[Music] welcome to the second intermission time for the Saturday headlines as always with Elliot Freeman and Elliot eigor shuren five goals for the fifth time today is an absolute disaster with the New York Rangers it was unbelievable to watch you’re at home Madison Square Gardens Saturday afternoon it’s 5 nothing Kings after 25 minutes and it’s not going to be a surprise for anyone to hear that the Rangers are open for business now they’ve already traded Jacob trouba they’ve let it be known that Chris Crowder is available they have some Untouchables like shurkin who they just signed and there are no move Clauses but uh Ron I think they’re willing to consider all options they want to hear ideas people have and they’re listening to what could be out there for them so the freeze uh for Christmas is happening on December the 20th no trades can happen in that week uh is anything percolating right now yeah there’s a few things going we had one today and we’ll get to a bit more on that in a second but there are some names out there that people are hearing from now one of them we’re going to see tonight in the back end of our double header and that’s Tren Frederick of the Boston Bruins on sign for next year I’ve been around long enough to know that what’s true today may not be true tomorrow when it comes to contract negotiations so I’m not going to handicap it but they definitely Bruins are getting a lot of calls what are you thinking here will you keep him will he be available he’s a guy that’s definitely got a lot of interest in Vancouver reports surfacing this week that they are trying to move defenseman Vincent de AR unfortunately this just hasn’t worked out as well as player and team of hoped I did hear a little bit the kanaks preferred draft picks in return because they wanted some roster and cap flexibility but the knucks I have now heard are willing to consider all options in order to help get Dayna a fresh start Cam Fowler was traded today from Anaheim to St Louis he is playing for the blues tonight and he is making his debut as he flew luckily they weren’t at home so he could get to Dallas for the game Jeremy beaka batuka in a second round pick were the pieces in exchange for Fowler then the blues made Brandon s a healthy scratch tonight sod is in the fourth year of his or the third year of his contract he has one more year remaining at a a 4 a half million aav he’s a two-time Stanley Cup champion and the blues would like to move him he’s got a no trade clause but I’m told he’s been willing to consider some other options so that’s another one to keep an eye on Ron as we head to the trade freeze Lashley Elliot you wanted to reach out to Robin Leonard if you could yeah so last night people viewers who are active on social media everybody was very worried about some concerning social media posts he made and you know everybody here at the NHL and sports net and Hockey Night in Canada wanted to let l or know that we’re with them we’re thinking of them we support him I know there were lots of attempts made today to reach out to him and say whatever help you need it will be given to you but uh you know everybody in the hockey world is rooting for Robin and Leonard and we just want him to be okay amen OT yeah Robin uh you should not be alone suffering and you’re not [Music]
