[Music] just what would you say about Pat Bryant guy you kept going to yeah just no surprises right um as we all know he’s he’s um he’s special just with everything about him his talent his abilities but his his intangibles you know he’s a he’s a leader of men a leader of our team a captain and uh he’ll he’ll go down in history as one of the best receivers ever played here I know that that’s for a fact man and glad he’s my teammate not because of his abilities obviously like I’ve said but just um because of the he’s um love love love all our guys when he’s running did you think like hey get down or were you did you see a path for him to get to the end what was your Vantage Point on all that well I got hit under the chin you know and I was on the ground so I didn’t see the completion even happen I just I saw a little window there that I knew I could get it to him um so I was on the ground and then I kind of pop up and see him kind of running kind of running at a good angle I I didn’t really uh I don’t know where the clock was exactly yet but I I knew from my vantage point I could see him you know he was going to go score so I I didn’t think for a second he was going to go down because I know he was he was he was chasing that end zone so just what a cool moment so what is it about the fourth quarter for you running game got going for you threw for over 100 yards in that quarter what is it about that quarter three touchdown Drive yeah just got to go find a way you know you play three quarters and you kind of figure out what works what what doesn’t work and kind of got to um you know toughen up and got to go do what you got to do to go win so whether that’s getting downhill run game or you know Finding ways to put the ball in the air you know got to go execute and got to do what you do and I just think it speaks to the just the Brotherhood the trust that we have in each other we just don’t Flinch in those moments and no matter what the score is what quarter it is we just keep on putting one foot in front of the other um and I think that just starts with our head coach Coach B with the positivity that he instills in US we’re just confident we’re a confident group you know no matter what situation score quarter very confident we just put one foot in front of the other go try to do what we can on that one specific play right away you knew after the Miss field goal that that play church was going to be called the second the field goal that was timeout yeah the time out yeah I was watching coach I knew there I heard the whistle blow and I heard there was a timeout and I saw coach B’s reaction to the extreme win that was that was present today and I knew that he he probably just didn’t feel confident that we could just get it there because men are 25 30 miles per hour out there so knew that we would that we were probably going out there so and U didn’t know the call at the at the point in time I thought we’re kind of I don’t know what we’re were going to do to be honest because you know timeouts it was it was a really interesting situation but you know great call by coach leny and knew I could knew I could you know make something happen so you talk confidence in those types of situations just as is that new for this team this year could you have won a game like this a year ago or two overtime games or just all these kind of comebacks that you’ve pieced together I don’t know we try to say each moment individually you know they’re all so different and you know we practice you know we re re it and practice these you know two minut end up having the game situations religiously so uh very confident and you know opening up the field playing with Tempo confident in our calls and and the answers that they have in them so there was no no FL like I said there was no Flinch because I knew in every two minute call I had answers for you know what we were going to see in those two-minute situations because the defense usually plays differently in those situations play some coverage play some man pressures and um whatever they brought I knew I had to answer in it and credit to my receivers offensive line for giving me giving me time up front and our receivers winning you know their oneone matchups and finding sweet spots in the zone so was thear out I mean everyone kind of knew in the place it was going to go to 13 probably imagine so how does he continue to get open like what is it about him Pat how does he continue to find a way to get open even though people probably know the ball’s going literally I don’t even know you know kind of those last four or five plays we were kind of on 40ish yard 30 yard line and they’re playing Just man pressure so I was looking for for Pat the whole way I was like why are they not doubling this dude you know so and I was even like looking at him like like why they not deing him so I don’t know um they don’t hope Western go out there in duin but you we have so many Playmakers across the board the ball just found him mostly the day and uh it’s not like we you know call play specifically for him the ball just kind of finds him in in the situations he gets open in the winter you did a a interview where you talked about what it was like sitting for the last three games with John Paddock starting last year and and like lessons you learned and things you were telling yourself on the sideline of this and that all these late game heroics this year is this birthed out of that like were you in those three games of watching did you you think you learned some things that you’ve applied this year absolutely I don’t I wouldn’t trade any uh any you know kind of I I wouldn’t trade my journey for for anything in in the world I don’t care you know you know what it’s been you know I just credit God for you know I wouldn’t be the man who I am without uh you know the tough times early in my college career even year you know not uh you know kind of in the moment not having things go my way and I didn’t understand why but you know now I do you know the Lord made me so much tougher and so much stronger than in those tough times and I carry that with me every single day everywhere I go even outside of the the football world so um thank God he’s always been so faithful to me even in the wins and the losses even if you know we lost this game matter God’s so good you going to text him and tell them I can do this too that John P right I even thought like thought about him you know kind of going off the field because it’s so it was such a similar situation y um you know last second touchdown big big play 40 yard play or something that I literally thought about him because they’re just so similar but yeah um really cool cool Aiden’s touchdown you were signaling it was good I think two steps after you gave him the ball I me did I don’t did you see that did you see his route to the yeah I knew I mean Aiden’s just so quick so fast so as soon as he caught that edge I was like there’s no way he’s not getting in so um kind of got a stale made up front and he saw you know kind of a lane to bounce it kind of to the boundary there and if I know Aiden he’s he’s going to chase that end zone you know he had found it all year I don’t think so I don’t think there’s anything stopping him from going to to go to put us in situation to go get six points unlock you running the ball on that drive that ended with your 30 yard run like 58 on that drive what you see what what kind of G conf you just on that uh just on that entire Drive I with your 30 yard run and you had like 58 total on that driv what unlocked you or what you saw or what kind of prop that running um I don’t know I just like I said each play is so specific and like unique in its own so and each play usually has an aspect of be keeping the ball and and running it I know that there’s some game plan specific for me to just to go direct run it you know there were some calls that we had there but you know kind of the touchdown run that was kind of a unique play where I’m really not even supposed to pull the ball but I saw kind of a Nubs set and they didn’t really have an edge so I know I can low them to sleep we’ve been handing it you know on the dive all all day and I knew I could at least get you know 10 or eight like get that edge so um got to do I just do what I got to do to go put our team in position to win that’s the bottom line
