being left footed I’m not sure I think he played okay today and he did brilliant getting that set up but I just thought after that start you think right go get another one but really the team that played after that I thought was Zip’s toown they were by far the better team in the first half in my opinion I thought you I were better for the last 20 minutes but after that start you would expected right let’s go you know let’s go attack let’s go create a little bit more thought gacha was pretty quiet couldn’t get on the ball and Ruben amam his you know he looked really frustrated without you know what he saw I think in that in that first half especially Owen what did you make of the decision to play rashford down the middle I know he scored his goal relatively early 81 seconds but what about after that his General play yeah I think he I think there was a few Nuance I think there was you know you got Teddy and you you understand that position better than anyone I don’t think Marcus knew at times where he needed to be when the ball was in certain areas and Ruben I think was quite frustrated with that I would have thought maybe gacho comes off you know Marcus can go play on that left as a number 10 and maybe play as a stri even zy you know played as a like a as a 10 I don’t think that suited him so I think for Marcus I think Teddy said it before the game he prefers to play on that left and you could see that today I think there’s going to be to me it looked like there was four or five at least players playing out of their natural position and and I think it showed at times oh and do you think man united at this moment in time have got the Personnel to play this formation or do you think he’s going to have to bring in his own type of people it’s a good question M I’ll be honest I’m Ian I don’t think we ever worried about you know formations yeah you know we just played but I looking at that today I thought I didn’t feel like maybe that suited you know a lot of the players out there I think a lot of I think the team will look different in a few weeks time I think ugti will get in there kobby will get in there obviously Martinez y Luke Shaw I thought looked good when he come on but I if it wasn’t for Onana you know they they probably would have lost that game today so I think it’s it’s going to take a bit of time I’m I’m with you MAA Personnel wise maybe not the best with you know with with what they have but this is how the manager wants to play and I don’t think if you don’t fit then you probably won’t be here very long on on top of that as well Owen do do you think there was a lot of players out there I just touched on it straight away that there was a lot of players happy to get a draw today when in Ferg’s time with us he would have been saying that ain’t good enough for us to to come here and get a draw that’s not good enough I want to see you trying to win the game rather than settling for a draw do you do you think they’ve settled into that way of life under the last few managers I mean you wouldn’t have thought so Teddy you know what it’s like you know especially with the fan the 3,000 away fans you know they’re pushing they were singing um but I think they realized they you know iown were probably the better team and especially in that first half and probably should should have been a lead I thought once they made the changes uh Ian I thought they were actually worse and then United had a little bit of the initiative but I I don’t think they ever really looked like scoring a goal I don’t think there was many chances from open play so I think from that sense I think a you know draws is is probably a fair result if anything I thought ifan would probably had the better chances uh in the game so I think there’s a lot to improve on for Man United obviously playing wise but also mentality wise they you know they need to get back to that to that fighting spirit that mentality I just think today was I think we all expected we’re hoping for a little bit more and it just didn’t didn’t really deliver in my opinion in terms of the overall shape Tedy um you’ve hinted it’s going to be probably a lot of change as he as he tries and experiments but today as Owen say you agree was too many round pegs in square holes well Stevie said earlier they they they can make a lot of changes got a lot of people on the Ben but but there’s no real standout players in the whole Squad where you say he’s got to play he’s um we’re going to build our team around these five players you know there’s only the goalkeeper that’s the the first name on the team Sheet you could you could pick two teams out of them and you wouldn’t know which ones you’re going to play you know you’re playing rashford up there you could play hland xery up there they’re all pretty much of a muchness at the moment you got wide players out there you know you got Midfield players in there that you could rotate he said Mayo would Mayo have made a massive difference I’m not so sure um you know there’s there’s a lots of players but they need to get back to going out and buying top players that lead by example yeah and drag people along when the going gets tough I mean when you think of it Ugarte come on I don’t know 50 million Mason Mount came on again 60 60 million hland came on million 35 million they have to have to make an impact otherwise what are they doing there you know who bought them because that is 200 300 million pound worth of complete waste they’ve got a stacked bench against a team that’s just come up from the championship first first time in the Premier League in 20 years and they didn’t look as if they were going to score so something is fundamentally wrong and someone is has to take the blame for that the coited that hasn’t he so I mean no I know I’m not blaming the new coach I’m blaming the players he’s inherited that group of players yes and it’s clearly trying to get them into his clearly not good enough so then he’s they’re going to have to give the new coach another2 200 million and then they’re going to have to get rid of a lot of these players that that’s easier said are UNG getting rid of them you just can’t get rid of them because you need to pay them a fortune just ridable new word everybody so you have to pay them to leave so they’ve got massive problems going forward unless the players who I’ve just mentioned improve you know by another 100% because they didn’t do anything coming on the pitch and they supposed to be star players who played Champions League played for the country numerous times I’ve done this I’ve done that and yet you didn’t see anything we’re still saying now as a three and O and hardes oh yeah if switch were much better if switch were better I mean that can’t that can’t carry on that can’t carry on yeah when I got to United there was a continuity of top players revolving you know few had just left there was more coming into the team you know like you had the Brian robsons that had just left and iny then you had Roy Keane and palisa Brucey had just left pister had come you know and the top players lead by example and they show you what to do you don’t have to be told by the manager you know you you’re just LED and you follow in and you like you know the skoles and the beckhams and the gigs take on that mantle they become older and then the and then the kenis leave and then the next people comeing then the Rios come on you know and and it the continuity of top players makes the the the Football Club carry on into L life there’s no top top players at Manchester United now so they need to start the whole process again of going out and saying right for example uh Dean rice two years ago go get him Harry Kane there’s the there’s our middle of the team you know leading by example other players follow them when new players come they’ll see how they do things in training how they conduct thems are they professional they lead by example and then other people go oh that’s how you do it I never did that in my other club because we didn’t have top players there but we have now you you’ve shown me how to how to act as a professional footballer playing for the top club in the world and that it just gets passed on to the next Generation but that’s not happening at Manchester United they need to they need to dig deep and go out and say right these three top players going to cost a lot of money but they’re going to come into the football club and they’re going to lead by example okay Owen stay with us here is the man who’s got to lead Manchester United after his first game in charge the thoughts of Ruben Amry Ruben so your first game in the Premier League a draw what do you make of it not a good result but is a tough league with a high intensity um but we start very well and we we should have more ball after the after the the first goal uh but we are learning in comption so was really hard for them they were thinking all during all the game they were thinking what to do was not like fluid and it’s normal with do trainings but but they try I just want I just ask to try to to run they try to do it we’ll see in the future how happy are you with how they adapted to your ideas cuz I know you said you haven’t had much time it’s a new system a new way of playing how happy are you with how they adapted they try and you see that they have so much space to improve Mo and that’s is a good thing but after a draw you never feel the good things you try to to think in this game try to think in the next game so um I’m I’m really happy because they they try but they can do so much better the goal that you scored early on a dream start for you in your first game and the sort of goal that you like to score that type of play yes yes uh we work on that but they have the talent to to do it um and then um is all about the players they execute the the play because they are very good players what about Bruno’s role in this new sort of shape that you’ve brought yeah I think he improves when he goes to the midfielder near the ball uh of course in that phase um the pressure of the ipswitch um slowed down a little bit so he had more space than Kazmir and and dixen we have to improve in every position but I um I enjoy his his game there were a few of us surprised when we saw mazra playing as one of the the three Center halves how happy were you with the way that the players adapted maybe out of their normal positions yeah we have as you know we don’t have too many Central backs uh so we have to adapt some players I think Ahad play very well there defend very well uh very dangerous with the ball in the last third and masi is so smart I think masawi is so important for us he can play Anywhere um and that’s that kind of player is so crucial for our future and just finally your first experience to the Premier League how did you find it did you enjoy it I know you’re disappointed it’s only a draw but yeah it’s it’s a great environment it’s a it’s a great game the spectacle is is great but I I I have to tell you when when the game start is like I’m playing in Portugal or in third division I I focus so much on the game anything is is is the everything is the same so um you have you you guys are so lucky you have the best league in the world I’m really happy to be here but today I I don’t feel much because I I like to win games top man pleasure to meet you all the very best thank you Ruben thank you yeah he’s a winner because in his uh last 45 games at sporting he won 40 of them uh he’s not used to dropping points Owen is he um he’s come from a very different winning environment and you can hear from him there learning he used three times learning learning learning yeah I think we’re learning a lot also about he’ll be learning a lot about his players I mean I don’t think many of those players will be playing in 3 four 5 weeks time I’ll be honest with you I mean it was interesting you know you know Maka and and Teddy mentioned about you think back to the great Liverpool teams United teams you knew who was going to play you know in defense in Midfield up front you look at that United team right now there’s not many you’d say or guarantee to start you know and I think that’s a bit of a worry he’s got to have a couple people that he can guarantee rely on and I think it’s going to take a bit of time but I I think y will make a big difference I think lassandro Martinez will make a big difference I do think kobish going to have to play in this side but they need goals from somewhere someone’s going to have to step up hland came on was really quiet zy come on was was super quiet so I think it’s going to take a bit of time to to find these rotations I do agree with him about mawi I thought he was terrific even though he’s playing a position he’s he not overly comfortable with so um these players are just going to have to find a way to adjust and get used to these new positions because short term Tedy I mean January is very difficult times to do business anyway so realistically the next 6 months he is going to have to work predominantly with this group of players he is and he’s have to going to have to get his ethos about how he likes to work very very quickly getting all all to understand you know he’s put not just you know he’s joining a new uh country the Premier League is is always hard for newcomers to come in and and learn how to adapt to that so he’s learning about that he’s got to learn about his players he’s chucked in a new formation as well which they’ve got to get their heads around as well so you know he there’s a lot to take on for for a new manager it’s a it’s a tough situation I think it’s going to take a lot longer than than probably he would expect because he’s had such joy in his previous Club I think I think this is a a longstanding issue that we’re we’re going to have for two or three months because as a as Owen was just saying there can you tell me one player that he’s going to he’s definitely going to be in his team in three months time there’s two out the back three already you presume mazra will have to come in Bruno will have to come in but Ugarte and Main who were on the bench yeah I have no idea who he’s going to finally go for as a center forward because Marcus primarily likes to come in from the left doesn’t he will he swap with garnacho in a center forward coming I’m the I’m exactly the same so many questions and then throw in a formation that is is alien to a lot of the players you know it’s not going to be a quick fix is it you’re going to have to have a lot of patience and that’s what the I mean we should give the new manager a lot of patience is 39 com into the Premier League we have to be patient with with these people and let them get on with the project that they’ve got in front of them but I don’t think it’s going to happen overnight it’s very unusual to have a Manchester United Team where you could not pick five players to say that’s who I’m going to hang my hat on they will be playing week in week out and they’re going to lead by example you’d be lucky to name two or two three maximum just finally ow before we let you go um do you think watching him there close by today at the end of that comfortable he was a little bit too n he’s used to getting the ball out wide thought D was too high up on that left hand side he need to be a little bit deeper so I thought they struggled to keep the ball um and I would have thought maybe this formation would have suited there but actually today I thought you know it was difficult for them to actually keep the ball if anything ipwi toown looked think that’s the the overriding emotion we could have won the game for sure I think we certainly finished the first half in big ascendency and I think the balance of the first half we deserve to be at least level but probably ahead and the second half was really competitive we we had a couple of big chances but we had to defend a lot as well man united had some good control and we had to be disciplined in in our defending so it was a competitive game we certainly could have won it on another day you can see in early Golden man united with the motivation they had today the game can get away from you and it’s credit to the players that it didn’t so now we take the positives and we move on I was just about to say you can talk about tactics and formations what about the character and resolve after you conceded so early on yeah we’ve built that in the group to be fair and in the club you know that when we have a setback here I think everyone responds really well the crowd respond really well and the players know that we just double down on what we do and I thought that’s what we’ve done in the first half we got caught once or twice early on where it was a few pitchers that were a little bit different and uncertain which is natural when you’re coming into a game and you’re not quite sure what the opposition’s going to do um but I thought as the half went on we just got more aggressive and more Brave and our intensity of our pressor took over really and the quality of some of our combinations and and quick passing you know got us complete control in that half so yeah when we have a setback like that we know that we we just go again with what we do Darren as I say four points from six next couple of games um do you think they can build a little bit of momentum here Bel I think that performance would give them a lot of belief because they should have won that game I know he was kind of being a little bit on the fence and terms of they don’t look at it that way but that’s what he’s like he’s if they’re winning games he’s not too high never too low if they’re getting beat but I think they’ve applied themselves really well and I think that performance today they should have beaten one of the sides that we perceive as one of the biggest in the world obviously new manager all that excitement around them by the first 10 minutes you’d have to say where they scored the goal I don’t think Manchester United really caused that many problems and you can take great credit from that because you’re causing problems upon problems you created chances you worked hard you got yourself in some good positions and I think moving forward certainly Forest away yeah will be tough but Forest are not in a great form then Palace Bournemouth and wolves there’s no reason why they can’t put together a little run and take some some points in the in the next few fixtures I’ve got some good news for you you got to stop talking about Manchester United
