it was because Liverpool were 2-1 down and M Salah yet again drags Liverpool to Victory he is the MVP the best player in the world in the world he’s the king of the Premier League so far this season so I would say to Liverpool FC give mosela a new contract I don’t want to say give him whatever he wants but he definitely deserves a pay rise and at least a new two-year contract with an option for a third year we cannot let this man go we cannot let mosela leave because he has I think 17 goal contributions in 12 games which is absolutely bunkers if you think about it like 11 goals and six assists something like that and he is absolutely the best player in the Premier League so far this season but Liverpool I have to be honest we weren’t good we didn’t play well Liverpool weren’t even like average I think Liverpool were below our average I consider an average Liverpool performance like a 6 and a half seven out of 10 this was probably a five out of 10 per performance by Liverpool maybe even worse defensively I don’t understand why we take unnecessary risks because Liverpool were one n up and cruising we scored a great goal after a terrible selfon mistake soos gets the ball after you know Curtis Jones High presses the S Southampton defender in the box which is brilliant he passes to another Southampton Defender who fails to clear his runes properly he tries to clear the ball but it goes straight to Lo zos on the edge of the box and soosay my fellow Hungarian Countryman with his weaker left foot curls in an absolute Beauty into the top Corner in off the post that’s s’s First Premier League goal of the season and hopefully this is the first of many I would still like soos slay to take more shots from in and around the penalty area in and out box because he has one of the best like bow striking techniques in the Liverpool team and probably one of the best in the Premier League but the most important thing is Liverpool were one n up and cruising and then Liverpool started giving the ball away unnecessarily in the second part of the first half and the biggest culprit was Virg vany who actually takes the ball and he tries to dribble with it for some reason and two or three Southampton players are around him and he passes it sideways but of course the pass is getting intercepted because funik at that point is already almost on the halfway line and from the resulting attack the Southampton players were running at um Robertson and Liverpool defense what I don’t understand is Robertson again another very experienced player he has about 20 M to make up his mind do I dive in do I just track back and he tracks back until the edge of the box when he decides to dive in and make a needless and worly timed tackle and of course the sampon player who going away from goal trips on Robertson’s leg I still think it was just outside the box where the contact is made but why do you give the referee and the v a chance to give a penalty why not just foul him 5 m um outside of the box if you were F going going to foul him anyway maybe Robertson was caught in two minds but he’s like 31 years old he’s so experienced and some people are already saying Robertson is finished and he should be sold I think that’s a little bit harsh judging on this game but truth be told Robinson has been disappointing this season he’s way below his usual high standards and even he I think will admit to that and I would definitely try to sign a left back either in January or in the summer because timas got a knock in training so he couldn’t even be on the bench hopefully timas will be fit because he should start the Real Madrid game and then whoever you know is fit or the most fit should start against Man City but I’m a little bit worried not going to lie with you know the Real Madrid attackers running at Robertson in during the midweek or the Man City attackers running at Robertson he really needs to improve because he looks physically not as good as previously and mentally he’s making big errors uh of judgment his Crossing is not as good as it was before I don’t want to talk about Robertson or single him out but he is disappointing this season and he gives the way way that noted the referee gives it and V of course with Michael Oliver on v he’s never going to overturn it because he’s in the pockets of Manchester City we know now it’s clear as day that the Premier League referees are corrupt and the PGM are corrupt there is multiple evidence David C producing videos that was used to blackmail him probably for years so there is no argument anymore that the referees are corrupt and yeah zon gets a penalty and it was one of the worst penalties I’ve ever seen almost straight down the middle not even with with any height and because ker Dives to his right and the ball is down the middle he cannot Parry it to the side it goes straight back to Armstrong who has a tap in into the empty net so unlucky um penalty incident but overall I think fondik and Robertson two huge errors before the penalty so Liverpool go in at halim at 1:1 and I’m thinking this is the massive second half one of the biggest second halves of Liverpool season and Liverpool of course this season are a second half team but we go two one down instead of going two one up and we were actually creating chances before even that Southampton goal went in and Liverpool got caught out from their own Corner Southampton do a brilliant Counterattack and soosay makes an error not fouling dibling on the side but then the ball is into the vast open space of the Liverpool half Kate and Bradley are sprinting Full Tilt towards the player and the ball while not thinking that there is another Southampton player behind them wide open I think they should have communicated better maybe konate should I mean Bradley Bradley should give konate the heads up that you are closer to the ball so you you go with the ball and the man and I’m covering the other Defender and by the time Connor Bradley realizes what’s happening and I can you know I’m a little bit more understanding of Connor Bradley making little bit of defensive like errors of judgment because he’s so young he’s what 21 22 years old Robertson has almost 10 more experience 10 more years of experience than Conor Bradley and so Connor Bradley makes an error of judgment he should have switched to the other sampon attacker a little bit quicker and Fernandes scores a brilliant goal kahir had no chance with that and it’s 21 Southampton and now I’m thinking this is a massive 30 35 minutes for Liverpool and I think on a slot substitutions changed the game because mallister and Diaz came on for gakpo and Curtis Jones even though Curtis Jones wasn’t too bad he was not at his best this wasn’t the best game of Curtis Jones and Meister was brilliant when he came on Lis Diaz injected a lot of pace a lot of trickery on the left wing and what was crucial is that Liverpool just kept on attacking kept on piling the under pressure and I want to check out the full statistics after the game because Liverpool must have had something like 30 shots at one point in the second half I was watching on Hungarian television and the commentator said that uh sampton maybe deserve a draw here and then they were showing that yeah Liverpool had 27 shots to Southampton seven so I don’t think Southampton deserve a draw with better finishing Liverpool should have scored five goals today we had 11 shots on target 27 shots in total 2.9 XG southampton’s XG was 1.3 including his penal their penalty which is like 0.8 XG for a penalty the most important thing is most equalizes and it’s a brilliant uh over the top through Bow by Ryan graen the goalkeeper Mick McCarthy comes out and he was very unsure very big liability for Southampton the goalkeeper of course it’s not even their first chice goalkeeper because Aaron Ram there had the broken finger I think so he couldn’t play so McCarthy already missed a couple of Corners Liverpool Corners he didn’t connect with the ball trying to punch it out and Liverpool almost scored before that but then he comes out trying to intercept the Ryan gra back assist or pass over the top through Ball but salai first to it because salai so much faster and Maat is in the box and Salah just topes it into the open empty goal and I cannot tell you how difficult of a finish that is because the ball is coming from behind of Salah it’s raining it the wind is blowing it’s absolutely atrocious conditions and Salah with just one touch scores into the empty net with the outside of his foot that’s an incredibly hard finish if you played football in rain in Wind you know how difficult it is to properly connect with the football to properly take a good first touch and that was what made uh the game even more difficult for Liverpool but you know the saying champions win when they don’t play well champions win even when things go against them in some games and that’s what Liverpool did this is the so far a hm Mark of Champions that Liverpool answered almost every like setback that they had apart from the Nottingham Forest game and the Liverpool could answer today and then the penalty was again another huge sampon error but I told you guys it was windy it was rainy and so the ball bounces off Sugar’s chest and then he flicks it on with his hand I think out of reflex I’m not sure it was intentional but it’s a it’s an absolutely STX book Stonewall penalty and even a few minutes before the actual Salah penalty goal the southon defender drags back M stair and falls down but it wasn’t given and the Liverpool fans and Mista were screaming for it but in the end Salah scores the penalty into the roof of the net it was hit with power mcarthy guess did the right way and then Salah could have had a hatrick when he hits the base of the post after a Liverpool cross is deflected up in the air and from like five yards out on the volley it’s a difficult shot but Salah hits the base of the post and it’s a couple of inches inside more inside and it goes in off the post so unlucky Sal was actually devastated he didn’t score a hattick because not every day you get a chance to score a hattick and Salah this was actually the first premier league game this season where Salah scored more than one goal he scored a double and bring on Man City bring on Real Madrid the biggest worry for me is complacency I told you guys that Liverpool need to be more switched on and there was complacency from fondy uh before the first Alum goal and maybe from Robertson not that not trying to engage the player quicker and yeah the the left back position is the one like major worry of course we weren’t as threatening on the right wing because Trent wasn’t playing he’s injured so Connor Bradley had a pretty good game uh but otherwise I think we were very very good and the bit my other worry is that Darvin Nunes misplaced like three passes quite badly and he wasn’t as evolved in the game as you would expect a striker worth 75 80 million pound rounds against the bottom table side this should be bread and butter for Darin Nunes but he was largely Anonymous he had a couple of shots but otherwise yeah he misplaced some quite tricky passes maybe the conditions didn’t help him but Liverpool don’t have another Striker at the moment jot is injured so the jot to come back quicker is massive for Liverpool it’s very very important hopefully he will be back maybe for the man city game Darvin I think should start maybe against Man City if jot is not fit enough but if he is I would actually start J against Man City I’m not sure I mean l his pace and physicality could could maybe worry the Man City Defenders more and you know what that’s what anes slot is paying the paid the big Bock for to make these big decisions but so far Liverpool are having an almost perfect season and long may it continue I think now if we beat Man City it’s an absolutely massive massive 11-point lead at the top Man City are still second uh to be honest so Liverpool at the moment are eight points clear and we have a vastly superior goal difference to anybody else even though we ConEd two goals and our defending wasn’t great we still have by far the best defense in the Premier League the second best defense is actually Arsenal and they conceded four goals more than Liverpool so long M continue and Liverpool also scored the second most goals after Tottenham so so far Liverpool have been the best team in the Premier League after 12 games nobody can argue with that the big test will come against Man City and I would even rotate against Real Madrid because the champions league is important but there are eight games in the league phase so Liverpool can still finish in the top eight even
